Arcane let go and moved off the male keeping the fact he was blushing very well hidden. "I am away for what my mate enjoys, thanks very now, now get before I eat your tail for a snack!" He snapped watching the male leave before he looked over at Buck. He carefully walked over and sat down looking at him, but he did not lay down. "...you didn't have to say that. I know you'd rather have someone else...plus I've seen you flirt."

Buck looked at Arcane and nonchalantly spoke. "Didn't have to say what Handsome?" He stretched out making sure nothing was seriously damaged and rolled over onto his back to look at Arcane. "You've seen me flirt? That's news to me heh." He looked away for a moment. "Well then you know I can't change the past but I'd be willing to make a new future, with you if you think you could handle my light flirting and anything that may bite me in the butt somewhere down the line." He's actually blushing one might be able to see it if they were looking he turns back to Arcane. "Thank you for what you did, I really didn't know she was with him. And now you also now how it was that i happened upon your cave. I should have left he would have passed you by then." He truly looks ashamed, so many thoughts rushing through his head and emotions he's never known. Seems the sickness has left him shaken, or maybe it's the company.

Arcane sighed and smiled softly gently coming over and lay down next to Buck. "I wouldn't mind being your mate." He stopped and looked off. "I really don't care if you'd want to be with other people...no one has ever wanted me. Your the first person to even call me handsome." He muttered still looking away.

"Well then it's official." Buck rolls over and gives Arcane a very affectionate lick. "Others come and go, you and I shall go on forever." Now that he'd made the commitment Buck through himself into it one hundred percent. "And others were stupid not to see the real you." He again give Arcane a lick this one more comforting and reassuring before yawning. "It seems that all the activity has worn me out. I hope I feel better tomorrow." With that he yawns again and snuggles closely to Arcane.

Arcane blushed heavily to the point it showed on his face. He smiled then gently licked Buck slowly and gently. Before he nosed the pup in ot his side and curl up fully around him.

Arcane's lick sent a shiver through Buck's body but was too tired to make a retort or return the favor instead he let himslef be rolled over and sighed contently before falling asleep.

Arcane lay his head down watching the ill pup beside him until his lids closed. In the morning he rolled over slightly and pawed at the fur growling in his sleep. It was a strange playful growl one Buck had never heard.

Buck woke slowly when the previous day flashed through his head, a smile spread across his face when a strange growl caught his attention. He tried to roll over but the paws in his back stopped his progress. "Handsome, you awake?"

Arcane only growled in the same manner and rolled over sound asleep it seemed. He growled and muttered Buck's name rather lovingly before he relaxed fully. His nose twitched and his eyes opened as he blinked up sleepily at him. "whut?"

Buck snickered as he heard his name and full out laughed when Arcane spoke." Nothing Handsome go back to sleep." He nuzzled Arcane affectionately and gave him a soft lick across the maw and nestled himself against Arcane.

Arcane blinked then floated over again before he rolled ot his back and stretched. "mmmm, how you feeling?" He yawned and sat up fully still looking groggy.

Buck giggled as Arcane woke up. "Feeling much better today. Thanks to you." He too sat up but leaned forward and gave Arcane a not-so-shy lick. "Yes, feeling much better today."

Arcane huffed and tried to give a lick back but it was a rather sleepy one so he only brushed his cheek slightly. He smiled and nuzzled in to his cheek softly. He pushed softly and flopped over with a playful growl. "....what was it you where going to do to me?"

Buck smiled and bent down to give Arcane a leisurely lick. "Why don't I wait til you're more awake Handsome. Then I'll show you for the rest of the day." He had thought about grabbing some of that snow but decided to let Arcane enjoy waking up so he opted to just sit and watch the other doze.

"I-I am awake!" He protested then proceeded to stumbled up and around the cave. "i-I'll be back." He yawned having to use the bathroom. He was gone for a while and finally came back in fresh snow along his back. He seemed a lot more awake now.
