It was longer than a few minutes later when Pilot awoke and then it was only because Nancy had grown bored and had, after trying to slap him awake and not succeeding, injected him with a dose of adrenaline. Gasping awake the first thing that hit Pilot was the unimaginable agony he was in. MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STOP! DEAR GOD STOP IT! PLEASE! Screaming and crying Pilot opened his eye’s only to be horrifically reminded that he only had one, the main cause for his agony. Straining in the bonds Pilot’s screams eventually died down but only because he tore his vocal cords and thus was no longer able to.

After a few minutes Pilot stoped all his struggles, he merely lay there crying out of his one intact eye. He was in too much pain, his struggles having hurt him further, to do anything anymore. Not like it mattered, he was tied down at Nancy’s mercy after all.

Nancy seeing him give in smiled and said in her sing-song voice whilst unstrapping him, “What a good boy you’ve been Pilot! I’ll let you up just for that and then maybe you could entertain me like you where supposed to, if you and that evil little girl had just done that at the begging then none of this need happen, including her death.”

Jezebel had just reentered her apartment from the basement when the phone rang. She picked it up, heading down the hall to her own room. "Hello." the girl said with a calm voice - she knew who it was anyway. That meant he'd gotten out. After all, Mom had no calls she was expecting and generally no one Jezebel knew even had her number.

"So did you finally get her?" the girl inquired as she thumped down on her bed face first. Mm, being dead was comfortable.

"Well yes. I'm a minor nemesis type villain. They were the big bads, so we had to team up to go against them. I read about it on a website my Aunt showed me the other day." the girl agreed. "Anyway, that's why heroes travel in groups."

"I'm minor till I have more than two minions and can take out enemies." she commented dryly. "Hey, do you have any comic books I can borrow? I heard they're good for research." The girl was content to talk to him - he wasn't being pompous or stupid, and was by far easier to get along with right about then. She was, in turn, also not being a snobby brat, so it was tit-for-tat

"Mm well I make myself seem a bigger threat. You'd do best to keep seeming like you aren't as big of one." she agreed, returning the roundabout compliments in kind. "No, nothing in particular. I don't know what goes on in half of them. I wanna see how the villains act."

"I'll come get them later. I don't wanna move right now." she commented, stretching out a bit more on her bed. "I need a nap that is not full of nurses and getting the crap kicked out of me."
