Velos hissed over Chael's head at the human. "I assure you it's me that he wants," he said. He actually felt quite pleased that Verdund was so envious that he had Chael. He greatly enjoyed kissing the boy in front of the prince and shot him a smug look. They took Verdund to a cave where he could stay for the night and warned the guards not to bother him. He huffed and smiled smugly at the prince's surprise and irritation at where their cave was.
Then they left and went back to their cave. Velos' mind was full of questions about the elf who had kissed HIS mate. He had finally identified the flaring emotion that had stirred when he found out about Chael's first kiss. It was jealousy. He was jealous of the elf! He wanted to be his mate's first kiss, yet he had that stolen from him before they met. As soon as Chael was lying on the bed Velos got on top of him. He growled slightly at the the scent of another male on his little mate.
"He got his scent all over you," he grumbled as he covered Chael's neck and face with kisses. "The elf,' he growled slightly,' when did he kiss you? Why did he kiss you?" He looked into Chael's eyes as he waited for an answer. His mind was already forming another set of questions for the small male below him.

Chael mewled at his mate’s kisses, flushing bright pink and tilting his head to the side to give the male more access. He purred pleasantly as his mate smothered Verdund’s scent and wrapped his arms around his neck. Just as he was relaxing, the questions came. He bit his lower lip and flushed bright pink, stroking Velos’ cheek affectionately. Where to start? He felt a bit… naughty for having kept anything from his mate. He squirmed cutely beneath him.
“W-well, the first time it happened was when I was thirteen years old and that was when he told me I was going to be his… bride someday.” he nuzzled Velos’ neck gently, trying to cool his temper. “It’s all in the past. I’m yours. All yours. You know that. He was a very good friend to me. His name was Luther, the elf prince. I cared for him deeply. But YOU are my mate.”
There had been numerous other kisses, one occurring a year prior to Velos’ arrival. However, he didn’t want to go into detail about such things. His mate was irritated and anxious enough knowing his mate had lost his first kiss to another and dealing with Verdund’s scent on the boy’s soft, creamy skin.

Velos liked Chael's reactions to his kisses and felt himself start to get hot. The smaller male was so cute. That was the only way to describe him. His eyebrow raised at the word 'first' and he growled at the word 'bride'. The small male's nuzzles and reassurances calmed him a little. That's right, Chael was his now and would always be his. The elf, Luther, wouldn't be kissing his mate again now that he and Chael were bonded.
"What do you mean the first time? Were there other kisses? Did you love him?" he asked. Instinct and his hormones were starting to tell him to mate with the white dragon now. Then the message would be clear to all. Chael was HIS.
As he was thinking this his pendant began to glow and burned against his skin. He remembered his promise to Chael. He wouldn't mate with him with out his permission first. That was the only think keeping him from devouring the boy.

Chael flushed bright pink and noticed his mates necklace was glowing. Something told him the male wanted to claim what was his-- his property. The boy was willing to give himself to Velos. After all, the man was his mate and his small body yearned to be dominated. “T-there were a few other kisses,” he stammered out, biting his lower lip and purring as he nuzzled the male. “Quite a f-few. But it never went further than that.”
The man’s question about love caught him off guard and he blinked in surprise. “W-well I care deeply for him. I loved him as a dear friend and did have quite a large crush on him, but I’m not sure you could call it love. Were he and I granted the opportunity to spend more time together, I’m sure I would have come to love him.” His eyes softened as he licked along the male’s jaw line. “But it seems you have gotten to me first. And I know I will come to love you because in such a short time I already care for you more deeply than I did for Luther in all my years of knowing him.”
The words were gentle and affectionate as he pressed his forehead to his mate’s. “You are my mate. I will be loyal to you. I will be faithful. I will adore and respect you. You do not need to worry about an elf stealing me away. Nothing can sever a dragon’s bond.”

Velos' growls turned to purrs as the jealous male was soothed by his mate. He took a couple of deep breaths to quell the rest of his anger. Then he smiled and nuzzled and hugged his little dragon.
"You're so cute Chael," he purred huskily. He used a claw and split open the boy's robe revealing the lovely body it hid. Velos slipped the robe completely off and let it slid to the floor. He ran a hand over the smooth chest and over a sweet pink nub.
"Beautiful," he said softly. He got off Chael and sat up. "Now you do the same to me," he purred. He wanted his cute mate to undress him. He looked into the blushing boy's eyes. It was tempting to just tear his clothes off, but he wanted to see how his mate would respond to undressing him.

