Just because she does not have wings does not make her weaker. She is more innocent, but she fights with the fury of a warrior if she's forced into the situation. Your son has not found a weak mate at all. And as for your mate disappointing you, there are better ways to handle it. You are proving to me that you are nothing more then a cruel and heartless Alpha, and that you do not deserve Sam in the least.
I can understand loyalty, but I do not know why she ever stayed with you, if this is how you treat her. You're treating her like filth, and I will happily take her into My Pack, to keep her from ever being hurt by You again. She snarled at him. Things might have worked that way where you are from, but they don't work that way here. She watched his body language, and braced for the charge. Let him come.

~Niko smirks~ " It not fact that she doesn't have wings, it the fact she wasn't raise the way she needed to be to have Trovin as mate. He is the next pack leader he was surpost to take my place! Marrie the mate we had picked for him and rule with a ironfist." ~ He glares again and thinks then grunts in pain as he drops his wings and glares at his body remebing the wounds that he had recieved from his pack~ " I know that I don't deserve her, I do love her. It kills me to be so cruel to her, but I can't and I won't allow this. She should have left me when the pack attacked us. I was beaten dying. Yet she fought them off and saved me." ~He sits as he burns out~
" please don't take her away. I will die without her, but if she wont take me back I just it is for the better." ~He feels a tear slide out of his eye and down his cheek~ " I gress I will be going now. I'm sorry for everything." ~ he turns and looks at a his wings as it starts to bleed again. " I hope Sam is happy in your pack."

Sky snarls savagely, and pounces him, rolling him backwards before jumping off him, and standing in his path. You pompous a**. Do you think I really want to hurt Sam that badly? If she stayed to protect you, you are hers. And you had better take care of the gift. And as for who Trovin was supposed to be with... She sneezed in disdain. If you'll take a good look around, you are not in your pack lands. Maybe he didn't want to live like that, and now he's here. We don't have such rules like that here. If you're going to stay here, you have to adapt to the rules we have here. her tail still lashed behind her, more irritation now then anything else. How could she get this stupid male to understand?

~Niko calpses from her pounce and lays there, before standing back up and listening to her~ "II will she is my heart. Maybe you are right, I have lived that way for so long I don't know how to change and live in these lands. I just if Sam will still have me, I gress we could figure it out together. if you were willing to help us." ~He yawns~ " I really need to rest, I just hope that Tarja doesn't come looking for Trovin."

She allows herself one more flick of her tail before letting it stay still. She had managed a break-through. I will be willing to help, but you're going to be eatting mud for a while. I give hard lessons. And as for sleeping, I know a rather lovely place that is quite well guarded and has a certain female of yours sleeping. I'm sure she would be rather happy to know we haven't killed each other yet. She motioned with a paw back the direction they came. If you are interested that is.
I will ask later who this Tarja is. But for now, I am sure my daughter is hunting your mate some food. And knowing her, probably trying to hunt for all of us. Which would mean you would not even have to hunt tonight. All you would need to do is rest. Taking a deep cleansing breath, she finally added. I have only just met your mate, but you need not worry about me harming her. She has earned my respect, so whatever you decide, let the fact rest well in your mind that Sam will be well guarded, and will not come to harm.

Niko sniffly sits down and listens to her then smiles. " okie I don't mind eatting mud for a little while, I bet Sam would be glad to know that we haven't hurt another." ~He watches her motion with a paw and stands then slowly starts heading back that way.~
"Your daughter has my thanks, you do too, I hope I heal soon enough to be able to protect her again soon." ~He steps over logs and branches grunting as he does so~

Sky watches him for a moment, studying the other male, and watching for any signs of deceit or trickery. It was not easy for any dominant to just let go of any sort of control. But then again, he was injured, and he could hardly protect his mate in the state he was in. Perhaps it was just for convenience for the moment. Her tail flicked in agitation again, before moving ahead of him to gain the lead.
She silently walked through the forest, keeping an ear forward and alert, and the other slightly backwards to hear if he tried an attack on her. She didn't trust him at all, and would make sure to keep an eye on him. But for now, she would take him where she was sure Avara would have taken Sam. She had often taken Avara there as she was growing up, and it had been the safest place to keep an inquisitive pup. Sky thought back to the day she had found her daughter.
The poor thing had probably barely been weaned when she had saved the drowning pup from the river caused by a flash flood. For a while afterward, she wasn't sure Avara was going to survive. And then, she did. And she showed her new 'mother' that she had a curiosity bone as big as a mountain, and had a hard time containing it. How many times had she saved that girl from trees and mud bogs, and predators? She had lost count a long time ago. But she would not change anything about it.
Sky shook her head to clear her thoughts. She was supposed to be keeping watch. And she remained vigilant as they came across the protected area, with Avara laying sprawled before it. Apparently, Sky had been right again. Avara had done some hunting for all of them. There were three rabbits, a few voles, and the two clam-creatures that Skyfire had dug out from the lake earlier that day, though it seemed like years ago at the moment. Avara was slightly soaked and out of breath, and she shook her head in mock dismay. Avara, how many times have I told you to pace yourself when running? I could have done some hunting when I got back. Avara only looked at her, then lay down panting. She had been doing a lot of running recently, and apparently had finally run out of energy.

