Nova nuzzled into Kyrs fur, "rest sounds good" he said, yawning, and curling his tail around her "here seems just as good as anywere" he said with a smile. He was happy, content as they were, and the thought of their long future warmed him more than the sun ever could.

Kyr grinned and laid down keeping Nova's tail around her. She smiled as she thought back on the day and pondered where the future would take them soon she was asleep.
Her dream started out nice, she and Nova raced through the oasis laughing in the bright sun but suddenly it grew cloudy. She turned to call out to Nova that they should return home but he was gone. She was scared and was running blindly hoping Nova was back at their den but when she entered Nova wasn't there. She raced to the back room, but Nova wasn't there. Instead it was Sangha. He smiled at her.
She woke with a shiver. Glancing over at Nova she snuggled closer and licked him.

Nova snuggled close into Kyr as they slept, he shivered slightly but didn't wake as in her sleep she moved away a little. He also dreamt, his were filled with happy times past and imagined future ones with Kyr, he wasn't small and weak but big and strong like Sangha, or Arcane, and he was protector and bringer of food for his family. He smiled in his sleep, even as Kyr shivered and snuggled into him. Dozily he half woke and curled his tail around her again, keeping them both touching, and together before falling asleep once more.

Kyr sighed and laid her head down enjoying the feel of Nova beside her. She pondered what the dream could mean as her eyes closed and soon she was asleep nuzzled close to Nova using him as her support.

Blissful days turned into blissful weeks and Kyr's strange dream was long forgotten. Their den was perfect and just in time, for the bulging Kyrina was just about to pop. Kyr sighed as a slight pain retreated, thinking she'd done too much that day she'd retreated inside to the main room of the den to rest. She couldn't remember being happier. Then another pain came this one stronger a small grunt of pain signaled the end of her pain. Suddenly understanding flashed across her face. "Nova! It's Time!" She shouted as she waddled towards the back room, she was in the twisting hall when she knew she wasn't going to make it to the room. "I'm in the back hall!" The pains grew and she hoped Nova was close enough to hear.

Nova was returning with a couple of small rabbits he'd caught for the two of them, with Kyrina being so heavily pregnant he wouldn't let her even try and hunt. He rounded the corner towards the den when he heard Kyr call from inside, he couldn't make out what it was she said but he hurried in, "I'm in the back hall!" he heard her this time, and heard the worry and pain in her voice. Dropping the rabbits he rushed through the winding tunnel "KYR! KYR!" he called, nearly stumbling over her "Kyr whats wrong?!" he asked, eyes wide in worry and panic.

Kyr laid panting catching her breath before talking. "It's time." Her expression softened and she gave him a gentle lick on the maw before another contraction washed over her. "Water please?" She managed between breaths. The worry on his face confirmed that he shouldn't actually be present as they were born so distractions it would be. She smiled through the pain willing her little ones to be quick.

Nova panted "its...its...its TIME?!" said Nova, hsi jaw dropping in shock "wh..what are you doing int the t..t..t..tunnel we have to get into the r..r....r..room" he said, leaning up against her "w..w...water? .. yes... lets get you in the other r...r...room first" he said, trying to choke down the sickness he felt as panic hit him

She smiled softly. "ok I can try. But I don't think I'll make it. Would rather be prepared here then try to move and not be ready." She took a few moments to compose herself after another heavy contraction and stood, walking after all was supposed to help. She was able to take a few steps before she felt the urge to push. "Ok I'm not gonna be able to make it. so please get me some water." Oh he was going to be here. please don't pass out. she thought to him as she gently laid down.

Nova braced himself beside Kyrina, his side against hers. he gasped as he felt her contraction "Kyr!" he exclaimed "Kyr are you alright?" He asked, "come on Kyr love, just a little further" he urged her, "just a couple of feet and you're there... please" he said, encouragingly, lovingly, but also very very worriedly, he didn't want her to have the pups in the cold mucky tunnel. He nudged her slightly as she laid down, "please Kyr, not much further" he said when she asked for water "i'll get the water, please lets just try and go just a little bit further"

And true to the unpredictable traditions as soon as she laid down the urge to push subsided. "Oh alright seems these little ones agree with you." So with an humph she got back up and slowly waddled into the cozy room. They'd decided to use soft moss as bedding and she gently laid down. "There we go little ones."

Nova sighed in relief once Kyr had reached the inner room, "ok, i'll go fetch the water" he said, giving her a swift nuzzle "i love you Kyr" he said, before heading off, he looked around for something to bring water back in, but couldn't immediately spy anything.

Kyr smiled and returned Nova's nuzzle. "Thank you. I love you too!" She settled in as Nova left for the water. Soon her world narrowed and all she thought about was bringing her pups into this world. Finally it was over and her vision expanded out. Panting and content she looked around the room, wondering if Nova had returned.

Nova took quite a while to find something to cellect some water, but he found a large leaf shaped, and some vines, he somehow tied the leaf and vines in such a way it formed a small bowl shape, with a handle that he could pick up in his mouth and carry it home. Reaching the river he dipped the leafbowl into it, letting the pure cool water flow into it.
Heading home he came across a small bunch of rabbits, he gently leaned the water against a tree stump and swiftly caught one, only a small one but it wasn't for sharing, he'd caught it for Kyr to eat. He reached the den to the sounds of small squeaking, quizzical he entered, thinking some sort of rodent had gotten into the main living area, then he caught the new scent, as quickly as he could (with the water in his mouth and the rabbit over his back) he moved down to the tunnel "Kyr" he called the sound muffled through the vines, "Kyr i brought the water" he said almost dropping as he entered the other part of the den "OH! Kyr love! they'er beautiful" he said as he saw what she'd been doing while he was out fetching water for her.

Kyr smiled as Nova came in and removed herself around the baskets. She gently took the water from him and slowly took a few drinks. "Aren't they?!" She looks at the baskets adoringly. "Here let me help you with that." She reaches up and grabs the rabbit from his back. "You can go see them if you want." Goes back to sipping the water.