Chael flushed bright pink at the request and sat up. Biting his lower lip, he began undoing the man’s shirt with small, shaky hands. The moment his mate’s body was revealed, his blush deepened. Eyes wide with awe, the boy ran his silky hands over the prominent rock-hard muscles, seeming almost mesmerized. Velos really was… perfect. He was so big and strong. It made the boy tremble with need.
Smiling faintly, he kissed his mate’s jaw line submissively, moving down to his collar bone and further. When he reached those chiseled abs, he returned to the male’s thin lips, enjoying a deep kiss. “Mate. My mate.” he whispered breathlessly. “I want to give myself to you, mate.” Eyes straying to the male’s pants, he began undoing them.

As Chael was undressing him with and adorable blush on his face, Velos leaned over and started kissing up and down his neck. The kisses turned the him licking up and down that silky neck and down his collar bone. He lightly bit the end, smirking.
"Good boy. I'll gladly make you mine," he purred. His hand wandered to Chael's chest and found those pink buds. He tweaked one. His mate was perfect. Sweet, innocent, and kind. The thought of what a wonderful mother the boy would be came to his mind and he purred with anticipation. Having children with Chael and watching them grow up together was a wonderful thought.
Then there was his mate. Being with him for the rest of his life was going to be a dream. When his pants were off and had joined the small pile of clothes that had formed on the floor he laid his mate on his back and got on top of him.
"Chael, you're mine. All mine," he growled with a possesive tone. It was a loving growl, not a visious one. Dragons often acted this way as they mated. He purred and nuzzled him.
"All mine," he said again.

Cailean reached up with shaky hands and touched his mate’s strong jaw line, leaning up to lick it again submissively. The growls the male made caused him to shiver with anticipation, knowing the larger dragon wanted him-- was ready to take him. Sweet purrs and mewls left his plump pink lips and he arched his back cutely when the male tweaked his n****e.
“Nnn…” he moaned, gazing up at the other with big blue eyes. They were filled with adoration. He was dizzy with lust. His eyes seemed to have grown cloudy. His pretty thighs parted for his mate, spreading wide. Flushing bright red, he pulled the other completely on top of him and kissed him passionately. His instincts were burning in the pit of his stomach.

He and Chael had an extremly pleasureable first night together. Velos, quite exhausted when they finishted, collapsed onto the bed bedside his mate. He rolled onto his side and pulled Chael against his chest. He kissed his head, pleased to find his scent firmly placed on the small male.
"You alright?" he asked his small mate. He waited for a reply and then fell fast asleep. He purred deep in his chest as his dreams were filled with he and Chael living happily with a little hatchling. Their hatchling.

Chael awoke the next morning to a gentle purr being emitted from his mate's chest. He giggled and licked the male's cheek fondly, sitting up in the bed. He truly was quite exhausted. His lower back and bottom ached something horrible and all he wanted to do was sleep. However, his curiosity got the better of him and he found himself sliding out of bed, hurriedly washing, and pulling on a tiny robe of fairy wing silk.
Biting his lower lip, the tiny blond tip-toed out of his bedroom and began wandering the vast hallways. he knew it was naughty to go off on his own. Instinctively, he also new he would probably be punished-- though not severely. He imagined such an offense would earn him a growl, a swat on the bottom, and a lecture if he did worry his mate.
About an hour later, he knew he was lost. Other dragons were beginning to waken and many of them, especially the young, un-mated dominants, eyed him with interest. However, no one would dare touch. He was, after all, the Prince's pretty bride.

Velos was completely zonked out. The warmth beside him was so soft and cuddly. The prince nuzzled his mate's head and his brow furrowed in his sleep when he didn't feel the boy's soft hair against his face. He tightened his grip only to find himself holding air. Purr stopping he opened his eyes and blinked when they focused on where his mate should have been. It was....empty. A slight growl escaped him. He hated waking up and his cute mate wasn't beside him.
He smelled Chael's spot to find out how old the scent was. He felt like a dog, but he had to know how long his mate had been away from his arms. He blinked again and sighed with relief. The scent was only an hour old, Chael couldn't have gone that far right? He got out of bed and pulled on a black robe with gold lilies embroidered on the sleeves. As he dressed he found himself thinking of Chael and if he was alright. Velos found his relief quickly deteriorating when the image of Chael lost, alone and afraid, in the castle some where. Then Verdund came into the picture and he and Chael started kissing..........
A snarl escaped Velos and he visiously shook his head. Chael would NOT do that to him. Chael was a loyal mate. Velos finished dressing and left his rooms to find his mate. The sooner he found his little white dragon the sooner his worries would cease. Though if he did find Verdund with his hands on his mate he couldn't guarutee that the human would leave the encounter alive.
Velos began his search for his mate. He asked the unmated dominats he spotted in the hall if they had seen his mate. Those that answered yes quickly told their prince which direction, sensing Velos was in no mood to daudle.

