Sighing to himself, Yamatano decided to go the more interesting way to the top of the tree. Biting his thumb, Yamatano flew through the boar, dog, rooster, monkey, and ram handseal before slamming his hand on the ground and crying "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" From under his hand came a great snake, A Kyodaija, whose head was level with the treetops. Yamatano, who had been standing on the head, hopped off and thanked the snake with a steak. Where he got the steak, no one will ever know. He then turned back to Kaizen, a sly grin plastered on his face. "Suprised?"

Kai's jaw dropped as a giant snake arose from the earth, carrying his friend along with him. When Yamatano hopped off, Kai could only stare in dumbfounded shock. "Where the hell did that come from!", Kai exclaimed after a moment of shocked silence, exploding with excitement at the sight of something so amazing. How had Yamatano learned to do such a thing? Kaizen didn't have the answer to that question, but he knew that his friends new ability would be immensely helpful during the exams."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Kanzuki just laughed, "Show off." he said as he looked around for abit bored," I'm going to go wander for abit, Yama explain anything to Kai I might have missed." He stated as he hopped from the railing and took off in a random direction.

 "How do I do it? Well.........It's quite a story, actually. Have you ever heard of the jutsu called 'Kuchiyose?'" And with that, Yamatano told Kaizen every detail of his trip to the snake lands. His meeting with Kuro and Manda, his training in the arts of summoning, Old man Ryuza who taught him Genjutsu, even using his newest jutsu Seneijashu, the Hidden Shadow Snake Hands, which even Kanzuki did not know he possesed. Elapsed time: 1 hour.

Kai listened to his friends story with an eager interest, smiling the whole while at his friends exploits. When Yamatano finished his story, Kai sat there for a moment in silence before saying exciteldy, "Dude, that is so cool! I want to learn to do that!""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Yamatano smiled despite himself, proud of his unique new ability. "Well Lord Manda DID say that I could allow others to summon if I found them worthy, and you of all people are worthy in my eyes, and-" Yamatano suddenly stopped, about to remark that Kaizen's Chakra might be suitable for summoning. However, he didnt want to give anything regarding the Gobi away to kaizen, so he changed the topic. "Actually, the summoning jutsu is an extremely Chakra Intensive jutsu. If it hadnt been for all that training, I dont think even I could do it. And I'm not sure we can send you away in the middle of the chuunin exams. But hey, someday right? Well I'm gonna let you get settled, you must be tired after taking the boat AND the test in one day. See ya later!" And with that Yamatano dashed off. (Exit to waterfall) (I'll post again sooner.....or later)

Kai was just about to say something when his friend suddenly decided to leave. With a questioning look Kai watched his friend leave, and with a shrug he decided to walk around the tree houses to see what he could see. It was true that he was a bit tired, but the excitement of finally being here acted like a jolt of adrenaline in his veins.
Walking around Kai found a tree house that was basically just a large open room. With a shrug Kai unsheathed his new blades as he strode into the center of the room. He hadn't had a chance to test out his new blades yet, and he wanted to see what they could do. Moving them slowly through the air, Kai tested the weight of the blades and got a feel for how they moved through the air. "I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

 "Well boy, you seem to have quite a feel for the sword." Came a voice directly behind Kaizen. Sephiroth had entered the treehouse completely unnoticed by all the Upper Jounin level Guards, leaving no trace of himself (Except for the two pairs of legs) In order to meet with this boy, the Houkou. His long silver hair flowed in the wind, and his long, beautiful six foot Katana, the Masamune, shone in the moonlight. "Tell me, boy, do you remember me?"

