Rey was unnerved by so many strange people entering the tavern all at once, the town usually saw very few travelers outside of the occasional off trail caravan or lost adventurer, mostly as it was not marked on altogether many maps in the first place. You almost literally had to try NOT to get there to get there, at least, that's how he had gotten there, Running in blind madness. He winked at the girl he had been sitting next to before standing and retrieving his jacket and hammer which still sat hanging off of his previous chair. Obviously whatever the premonition he had before was accurate, being prepared to run for life was a good sort of preparation in his mind.

Jaque crossed his arms and sighed, grabbing Rey's arm as he hurried to get out of the tavern. "Hey, you. You just had the honor of being addressed by one of the greatest and most beautiful being around, and you don't even bother say something in response?"
Aiyana smirked as she stepped up behind Rey, tossing her blonde braid over her shoulder and narrowed her turquoise eyes at him. "Jaque, were you dropped on your head as a child or what? I'm far from being the 'greatest and most beautiful' being around. Though, I'd bet I'm the most powerful."
She stepped in front of Rey, arms crossed and eyes narrowed, "Jaque, just let the blacksmith go. He's just trying to make a livin' like the rest of us." Her gaze shifted to where Zane was at the bar and she said with a smirk, "But, him at the bar with Goldie over there- he's trouble." Jaque rolled his eyes and let Rey go following Aiyana as she approached Laura and Zane at the bar.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" Aiyana asked batting her eyes at Laura and Zane. "A princess and her slave? Or something else, eh?" She held out a hand to the both of them, "I'm Aiyana the fisherman. And my silver haired friend behind me is Jaque Quill, he's a merchant. We've been traveling together for a while now, but it has been only once since we have encountered someone with such a distinct appearance." She raised a brow at Jaque, allowing him to speak.
"We were heading to the Temple of the Water Walker, and were looking for anyone who might have further interests in the legends of the Gods and Goddesses," explained Jaque, pinching his nose. Why, oh why did Aiyana have to try to cause trouble wherever she went?

"Honor? Who would be so arrogant to claim it's an honor to be spoken as a child to by someone who I don't know, have never seen, and is a stranger in my town." Rey said quite loudly while thinking "Ah hell, there I went again."
He nodded at the lady before continuing. " I mean no disrespect. However, I may be a blacksmith, but I doubt that the swords you carry materialized out of thin air." he finished. It really was a bit disrespectful in his eyes, armor and weaponry to defend oneself with don't grow on trees.

"Honor?! Lady Aiyana is not only the most beautiful and cunning creatures around but she is the-"
Aiyana punched Jaque in the stomach to silence him and her turquoise eyes narrowed as she began to laugh. "Your right, my weaponry doesn't grow on trees-" she tossed her katana and half a dozen daggers to Jaque. Finally taking the whip off her belt and handing it to Jaque she said, "Very well. I won't use these black smith forged materials to defend myself. I don't need iron or steel to protect myself. How about a deal? As you can see my weaponry is of fair expense right? Well, I'll go up against you without using a single forged weapon. If you manage to put one scratch on me I'll give you all of my weapons. If not, you have to serve me."
"My lady..." Jaque warned. "Don't make unfair bets."
"Okay, fine," Aiyana said crossing her arms, smirking at Rey, "Cause me to bleed a single drop and I will not only give you all of my weapons, but I will serve you for a year doing whatever bidding you please."

