Sitting up, Max could only watch Jen beat the machine up. When it made the sounds of technological death, he let out a sigh, closing his eyes. "Please, PLEASE tell me there's a water fountain in here..." The Grunt picked himself up off the bleachers, going over. After staring a moment, he pushed it a bit. "If it falls over, will it bust open, at least?"
Kunal let out a pleasant "Floon", drifting over and attaching to Hayes' head.

Oh snap....
She hadnt ment to break it. Only for it to fork over her bag of chips, which it STILL hadnt given. Grumbling under her breath, Jen turned and gave Akemi a sheepish grin. "Sorry. Sometimes I tend to overreact at stuff."
Moving towards the still-working soda machine, Jen popped in a dollah and pressed for a can of lemonade. By some happy glitch, two popped out instead of one; grabbing one, the new grunt walked over and offered the dark-haired Grunt with the Glaceon the other.
"Peace offering?"

The raven-haired Grunt responded to Jen with an embarrassed smile of her own. "You didn't have to, really, but.. thanks", she said, the tone of her voice making it clear she really meant it. She took the lemonade that was offered, taking a sip and exhaling deeply. Having some more sugar in her system noticeably calmed her nerves. "Ah.. that really helped. Thanks again", she said to the other girl.
The girl then reached into her bag to pull out one of the bowls from before, pouring the contents of the other can into it so that Nemerle, Rei and the Eevee could all have some lemonade.
Akemi then glanced over to the group that still stood by the door, and couldn't help but chuckle softly as she saw two Drifloons attached to Hayes' head in a somewhat affectionate manner. Pokémon really seemed to like him. The girl smiled a bit more naturally again as she resumed petting Nemerle, happy that the Glaceon seemed to like her as well. Rei was sniffing the Eevee curiously, wagging its split tail.

Alphard, yeah Shuppet knew that pokemon, Shuppet’s friend, and Shuppet seemed to like that idea very much, “get” she said quietly waving the Shuppet with encouragement, the ghost type cooed excitedly, spiraling up into the tall ceiling and vanishing as he ghosted through the building in search for someone that might help.
Sighing softly when her pokemon was gone, Faleen looked back at the group… someone was breaking the vending machine… oh dear.
Looking back over to the frizzy haired grunt she was standing closest to “have any ideas? Want to battle?” she asked, not sure what else they could do. “I was training before all this started” Umbreon let off a soft “Breon!” at that statement, not happy that his training had been interrupted.

Nyx looked over to the blond girl talking to her. "We could, tho Newton-" She pointed to the normal colored drifloon attatched to Hayes' head. "He has never battled before. I'm a scientist, not much training. All I know so far is that he knows..." Nyx pulled a small notebook from her pocket. "Constrict." She smiled awkwardly.
Newton loved this new person. His head reminded him of pie. He liked pie. Newton started... gnawing at Hayes' head.

"'Bar?" No matter where she glanced in all the confusion, Teil couldn't see hide nor hair of her precious Pokemon. Not that she was worried about her, or anything... Never. Rebar was trained well enough to take care of herself. The sounds coming from distant corners of the room still made her wince, particularly a sharp clang from the vending machines. Excellent: they had just proven a valuable principle - angry, bored, or living Rockets destroyed stuff as easy as breathing.
Sighing, Teil shifted herself and wandered over to the Rockets around the machine as well. "You wanna... push it over?" The expression she turned to the Grunt who asked was dubious. "Lucere will have our butts for that..." Even if she wasnt as gung-ho about his sheer bossitude as everyone else, she did believe, at the very least, that he was the one who wrote her checks.
Rebar continued her happy wiggling, pressing her nose against Akemi's hand in enjoyment. "'Veeee~" This was a lovely lady, indeed. Her head whipped around as Rei began to investigate her; she sniffed right back, both ears pricking up and toward the Psychic type. "'evee?" Yes? Could she help this one?

“Ah, then maybe not” she answer with a small smile. If the pokemon had never fought before Faleen knew she wasn’t the right person to be training it, Umbreon wouldn’t hold back, and Faleen wouldn’t want him to. She looked over at the pokemon that Nyx had gestured to, the balloon pokemon, or at least one of them, With Hayes once again being swarmed by pokemon. Goodness he had patience. “Well, maybe another time then” she said to Nyx. “My names Faleen by the way, I don’t think we’ve met before”

"Well, would you prefer we worry about him making us pay for a new machine out of our combined paychecks, or die of hunger?" To Max, they seemed the only good options. "That or we start eating each other."
Jayanti let out a "Chu...", climbing back to her spot on Max's head. She blinked at the other Rockets, face in a bit of a frown.

Nemerle dipped her head in agraceful appreciation of the offering, but didn't sip. Too sweet for her tastes. Instead she rubbed up against Akemi's side, more for the girl's comfort than her own enjoyment, and watched her trainer get.. covered in balloons. The Glaceon snorted.
Hayes looked slightly nonplussed as Kunal drifted over and bumped gently against his head. Another one? "Heh. Hey guy. Or girl." Strands of his hair rose up and stuck to the balloon Pokemon as static built up.
The blond smiled back at Nyx as if having Pokemon clinging to him was an everyday occurrence. He pulled out his Rocketdex and pointed it at Newton; the holographic screen slid out and clicked into place. "Let's see what he- uh.. okay." Wincing slightly as he brought his arm above his shoulder, the agent tried to gently detatch the Drifloon.. gnawing him, with a half-laughed "Little too much, buddy."
"And flood the room, yeah," Hayes called distractedly to Max. "Really guys, it'll be a few hours at most, probably less." Oh boy. They really did need something to occupy themselves. He moved toward the center of the room, trailing Drifloons.
"Battling's good but keep it light for now. Why don't you guys start with introductions? Name, rank, division if you've got one and .. eh, favorite Pokemon and video game? I've only met about half of you."

