"Pretty much wondering to tell you the truth, I've went to the plains and then crossed over to the mountain ranges so thats all I've been up to." he smiled.

He walked with Alona side by side, starting to look at the trees which was where she was looking at. His earrings jingled when he turned his head, he would have to get used to the noise still it was sort of bothering him but not to much to show.

"This Kanti, It seems I should meet her sometime then?"
PostPosted: Fri Feb 24, 2006 11:09 am

"Oh wow Cyrus, to the mountains, I haven't been there in ages it seems" Alona said with a smile. She had loved seeing the mountains, with the small cool streams and the high view. She listened as Cyrus's ears jangled as she moved, it reminded her of Kanti's new beads that she had braided into her mane.

"I haven't realized you haven't met Kanti yet, she is somewhat my adopted foal" Alona said with a flustered look on her face. "Lilly found her and brought her to the teepee and I as well as her, have been watching over her" she said with a nod.

Cyrus looked at Alona, "Seems to me that you've had quite a handful then, with a little one and all." he smiled. "I remember Zephi when he was a foal, quite shy at first but when you get to know him he can get pretty rambunxious. I remember one time at the lake a wolf had spotted us, a rogue and it tried to get him. I don't think it seen me, I ran him off after it recieved a few good kicks in the head." he snorted.

Cyrus hated wolves. He disliked there very existance and wished that they had never laid there eyes upon the world. His expression showed that as well.
PostPosted: Sat Feb 25, 2006 7:26 pm

Alona shivered slightly after Cyrus had mentioned a wolf. As much as he disliked them, she hated them, even the sound bothered her.

"I don't know what I would do if Kanti had been faced to a wolf, she would have tried to attacked it before it would even reach her. Kanti is far beyond shy, she doesn't backed down at all" Alona said shaking her head. It was almost impossible for her to keep Kanti safe for anything, she was always into trouble, running off, getting herself into places she need not to be in, but still Alona cared for her even if it killed her.

"She is far to independent for her own good" Alona said with a small sigh.

Cyrus smiled, "Zeph was shy, thats what I remember. The first colt I met was Lakota, he was shocked at my size. Used to pick on him for it. Now I can't he's almost my height." He chuckled, "I still have a couple hands on him."

What Cyrus didn't realize is that over the winter months he had grown a lot. Ge was 17hh and now he was almost 18hh he was 17.9 to be exact. He looked at Alona, "You care for Kanti as much as I care for all of my friends and especially you." He gave her a loving nuzzle. Cyrus wasn't a ladies man, but he was definatly a charmer and sometimes it got to the best of him.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 02, 2006 6:55 am

Alona smiled. "Kanti was never shy, bold she will always be, and as for heights she is at least one to two hands taller than me already" she said nodding. Alona wasn't a very tall soquili she only stood about 16.4 hh a little short for most but it never bothered her much.

"I really do care about Kanti alot" Alona said softly "and I care about you as well" she said returning the nuzzle he gave her.

Cyrus wandered with her for awhile and accepted her nuzzle gratefully. He felt so full when he was with Alona and he loved the feeling. Cyrus looked at Alona for the night was creeping up on them and they had walked probably half a mile or more. "I love you more," he said trying to get a love tiff started. He realized that was the first time he had said it, he rembered she told him that she loved him but he hadn't told her. He gave a playful love n** at her mane.

((Should we rap up this one and go rp in the herd?)

Alona laughed. "Nah ah..I love you more" she said playfully back as she nipped at his ears making sure not to tug on any of the earrings. She loved being with Cyrus, she alway felt happy, satisfied, and this warm feeling would fill her body. She always hated to part with him.