Laura~ The Light Runner.
Laura sighed as she looked into the rim of her cup, seeing the reflection staring back at her, her once bright blue eyes now dulled from recent events. Her hair dirty and oily from days of not being properly kept, yet it still managed to hold it's vibrant blond hue. The small girl sighed as she took another sip, breaking the reflection. She couldn't stand to look at herself anymore, she just didn't get why people still saw beauty in her when she failed to see it. No, what she saw was monstrous; demonic.
Finally she was shocked when Zane had taken a seat beside her. The man had been 'guarding' her for sometime now, Laura was sure against his will. It wasn't normal for him to follow her inside such a place, a places normally full of people the light haired male usually stayed away from. So seeing him sitting next to her was... shocking to say the least. "How're you holding up?" his voice rang in her ear. She wasn't sure how to answer the question, should she be honest and tell him that she wasn't doing to well, that on the inside she felt as if she was going mad, or should she lie for his well being and say she is doing fine, and no need to worry? She could make his job hard, or she could make it easy as... pie.. Sighing she shook her head, looking back into the half emptied glass of water.
"I suppose I am doing as good as can be expected." finally she came by joining a lie and the truth together, sure, she was doing pretty well with the fact she has plithera of men chasing her, her family is gone, and she is now something more then human. But in the same instant she just wants to end it all by disappearing off the face of the planet, and to add to her dilemma, she was more then aware Zane wanted nothing to do with her, hell she didn't quiet understand why he hadn't killed her already. "If you're still tired I'm sure it won't be a problem to find a place to rest. So, what'll it be?" She knew she shouldn't of taken offense to the comment, but she was tired and cranky. Her jaw tightened as she looked at him, wondering if he took her for a fool, she was more then aware that they could find lodging here... But she couldn't sit still, it wasn't safe. "A bed sounds nice..." she said with a sigh, against her own wishes, she felt bad for Zane, he seemed like he had lived a life of luxury before meeting her. Another thing to blame on herself. If it wasn't for her, he would probably be happy...or at least as happy as he could possibly be. "Well, well, what do we have here." Laura looked up to the voice, a some what attractive woman, having a slight athletic build, and the appearance of a 'tom boy' in Laura's eye. " A princess and her slave? Or something else, eh?" Laura felt her face heat up, she wanted to smack the girl for her insulation comment, but knew better. She'd just smile and shake her head. Answering her question best she could. "No, ms. I'm Laura, just a traveler, and this is my accomplice... We are just passing through." then to answer the rest of the dialogue. "What makes you think w..- I have any interest in the legends?" Her blue eyes peered at the two, then at Zane, she was trying to read him, if any part of him tensed in a way that showed not to trust these two.. Then she'd blow them off and they'd go their own way.(Editted text color. It was...blinding...)

Rey sighed. "I once was a slave already, I do not intend to risk my life as one again" With that he walked out of the tavern ... outside he breathed a sigh of despondence, He really didn't like it when he got riled up, it got him into trouble more often than it proved the point, no matter how correct or noble it was, it really didn't strike upon people that to a blacksmith disrespecting the profession was like kicking a nice, happy, loyal dog. You just don't do it. He didn't have time for brawls with arrogant little girls, and even if he did have time he still wouldn't bother: Punching a brick wall gets the point through about the same.
The reason he didn't have time was that today he had made his last piece of weaponry for his journey, he had finished forging his sword to take in search of the blessings of the primary god of smiths all around the world: sure, water, air and earth were just as important in their own aspects, but Fire was what made a fine blade and an ironclad shield possible.