Repo was not an errand boy. No sir. But today there was at least something to be gained by moving around the base, and if he was going to do that then he might as well serve as gopher for someone. Walking with an egg was thought to vastly shorten its hatching time, and being pokemonless for so long...It was safe to say he wanted his egg to hatch as fast as possible. He'd taken a short hour in his quarters earlier to fashion a sort of egg carrying harness that he could wear either on his front of his back. Frankly he thought wearing it on his front made him look remarkably like a very thin, very un-pink, very serious Chansey. Of course, he'd only worn it on his back after that.
Thankfully there was plenty of running errands to be done, and he'd found himself quickly occupied carrying deliveries and paperwork hither and yon through the base. Once or twice he thought he'd felt a twinge from the egg on his back, and it forced his stoic look into a brief smile. Exactly as he'd planned. Both of Max's pokemon had seemed healthy, and though their individual temperaments left something to be desired, a healthy blend of them could turn out a quite neutral-mooded pokemon, he figured. Hopefully that would be the case. He found Kunal endearing, but ill-suited for this line of work. And Jay, though a perfect 'criminal' pokemon, was prone to rebelling against her trainer. That wouldn't do either. No, he'd be sure to do all he could to instill a more even temper in the egg before it was even hatched. On the offchance he'd run out of things to carry around, he'd slung his fiddle in its case over his shoulder so it hung just below the egg. Playing music for infants in the womb was supposed to promote brain development, so who was to say it'd not work for his egg?
"Let's have a look now..." He thumbed through the assorted papers he'd been handed. A fair number were fliers to be posted in this room or that about upcoming maintenance or events around the base...Ah, this one was nearby too! Something about a dueling class in one of the training rooms...He glanced up at the numbers by the doors he was passing. Well what did you know! He was just down the hall from it. "Whadda ya say we get tha' one outta th' way first, eh little guy?" He smiled discreetly as the egg twitched in response to his voice. He shuffled the papers around so that the one he needed was on the top of the pile, and without further adieu turned the door's handle and let himself in.
Hm. He glanced quickly at the strange crowd gathered inside. He recognized some, but couldn't say he knew any...what were they all doing here? Maybe the dueling class started tonight? Shrugging mentally he stepped through the door and let it slam shut behind him. He spotted his partner amongst the crowd but paid him little mind as he trotted right over to the room's message board and tacked up the notice.

Akemi couldn't help but giggle quietly as she saw one of the Drifloons start gnawing on Hayes. It was such an odd sight.
"Mm, I suppose you don't like sweet things then, eh, Nemerle?" she asked the Glaceon, stroking the top of the Ice type's head softly. "You go ahead then, Rei.. and you too, little one. You look familiar but I'm not sure who you belong to.." the girl said to the Eevee, scratching behind its ear. Rei lapped up some of the lemonade - even though sweet wasn't its preferred flavor, it didn't really mind it. "Eonn", the Espeon uttered softly.
The sudden sound of the door opening made Akemi's head turn immediately, only to witness it being slammed shut once more as another Grunt entered. "Ah.. ah.." was all she managed to stutter, at a complete loss for words.

"Faleen. Hi. I'm Nyx..." Nyx started to follow the blond man, she needed to keep an eye on Newton afterall. If she remembered right, his name was Hayes and he was an agent. At least they had some higher ranking Rocket locked in here with them to keep some order. Although, Nyx chuckled, observing the claustrophobic effects of being locked together in this room would be fascinating. 'name, rank, division...' Nyx snapped out of her science-daze. Oh, they were doing something. Alright.
" Nyx, sir. I'm a new Grunt. Ugh, I hate that title. Sounds primitive and degrading, oh but I suppose it is meant to be, on some scale. Oh. Yes, should stop rambling. I work in the Bio department, uh, mostly the chemical component, some genetics... I don't have a favorite pokemon? I am fond of Newton... Suppose I should say Drifloon, then? I enjoy Dungeons and Dragonites, but Newton likes playing Group Fortress 3."
Newton deflated unhappily as he was detached from Pie-Head, but perked up when his favorite game was mentioned. Did someone bring the fun-box? Newton loved the fun-box! "Floon!"

Jen quietly sipped at her own lemonade and stroked the egg laying in her lap. Interaction, her parents always told her, was good for both pokemon and trainer even when it was still in a shell.
Bonding was a good thing. And being someone who wanted to specialize in electric types, Jen was more than willing to earn the trust of her soon-to-be comrade. Less chance of ending up in the hands of the doctor that way. Smiling slightly at the thought, she let her fingers linger a bit on the warm shell; her smile grew when the egg twitched lightly. Jen could have even sworn to have felt the lightest amount of static tingle the tips of hand when the sounds of the door opening and closing jerked her out of daydreaming.
Someone had come in, and now the door had been closed behind them. Jen let out a string of curse words under her breathe and glared in the general direction of that person.

Having just stood there as people got frantic over being locked in the room, Nikki just sighed and watched as people tried to come up with ideas to either get out or pass the time.
There was no sense in getting worked up over it, and thus the girl had just sat herself down in a far corner to wait. This was irritating sure, and the blonde looked quite irritable. Yet she just silently hung out with her Pidgeot.

"Oh schnapple." Now they were without food? Sorano sighed a little and chose to take the time to nap. Slipping away to the bleachers, Sorano curled up. It was going to be a long day . . . or night . . . or week, month, year . . . however long they were going to be stuck together. Soon, he drifted off to sleep and loud snoring was heard as he muttered something about mustard and following protocols. Blah.
