(Trying to make my posts longer. It's not always that esy, though. And if you want my character's fear, just check out her weaknesses on the character profile. Her bio is also a good place to find possible fears.)

Jayna tugged at the collar around her neck. "Kinda obvious, ain't it? Wouldn't have these collars on if we weren't Immortals, now would we?" She kept eye contact with Jansen, not blinking an eye. That was the way she'd been taught. Show your strength. Don't look away first. "Don't think I should tell you who I am. Not sayin' I don't trust you, but...I don't. And anyway, even if I did have any info, I probably wouldn't tell it to ya. The cells just opened on their own, and I've only been 'awake' for a li'l while anyway."

Amelia Reikart
What the heck is going on here?!

Amelia's footsteps abruptly ended at the sight of a guard, dead. Shock, disgust, and confusion mixed on her face. As before, the sight made her want to hurl. But unlike before, she coudln't stop it. She turned to the wall as she hurled, supporting herself with a hand. She didn't realize that further down the hallway, Jayna, Jansen, and Kaileigh talked amongst themselves, their voices only secondary in her mind at the moment.

((i shall try to increase post size so prepare yourself, and kaileigh fears crowds, heights, extreme hot and cold temperates, and small inclosed spaces just in case you don't wish to turn back))

"I'm Kaileigh, Kaileigh Noriko," she said not liking his cold eyes locked on them. It gave her the greatest fear of moving like when she was younger and walking along a narrow path on the mountains where the mountain cliff was to one side of her and just the open air on the other. One wrong move and you'd fall way to easily. That's pretty much how she felt with this man staring at her, one wrong move and she was history. "And it's just how she said the doors just opened on their own."

Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger”
Oh, chucking lumps... niiice.

The girl replied with what Jansen could only class as either insolence or impoliteness, but considering the situation her response was relatively normal.
"I see... It was just a question, I know as much as you do, and you two being immortals as well was just the most probable explanation, you could easily have been regular humans." He replied. The other girl seemed less confident than the talkative one, she was stepping back, where as the talkative one was trying to stare him down like a wild animal, she obviously has some training in protecting herself, too bad it was the wrong kind of training for this situation.
"Anyway, I'm not an enemy... So you can stop trying to show your dominance over me as if I'm a wild cat, I'm not an animal after all. And as for not sharing info, that's understandable... But, the more info I know, the more I can help you, you need to learn fast who you can trust, and faster who you can not." Jansen broke off from his little speech at the sound of vomiting from behind him. This was probably someone he couldn't trust. He turned nudged the guard on the floor.
"He's not dead by the way, injured yes, but he is still breathing." The words left his mouth with a sort of uncaring you would hear from an exterminator clearing out a nest of wasps. Carefully he stepped over the body and began to walk towards the woman, the putrid smell of stomach acid getting stronger with each step, figuring she might know more about all of this than the girls. If this woman did know more about the situation then there was a chance she wasn't going to give anything over without a struggle. His shoes clicked audibly with each step echoing through the corridor over the sound of chaos from the rest of the building before coming to an abrupt stop a few metres away from the woman to keep her out of his power, she didn't look like the type of person that deserved what the guard got.
"You, I will not bring you any harm if you cooperate. I want you to tell me what's going on here, why was I imprisoned? And if I was locked up, why am I now free? What is the current situation..." He wouldn't hesitate to grab the woman if she tried to flee, but, that's only if she chose to.

(( @Shiloh thankyou~ I wont use the fears to attack you, I just need the info to make some of my posts make sense (^_^) And thank's also for starting to get bigger posts, the bigger the posts the more to reply to after all~
@SKBCT An easy way to increase post volume is to add some description to the environment or emphasize/comment on things from the post you're replying to and stuffffss 3nodding ))

Kay Georgiy
Not what I was expecting...

As soon as they had managed to escape the cell area, Kay found a suitable bin and proptly threw up in to it. After a few seconds, when she was feeling better, she looked up at Kagura with a sad smile on her lips. Not as strong as I thought I was. How do we get out? I don't know. But first thing we need to do is find a way to get these collars off without exploding. So we start room searching till we find what we need." It was the best thing that she could think of, but it seemed to be the best option. Opposed to exploding, any option was good. Moving over to the nearest door, Kay opened it hoping to find anything that could be used to escape. Instead she found a broom cupboard. Closing it in disgust, she paused as she thought of a few things. Opening the cupboard again she lifted one of the brooms and snapped the head of it off leaving herself with a makeshift spear. Snapping another one for Kagura, she handed it too her with the first happy smile since they had started speaking. "And now we have weapons. Just in case." Her spear in one hand, Kay moved to the next door and opened it as well....

(Thanks. I don't always think of stuff like that.)

Jayna relaxed, but only a bit. Kaileigh seemed to trust this guy, but Jayna still wasn't all that sure. But he was an Immortal like them, so whatever he did, he would at least be on their side. When Jansen turned and walked back down the hall, Jayna followed him, beckoning to Kaileigh to come with. It wasn't the best idea to split up. Not now in an unfamiliar place. Jayna's boots made no sound in the metal corridor, unlike Jansen's, but it wasn't like anyone would have heard her footsteps anyway over the chaos. She stopped just behind Jansen, wrinkling her nose at the corrosive smell of vomit. She had heard Jansen asking the woman on the floor what the current situation was, but it couldn't hurt to be careful, and for all she knew, the woman could be in league with whoever had trapped them here. For that matter, so could Jansen. "Who's this, Leutenant? Someone you know?"

