What Fale had said surprized her, she had never heard Fale seem so sure of himself. Her eyes started to water a little but she pushed most of it back as she hugged Fale. No one had ever been as comforting as Fale had just been. There was more admiration for him now that maybe, just maybe, she could overlook his horrible outfit.
"Your the best Fale," she sighed. She meant what she said, there were a lot of things he had done in less than a day that no one else had done for her in her whole life.

Fale blushed, as Paige hugged him and called him 'the best'. He wasn't good at anything and he didnt have an ego to fill, so why was he the best? Yeah he helped her finish the dress by wearing it and just now he calmed her nerves, but that wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
"B-but I didnt do anything," he laughed nervously.

"Oh Fale, you did more than you think," Paige breathed. She knew better than to think, but Fale was such a great guy that she couldn't help to have a slight crush on him. They say to make sure you have a nice guy and not base them on looks and the only thing that was an eyesore were his clothes and clothes can be easily changed. She wouldn't admit anything to him or anyone just yet though, it should be longer before either of them took the relationship any farther.

Fale put his arms around her, but didnt question her logic any farther. Things were progressing really fast! He never expected to be on hugging terms so soon. The more time he spent with Paige the more he found out she wasn't just some pretty face. She wasn't like those fake girls, she was confident in herself and that was something he was lacking, but he liked it. He could be confident in anyone else but himself.

"Fale, what's your family like?" Paige decided to just ask instead of find out awkwardly. She knew it was a random time to ask but she wanted to get it out of the way since Fale met her brother. She wondered if Fale had some dark secret in his family but decided not to get her hopes up.

Fale swallowed a little hard, he wasn't prepared for Paige to ask about his family. Sure she could meet a lot of them but maybe he should introduce her to them after he told her about them.
"Well, I have a photobook in my room you could look at. It would be easier to have a visual." Hopefully she wouldn't take it the wrong way, though he was sure that she wouldn't. He wasn't the type of guy to take advantage of anyone.

Paige looked up at Fale and smiled, "Are there any baby pictures of you? I bet they're really cute." She gasped a little and hid her lightly blushed face in Fale's horrible shirt. It wasn't out of the ordinary to ask about baby pictures though, most girls love babies and thought they were cute, she was no exception.

Fale blushed lightly, was she calling him cute? He thought about it but remembered his mom always liked babies. He always seemed happier when he was around them and when Chou and Yui were born, Fale felt left out. Babies were cute and all but they took away all of the attention, so much that Fale had gotten jealous and didn't like either of his sisters. That was until his father started to ask Fale to help. Fale got to know his baby sister more and after had a better attitude towards them both. He knew that if he ever had kids, he would give them all the same amount of attention.

Paige looked up at Fale, was he mad at her? The silence lasted awfully long. Or maybe it made sound nosy? But she noticed his blush and smiled, was he lost in thought?
"Fale? It's ok, you don't have to show me any baby pictures," Paige smiled up at him. Even thought she'd like to see the pictures, she wasn't going to push it.

Fale shook his head to clear his thoughts.
"Hm? Oh no, it's not that," Fale smiled. "I was just thinking about when I have kids i'm going to make sure I play with them equally." He knew his parents didn't mean to and that babies need a lot of care but it still hurt to be left out.

Paige smiled, already a family thinking man. He wasn't a fish to let go of easily.
"Why were you thinking of something like that? she wondered. Did Fale's parents ignore him? Or maybe he had sibling and because of them he got no attention? Whatever the case may be, Paige felt the same was but she knew for now she only wanted one kid.

"Well, I was just remembering that my Mom really really loves babies," Fale said. "Not that I didn't get any attention but when my younger sisters were born I felt left out. I don't get to see my Mom that much so when I do get to see him, I want to spend it as a family." He didn't want to give the impression that he didnt get ANY attention, but what he felt that maybe his parents didn't know.

"I think all Mom's like babies," Paige smiled. She understood what Fale felt with his younger siblings, even though she only had HT, when her family got together, the youngest always got more attention. She nodded when he mentioned his mother, wait, did he just call his mother a "him" ?
"Fale, when you were talking about your Mom, you meant "her" right?"

Fale laughed a little,"Yeah, haven't met a Mom who doesn't like babies yet." He figured Paige must have gone through the same thing one or twice to know the feeling of being left out. His laugh faded when she asked about his mother.
"Um, well, no, Mom is a guy," Fale said quietly. Here we go, this was going to be fun to explain.

Paige took a step out of Fale's arms.
"You can't be born without a Mom," she said looking at him sternly. "A guy is NOT a Mom, Mom's are girl. the only way two guys can have kids is if one is your biological father and you just call the other Mom even though he had nothing to do with your birth, or your adopted," Paige went off on Fale without even realizing it. Why was she being so sensitive on the subject and so insensitive to his feelings?
"Fale, i'm sorry, I didn't mean to be like that," she looked up at him with pleading eyes.