Zane had been nursing his drink quietly, listening to Laura and hearing the fatigue in her voice. He wasn’t sure if it was physical, mental, emotional, or all three. It was more than likely the three of them combined and was about to demand the bar tender give them a room when they were interrupted. For a moment Zane didn’t bother looking at the woman who had thrown the blatant jeer, and when he did look back, his crystal blue eyes narrowed. This was not a fight he’d want to get into, simply because it would be unfair. Unfair to her and to her bodyguard. So like a loyal dog waiting for a command, he didn’t speak and it was good that he hadn’t goaded her into continuing since her attention was soon riveted somewhere else. He felt what little sympathy he could muster as she challenged the man who looked rather annoyed by her arrogance. Was it her intention to have her head lopped off? She did not have the elegance or grace that Laura possessed that made her beautiful, but instead she was confident if nothing else. A bit hubristic, but that was a part of the charm he assumed. As it was, when Laura spoke Zane had to stifle a chuckle. She couldn’t have been any more obvious if she had placed a sign above their head, ‘Wanted for blasphemy’.
That was where Zane stepped in. Standing at his full height of 6’2 he made a point of looking down at the cocky woman and over to the other man that stood so loyally by her side, just an inch shorter than himself. “Guardian is more accurate of a word than accomplice.” Since being an accomplice is usually a willing endeavor. “And what of you? Are you a proud peacock strutting through the people with her faithful dog following close behind?” He asked with mock curiosity, cocking his head to the side and awaiting her answer. Zane knew for a fact that he was a demon and the tattoo on the left side of his face, not hidden as much due to the angel he had shifted his head to, showed that. He could hide the mark easily but hell, if he was going to be hated and feared while he guarded Laura they might as well have a reason. “You should be careful where you walk, little peacock, you never know who is going to pluck those feathers and add them to an ever growing collection.” Returning his head back to the angle it was at before, he ran a hand through his hair to adjust the strands as he turned and to Laura and shrugged. “I don’t see a threat from them.” Was all he said before going giving his attention once more to the woman and man behind him.
He watched the pair for a moment, evaluating and assessing, his eyes roaming over her body and then to the man’s before he sat himself back down, turned his back on them, and began to drink his water. Watching it intently he sloshed it around. Zane wasn’t one to turn his back on someone that might be rash enough to attempt slicing his throat, but it was another reason why he wore the collar. The metal buckle that strapped the thick leather protected him from swift knife attacks to the throat, and if they attempted from the back, they would still need to saw through it but by that time Zane might have them skewered with a thousand needles before they even had a chance to damage the leather.
And so it was with these thoughts that allowed him to relax into the liquid of his drink, wishing that it could have been the warm fire of brandy going down his throat rather than soothing water. It was in his musings that began to allow him to drift off and he almost did fall asleep on their guests but remembered quickly that if he did so Laura would be left unprotected and it would be rude. He mentally snorted. When had he ever given a rats a** about what was proper and was not? Never, that was when. And never was a long time ago. Zane yawned, picked himself up once more and walked around the two visitors to the desk on the side. “One room, two beds.” He said and the man was about to say something but Zane dropped ten coins onto the desk, seven more than what was required. Of course though there was a catch, there was always a catch with Zane’s ‘generosity’. “We were never here. If you say that we were… to anyone… whatever they did to make you squeal I can assure you I’ll make it ten times worse.” With that he took the keys from the man and was glad to hear the other hadn’t spoken a single word. Wonderful.
“If you decide to go with them that’s fine, but you said rest first, so we’re resting.” He said firmly, dropping the key into Laura’s lap. There was no room to argue with that tone and one might have even thought it would be concern for her well being that made him do such a thing. Of course if you asked him you might get b***h slapped in the face but then it would be your own fault.
“As far as I can tell we’re far away from any of my kind,” He brushed his fingers over the black tattoo for a slight explanation, though if Laura didn’t know his race by now she really was a dumb blonde and Zane should probably kill her just for that. “And there’s no one in the town that I can’t handle so we’re safe for the time being and I’d like to enjoy what little safety we can have, wouldn’t you?” Of course he didn’t tell her that he sensed more of her kind around, the ones blessed with the god like powers, especially since one was standing right in front of them, but that really wasn’t any of his business to share it with others so he didn’t.
Being a demon was bad enough but also sharing some of the strength that Laura had, it did balance him out well. He could count on her to be defensive and defend him from attack as much as she could depend on him slaying anything harmful that came her way. Zane focused more on offense and Laura defense so all in all, they worked. It was almost like a sick joke. They had both piled up enough enemies that if they rushed either one of them while they were separated there might be too many to kill or to defend themselves from. The gods sucked. Ah well. At least she wasn’t an eyesore and she kept her mouth shut on important matters like his past. It was a topic neither of them had gotten very into on both parts.
“If you plan on us coming with you then you’ll have to stay the night as well.” And as it was with Laura there was no room to argue. They could either wait for them or go without them. Either way, Zane didn’t give a damn. He just wanted to get to his room.

Laura~ The Light Runner.
Laura jaw tightened at his words... guardian... it didn't seem fitting. Before a year ago, she couldn't even think of a higher being sending someone to protect her. Seems as if you are just going to have to get over that problem Alaura. Looks like your stuck with him... then leaving her thoughts behind for a moment, she continued to listen to his arrogant speech. Sometimes she believed Zane would want nothing more then to fight the entire world of Rodin. So, reluctantly Laura rose to her feet, being quiet a bit shorter then the rest of the party, standing a slight bit shy of five feet.
She stayed at the spot in which she was seated, only going to step forward if any of the two make a attempt to attack her 'guardian.' sure. He might be the one sent to protect her, but why should he have all the fun? Laura what is wrong with you! You are beginning to sound more and more like him! she cursed herself and bit her lip, she needed time away from Zane.. At least being in a room meant a decent bath. He wouldn't follow her there, or so she had hoped.
Seeing that nothing had happened from Zane's arrogance. She smiled to herself, sitting back down at the bar, twisting her slender finger around the rim of her water glass. She had finished the rest of her water when she heard his voice once again, he didn't even take a moment to discuss this with her, as if he didn't have to. Then, he dropped the coins, and Laura felt even more humiliated, she was more then willing to pay for her bed. She looked at Zane, glad that just for once she could hide her emotions.
“I don't want to go with them. They are strangers to me, on their own quest it seems... I would only make their task that much more difficult..” she said flatly, she was also glad for her ability to think before she spoke.. It gave her the opportunity to stop her self from 'thinking out loud' or saying something regrettable; it also usually meant that she could talk her way out of a situation if it wasn't too major. As far as personality goes... Laura and Zane where opposites. Of all beings to send my way, they had to assign someone who I have to constantly bite my tongue around. sure, she should be grateful that she even had someone to protect her, but she saw it as a liability, why should she have someone protecting her... It was as if she was completely oblivious to the legends of the Gods, or even what her sudden powers meant. And she was.
“Do not speak another word about kinds until we are safely behind closed doors... “ she looked around, eying the rest of the tavern suspiciously. She wasn't comfortable with such talk so loosely. Once the keys where tossed in her lap she rose to her feet yet again, placed a coin on the bar for the waters and walked ahead of Zane, leaving him to say his final words to the 'peacock' as he had called her. She had no more room in her mind to hear his arrogance for the night.
With ease Laura found the room, glad to have the few moments to herself. She sat down on the farthest bed from the door, already knowing that Zane would most likely prefer the door, it was the only way out... and the only way into the room. Sighing she sat down on the bed, it was hard and uncomfortable, the covering being much like potato sacks, scratchy and uncomfortable. It reminded her of home. A sad smile creased her lip as she laid back on the cot like bed. Looking at the ceiling for a moment. Her mind being allowed to roam freely, which in her case wasn't a good thing. Her mind had a habit of letting the past repeat it's self in her vision.

