((Wrong format Rogue. xd ))
Jinx nodded, not liking the idea of walking through the forest. Trees have always unnerved her, even though the forest is where she spent part of her human life, hiding out. Ah, the wondrous memories... She thought sarcastically, watching the ground rush by. She hated her human life. The things she did are what landed her in this war. The murder, the theft, the... everything. Stop complaining. She ordered herself. You can handle this. It's just a few days, no big deal. You've gone long in the woods.

Everyone is changing There's no one left that's real To make up your own ending And let me know just how you feel
[[Time skip!]]
Three days later...
"Here's where we land!" Silas called out. He kind of unofficially led all the demon warriors. He pulled into a slow dive towards the trees that became so thick that it was hard to see where one stopped and another started.
He landed at the edge of this line of trees and waited for the others to land. He looked into the darkness of the trees. Light was nearly blocked out by all the leaves. Only tiny pinpoints trickled through.

Creepy... Jinx thought as she landed behind Silas. The forest had almost no light. Feels like home. Considering she's lived underground for a century or so. A shiver went up her spine that she tried to hide. She had a bad feeling about this.
Shut Up, you wimp! It's just a tight clump of trees. It's nothing you haven't been through before. Quit whining and as like the scout you think you are! Some time's the brain could be cruel but it was something she needed to here. A little psychological pep talk never hurt anyone, anyways.

Silas waited for everybody to land and take a quick break before he raised his sword. "We begin our walk now. The sooner we begin, the sooner we get there," he shouted and began to march into the dense forest. "I hate not being able to fly," Silas mumble to Jinx.

"It's only for a little while." Jinx said, feeling the same way. She looked around nervously, feeling very creeped out. Seeing nothing, she still couldn't shake that feeling that they were being watched. Something was out there; she knew it. Her "scout senses" were buzzing. "There's something out there." She said quietly to Silas. "Can you feel it?"

To just about anyone else Silas would have replied with a smart 'It's an animal, stop over reacting,' but to Jinx, who's scout senses he trusted, he replied "Any idea what it is?" Silas trusted very few demons. Jinx was probably the only person he would feel safe enough with in a life or death situation.

Jinx shook her head, still scanning the darkness of the forest. "No... That's the part that freaks me out." She gripped her bow tighter, stressed that she couldn't even figure out where it was. Needless to say, Jinx was very tempted to fire an arrow into the darkness, even though she knew better.

Her feelings she hides, Her dreams she can't find She's losing her mind, She's fallen behind Evangeline had set up her camp and had even had enough time for a bath in the river. Snapping twigs filtered through the chatter of birds far above. Evangeline's small camp was still noticeable enough to be problematic if the sound was made by unfriendly people.
She tried taking as much as she could and stuffing it in the small space just under bushes. She could not hide her fire circle or where her tent was nearly finished though. She sprinted just over a couple of thorny bushes before hiding behind a tree. If her campsite was taken, she would be in trouble.
She can't find her place, She's losing her faith She's fallen from grace, She's all over the place

Acacia yawned and readjusted her wings irritably. "Why are we taking the long route again? The angels will be gone by the time we get there." She gazed down distastefully at her arms. "I'm a mess. Yech, I think that's dirt on me." She sighed. "You're probably sensing a Wild One or something dangerous like that. At least, I hope you are. A bit of dirt looks terrible on a girl, but dirt and blood together makes an outfit."

Mordecai had decided that the small lookout could be useful in more ways than one. If she truly had been an angel at one time, and believed such radical beliefs now, then she could possibly give the High Archangels clues as to what brainwashing ways the Wild Ones used. To shake the faith of an angel was a monstrous power. That being decided, she ordered the lookout tied and gagged. It was a long flight back to the Holy City, and she didn't want the Wild One to be a problem on the way. "I thought we wanted to take the whole city prisoner?" Mordecai sighed. That young angel. So innocent. So ignorant. "Our fellow brothers will be attacking in a day's time. Fear not."

They painted up your secrets With the lies they told to youAnd the least they ever gave you Was the most you ever knew Abby looked up at the angels as she squirmed in her bindings. "My city is strong. We will not fall to you and your brethren. I built my city and my people on never bowing to a side that acts violently. you've attacked me and my family without provocation. You are no better than demons are!" she shouted out with growing frustration. She could feel them coming loose, but not nearly enough to allow escape.
And I wonder where these dreams go When the world gets in your way What's the point in all this screaming? No one's listening anyway

Mordecai sighed. "I thought I told you to gag her," she commented to one of her angels. "But she's so little -" Mordecai struck him lightly upon the head with her halberd. He blinked and shook of the bit of dried blood that had landed on his head. "Just gag her," Mordecai sighed. "And make sure the ropes are tight."

They painted up your secrets With the lies they told to youAnd the least they ever gave you Was the most you ever knew Abby put on her little kid face. It was the one she had on while she drowned, pain and fear. She knew that despite knowing otherwise, she still looked very much like an Angel. "Please don't," she said in a very quite whisper. "What harm can I do if I'm already tied up? Besides, after how I died, I don't like my mouth covered. I don't know how you died, but I don't like remembering it," she said, looking up with her small, childish face.
And I wonder where these dreams go When the world gets in your way What's the point in all this screaming? No one's listening anyway

"We're taking the long way because the short way is in the air and that's a little too long of a flight to try," Silas replied as he looked around. After a moment his eyes widened. "Is that a tent?" he asked to no one in particular.

Jinx looked around in the direction Silas saw a tent. "I don't see anything, but you're taller than me." She thought about it for a moment. "A tent makes sense. That could be what I was feeling." It's inhabitants, more likely than the tent itself She thought as she started moving in that direction, following her instincts.
