Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato - Ken chuckled. He'd have to talk to them later. But for now, he simply wrapped his arms around Sosay and held her close, while she talked about the alliances she made. He chuckled. "Busy month for you, I take it?" he asked softly. "Ah well, such is the life of the Raikage. At least you have someone like me to hang out with and forget about your duties...I just hope you don't forget too much and forget to run the village." he teased, tousling her hair a little. His smell hit her nose as she got close. It was something that could never be matched, once in a life time thing. Smiling, she buried her head into his chest. Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato - Ken laughed softly. He had definitely missed her in the last month...and now that they were older, well, things for some reason were a little different. When he was younger, for instance, he hadn't noticed that distinct smell she had that could only be described as...well, her. "Good to know I'm here to do something." he teased with a smile. It felt good to be back...he forgot about the training he'd need to do to get ready for the next Chunin exams (as he'd missed this year's). "You know your not here for that only Ken..." she muttered, trying her hardest to get rid of the smile but it remained. Catching his two different eye color's, Sosay's cheeks grew a faint red. He let her, for a little bit, then pulled back with a mischievous little grin on his face. "What would people say, if they saw the Raikage kissing some random Genin?" he teased with a smile. He knew she didn't care, and neither did he, frankly. They were about the same age anyways. Ken was only a Genin because he missed the exams. Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato - Ken smiled at her expression. He brushed a bit of hair off her face behind her ear. "I know that." he said with a warm smile. "For as long as you want me to be, I'll be your Genin." he promised, kissing her softly on the cheek, then on her lips. And he hoped that was for quite a while...yeah, he'd have a lot to worry about as he did missions and such, worrying about himself coming home and her still staying safe, but hey...life alone sucked. Laying her head against him again, she stared off into the distance, thoughts racing throughout her mind. How long would this position say with her? Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato - Ken stayed quiet for a long time, just holding her. He knew her position was dangerous...but that was okay. She was more than capable as a fighter, and could easily defend herself if need be. It was he he was worried about...quite a lot weaker than Sosay, he feared someone attacking him to get at her. He shook his head a little. That wasn't going to happen. He moved a hand slowly up and down her arm, looking at the pond just in front of them, and the fish that swam lazily inside. He wanted to suggest something...but that would wait a bit, first. “The only time you run out of chances is when you stop taking them.” [S]osay [U]chihaXXXXXAs the silence went on it gave her more time for escaping the real world and hitting her thoughts. That was until the sound of kids running by the Raite compound brought her back. The sounds of them yelling at one another brought back to many painful memories of home. Kumo may have become her new home but Konoha was her true home. Those days were the best. Her friends were always around to play tag or something and then her family was always there to support her. Huh... A supporting family eh? That must be a nice life now a days. Someone to tell you what to do and what not to do. Lowering her head slightly, she hid her face from view. She didn't want Ken to see the sadness that filled her eye's. Something had been taken from her that could never be replaced. His sudden movement snapped her out of it. Thanks to Ken's comforting ways, she stared out to the pond, one particular question coming to mind, and speaking without thought, "What's it like to actually grow up with your parents?" Sosay's voice was quiet yet showed a hint of sadness.{ OcC: }

But...she had asked. "It's...it's a nice feeling, to know you have people that always are there to care for you, comfort you, and support you whenever you need them...people that can answer any question or make anything better...people who'll love you no matter what." he said softly. "In many ways...I guess it's like having two of the best friends you'll ever have." he added after a moment. That seemed a decent analogy to him, as he found it hard to describe. It hurt her to know that she would never feel what Ken had just described. Her father being dead and unable to communicate with her mother. Leaving her without a family. All those things he mentioned gone for her, no chance of getting them back. "Your lucky..." she whispered in a hushed tone. She told the truth though, she would kill to have a family like he did. A mother that cares and love you and a father that's going to spend as much time possible with you. { OcC: }

Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato - Ken really didn't know what to say. He could never know what she was feeling, short of having his own family killed off. "Sosay, I..." he said softly. He held her close, trying to think of something, anything, to say to her, but he realized nothing he did say could help her. "You get to experience something close enough." he said softly after a moment. "You have a family in this entire village...everyone here is just like your family, not because you're the Raikage, but because you're like a sister to everyone-" except him of course, they were something more "-and because everybody likes you, and everybody knows that if they had a question to ask, or needed comfort, you'd be there for them...and so they're all there for you." he said, amazing himself and the author writing for him that he'd been able to come up with that. As she sat there in his arms every word seemed to play over and over in her mind. Sitting up she looked at Ken. "Your right in a way. There not blood rea.. well Raiden is in a way, being Uchiha and all, but we're all a big family that cares for each other..." she stated. A smile spread across her face as she wrapped her arms around his neck, basically tackling him into a hug and close to falling off the bench. "Thank you Ken... Ken Raite - Genin -- Raiton -- Raikou Hira -- Kumogakure no Sato - Ken smiled as his words sunk in. The reasons he had just stated were the reasons he'd been so annoyed at Kai for betraying the village...to Ken, who considered the villagers like his extended family (even Ukiyo), betraying one's village would be like betraying one's entire family, and that just didn't fly with him. She hugged him and he smiled, his arms wrapping tightly around her. He lost his balance on the bench and they ended up falling off anyways, lying on the grass on his back with her on top of him.
