Kaida glanced to Myou and nodded slightly. She was right, you couldn't perfect what you already knew without help from others. Sitting down in the grass Kaida looked up to the sky and then to her surrounding getting an idea of what she had to be able to work with. After a minute or so she got to her feet and stared off into the distance.
Just staring off into the distance any person who wasn't trained in the ways of a nin would easily be fooled into thinking that the person standing there was Kaida. Now though she was already in the tree and picking a single leaf she let it drop to float down to her companion below. She watched it land upon her head and smiled slightly. She wasn't training very hard for the moment, but when the time came she would train hard. She couldn't goof off forever... She wanted to gain some ground and learn more skills.

I would have to say that you nearly had that seamless, best I have seen from a trainee in awhile, you know?
::she chuckled good-naturedly, balanced lightly on the balls of her feet on a branch behind Kaida::

Shojiro walked out to a large field and drew the twin kama from both hips,
twirling gently through his fingers and he got the feel for the weapons held loosely in his hands, just like the samurai wore their swords with pride and as their soul, he held his weapons in the same league, showing them equal respect.
He practised the kata he had learned from his father and grand father,
stretching back over hundreds of years, each one getting more intense
and causing slight bursts of wind from the force of the arcs swinging through the air.
He continued practising, unknowingly in front of the two women he had seen earlier in the street..

Kaida put up her hand to silence Myou as she spotted Shojiro. She whispered to herself, "He trains with my weapons...." She had kamas at her hips and as long as she had wanted to be a ninja she had only ever seen one other person use that style of weapon, her own mother. Reaching for her own kama's Kaida stayed silent wanting to see someone like herself work. Her eyes searched Shojiro for any technique that would be of use to her.
Slipping out of the range of visibility Kaida used her Touton no Jutsu to get away from Myou. Within a moment she was in front of Shojiro her kamas out. She gave him a sly smile and a look that was a challenge to him to test his skill and her own. She wanted to test her limits.
"Let me see your skill...." She was to the point as she held her hand out beckoning him to come forth.

::Myou smirked as she saw Kaida approach the other boy. The cat like girl watched with curiousity, her eyebrows raised, her arms propped against her legs in a crouching position. This would be a good chance to see the girl's martial skills as well::

Where most people would have jumped in surprise, Shojiro mearly stopped and looked up, flicking the kamas around and replacing them
at his hips.
"If we are to train, I will use the weapon I fight with, rather than the wepaons I use for training and for seconds.."
He reached for the long scythe on his back, and drew it, spinning it like a staff before ending the impressive display in a fighting stance.
Shojiro had learned that being very tall in stature and using a weapon
of such great length, it was best to wait for an attack and defend and counter, also leading his opponents into a false belief that his style and weapons were only useful from a distance, which simply wasnt the case...

::Myou frowned a bit, though there was no one around to see her less than smiling face as the two on the ground were otherwise occupied. She would have perfered to see the wo use similar weapons as it would have given her a better judge of kaida's skills. But she would wait to see how the girl handled it::

Kaida smiled slightly and swung her kamas round in a display of skill. Only one whom had trained with such a weapon since a very young age could do this without perhaps cutting themselves or hacking off their own limbs. She stayed away from Shojiro's weapon knowing that it wouldn't be safe for her to come close at all and besides her kama skills were best at a distance. She waited for him to make first move and when he didn't she swung her kamas out in such a way that it would come back round and catch on his weapon.

((Are your kamas on chains or something? They are only about a foot long each at MOST, and if they arent attached to anything, then you would be in close, sorry, just dont wanna write something and then have it wrong sweatdrop =_=' lol))

(heh yeah... they are hooked together on chains... maybe I should place that on my profile... but yeah... hooked together on fairly long chains that she has learned to control without cutting off her own limbs... redface sorry bout that..)

::Myou nodded her head slighty. It seemed that this girl would be full of surprises. So far she seemed to be a good choice, even if she were a bit young. A few more tests and then things would prove themselves for sure::

Shojiro let the first kama strike the top of the scythe before then pushing the bottom out to catch the chain of the second around the pole, then using the stick as a lever and pulling quickly and forcefully, hopefully disarming his opponent.

The chains slid through her hands slightly before she tightened her grip on it. She was no weakling as she held onto her weapons and even pulled back causing him to either hold on and nearly fall forward or let go and be disarmed. She wasn't going to let go and since she had gloves she wasn't worried about her hands getting pinched by the links of the chains.

Shojiro held on and was pulled forward, but rather than losing balance, he used the momentum from the forward force and pole vaulted behind her, pulling the pole out of the chains lock vertically, before attempting a
very quick sweep at her ankles from behind, even if not knocking her down, seeting her up for what he had in store..

Kaida would not play stupid dog and watch him just leap over her like that with his polevault like move. She moved quickly leaping forward to avoid her ankles being swung at from behind. She let go of the chain with one hand and spun round pulling with her other hand to bring her weapons back to her. She was quick to roll back up the chain returning the weapon to her waist. "Nice moves..." She planned on using alittle more fun techniques now, for the kamas weren't her only toys.
