stafffighter Thats one reason I love CLAMP, they give you a simple story and add lots of layers. And it leaves it so open to speculation, it's fun to see other ideas on things.

My favorite is Tsubasa, but I'm slightly bias because my favorite series overall is Cardcaptor Sakura! Currently Tsubasa is everything I hoped for in a sequel and I'm looking forward to continuing it. Holic XxX however is really good as well. It's really random, but as people have said, somehow it ties into Watanuki learning about his abilities, relationships, and who he is. It's also giving him a sense of what people are like too. Maybe him understanding people will explain eventually why spirits are attracted to him?
ugh.. and I'm sorry, but I can't remember all the questions about the Mokonas and the two servants... but I think it's kinda like this...
(These are my ideas and you're welcome to have your own... I am still not positive if they are correct, but these are the conclusions I have come to through the first couple of novels.)
I think the servants were made by Yuuko and the Mokonas were of course created by Clow. Such powers and different ways of creating such beings probably weren't meant to mix. Both Yuuko and Clow are said to have massive powers, but they are very different.
The two girls most likely haven't met their purpose yet, but it took a while for the Mokonas to come to use as well. If you recall, Yuuko says she keeps items that she is given in order to let other's use them someday... such as the Mokonas. Eventually, like someone brought up, hitzuhen (sp?) brings someone to pick up such items. Someday, I'm guessing with Watanuki, the two servant girls will be useful. Already, it's been noted that they've been communication devices. However, Yuuko is also a very interesting person and had named them ... interesting... names... And I think somewhere... if I recall... she states that she couldn't get too close to Clow or something? I think she said something there... I could be wrong though....
And I agree fully... CLAMP is awesome and yet very mysterious. I can't wait til both new novels come out for both Tsubasa and Holic XxX (sigh... but it isn't until April and May... WAHHHHHHH!)

I don't think it was Yuko who couldn't get close to Clow, but Maru and Moru (sp) who couldn't touch Mokona. Or at least I don't recall anything about Clow and Yuko like that....hmm...
But that'd be really scary if Maru and Moro had lost their souls from an exchange w/ Yuko...

I like Tsubasa better than Holic, but I like Holic too. Yuki is so funny. lol "Or maybe liquor, OR MAYBE LIQUOR, OR MAYBE LIQUOR!!!!