((ok thats fine ^____^ sorry it takes me a bit to rp my grandparents are in town (we don't get to see them much) so if I don't get on much it is because I am spending time with them ^__^))

"I'm afraid I love you more." he sighed and grinned happily. He was so excited he wanted to run. He nipped at her mane playfully and started to trot off as to race her. He turned back to tease her. He flicked his tail and nickered for a race.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 08, 2006 8:16 am

"Oh is that so" Alona said playfully along with Cyrus. Alona laughed at gave him an admiring look as he playfully tried to start a race. She decided to play a little reculantant in racing, but yet she had to surpress the thrill to race.

Kanti and Sundance

hanging gallow

Kanti stepped out of the small teepee to stretch her legs. It felt good to be outside for a change, or at least outside and alone without Lilly and Alona.

Kanti took in a deep breath of air and could feel the cold air rush to her lungs. Free... Kanti thought to herself. She was finally old enough to get away from Alona and Lilly's watchful eye. She shook her mane letting her braids beat across her neck. She decided that maybe she would go on a walk today, and with luck meet some soquili's. She rarely got the chance to meet any at all.

Kanti took off with a happily trot to the small valley where she had been with Alona before. She wondered who on earth she would meet there today.

Swampieestar
Sundance walked slowly out into the valley. Her bubblegum colored mane and tail flowed out behind with her light steps. She had always been free but freedom had always come with it's own troubles and Sundance was cautious of them all. Eyes and eyes scanning in all directions she became a bit more comfortable. She hadn't been in this particuar valley before slowly making her way completely from the shelter of the trees.

The large white mare looked at her surroundings and saw that it was safe. Her tail swished lightly as she began to trot. Her happiness was apparent as Sundance whinnied and continued her romp around the small valley until something caught her eye. The easily startled mare darted back into the trees from wence she came andonly stopped to poke her head from between the large trunks.

hanging gallow
Kanti stopped for a moment. Her bright blue eyes scanned the area, she could have sworn she had heard someone, another soquili here. Shaking her head after not spotting anyone, she began to wonder if she was starting hear things. Nevermind that... Kanti thought to herself. She was half sorry that no other soquili was there, but that was fine, she didn't mind having the whole valley to herself to run around in. Besides it didn't bother her to be alone.

Ingoring the constant inside nagging that someone else was there she began to trot out to the middle of the valley and gradually worked herself up into a full run. Letting her hooves pound their way into the ground as the beads of her braids beated roughly to the rythem, Kanti couldn't help but feel free. She little out a loud whinny of happiness as she continued around the valley.

Swampieestar

Sundance watched to grass sway with the soft wind. Her ears were pinned against her head in fright. Eyes following the movement of every creature she could happen to see her ears caught the familiar punding of hooves. The white mare panicked, her hooves stamping on the leaves which crunched under her wieght. A shape was coming towards her. It seemed to be a Soquili. Sundance could hear the rattling of beads coming from the other and it didn't help her image.

A small whicker escaped the frightened mare as she watched the other pass. Her ears slowly began to rise when she realized that the other had passed and missed her. Sundance's tail swished violently as she trotted slowly out of the trees. Her eyes traveled the trail that the other had taken. Now she knew that there were other Soquili in the valley and it positively irked her.

hanging gallow

Kanti slowed down to a small trot. She sworn she had heard something, someone else was there in the valley with her. Pinning her up ears as she called out to what appeared to her an empty valley.

"Hello.....is anyone else there" she said half hoping maybe she was going crazy in thinking that she had heard something. She was enjoying her moment of being in the valley alone, but then again maybe it wouldn't hurt her too much to meet other soquilis. Shaking her head making the beads rattle more (she loved to do so, she adored the sound of the beads) she trotted back the way she had came. Only to spot another soquili a little way in the distance.

Swampieestar
Sundance stopped and looked back. Her ears had picked up a call for someone. A softwhicker left her again as she gathered her courage and answered.