As the voice rang out behind Kai, the image of a large black wolf flashed in his mind, its mouth pulled back revealing two rows razor sharp fangs teeth meant for ripping and tearing flesh. Letting his blades fall to his sides, Kai turned on his heel to look at the man that had appeared. His face was set in a serious grimace, unsure what to make of this strange man.
But when the man asked whether Kai remembered him or not, the memory of his venture into the ransacked village rushed back to him in a torrent. Kai's eyes widened in surprise as the faces of his assailants appeared before his very eyes, followed by a flash of steel and the face of the man before him, and ending with the sight of a great white eye. Kai's mouth opened ever so slightly, a look of awe spreading on his face as he said in barely a whisper, "I remember... thank you.""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Sephiroth almost managed a smile, but did not for the simple fact that Sephiroth never smiled. "Thats good, but you should not thank me with good feelings. What have you done since then to make yourself stronger, boy? You have not worked on your blades, your Ninjutsu, nothing! If those bandits came back, you would be in exactly the same position you were then. Which is why.........I shall teach you the one true way to wield a sword, so that you are never placed in that situation again." He said, towering over Kai, Katana in hand, making a very imposing figure, as if just being sephiroth wasnt imposing enough.

Kai looked at the man slightly taken aback by the man's accusation. I haven't grown stronger? Hmmm... I don't know about that, Kai thought to himself before saying, "and yet, I have grown stronger. I've learned from that mistake, and if I were put in the same situation, the outcome would be different I can assure you. Every experience, every encounter makes me stronger." A small smile spread across Kai's face as he looked up at the man as he said in a happy tone, "that being said, I welcome this new chance to grow stronger." With that Kai hopped back several feet and raised his weapons defensively, his Katana held out in front of him pointing directly at the silver-haired man, his wakizashi held to the side, pointing towards the ground. As Kai fell into his stance the look on his face also changed, becoming serious as he waited to see what this powerful man would do."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

(Wait, what happened to my last post, it's gone! Oh well, I'll just make this new one) Sephiroth merely scoffed at the boy. "You think you can learn this style with a sword in your hand first off? No, for this training, you will not even use a sword to begin. We are going to hone your body first, not your blade. To practice this style, one must be as fluid as water but as quick as lightning. Do as I do." With that, Sephiroth undid some weights, making small craters in the floor as they dropped, and began to move in intricate shapes and turns, almost as if he were..........dancing? But it was clear where the sword was to be placed, how the movements could be translated into dodges or strikes. Sephiroth kept up this "dance", waiting for Kaizen to try and mimic him.

Kai was a bit taken aback when the man told him to put away his blades. Lowering his blades to his sides, Kai slowly moved to sheath his blades as he watched this strange silver haired man begin to move in a manner similar to a dance. A confused look was still planted on Kai's face as he shifted his legs slightly and lifted his hands in front of him, mimicking the beginning stance of his new teacher. Taking a deep breath, Kai then began to slowly move through the different steps of this strange "dance".
Kai's breathing was slow and rhythmic as he moved his body, doing his best to let his limbs flow through the forms like water. As he brought his right foot forward and swept his left hand in front of him in an arcing movement, he realized that with a sword in his hand this would be an effective means of parrying a blow while allowing himself to press in for a counter-attack, but as he tried to sweep his left leg around, he lost his balance, the unfamiliar movement throwing off his center of gravity and causing him to fall to the ground.
But as he stumbled, Kai managed to place his right hand on the ground and roll with the movement and then hop back to his feet. The movement wasn’t as fluid as it could be, but at the same time he was just improvising. Falling back into the flowing dance, Kai took several steps forward, his feet almost gliding along the ground, and with every step, Kai would push his arms forward and away from his body. This, Kai could see, was again supposed to be an effective means of parrying his opponents blows away and then leaving them open for attack. After a few steps, Kai then brought his arms in and spun, bending his right knee as he let his left foot move out to the side and then thrust his hands up and forward, stabbing at the imaginary opening left by his imaginary opponent."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Sephiroth would have smiled, but due to the fact that he never smiled, he just maintained his trademark scowl. Without warning, Sephiroth took a few of his own weights he had dropped on the floor, strapped them to Kaizen's wrists and ankles with small pouches, and began to explain. "Alright boy, Now that you have discovered the fluidity of water, we must focus on striking fast as lightning. These weights will help you with the speed of your strikes. Focus on thrusts, parries, and basic strikes, but do it as fast as you possibly can. Here try to attack me. You might have a chance, my weights that I'm still wearing are 700 pounds on each limb." Sephiroth said with usual cocky arrogance, despite truly wanting to help the boy. He got into a ready stance, waiting to see how good he was.
