"Yes, you have told me that.." Heyen said, wiping at some of the empty tables. The floor was getting dirty with leftovers and some spilled drinks. Maybe he should think of hiring other workers. Dragon's Rest was always hiring but there was a lack of employees. Not to mention there other places in Sanctum are under construction so they were bound to hire as well. Their pay always went to their bracelets, and it was almost automatic. All Heyen really had to do was type in the hours worked and their pay and the finance would be funded automatically. Good thing since Heyen was not a business man.

"What differs between the both of you exactly?" Heyen asked, using a tray to pick up plates and cups.

Nate looked down at the nymph, and he just smiled to reassure her. "Well, it wouldn't be a problem. There's no way I would give up on you and I promise you I will help you with your powers. You're still growing so it's just about the time that someone helps you. And that person will be me." He stated with a reassuring smile.

The Skyway accelerated for a brief moment before coming to an abrubt stop. When the doors opened they were greeted with the wide greeny scenery of West Sanctum's Park. Nate walked out first and waited for Misora to join him. "But for tonight we only have an hour or less. I promised Mitsuki to take you home before it gets too late."

Misora smiled looking at Nate and followed him into West Sanctum's Park

Mitsuki smiled, "Well I'm part elf," she said then tapped one of her pointed ears, "and shes part tree nymph. I guess my father was a nature lover in more ways than one." She said with a small laugh, then walked to the tables and gave out the food and drinks. She took a few more tables orders and went back to the counter laying them and the trays down.

"If all of nature's beauty were as lovely as you I would not blame him; I would quickly get down on my knees and kiss your feet just for the chance to be next to you." Even though it was supposed to be a romantic cliche Heyen threw his head back in laughter. Some of the girls seemed to have thrown him some remarks about not speaking in such ways but it was part of his flirtatious nature and it often came in first nature.

"But I believe she'll be in good hands if Nate is educating him. It isn't well known but he's had good students in the past.." His voice suddenly changed. Both of his eyes lost the life he had before as he looked at one of the tables. "..Some good, some bad.." He muttered, breaking into another smile. "But he is a good teacher. If anything one of the best that Sanctum can offer."

Mitsuki laughed with Heyen after his poetic outburst."I wonder who hes all taught... and what they have in connections to Heyen for him to look so... empty. Mitsuki thought seeing the look in Heyen's eyes as he looked away. She smiled though again after he seemed to come back. "Well I'll still leave her martial arts training to myself. He looked a bit too shaken up after I threatened him to be that good of a fighter." she said with a laugh, and picked up two trays and gave out the food and drinks with a cheerful smile. She took the only table left with orders, for now, and returned to the counter. She layed the trays and orders down.

Fuyuki entered quietly and pushed up his glasses. For a bar it wasn't bad. He recognized Mitsuki as his neighbor, but decided to not make contact. Recognizing Nate, he decided it would be better to get a booth and act scarce. He didn't want to be caught drinking and smoking when he should have been picking up Haruki. It was close to impossible that Nate should know that, but it made Fuyuki shiver with shame.

He was glad when they had left, but the feeling of shame still lingered.

"Nate is more of an educator than he is a fighter, my lovely Mitsuki. His powers aren't meant for offense but to suppress the powers of others. In truth, if you were to start doing some radical kung fu on him he would be at a loss and unsure on what to do. Nate is not a fighter." Heyen answered with another beaming smile.

The dishes were beginning to pile up in the back. He had washed some but over time had began neglecting them. Whenever it got to it's slowest time - the morning- he would have to work quickly. It shouldn't prove difficult since that was about the time Mitsuki left and his only companion within the tavern was her.

His eyes lifted and he looked about the room as he gathered together more empty trays. It took a moment but he finally recognized a different rank of people within the tavern. "Well, well - if it isn't Fuyuki. Yo, Fuyuki!" Heyen called out, waving one hand while the other catered several trays. He had no shame in calling others within his own tavern even if it was unprofessional. "Hey, four-eyed gloominess, over here!" Heyen called again through the quietness of the tavern. Truthfully he was just trying to embarrass the man.

Mitsuki laughed at Heyens remarks. "Hmm, I didn't even noice him. I know that he has a younger brother too that he watches and takes care of, but thats all. She thought picking up the two trays with a cheerful smile. She went to Fuyuki's booth, "He won't stop until you go up there. Oh and I hope Haruki is doing well. She said before moving on to a different table and givin out their orders. She took another tables order still with a cheerful smile.

Those most powerful in my city,
Spend their days watching over their shoulders.

A figure with skin as dark as the night itself but short bright white hair walked into the tavern. Their crimson eyes hidden behind a pair of goggles with blackened lenses. The clothes that covered the figure were also black in color, the shirt appeared to have numerous sheaths for holding weapons, most of which were daggers, the most notable one however, was a longsword strapped across the back. The pants however, looked like just normal blue pants. As well as on them were two sheaths for yet another two daggers.