"Hello?..." Her soft voice was shaking in unknowing. Ears once again pinned to her head she slowly began to trot to the other. She heard the sounds of the beads and it chilled her. She had never heard beads before and to the mare it wasn't a pleasant sound to her. Soon Sundance saw another. "Hello." Once again her voice sounded louder in the valley. An electric chill ran up her spine as she watched the other intently.

hanging gallow

Kanti trotted a little closer the mare. To Kanti's surprise the mare she was looking was colored..funny in a way to her. She had a light pink colored mane, tail, hooves with a white body. What was even odder was the pink mark on her. Kanti stood for a moment gaping at her but then shook her head to from gaping any longer. Frist impression where good, and Kanti didn't want to make an impression that she was a completely idiot by just standing there and staring at her.

"Hello...my name is Kanti" she replied after a moment. It sounded odd to her, to say her name. She was grown now, but yet telling someone her name made her feel like a little foal again. Her voice to her even sounded like a foal introducing it self. Kanti shook her head again to hear the clashing of the beads to drive the silence away.

Manitou, Kanti, Orchu and Cyrus

lostlinx

Manitou eyes the stallion, whickering he jogs over. Lobes flicker as he tries to remember the stallions name from a brief introduction. "Cyrus correct?"

Draculas Babe
Cyrus nodded, "Yes and I believe your name is Manitou? Please correct me if I'm wrong." His ears perked forward listening to the greyish colored stallion. He flickered his tail anxiously waiting for his reply.

lostlinx

Bobbing his head lightly in reply he glances down at the stallions tribal art. "You seem to have gotten some new markings since I've seen you last." Shifting his weight he lowers his head for a moment, biting at an itch on his leg. "I haven't really jumped to get anything quite yet."

Draculas Babe
He nodded, "I kind of liked the idea after seeing some others get it done from a different tribe. Tasunke did a great job especially with these." he motioned to the earrings. "So how have you been since our last meet?"

hanging gallow
Kanti shook her letting the beads beat loudly against each other. She decided to head out in the direction of the valley hoping maybe she could at least get some form of a running excerise in for the day. As she reached the valley she noticed two stallions conversing and nickered them a greeting.

lostlinx
"I have been fine, I spent some time with a mare, named Ceylona, but it was obvious that even friendship was out of the question. A bit high strung if you asked me. I have mostly been moving about on my own." Focusing on the earrings he nods. "I like those, I think i would get those over the tribal markings. Who knows" Shrugging, he flicks his tail at a stubborn insect. "What of you? How have you been?"

Edit
Lobes flicker at the sounds of another soquili, looking into the direction the greeting came from he whickers a hello.

Draculas Babe
He chuckled as he called a mare high strung, he knew how that could go. "I've been pretty good," he replied. "Stopped over at Alona's awhile back." he smiled half heartidly until a new prescense was known. He nickered for her to come over and chat with them.

-Polar-

Orchu cantered through the lush meadow towards the clearing hoping to run into a familiar soquili. For the stallion had met many new soquili lately but had not seen many of his friends since he had grown from a colt into a stallion. As reached the edge of the clearing his eyes scannned the terrain before him. He caught sight of a few soquili gathered amongst themselves. Is that Cyrus? He wondered squinting from afar. Orchu flipped his mane and cantered over to the group; neighing in greeting.

hanging gallow

Kanti heard the nicker of welcome return and decided to great them. She spotted the black and white stallion with bits of green war paint on him, some odd reason he seemed familar, well not familar but at least someone she should have known from somewhere. But nevermind that she at least could introduce herself to them.

"Hello..I'm Kanti" she said as pleasently as she could. Yet to her, her voiced seemed oddly loud and unexpected. She wasn't use to introducing herself, acutally she didn't really meet many soquilis and it never bothered her to actually meet any.

She then heard a nicker from another stallion, yet this one's voice seemed familiar. Very familar, however she had never set eyes on him before, or not at least she could remember.

lostlinx
"Ah yes, I remember Alona, how is she doing?" Lobes face towards the thunderings of someone cantering towards them. Glancing away from Cyrus, Manitou focuses on the black and white stallion who seemed vaguely familiar. He whickered a low greeting to the stallion before finally focusing the the mare who had made her way over. "Greetings Kanti, I am Manitou."