Aiyana laughed at Rey's rejection of her offer, "A blacksmith afraid of a mere unarmed fisherman's adopted daughter."
She turned back to the bar in time to catch Zane's threatening words. Jaque tensed, arm reaching for his broadsword. Aiyana meanwhile just laughed, "A peacock?" Jaque turned to Aiyana, a wicked grin on her face as she heard, 'I don't see a threat from them.'
Grinning, Aiyana caught Zane's arm as he was about to follow Laura. "You need your eye's checked if you don't see us as a threat, but that is besides the point. Believe it or not, sir, I think we have more in common than you think. Just from your interaction with the girl I can tell you act as if you are bound by the legends of the gods and goddesses. And you are obviously a demon."
Lowering her voice she continued, "You may not see a threat from me or Jaque, but I see a threat from you- and the girl. I don't like to leave threats lay. We- and your mistress need to talk. According to Jaque I'm the Water Walker, and I not too long ago met a girl who burned her entire village down and walked through the flames unharmed. I'm beginning to doubt the legends more and more. And if it is true that I am the Water Walker and your mistress is one of the Goddesses, I think a truce would be wise."
Her grin was wide, while Jaque muttered under his breath beginning a prayer he grew up with-a prayer to the mudslinger no less, too-, "Great God of Earth, Gods and Goddesses, what have I done to deserve this annoyance? What can I do to remedy it?"

