Her father nodded, "Of course it is. I'm asking you to go with me on a journey that could change you life..." He said as he slipped a half dozen little scrolls into a one of a series of about a dozen pouches that hung about his waist under his cloak.
"I've cleared it with your Hokage. He is very understanding when the matter of money is discussed. I told him this is a long term engagement and your services where required further."

She nodded half understanding. "Alright then... Fine i'll go" she tried not to think about abandoning everyone that had taken care of her and leaving with the one person who didnt even know she was alive for quite some time.

"Very well. I have supplies and ninja tools in the back room. Take as much as you want. I've already vacated the throne. My replacement- someone chosen by the survivors- will be along shortly." He said, "I don't think they'll have any use for kunai and some of my seals." He explained with a coy little smile.
"The walk will be long but I have a friend which will make it rather quick. We just have to meet him at a pass about a day's walk from here."

My grandmother would use chakara scalpel and chakara swords and both are pretty usefull." she thought about the extended scalpel turning into a long chakara colored katana.

As they passed beyond the entrance to the temple-like palace he nodded. "I can oversee your training in that regard my dear. As long as you don't mind a little homeschooling- I can teach you what I know when we have the chance." He said with a shrug.

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki was here at last to make her... ugh... meal run...
The final stretch of the journey was actually surprisingly relaxing, she found the scenery nice and the atmosphere not as stuffy as she originally thought it was going to be. If it wasn't for the lamenes of the mission she might have actually liked coming here. Yuzuki got though the boarders with no problems, she explained that she was making a delivery from the Village hidden in the clouds and that pretty well got her though, they didn't really see anything with supicions when it came to what she carried... which was good because there was not going to be a hole small enough to hide in once they got a glimpse of her cases contents.
Burgers, soda and fries... why she ot'ta...
Now the problem was finding the damn place and the person who ordered it. God, if she wasn't wasting time enough already with this fresh genin assignment she was going to have to actively look for this... jerkwad who placed the order to being with. She saw no qualms about inserting this case and its contents sideways up this 'associates' backside....you won't wake up from.

Not too far into the modest village lies an equally modest bridge. Despite its relative simplicity, or perhaps, because of it, the surrounding area has a pleasant atmosphere. It looks like a nice place for a picnic.

I'm one Nightmare...
After a little bit of wandering around the village she finally got her barrings and came to a landmark that was on her written instructions of how to get to where this 'associate' was. The scenery did little to lighten the brooding girls mood but she wasn't about to just stop the mission and go back, she made it this far, though she did pick up her pace a little in order to find this associate... though... she had no idea who it was or what she was looking for, she imagined that she would eventually find who it was. Either through the process of elimination or just being right where the map said they would be at the time...
Curious... but whatever....you won't wake up from.

 There was enough shift in the shadows beneath the bridge for any ninja to be put on guard. The wriggling of the shade on the water stopped instantly, however, once Yuzuki was "in range."
"OOOOOOH THANK YOOOOOOUUUU, NINJA JEEESUUUUUUUSSSSSS!!!"
A rather familiar-looking man leaped out of the bushes behind Yuzuki, nearly pouncing on her to get at the briefcase she carried. He didn't actually take it from her, though, and instead settled for grabbing her cloak and shaking violently.
"YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE THE HARDSHIPS I'VE HAD TO SUFFER IN THIS GOD-FORSAKEN COUNTRY. IT'S NAMED AFTER SUSHI, BUT THE FOOD HERE IS TEEERRRIIIIBBLLLLLLLEEEEEEE!"
He hung his head low and sobbed.
"I ask for a decent sandwich and you know what they give me? RAW FISH, RAGAMUFFIN, RAW. FISH. MONSTERS, I TELL YOU! MONSTERS!!"
He continued to cry buckets while whining incoherently about wanting to go back to Sand Village.
Then he passed out from hunger.

I'm one Nightmare...
Yuzuki's eyes widened at the familiar voice and her heart started to beat a little faster. Her eyes widdened as she was pounced on by her... friend... yes, she supposed he was in a way a friend to her, she found herself wanting his approval and support. She exhailed slowly and opened her mouth to greet him but whatever was going to come out was cut off when she was harshly shaken, her stomach lurched and her hair became tossled all over the place. Yuzuki's right eye was wide while her left eye was clenched into a squint. She never known anyone ot actually have gotten so excited about food. She really didn't know how to feel, she was furious at having to make such a pathetic mission... but at the same time, she was happy that she was with someone who didn't judge her, someone who didn't care about what she did or who she was. he was one of the very few people that treated her like a person, and not something. Her eyes returned to normal and actually got a sparkle in them, something that she never had sense she was a child. Her face itself lit up as she watched the half ninja pass out from hungry. She gave a bit of a defeated sigh but her smile remained on her face. She squatted down, mindful of what she had on, and poked Kishi gently with her finger.
"Um... Kishi? Thats what sushi is, its raw fish. C'mon, why don't we get out of here and away from all the scary raw fish?" Yuzuki opened the case and took out the hamburger and waved it under his nose to try and seduce him to awaken, then she planned to lead him out of here and into the forest on the boarder... much like how a horse being lead by a carrot. Her eyes softened at him. "You know... we have some good sandwiches at Cloud too."...you won't wake up from.

It took a few minutes of poking and prodding and promising sandwiches for Kishi to respond with a rather pitiful whine. He sat up abruptly. Even without a clear view of his eyes, one could tell he was staring at that food with intensity.
"Then why don't they call it 'raw fish'? Oh yeah, 'cos then nobody in their right mind would eat it." He huffed, while following Yuzuki and the sandwich out of the village.
"Oh, Ragamuffin!" he looked up suddenly, "When did you get here?"