Manitou watched as Cryus greeted the other stallion. Ah thats how he remembered the stallion, he had met him as a colt. Listening to all the conversations he glances up, seeing a lone mare he whickers a hello.

Draculas Babe
Cyrus head turned at the scent of another familiar Soquili. "Orcu?" he questioned himself, softly. As he looked in the direction it was a very grown-up Orchu. He reared excitedly. "Orchu! How have you been?" nickering to him.

He looked back to the mare who introduced herself as Kanti. "Kanti as in Alona's Kanti?" he asked, curiously. He had heard a lot about her and was wondering when he was to meet her.

(Crap just skip my next turn or w/e)

Valeria
((Hehehe... Spirit Sprite would feel a bit like an outcast, since he hasn't really met any of these others besides Orchu. Tania, his familiar, thinks other Soquili are afraid of her.))

Spirit Sprite walked slowly through the clearing, his ears flicking slightly to listen to the sounds around him. He stopped next to a small pond and lowered his head to drink, listening to Tania bouncing through the grass behind him.

-Polar-
Orchu snorted lightly as he reached the group of soquili. "Cyrus I thought that was you. My you look fierce with those markings." He smirked sheepishly. "I have been well I suppose; this warm weather certainily is a pleasant change." Orchu turned to the gray stallion and the brown and white mare. Bowing low he stated, "Hello I don't believe I have met either of you before. What are your names?" Orchu inquired pleasantly. Although he had met Kanti before he did not recognize her as the mare standing before him. Orchu then noticed a chesnut mare watching the interactions of the group. Nodding his head; Orchu whinned softly to her.

hanging gallow
Kanti was slightly over blown by the fact that both Mantiou and Cyrus knew Alona, she never really thought of her foster mother as somone who met alot of other soquilis before.

"Yes I am Alona's Kanti, or at least her adopted daughter, how do you know her" she asked curiously, she had yet to meet this stallion yet he knew her foster mother, did she tell him she wondered.

"It is nice to meet you Manitou" she said warmly as Alona had taught her to do.

Kanti watched Orchu, something about him seemed so familiar or at least his voice did but she couldn't place how or where.
"My name is Kanti, and it is a pleasure to meet you" she said as warmly as she could, not because of what Alona had taught her, but for the mere fact that she was curious to know who he was and how did she know him some where, it bugged her not to remember.

Draculas Babe
Cyrus looked at Kanti, similing. "I'm Cyrus her life long mate." he chuckled. His ears flickered back and fourth listening to everything. His emerald orbs looking at the new faces.

He turned to Orchu, "Fierce, you say?" he smiled. "I agree with you upon the weather, the winter months get dreary after while. Especially when the snow melts.

"Alona seems to be doing pretty good." he smiled as he replied back to Manitou. He lifted his hoof and pawed at the ground listening to the conversation around him.

lostlinx
Chocolate orbs gaze calmly at Orchu, understandable for the stallion to not remember the short moment that they had spoken. "I am Manitou, I believe I met you once when you were still a colt." Manitou smiled at Kanti. Lobes flicker as she mentions at she is the adopted daughter of Alona. "My, how this is a small world. Congraduations Cryus, and I suppose that makes you Kanti's adopted father. I am very happy for the two of you, Alona seemed like a very kind mare when I met her." Flicking his tail in thought he glances at the conservative stallion a few yards away. Whickering a hello he tries to encourage the shy stallion.