Chael wasn't quite sure how it happened, but eventually he found himself at one of the main entrances of the mountain caves. he sighed contently as the crisp mountain air tickled his face, stepping closer to the edge. He had no intention of changing without his mate around.
However, he was forced to do so when two enraged dragons came thundering out of the cave-- roaring and hissing in a rage. To avoid being trampled, the small blond yelped and threw himself off the ledge-- transforming midair. He shot a glare at the two rough-housing young dominants, shaking his alabaster head in irritation. "Watch where you're going next time, idiots!" he yelled, flapping his pretty wings furiously.
One of them-- obviously not thinking right in such an elevated state of aggression-- growled dangerously at Chael. "Keep your mouth shut, submissive. You may be the Prince's mate, but that doesn't mean I won't teach you a lesson."
The boy blinked in surprise, scoffing slightly. Shaking his head in irritation, he turned to leave. His main goal was to find the entrance to his and Aroas' cave. However, what he didn't expect was for a row of sharp teeth to close around his tail. The white dragon yelped-- big blue eyes widening in shock as the larger male headbutted him in the stomach.
What happened next shocked even Chael. A roar of shock and rage escaped his lips-- followed by a round of fire.

Velos looked around, his brow furrowed with worry. He had followed the others' directions and was standing in one of the halls that lead outside. He let out a small growl of fustration. Where was his mate? As he was standing there an enraged pair of dragons barreled down the cave passage way, straight for him. He quickly got out of the way, not in the mood to get in a fight that wasn't his. Which he knew he would if he got in their way. Dragons at their level of anger didn't think clearly.
Once the two had passed Velos continued on his search for his mate. He was about to turn down another passage when he heard a roar of shock and rage in a familiar sweet voice. Whirling around he ran for the entrance to the out side. What greeted him both amazed and enraged him.
First off there was a male dragon with his teeth sunk in his mate's tail. Then there was the last of the fire pouring from his mate's mouth. Velos felt a surge of pride and happiness. Chael had came into his fire. However he didn't linger on the happy news long. He was too busy becoming pissed at the dragon biting his mate. With a loud roar he jumped off the edge of the cliff and transformed in mid-air. Growling loudly he surged up into the sky in a few beats of his great wings. He flew straight for the male biting Chael.
Then he did something that would no doubt horrify his mate. Opening his mouth wide, he lunged for the large dragon's throat and clamped his teeth down into the soft flesh. The male dragon let go of Chael and let out a strangled cry of pain. Placeing one clawed paw on the male's chest, he pushed and dived for the ground. He slammed the male down on a near by ledge of rock. Velos bite down harder, crushing his his throat. After holding him like that for three minutes, he raised his head and roared loudly.
The male beneath him looked up at him in terror. Velos looked down at him. "Appologize to my mate, now," he snarled. The male looked at Chael, struggling to talk.
"I-I'm...........sorry L-Lord..........Chael," he gurgled out as blood poured from his neck wound. If Velos had bitten any deeper, the wound would have been fatal. The dragon was lucky Velos had let go.

Chael was appalled by his own mate's brutality. He was shaking like a leaf as he landed next to Velos. However, his first instinctual reaction was to lick the blood from his love's snout and nuzzle him, purring affectionately before turning his attention to the fallen dragon. "It's quite alright. I know you weren't in the right state of mind," he whispered gentle, leaning down and licking the male's wound until it healed from his saliva.
He lifted his head and sighed. "Thank you, my love," he whispered, big blue eyes looking up at the larger dragon. He leaned against him slightly. His mate had done what any dominant would have-- he saved him-- and for that Chael was grateful. He felt a warmth settle in his heart for the larger male, knowing Velos would always protect him.
The fallen dragon, relieved to have been healed, stood shakily and lifted up his wounded wing where Chael's breath had struck. For a second, they all blinked at it in shock. Sure, it looked as though it had been badly burned. However, their were ice crystals hanging on the scales.
"What on Earth..."