Standing at the door to the place the figure reached for a newspaper picking it up spinning it between their fingers as they did. “Decent enough place...” the figure muttered in a rather soft masculine voice. Heading towards a table, sitting down he placed the newspaper on the table in front of him. His right hand came up, revealing a gauntlet that was a mix of blood red and black fabric, the tips of each finger were clawed. The clawed fingers traced against the words of the headline Crime in Sanctum on the rise With a laugh he smiled and began reading it, paying no attention to the other people in the tavern.

Mitsuki say an unfamilar face enter the tavern. He looked armed to the teeth with daggers and swords. It reminded her of military school. She saw him laughing as he read the paper and thought it'd be a good time to take his order. She went to the counter and grabbed a menu after placing her trays down and went to the drow. She'd heard bad things about them but they couldn't be all that bad.

Mitsuki smiled cheerfully at the drow and handed him a menu, "Good evening. Welcome to the dragon's nest. Your a new face around here. I'm Mitsuki and I'll be your waitress. When you need anything to eat or drink just call out and I'll be over here soon. Is there anything I can start you out on?" She asked.

Upon hearing a voice the drow looked up and nearly spat at what he saw. Before him stood a female elf, clad in some green outfit that appeared to be more suited for dancing to their goddess under the open sun rather than wait tables. Turning his attention back towards the paper, his non-gauntlet hand reached down and pulled free a dagger, stabbing it into the table as he did. “Yes, I would like it if you went away you goddamn faerie.” He spat at the server, his gauntlet hand raising to wave her away.

Mitsuki scowled at the drow. "Who the hell are you calling a faerie?" She asked. At her and her mothers 3 month stay at a smaller town the other kids had taunted her calling her a faeire. Thats when her martial arts training began, less than a year later she was accepted into military school. In the mean time though she was often picked on. Being called a faerie still riles her, its a reminder of a time before she could defend herself.

Heyen's enthusiasm was quickly shot down when the moment he heard a thump in a table, and a rise of tension growing within his tavern.

He quickly moved his eyes from Fuyuki and towards Mitsuki and a male dressed in black. He beats Dark in every darkly manner. He mentally told himself but wasted no time in shutting everything around the tavern out of his view. Mitsuki knew that he disliked having his servers assaulted - physically, especially physically, and verbally. Heyen himself acted as the bouncer of his own tavern but knew of Mitsuki's pride. Elves were often as such. Unless if things got out of hand he would not intervene. Mitsuki's defense would be evidence for those who are witnessing not to, to be blunt, ******** around with his employees.

Looking up at the elf once more he smirked as he began to drum his fingers on the table. “I believe I did you little faerie ********.” He spoke as he again motioned with his gauntlet for her to leave. “Now, be a good little wench and bring me my order. That is unless it was to complex for your little brain to handle.” As he spoke this time he leaned back, his feet coming up to slam down onto the table. “Regardless, I will repeat it for you. I would like it if you went away you goddamn faerie” Unlike before, this time he added extra emphasis onto the last word, drawing it out longer than before.

His eyes then scanned the tavern, he made out two other figures, one of which was partly hidden in a booth off in the corner. The other, stood near the counter. The one behind the counter had a sort of feel to him that the drow could only roughly place. He had encounter people that felt that way before, but he couldn't recall where. Something to do with sexuality I think. Whatever, Faerie first, then the old man. he thought to himself as he looked back up at the elf.

Mitsuki continued to scowl at the drow. She was really pissed now. She plucked the dagger from the table and had it pressed hard against the drow's neck in a second, maybe two. "Listen here you vulgar little mole. I'm not a faerie. You see any wings on my back? I don't have any. I'm a half elf, not a faerie." She pressed the knife harder against the drow's neck drawing a thin line of blood. "If your not going to order anything off the menu then why don't you leave. I can give you directions to the eye doctor if you need some new glasses. I'd recommend it if your seeing wings." She said to him, the dagger wasn't moved at all from its position on his neck.

Growling loudly the drows right hand, the gauntlet one grabbed hold of the arm that was holding onto the dagger, his dagger, that was at his throat. “I suggest you move this hand unless you want it to be on tomorrows menu.” He spoke, digging his clawed fingers into her flesh to add seriousness to his threat. “Though, knowing you and your sick, twisted, deprived kind... you'd enjoy that.” Digging his fingers into the wounds a little harder he began to twist them ever so slightly.

With a laugh he smirked and tapped his other hand onto the table. “And my eyes are better than yours. So don't be playing stupid you stupid faerie wench.” Laughing he began to stand up, forcing the arm she was holding the dagger against his neck to rise as he did, which also caused his clawed hands to dig in once more. Although in doing so the dagger drew a little more across his neck.
