Aki nodded and shot another watergun with Skye's electric attack. The scyther shattered the ice on it's legs and flew away from the pokemon, bowling into Mau as it fled, knocking him down, which seemed to frighten the poor oddish.
In it's panic at Mau's sudden fall, the oddish released a puff of purple dust in the air as a self defense.
"odd oddoddis!"

"Are you all ri-" Cal was about to help Mau up, when she inhaled the poison powder. She hack and coughed, falling to her knees and gasped for air, which only made it worse as she inhaled more of the poison powder. He eyes burned as she dug her fists into the ground in agony.
Skye rushed to her side. Cal was in incredible pain, she didn;t take it how most pokemon would. He narrowed his eyes at the Oddish, running toward it, his cheeks sparking for a thunder shock.
The oddish was hit by Skye's thunder shock and started to cry, running back into the grass.
This angered the Beedrill. He aimed his stinger at Skye, readying a vicious poison sting. The attack skimmed Skye, but hit Cal directly. She cried out in pain, a double dose of poison had hit her and she completely collapsed on the ground on the brink of unconsciousness.

"CAL!" Mau shouted as he saw the young girl go down. Aki charged forward, firing an icebeam at the beedrill to chase it off. The vaporeon stood on guard, glaring into the tall grasses as more things rustled uneasily. Mau wasn't even paying attention to the other pokemon. "Hang on Cal." He reached behind him and fumbled around until he grabbed his bag. Antidotes wouldn't work the same on a human like they do on a pokemon... but... maybe...
"Cal, I need you to eat this." He found a Pecha berry in his bag and put it to her lips. He hoped it would help even a little. Ease the pain, start counteracting the poison... anything that would allow him to get her to town. "Come on Cal, stay with me here."

Cal's scenes felt as if they were spinning. She couldn't quite comprehend the situation, the pair was unbearable. A voice did get through, and as order, she took a bite from the Pecha berry with much effort. She could move and felt numb and weak. The berry soothed some of her pain, but not all of it. The leg that got stung was turning a bruised purple color. She still cried out in agony with tears streaming down her cheeks.
Skye tried to keep the pokemon in the grass at bay but the attacks at his disposal. He ended up confusing most of them so that he could go back to Cal's side. "PI? PIKACHU! Pi..." He shook her arm gently but got no real response from her.

"Aki, Gear up." Mau said to the vaporeon as he slid his arms under Cal's knees and shoulders. The vaporeon rumbled a little, growling at the grasses before reluctantly doing as told. Mau didn't need to supervise Aki as he'd been tearing down campsights back when Mau was a trainer.
All his focus was on Cal as he picked her up. "Skye." He said and started walking, hoping the pikachu would follow him in case he needed protection.
Mau was beating himself up inside. He shouldn't have suggested Cal play the flute. He shouldn't have thought the training would do them both some good. It was a long way back to town now.
It was well after noon when Mau carried Cal into the small clinic in Jinko town.
