Kirla Looked Confused. She stood and Looked at Haru. "Haru?" His eyes were open but he was acting as if he was blind. "Haru are you okay." Her voice rose several octives in worry.

Haru blinked a few more times and turned his head tords Kirla's voice. "I...I can't see anything."

Redirecting her pounce she landed next to the coyote and looked over her shoulder letting out a loud growl. The coyote looked back and forth between the wolves. I am so very sorry....I smelt meat and I was just unbelievably hungry." The wolf bowed his head down to Kira, then looked back up fear rising in his eyes. Lilith let out a sharp bark. "There is nothing for you here. Get out." She snapped, crouching down.

Orexi sprinted through the forest, dodging every tree he could see, as he ran he saw 3 wolf-like figures."What are they doing here late at night?" Orexi whispered to himself as he stopped in front of the three.

Kari turned her ears, hearing the other wolf. "Someone's back." she said. "Cayote, normally I wouldn't mmind sharing, but right now I do. These are hard times. I'm sorry. Lilith, I'll be at the tree. You have next watch." Kari turned and went to the tree to greet the other pack member. She smiled when she saw it was Orexi. "Welcome back, Orexi." she said, then looked at Haru. "What happened?"

Haru tryed to stay calm, so that he wouldn't scare Kirla. "I can't see anything." He turned his head a little more, his ears twitching when Kari said the beta males name. "Orexi is here?"

Lilith barked at the coyote again trying to get him to run off. "Now get out before I tear you to pieces." The coyote growled slightly seeming to challenge the wolf. Lilith ran forward and bit into the coyote's leg. The coyote yelped slightly, and jumped back blood leaking from its leg. Its snapped out a growl again before running into the forest. Lilith turned around and walked back to the camp sitting at the edge of it. She looked over at their new arriving pack member, before turning her head to scan the forest.

Kirla looked up. She did scent Orexi. She sighed. "I suppose he is." She turned back to Haru and her Heart sank. They couldn't stand to have Haru blind. He was their best hunter. She stood and ran off. Tears were forming at the edge of her eyes as she disappeared through the trees.

Haru's head swiveled arround as he heard the sound of leaves rustling, and the scent of Kirla fading. He stood and carefully picked his way arround tree roots and rocks, following her scent trail. He walked rather slowly, feeling with his paws for anything in his path. It took him quite a while, but he was determined to find Kirla. He didn't like it when anyone was upset. "Kirla?" he called. "Will you please come talk to me? I'm completely fine. I can still hunt." He hoped that his words were true, but he couldn't be sure until he tryed.

Kirla heard Haru's words but she continued to run. There was a cliff just infront of her. She easily jumped onto A ledge just below the main lip. She looked down and Saw Haru picking his way through the bushes. Kirla threw her head back in howled in pure Pain and sorrow.

Haru's ears flattened when he heard the howl. He walked tords it, stopping at the cliff edge. He backed up a little and sat, howling with her. When he finished, he turned tords Kirla, and seemed to be looking straight at her. "Kirla, please, come talk to me." He whimpered a little. "Please?"

Kirla's eyes softened and she jumped down. She licked his Eyes softly. "I don't want to lose you." She whispered. She sat at his Right side her tail resting gently on his. "I'm afriad I already have because of your sight." Her voice broke slightly. She cared deeply for the whole pack but Haru ment more to her and she felt she had lost some of him because of his sight.

Haru pressed againsed Kirla's side comfortingly. "I'm not lost becuse my sight is gone. I'm still here." He licked her cheek and smiled a little. His bright green eyes were now cloudy, but they were fixed on Kirla, as though Haru could still hee her.

Kirla smiled slightly. Tears were staining her white muzzle with gray streaks. She licked his shoulder lovingly. "I know, but it won't be the same will it?" Her voice was low and sounded pained.