-Polar-
Orchu frowned slightly at Manitou. "We met when I was a colt? How unfortunate I can't recollect the occasion. Orchu's eyes flickered back to the brown mare. "Kanti?" He stated in disbelief. "Why I haven't seen you since you were a basket! My you have certainily grown fast!" He smiled warmingly to the mare. "It is such a shame I did not have the opportunity to meet you as a filly. For I have not seen Alona in ages; how is she?" Orchu followed Manitou and Kanti's nickers to the soquili that was slowly approaching the group; at once Orchu recognized the stallion. "Spirit Sprite! How are you?" He neighed cheerfully to him.

hanging gallow
"You and Alona are mates" Kanti said with a little bit of shock, this was a new thing to her. She had never met Cyrus before and Alona had mention a stallion before, yet she never paid attention, and here he was, her mate. Kanti as a little stunned... she wasn't sure of this new idea.

"I suppose he may be my adopted father" Kanti said responding to Manitou, however she couldn't imagine it. This was the frist time she was meeting him, this was overwhelming.

"Orchu?" Kanti said looking at Orchu when he responded to her. She scattered the fragments of her past into order searching for that name, then she remember, he was the small foal that had talked to her the one night she had tried to get out of the basket. She had felt bad for insulting him once, so this was who he was.
"I haven't heard from you since that night I was in a basket, I always wondered if I would ever meet you" she said happily.

"Alona is doing fine Orchu" she said with a nod.

Kanti watched as the other stallion approached. She didn't recognize him but yet Orchu did.

Draculas Babe
Cyrus looked at Kanti who seemed to be spazzing about the fact of calling him an adoptive father. "I wouldn't say adoptive father, for only we have just met. It really wouldn't be fair." he smiled winking at Kanti as he replied to Manitou. He watched Orchu for a bit he was still stunned on how big he had gotten.

JadeEye
How she found herself in these particular lands, she had no idea. She supposed that perhaps she had gotten the urge to see something new, something out of the ordinary, but that must have overriden her common sense significantly for now she was stuck somewhere that she'd never been. It would have been troubling if Ilianna was the sort to worry about things a trival as that; instead the mare had decided to take up some of the lovely green grass and continue to explore.

She hadn't run into anyone other than a rather -charming- (almost any stallion was charming in her opinion) paint stallion not long ago but he had declined her invitation for a leisurely walk. Ah well, his loss.

That left her to crest a slight rolling hill on her own, where she paused to take in her surroundings.

hanging gallow
Kanti shook her head letting the beads clash together, creating a small ringing sound. She loved that noise, to her it was like rain falling on the ground, musical in everyway. She shook her head again and started to head toward the small hill that had gently rolled out into the green lush valley. She didn't count on seeing anyone today, normally she avoided company. It wasn't that she didn't like to meet other soquilis, she just didn't really know of any whom had sparked her interest into actually holding a conversation with.

She continued toward the hill letting the beads ring more and more. Until she had noticed that she was walking toward anothe soquili. This one was a mare. She was white with black markings and she seemed oddly different to her.

Rapidashtrainer

" Hurry up Elan! You're slower than usual today," Thelerian called out to his friend. They were in a race once again. Though the painted stallion had finally decided not to wander anymore for the time being, it did not mean that he was about to get lazy. Oh, no! He was going to keep in shape and what better way to do it that racing against a hawk?

Lifting up his head the stallion let the wind run through his mane and almost let out a whinny. Almost because just then he caught sight of two soquilis not too far away. Stopping the stallion was just about to turn away when Elan zoomed past him and nearly rammed into one of the famales when he tried to stop. Great. Now I'll have to greet them and appologise for Elan... thought Thelerian shaking his head. How was he suppose to act among the two females? As far as memory served him, females tend to giggle and whisper alot when they're together...

JadeEye
From her vantage point, she could easily see the brown and white mare and hear the tinkling of the finery in her mane. Oddly enough, she didn't seem to notice Ilianna there until she was closer, which made her muse privately to herself. The striped mare was generally someone hard to ignore...at least, that was the case back with her home herd. It seemed damn near impossible for her to go ANYWHERE without her catching some attention or another. She wasn't vain about it; it was damn annoying in more than one case and it was rather nice to have been able to walk about this far without getting a lot of questions. Then again, her home herd had been mostly comprised of normal horse colorations...she was somewhat of an anomaly there.