~Niko watches Sky and walks behide her, feeling stiffly. Once there he sees Sam and Trovin he gets close to Sam and stops a couple of feet away~ "Sam, I'm so sorry, I didn't it forgot me?"
~Trovin watches his mate and smiles at her then wiggles until he is closer~ " Avara you could have asked me to help. I feel useless because I didn't help you." ~He smiles at his mother then watches as Sky and his father walk up~
~Sam sniffs the air and smells food, she also hears Avara panting and blinks, listening to Trovin she smiles and leans her head down. She perks her ears as she hears Sky listening again she hears the heavy steps of Niko hearing him get close and listening to him she glares. She was still mad at him and she wanted him to know that she was glad he was there but also that she was very upset with him and what he did.~
~Niko watches his mate, he could tell that she was not happy with him and it would take a while to let her get near him again. He nods towards Trovin then looks at Avara and nods towards her. " I'm sorry for what I said, welcome to the family." ~He knew that his voice was dark and he spoke from his heart. He also knew that he had a lot to make up for.~

Avara smiled up at Trovin, panting. It is alright. I needed the exercise. Besides, someone had to stay here with your mother while Sky was out with your father. I didn't want her to be left alone. And I knew where to go and get something to eat. She lay there for a moment longer before rolling on her side and gaining her feet. So, up for anything to eat? She looked over at her mother as she came back into the area. Well, there didn't seem to be any more damage then normal.
Sky decided she wasn't going to help him. This was between he and his mate. She padded over to Avara, and sniffed at the shell creatures. Well, at least they're going to be put to good use. She pulled one over and started prying it open.

~Trovin nods to his mate and smiles at Sky as he watches her snif the shell creatures. He smirks as she starts to pull it apart. He then snuggles closer to his mate and smiles at her again. He kept one eye on his father as he did this and he wanted to ask her how they should tell their parents that they were expecting childern. " We need to talk with are mom's"
~Sam sniffs and listens to everyone. She then looks towards Niko and smelling him bleeding she rolls her eyes and then speaks. " My love, would you go and find me some firelower so I can rebind your wounds?" ~ She hides a smirk as she waits for him to repile~
~Niko watches Sky pry the shelled creature open and then looks to his mate when she speaks to him. blinking he stands up and looks at her then turns and starts to head for where he saw the flowers last~ " Yes my love." ~ He was happy that she was at least speaking to him~

Sky cocked an ear questioningly at the pair as she finally gets the shell pried apart. The creature inside is a bit slimy, but tastes delicious, and she makes quick work of dinner. She had overhead the comment, and couldn't help but examine the pair as she licked her muzzle clean.
Avara smiled and nuzzled Trovin, resting her head under his for a moment and soaking in his nearness. She had discovered this not so long ago, that Trovin would be a father. She wasn't worried about Sam or Sky knowing. It was the father that was going to be the main obstacle. She nodded to Trovin, and looked at Sky. Sam, Sky. We have something we want to tell you. She smiled at her mate, and leaned against him. Trovin is going to be a father.

~Tovin watches Avara and smiles lets her love on him he smiles at her and nods as she tells their mothers he then loves on her and watches his mom and Sky's reaction. As he nuzzles her more to give comfort.
~Sam smiles as she hears the news, She then tought about how rising little ones would be quite intersting giving what was going on and the fact that most of them where quite new here. She smiles at Avara and her son~ " This is a joyess day indeed, congats to you both. however I would let me spill the news to your father."

Skyfire grins at the thought of pups running around. Ooh, more tiny playthings. Hopefully, they won't get into a much trouble as you did when you were little. One of you was enough. She smiled to show she was teasing. She expected them at one point to think about starting to raise a family. Though it was sooner then she had expected, she couldn't say that she was surprised. As she heard Sam talk about breaking the news to Neko, she couldn't help but cackle at the thought.
Avara grinned at her mother. Oh, I don't doubt they will be like Trovin and I. Which means you will have something to keep you on your toes. I know you've been getting rather 'bored' with how calm I've been lately. She winked, and caused Skyfire to choke back her mirth. Then she turned to Sam. And I hope that you will help in rounding up the small fiends. I want them to know their grandparents. I would rather they know their family, though I have been happy with the one that I became part of.

~Trovin blinks and smirks at both moms talking about him and Avara when they were little. He then blinks and smirks~ " I landed upside down in caves and on trees too. I'm sure that our childern won't be like that. with me helping them learn to fly."

Skyfire gives a belly laugh, falling lengthwise on the ground with her sides heaving with the force of her laughter. I can see you doing that Trovin! Oh heavens, that had to be too funny to see! She continued to giggle.
Avara smiled at her mother watching her fall over. It was good to hear her laugh. She seemed to be enjoying herself so much. She hoped that the children would have wings like their father. They weren't even thinking about the possibility of the children being like their mother and earthbound. But she didn't mind. She hoped they took after their father. She started grooming herself. It had been a long day, and she was feeling tired.
