There wasn't much substance. It was pretty much really short like Crash Course with a lot of detail. And the tiny parts the L4D1 survivors played was a huge let down.
I loved it *because* it is short like Crash Course, only the level design is far more interesting than Crash Course.
Of CC, I loved the first map, hated the second.
And in The Passing, I pretty much loved all three maps, which is just
rare.
The interactions were *exactly* what I thought they'd be. Heck, they were more interesting than I thought: I never expected them to give out pills, medkits and guns. You have no idea how useful this was on Expert (The only Campaign Difficulty me and my buddies play).
The difficulty is not insane and rage-inducing. It's fairly even in all maps, with the second map's gauntlet being the only real hard event. And
how! But it never got the point in which everyone raged.
Except in that one game, but half of the team was TK'ing assholes who did you when you grabbed the M60. That's what I get from PUG's, lol

Oh hey, did anyone have the new uncommon ******** run away from you?
Because I saw a zombie survivor and I shot the crap out of it, and then it turned and started sprinting away from me.
For the record...
That's their gimmick. Besides the increased resistance all Uncommon Commons have, and all the candy that comes out when you kill them.
Yes, we made the Pinata analogy since day one. Get used to it.
You should see the ******** in Realism. They need a couple of well-placed shots close to/in the head to take them out, and after the first one lands they
sprint the hell away from you.
Fun times.