"Hello there," she called down to the approaching female, her voice pleasant. "You have quite the musical talent among your mane."

She should have said more, but a dark blur caught her attention just then as it zoom by and startled her significantly, making her lose her train of thought. The mare lifted her head up and around, seeing the hawk apparently struggling to change directions. What was a hawk doing zooming across the grasslands like that anyway?

hanging gallow
Kanti had a slight startled look on her face. Who was this mare? And why on earth was she colored in that funny way? Kanti shook her head again as the beads tinkled together. She knew she had to be polite to the mare, or at least that was what Alona had taught her, but Kanti had the urge to not be.

"Why thank you I don't think I have met you before I'm Kanti" Kanti said pleasantly with a half fake smile on her face. Well she could at least sound polite, she thought, but maybe she didn't have to exactly think polite in her head.

She stopped for a moment as she watched the ball of feathers zoom close to her as it apparently was trying to avoid them. She snorted at it in slight digust and shook her head again. She spotted the familiar's soquili, a paint stallion with blue markings on its legs. She wondered who this was as well.

Rapidashtrainer
"I'm...really sorry...," Thelerian replied as he came cantering down the gentle slope towards the two female soquili. " Elan must have flown too fast to stop in time...,"

"You darn right I did not stop in time!" Elan sreech back as he perched himself on the stallion's back. " You're always stopping at odd moments and expecting me to read your mind,"

"I'm sorry Elan but...I saw these two mares here and...well...I don't plan on running into them... Eh...I mean as in...not literally.....that is," Thelerian explained fumbling slightly over his words. " My name's Thelerian by the way...," the stallion continued trying hide his fumbling ealier. The runes on his legs however, glowed slightly as if embarass.

JadeEye
Ilianna regained her composure, throwing the hawk a look of mild annoyance before regarding Kanti with a look of faint amusement and disappointment. Oh, so she was one of those kind, was she? Figured...one day she hoped she'd run into someone who looked a little different like herself so she didn't feel like a spectacle.

"Kanti...so now I've a name to put with the music maker," she replied, sighing a bit in resignation. "I'm Ilianna and I'm afraid I don't have any sort of lovely talent to go with it."

When Kanti's gaze turned, Ilianna followed it and saw what she saw; a paint stallion with distinct blue splotched of some kind running the length of his white socks. Well, that wasn't exactly 'normal'...and he was coming this way!

The banter between the hawk and the soquili made her grin, the feeling of disappointment drifting off as though it were no more than smoke in the open air, and she gave the stallion a friendly, if not somewhat coy, grin. He seemed embarrassed or flustered.

"No harm done, Thelerian," she responded nonchalantly. "I just don't expect to be divebombed by a hawk every day. I thought perhaps it was a normal, everday thing here and that my home herd had been missing out." She was, of course, joking with him, hoping to lighten the mood.

hanging gallow
Kanti wished she could have made her lip curl in digust. She wasn't already very fond of this mare, but that was no surprise. Kanti didn't really get along with anyone really. It wasn't that Ilianna color that made her dislike her, it was just the way she was or seemed to Kanti. Nevermind that, Kanti thought, just be polite or at least seem to be.

Kanti gave Ilianna a small smile. "It is a pleasant to meet you Ilianna," she pretending to be gracious. She didn't know what else to say, well at least the Ilianna was trying to be a little polite, Kanti shook her head again. It was probably her fault that Ilianna was probably a little piffed at her. Then again Kanti didn't know what she had done, maybe she could see throgh her fake politiness, Oh well Kanti thought.

Kanti turned her attention to Thelerian. He looked a little embarrased about the whole situation. Kanti couldn't help but give a little laugh to herself.
"It was no bother" Kanti said politely. Lord, she was starting to sound more and more like Alona everyday.

