jess_squared Aerillis jess_squared Okay, I'll start with some regular Jess pictures. If you guys want, I'll also post some of my geekier pictures from things in costumes. (I have a Jedi costume, Mara Jade costume, and Ginny Weasley costume. They're all custom made.) Okay, it is now 6 minutes of 3.. am, that is.. Therefore Jess must sleep and will be back later.. smile I love the fact that you roll Toshiba. What model is that? I have one of the new Toshiba Satellite L505D-S5983s w/ 3GB memory and 320GB HD It's annoying Toshiba Tecra A9. It's got issues... It's a business model, so it was built with back-door capabilities for remote administration in, well, a business setting. It's caused me much grief in the last year and a half. It's not a bad computer, and it's actually far better than my previous two laptops... I just don't like dealing with back doors. Oh, also, we paid to have them "downgrade" it to XP Pro from Vista since I have lab software that *does not* run on anything newer than XP.. (When the instruments cost tens of thousands of dollars, you don't worry about software keeping up with new operating systems.. razz ) The reason why we paid them versus me simply doing the "downgrade" myself was to ensure all the hardware components would be compatible under XP. Yeah, they're not. The onboard wired network does not work. It's incompatible with XP. I am lucky the wireless is fine. razz Oh well that sucks. I'm sorry to hear that. I had to use one of the back doors on my comp yesterday actually. My dad was pissed at me, and shut the internet off of my computer permanently. He apparently disconnected me from the network and set it up so I couldn't connect to one. So I shut down improperly, rebooted, got a message to run a system scan for problems (lol..windows 7, you are a dunce) and selected restore computer to an earlier state. Voila! here I am

Plugabugz It gives away a lot more then just your names and your picture.. and I don't even have a myspace or facebook account myself! No way you would be able to track me. So if you wanna be careful as you say you are, don't do this too often in the future. Photobucket would be a much safer place. Exercising care is important, but once you post anything online there are almost always traces. I've had an internet connection in my home since 1992.. I've owned my own domain for years. Way back when, you couldn't hide the personal info that came up on a whois search without paying a stupid amount of money for that to be masked. I don't go around publishing highly sensitive data about myself, of course.. I keep my Facebook filtered since I don't want every Joe Schmo who views my profile seeing everything.. But I've been online for so long now it's impossible for me to *not* have fingerprints left behind that are traceable at this point. smile Plus, I'm involved in enough stuff that use my name and image anyway you could find me even if I wasn't the one posting pictures myself. (Example - Conventions. I costume. People take pictures.. People post said pictures. There are a lot of pictures of me floating around these days.)

Alright, time for the one time baby footage of me. joseph_lans: Nice pic! You must be pretty strong. 3nodding Raptured Princess: Nice glasses! Where did you get the pink (or is that red?) shirt? Although, I'm not a huge pink fan, I've been wanting to get a pink shirt or dress lately. 3nodding

This picture is from a couple of years ago at Ceder Point in Ohio. I think I was 12 or 11 when this picture was taken. @Alustrial777: I'm not that much of a pink fan either. My favorite color is black. I got the shirt for Christmas. I think my stepfather and my mom got it at a Lifeway Christian Bookstore. Thanks for the comment on my glasses. I have new ones now and they are even cooler. You're so cute as a baby. heart

Uta Sumire SHIITE! SINCE WHEN!?!?!? I set everything to private! I didn't post it on photobucket for fear of someone taking the picture and saying "oh! That's me!" howww... I just edited my facebook. It doesn't give away anything, right? Nope it's much better now wink And I'd personally take it as a compliment when people would steal my pic and say it's them lol! But really, I can take the pictures of your facebook just as easy. Right now you give away not just the pictures, but also your name, age and location. Photobucket would only give away your picture. Seriously I dont care what people do with my pictures. If they are so very lowlife and rather be a copy then the original, then let's just pity them. Just be sure you never put any drunk and/or inappropriate pics on the internet and you're good ^^

Honestly, that was the only time I gave that away, almost no body else here (in the whole gaia world-thingy) has seen it. Oh, and also my mother doesn't want me putting my picture on photobucket as well. But she's just over-protective. But, besides that, whatcha think of the way I look?

I have no idea where to get one either.