Amelia Reikart
Why do you ask such things...?

Amelia let out a shaky breath. The sound of a male voice broke through to the front of her mind. She turned her head slowly, to see a man in a military uniform. But that fact was fleeting. She looked down at the man on the ground. Yes... There were slight movements of the chest, indicating life. She let out a shaky breath, then looked back at the immortal, and blinked at his question. She swallowed, then stood up, and spoke. "You were locked up... Because you are an immortal..." She cleared her throat, then spoke more clearly. "This facility is for the research of the DNA of those like you, to best benefit the mortals. As for why you are now free, it most likely has to do with the immortal who appears to have electrocuted himself..." She shuddered at the thought of what she had seen behind the welded-shut door.

Kaileigh sighed Jansen didn't know any more then they did and as Jansen and Jayna moved towards a woman that wasn't a prisoner, Kaileigh was left with the unpretty sight of the fallen guard. Taking a couple steps forward to follow Jayna she could see clearly that he was still breathing but looked a bloody mess. Her heart felt sorry for the guy. She waled on ready to get the sight of the guard out of her mind as a new worry came upon her. Jansen seemed like an awfully cruel being and the last thing she wanted to see more of was the poor women now caught in his path ending up the same way so she hurried forward.

Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger”
would at least be on their side? Maybe. Cruel? Yes.

"Girls, Don't come any closer... My power, it's not...Well lets just say you don't want to end up like the guard. And no, she is not someone I know, I do not believe I have met her before." He said holding his hand up towards them as a warning. Truthfully though he couldn't really care less if they ended up like the guard, but they could be useful later so a warning was needed. Jansen turned to the woman as she began speaking, she was an employee of facility? Why help them then. Jansen knew better than to question help, never look a gift horse in the mouth as they say.
"Thank you, now for one more question, a rather important one... Who's side are you on..." Depending on her answer, Jansen might have to render the woman unconscious. As he waited for his answer Jansen went over the information he received.
"Because we're immortals... Clearly the mortals don't see the down side of immortality do they..." He thought.

((now thats some better posting razz OK, I'm off to bed. I'll reply to whatever in the morning XP ))

Jayna caught Kaileigh before the girl could do anything foolhardy like throw herself in front of Jansen to protect the woman. "'Sokay, K. We're not gonna hurt her. We got the information we were looking for." She looked over at Jansen for confirmation. Jayna wasn't exactly sure what Jansen could do or what he was going to do next, but she didn't let that uncertainty show through in her voice or her gaze. "Isn't that right, Lieutenant?"

Kaileigh felt herself jerk to stop because of Jayna. Listening to what she had to say. Looking at Janya she believed what she said was true about not hurting the woman but looking over at Jansen made her think otherwise. Sure they were all ships in the same ocean but he had a way of going about things all his own and Kaileigh knew that his would be fulled with a lot more bloodshed then others. Just being around him felt like she was going to get knocked off a cliff. She sighed knowing there wasn't much she could do, "I don't think the Lieutenant shares your opinion."
PostPosted: Fri Apr 09, 2010 8:57 pm

Amelia Reikart
What are you talking about now?

Amelia glanced at the two girls before looking back at the man. She blinked at his new question. Confusion look over her expression. Which side? What was that all about? She almost didn't want to ask, but how could she respond truthfully without understanding the question? Swallowing, she opened her mouth to speak. "I'm afraid I don't understand what you're talking about... Lieutenant," she said while looking at the floor, adressing the man the same way one of the girls had.

Lt. Jansen Cygnar ”Fear monger”
*bzzzt* AAHHR! bastards...

The comments from the girl caused him to shed a cold glare in their direction, Jayna might not be prepared to harm, but Jansen would if needed.
"Kaileigh is right on this occasion, I don't share your opinion. If I need to, people will be harmed, but that's only if they need to be. I would rather not hurt innocent people such as this woman, if she is indeed innocent." The seriousness of his voice was clear in the sudden silence through the corridor, it seemed that most of the guards had either been beaten down or were busy chasing down other immortals. he looked at the woman, she was obviously more confused than scared and with her not knowing the nature of his question, it began to irritate Jansen...
"It is NOT a hard question... Are you going to help us escape? Or are you going to report back to the guards about the situation!..." The irritation was beginning to show on his face as it set in deeper, he was loosing control slightly, causing his 'Amplification area' to widen slightly just catching Kaileigh before the surge running down his nerves increased. Flinching at the pain coursing through his body, Jansen came back to his senses and quickly checked to see if everyone was OK.
"HGGGNN!... Sorry... I didn't mean to raise my voice, is everyone alright?" He looked at Kaileigh first as she had been standing the closest.

Amelia Reikart
Oh, this is something I can do...

Amelia flinched when the man raised his voice. She backed up a bit out of instinct. Then, when he let out a slight cry of pain, she couldn't help but glance at his collar. Looking over at the girls, a lump formed in her throat to see collars on them, as well. She could never see the point in those... She opened her mouth to speak, her voice coming out a bit shaky. "I could... Take those collars off for you..." She said, a tad quiet.

Jayna stepped back a bit, shaking her head to clear it. For a moment, she'd thought she'd seen something charging toward her, but there was no way that could have been real. "Yeah, 'mfine," she muttered. She saw the woman flinch, and she heard her say something about the collars. "What was that? You're gonna have ta speak up."