Kanti ingored the chatter that Ilianna gave to Thelerian, but turned her attnetion more to the hawk familiar. She was more interested in it then anything else.

Rapidashtrainer

"No,no....it's not really normal for a hawk to ram into someone," Thel replied shaking his head. "But...I'm glad no harm's done though...," Thelerian continued giving the two mares a glance. The one he was talking to had on unique markings while the other mare had many small beads carefully plaited into her mane.

Noticing that he was being watched, Elan turned to face Kanti. " Anything wrong miss? I'm quite sure I did not hit you earlier now did I?" Elan asked with raise brows. "Though if I did, it would be Thel's fault. He should not have stopped so suddenly,"

JadeEye
Ilianna didn't want to start a fight, but she really could tell that Kanti was disgruntled about something and was doing a poor job at covering it up. Well, no matter. Thank goodness another had joined their ranks or this meet-and-greet would be remarkably short lived. Even then, though, she felt as though perhaps she should move on.

"In any case, I'm glad no one got hurt," Ilianna said with a bit of a laugh to both the stallion and his familiar, turning to face them more squarely since Kanti seemed wholey disinterested. "I'm Ilianna...or Lia if you prefer."

Her ears pricked absently as she caught the murmur of voices further away, but none of it was distinct enough to where she could make out any exact words.

JadeEye
As much as Ilianna wanted to hang around and get to know the stallion, she felt a little antsy and disappointed that her meeting with the mare hadn't gone smoothly. She could detect a bit of hostility or annoyance from her and that made Ilianna uncomfortable. Generally speaking, she was more of a pacifist than a fight starter, so she thought it best to move on.

"Well," she began, pricking her ears and appearing as though everything were fine. "It was a pleasure to meet you both, but I'm rather hungry...I've been walking about for some time and if I'm not mistaken, I see an apple tree down the way, so I think I'll leave you both...er...you three to get a bit of a snack." She gave them all a smile, though it was slightly forced and didn't completely reflect in her eyes, and turned to canter off into the distance for a snack and some thinking.

Was she really that much of a freak? She didn't know why Kanti had taken her so badly, but she was fairly sure it had to do with her markings. Lovely...of course it had to be something she couldn't change.

As she went, she caught sight of the two stallions and the mountain lion, perking a little but not much. Perhaps they were staring at her for the same reason. She flicked her ears back and turned back to her destination, eventually becoming a white dot in the distance as she went to snack on apples.

Rapidashtrainer

Edit:

Thelerian stepped forward as if wanting to say something to the young mare as she turned to leave but held back. Though she looked distressed the painted stallion was not sure how he should react. Then finally mustering enough courage he called out. " It was a pleasure you Ilianna. Maybe we'll meet another day...,"

hanging gallow

Kanti's turned her head for a moment and nodded to Ilianna as she left. She felt sort of bad for not being very fond of her, but nevermind that.
Kanti turned her attention to the familiar hawk named Elan as well as Thelerian.

"No no you didn't hit me" Kanti said with an easy laughed. "I wanted to take a good look at you, this way I know the next time you come swooping by to keep an eye out on you and your dive bombs" Kanti said playfully. She was already feeling better now that the other mare had left. She didn't mind the familiar at all, at least he spoke his mind.

Kanti had realized that she hadn't even introduced herself yet. "Oh, I almost forgot, my name is Kanti" she said giving her head a small shake.

"Fine then." If he goes, I won't get so nervous... I hope. I hope he's just kidding about that other language thing...

Sterling looked back towards the females. He eyed them, until he came across the one who looked tiger-striped. Near to her was the white one with blue and red features.

Oh shoot, which one do I choose?

Sterling huffed and made his way towards the white, red, and blue mare, trying to look as confident as possible.

