Sheesh it was just a joke. No need to take it so personally. Oh well, Nyx obviously took her profession very seriously, and that was admirable.
"It could be worse, I stare at a dark tunnel all night. And I did hear a little bit about that." Will replied to Panther with a nod.
As Will led them through the corridors, he eventually stopped at a set of doors. Punching in a keycode, the doors then opened to a small laboratory.

He was toughly under the impression she hadn’t been taught her place, and wondered if scientist got a different program then the average grunt.
“I’ll trade you. I’ll take the dark tunnel and you take the blinding sunlight.” he shrugged, watching him punch in the keys. “It was interesting, I happened to be on scene when it happened.

Nyx perked up a bit. Labs were familiar and like home.
"I heard some gossip about that... But no details." She thought she remembered something about The Boss being mentioned...

"Sure. I'd take an assignment at the HQ over this place any time." And the sunlight didn't really bother him, he had that visor after all.
"Oh? What happened out there?"
Will stepped into the lab and took a piece of paper out of his pocket. Glancing at it, he then moved to a container used to store samples in liquid nitrogen.
A button was pushed, and a latch released, allowing him to pull out a rack of vials. They were labeled with numbers and Will took a moment to scan them over. Selecting one, he then placed it in a nearby portable storage container, after putting on a pair of protective gloves.

That was the legendary DNA? It looked, so liquidity. He wondered how they would manage to get full fledged legendary pokemon out of... that. No matter, they would just take it back to HQ and call it mission complete, though he was fallowing it all the way to the labs, just to be sure.
"Giant Drapion robot, don't know what the heck was up with that, it attacked and a group of us, including a few elites, held it off. Then he started asking us to join team galactic after we defeated him." he rolled his eyes at this point, not that it could be seen under the sun glasses. "Tried to tell us that there was no boss for team rocket. That lasted all of about two minutes, when the boss came down with a dark Groundon and kicked his a**." He laughed a little at the end. He left out how the elites had looked like the galactic member had stuck a cord, and how weak the verbal defence was. Personally, he thought someone should have shut him up and dragged him to the cell sooner, and that the boss's presence was completely unneeded.

"You saw the boss?! Fascinating! What is he like?!" In her excitement, she almost forgot about why they were here. But once the sample was in the container, she remembered herself.
"So, any idea what it is?" Oh how she wished she had a powerful microscope and some time.

Will also seemed a bit impressed. He had never seen the boss either, and knew nothing about him.
"I'm curious as well. And a Dark Groudon... that must be a powerful Pokemon."
Once both containers were sealed, Will turned and handed it to Nyx. "I'm suppose I don't need to tell you to be careful with it. But it will only stay cool long enough for you to get back, so don't take took long. And honestly... I have no idea at all."

"It was pretty powerful. He's very commanding. If you saw him there would be no mistake, especially since he has a blue ponytail that goes past his butt. Probably uses the thing as a whip." He smiled at Will.
"If it takes that short a time, we'd best get back then. I'll crank the Ac on the way back, must be why they gave us a good car." He wasn't concerned on what was in it, just that it got back in time.

"Alright, we can talk on the way back, if you two want to keep discussing The Boss. Blue ponytail, you say?" Nyx looked thoughtful as she turned and headed out the door with the case. No time to lose. She was anxious to find out what was in it.

"Right. I'll escort the both of you out." Will said with a nod.
He then looked back to Panther with an amused little smirk. "A blue ponytail. I never would have thought. Its interesting that he kept himself hidden this long and then chose that time to reveal himself."
The red haired man led the two back out of the laboratory and made sure the room was locked before moving back the way they had come.

"It is." he shrugged, letting the subject drop. He'd probably be questioned by Nyx on the way back, but Will seemed to have enough for now. His charmander had waited outside the lab room, it was too cold for comfort in there. It seemed she had taken over Nyx's dirfloon. He didn't bother to make sure she fallowed them out, he knew she would.

"Do you think anyone outside of Team Rocket has heard about The Boss? It isn't like that Galactic dipshit got to go back and tell everyone." Say what you would about Nyx, she was loyal to Team Rocket. It helped that they didn't have any crazy ideas about creating new worlds.
Nyx was walking twice as hard to keep up with the other two, she had short little legs with short little strides, but keep up she did. She walked for Science!

He passed a glance at Panther. "Did he mention his name at all?"
After all, it would be nice to know the name of the guy that pays you.

Did he? He frown, trying to remember. He remembered being a little shell shocked and he paused working it back into his memory. Lusifer... no that wasn't right... "Lucere. Lucere something that started with a T." he nodded and resumed walking, catching back up to Will and noting Nyx's struggle to keep up with them.
Nika had bumped into him when he stopped and rubbed at her noes furiously. It hurt. Seeing him start moving again, she trailed after him, wondering what that was all about.
