"yes they are. but Isabella passed away along time ago. her brother still can't fill the gap in his heart that he had for his sister. he was going to marry her. their mother not so nice she was very cruel."

Melody looked at James and smiled sympathetically. "Well I'm very sorry. But why did he get rid of you?" She pulled her legs to her chest and stared at James curiously.

Melody nodded as she closed her eyes. She was feeling sleepy now... "It's alright, you should say what you think anyways." She said yawning a bit. The doorbell rang and she stood up slowly and walked to the door. It was the secretary from the blood bank. Four other men came in and out leaving boxes full of blood. She paid the secretary and shut the door. Melody walked back to her spot and curled up, slowly falling asleep.

Melody woke up, her body tensed up as she smelled something different, and looked around the room. Her gaze landed on the door handle. It was locked as usual. She relaxed a little and climbed out of bed. She got dressed in a victorian style dress and left her room. She walked around on the first floor, following the two strange scents. When she reached a beautiful blue door she smiled. "That's right! I got some new friends." She looked down the hall a little farther at a red door. "I wonder if James likes his room?"

Melody walked up to Toby and smiled kindly. "Excuse me, but who might you be?" She examined him, her gaze resting on his collar. So he was a pet? Where did he come from? Did he run away?

"What do you mean old lady?" Melody wasn't quite sure if maybe he went to the wrong place or not. She walked him to a couch and set him down. "Would you like anything to eat or drink?"