Whisper watched Sterling start off. "May the gods have mercy on his soul." Then he started trotting after him. "Don't forget my soul either, gods." His head drooped low as if he was expecting to get scolded.

Whisper frowned as the pretty white and black one had departed. He had never seen such a pretty coat on a mare before. The other female was lovely as well.. but he couldn't help but wonder it were possible to find a female he wouldn't find attractive. They all seemed so perfect to him. He wished he had Sterling's confidance. To be honest, Whisper found females to be frightening albeit beautiful creatures.

Kanti turned her attention to another soquili who was now apporaching. He was white with a blue mane as well tail. She was amused. He seemed as if he was trying to be confident in himself and almost made her laughed. She decided that she wouldn't mind his company as well.

"Hello" she said with a laughing smile as he came close enough to hear.

Hearing the mare's voice Thelerian shifted his atention from the white tigered patterned mare to Kanti and flicked his ears. She was obviously interested in Elan. Who wouldn't be? That cranky avian was frank and love jesting as much as Thel didn't. But the stallion supposed that was what made him and Elan bond in the first place...opposite attracts. He then noticed a white male soquili approaching them and stomped his hooves nervously. He hoped that there wouldn't be a fight as he had seen many males fighting over females before on his journey with Elan.Given a choice Thelerian would have willingly left if not for ELan who was busy talking to the mare.

"Nice to meet you Kanti," Elan replied flapping his wings. " I'm Elan in case my friend forgot to mention ( "I think I have...mentioned it...somewhere...," said Thel shaking his head) and I would never dream of dive-bombing a soquili; a fish or some other animal yes but not a soquili...unless of course it was unplanned for like just now...,"Elan said giving Thelerian a nasty glare.

Whisper caught up to Sterling and stopped near enough to the female that he could talk to her if needed. He took a moment to size up the male that was talking to her, or rather, seemed to have a hawk that was talking to her. The last thing he wanted was to get into a fight over a female he probably wouldn't have the courage to speak to anyway.

Kanti gaved Elan a laugh. She was amused by the hawk greatly.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Elan, and of course Thelerian introduced you" She said giving Thelerain a small wink hoping he wouldn't be so nervious.

Kanti heard another pair of hooves apporaching, this time it was a stallion compeletly white. He seemed a little shy, unlike the blue and white stallion that had appeared.

"Hello" Kanti said giving him a small smile, hoping that the tension would break between the stallions. She didn't want anyone to fight over her, she didn't even think she was lovely enough to be fought over.

Whisper blinked, mouth dropping. She had such a pretty voice. He wondered if all the females had pretty voices like hers. He needed something to say, something witty, charming.. something that would knock her off her hooves.. but what? It seemed every time he needed to rely on his mind, it went completely blank.

He had to settle with the basics and squeaked out a "Hello." He felt so foolish but at least it was better than sitting like a knot on a log which he would have done otherwise. He was glad that Echo was not here to see him make a fool of himself.

"Good day...to you sir...," Thelerian said giving the other stallion a slight nod. Then taking a step back (and trying to look as harmless as possible) Thelerian observed the other male. He seemed young and nervous when approaching the mare. Which comforted Thelerian. It looks like he wasn't the only one hesistant about meeting others.Elan however was another story.

"Hey! A newcomer! Hi!" Elan chirped and flew towards the stallion and began circling him.

Helaku eyed the small group of Soquili curiously. The mare was rather pretty, but she already had two males talking to her...he shrugged mentally. Why not talk to them, try to make some friends? Moving into a smooth, ground-eating trot, he approached, neck arched slightly but not enough to show himself as a threat.

Cyrus trotted around her and gave her a small nuzzle at her side to urge her forward. He whickered and he started to take off to the meadows getting a head start, however he didn't use it to his advantage because he was waiting for her.

Alona gave a small laugh, times like these she felt full of happiness. She galloped after Cryus, letting her mane catch the wind and she gave a small giggle of happiness.
