I love growing up with the internet - My dad's a computer programmer, so I literally have been on the internet since its inception (it sucked in 1991 BTW - or rather it was great but truely uninteresting to a 10 year old)... But I remember the first time I searched for Ronin Warriors on the internet there was a whopping 5 pages dedicated to it and they were usually college student pages where RW was just one small dedicated corner.

Then of course was acquiring things pre-ebay -- I bought my first YST soundtrack off of a University of California - Irvine website - it had no pictures, just a very long list of SKU numbers and titles of albums (not what series they were from).

My first few purchases from ebay were pretty bad - every artbook I bought was in pretty bad shape but I naively thought they were the only ones available.

I did nab a few gems along the way - stuff I haven't seen on the 'net for awhile (sadly I had to part with my YST wall scroll to help pay for bills, but thanks to a YST community on LiveJournal I was able to get 125 dollars for what I had paid 25 for initially.)... Oh if I had money and foresight in High School...

One of these days my Husband and I will be going through our storage downstairs - we're drastically cutting down on stuff we don't treasure anymore/ doesn't go with our decorating scheme (which presently seems to be somewhere between the Bioshock and Fallout 3 universes; i.e. art deco, items from an actual fallout shelter, and things actually made from uranium and radium -- Science is fun!) and I may be parting with some items in the near future.

From what I remember...

I've got 3 CD's (but I heart them to pieces)
Best Friends (if I had to part with one this would be it)
Kimi o Nemurasenai [Won't let you sleep] ("debut" album)
Hana (a background music CD with a mini artbook by Mizuki Ken) - I swear one of these tracks was used in 1995 as the forecast music on the Weather Channel (because when I wasn't watching RW I was following tornado warnings...I'm a strange girl sweatdrop )

I have 4 "lami cards" with chibi ronins on them (all but Ryo - never could find him for sale)

a slew of artbooks in varying conditions (as mentioned in previous post), but I can only remember the ones I'd be keeping, 3 of which are books that feature multiple series..
2 of aforementioned books are my Mizuki Ken, and the third I forget the artist but the book is called "Nothing" and it took me years to acquire it but highly recommend it.
The fourth book is Samurai Troopers: Memorial Deluxe - and it's special on two counts - one it was my high school graduation gift from my now husband, and two it's not only the hardcover art book, but the whole "Deluxe" box set which came with a VHS tape.

Lastly, I have a cel of Rowen from the opening sequence, without a sketch. It's fun to pause the DVDs and exclaim I have that! (it's when he turns to look at the camera)

In high school I had two friends whom I made as crazy about RW as I was -- one of them had an baby sister and we'd show her pictures and argue our points as to who her favorite should be and why. finally she determined her favorite (to our surprise) was "TENTO!" omg it was cute! My friend would also call me up a couple times a week and make her sister get onto the other line and I'd hear "say super wave smasher...'supa wav sash-a'...say thunder bolt cut...'under bol ut!'"
Us? corrupting future generations? Never! ^_-