Zane watched Laura go up the stairs and was about to diligently follow her but before he could have the chance a hand was on his arm, something that made his jaw tighten in anger. He listened to her carefully, watching her speak as if he actually gave a damn. “You seem to have yourself under the impression I’m here to help. The moment she is dead, and it won’t be by my hand, is the moment that I am free and I won’t have to deal with your blundering gods stumbling about like children.” He snarled lowly. Physical contact from a stranger always had angered Zane. Always.
“And as for speaking with my mistress as you call her, that is her decision, not my own. If she doesn’t wish to, she won’t.” His eyebrow did go up a fraction when he heard about the young woman and the fire but quickly quelled it when she continued, speaking of truces. “And once again, m’lady, you assume that I want you all to succeed. My assignment is Laura. When she is dead then I will be able to do as I please.” From the tone of his voice and the look in his eye conveyed that doing what he pleased would not be beneficial to most. Without hesitation he used his free hand to peel off her fingers from his arm and turned to go follow Laura up the stairs.
“The sooner you die the sooner I can get on with my life.” He muttered up the stairs and opened the door to find Laura on the bed opposite the room. Huh. And this room didn’t even have windows. Easy to guard if attacked by few but cornered like rats if there were too many. Good thing the gods weren’t complete bastards. Zane or Laura could blast through the wall and make a quick escape. He didn’t speak as he came in, just silence as he slid the light silk scarf from his shoulders and took off his coat which was the only clothing he wore to protect his chest. Albeit it was strong material it just helped him be much more flexible when it came to dodging and or simply running. He tossed it carelessly to the bed and for a moment he was about to unbutton his pants but he remembered quickly that Laura was indeed within the room and once he dropped the pants since he didn’t wear any sort of underclothing, he’d be naked. Not a sight for her, or for anyone to see. The tattoo that adorned the left side of his face snaked into the nape of his neck before spreading in swirling branches down his spine.
“I’m going to shower but it’ll be in the public baths. Go ahead and take one in here, I won’t come back inside without your permission.” As beautiful and as tempting as she was Zane wasn’t in the mood. Which was rare. So walking out into the halls with nothing but his pants and shoes, he received quite a few appreciative looks from the women, one that he might’ve even taken up on the offer to go fool around since many eyes were offering it, but he simply just wanted to take a bath in peace. Was that so hard to do? Apparently so. When he reached the door there was no sign to label it as such, instead just the heat coming from the room. Zane opened it and there indeed was the showers and baths, all perfectly clean and tidy. No one was in there so he didn’t have inhibitions about taking off the rest of his clothes. The man had never liked looking at himself naked in the mirror. It was just another reminder that he was not human and never would be again. The black tattoo did not just stop at his spine but instead went even farther, wrapping around his lower back then swirling around his thighs, all the way to his toes. Pale skin could be seen underneath the mass of the tattoo but even though women showed interest to the good looking man, in all actuality, he hadn’t had sex since his 18th birthday due to the face that he was angered and ashamed of the marks that covered him.
Easing himself into the water was easy once he had located a towel to assure that he could walk out with that on without soaking his pants. The waters were calming to say the least but not hot enough. So he made it hotter. There were moments when the only time Zane could be called truly sane, not suffering from any sort of insanity thanks to the demonic blood that coursed through his veins, was when he was in burning water. He often didn’t even realize he was burning himself and if he did he grit his teeth and accepted it. It drove off the demon’s desires and made him feel human for a short amount of time. When the pain began to seer against his skin he got up and looked at the damage. Angry red marks covered his skin and he used the little healing magic he had gained from Laura to make them disappear. The moment he deemed himself sufficiently clean he shook his head to dry it off and wrapped the towel around his waist, picking up his clothes to drape them over his arm.
With a yawn he returned back to the room but remembered that he promised he wouldn’t enter without her permission but he didn’t feel like making her flustered in case she was bathing. Women. Always getting in a tizzy about a man knowing they were exposing themselves to the air. What lucky air. How many women over the years had the air been able to wrap around the naked form and hold them tightly when no one else could? He actually chuckled at his thinking and leaned against the door, waiting silently as he stared at the unsightly roof above him.

Smiling to Zane's response she shrugged it off and went to the bar and finally got her large draft of rum. Jaque sat down beside her and sighed as he drank his own draft. "What are you planning, my lady. I know that look in your eyes."
"I'm beginning to think that the other gods and goddesses are a threat to me," said Aiyana thoughtfully. "It is only a matter of time before one of us tries to rule completely. I don't want to get involved in the mess but I feel like I should. I want alliance from the demon and his goddess- particularly the demon. He needs to be taken down a peg or two. And I want to wash that vanity right out of him- and I plan to."
Closing her eyes she whispered her plan to Jaque who gritting his teeth agreed to join in. Glancing at the bartender she asked batting her blue eyes, "The room number?"
His answer was swift. Jumping off the bar stool and leading the way up the stairs she met Zane waiting at Laura's room. Crossing her arms as she looked over Zane she said, "Well, well fancy seeing you again."
Jaque stepped forward and said, "You see, my Lady, doesn't take 'no' easily. And as her guardian-"
"You aren't my guardian," interrupted Aiyana, "you are a pain in the a** peeping tom who claims to be my guardian-"
"As her future guardian, it is my responsibility to make her wishes come into fruition. I mean no offense, sir, but Aiyana is going into your mistresses room now to speak with her whether you like it or not."
Aiyana smirked, "So nicely said." At that her body changed into water, her clothes falling off her watery form as she disappeared under the closed door into the room that Zane thought was so well protected where the Light Runner was currently occupying.

Laura~ The Light Runner.

Laura -in a daze- looked at Zane as he entered into the room, how long had he been gone for? She let her eyes drift close yet again, hearing the ruffle of clothing and knew he was undressing, so as to be polite, she turned over on her side, facing the wall beside her bed.
After a short moment she heard him say he was going to bathe.. Nodding she rose to her feet to get into the bathroom that was in the room. In door plumbing wasn't all that great, so the bath was already drawn, and still hot too.. She sighed as she looked at the small tub, wasn't big enough for more then one person, luckily for her she was the size of a 12 year old. A small smile pursed her lips as she slipped out of her clothing and let down her hair. When her hair was up it didn't look very long, even though it was usually a rather thick pile of blond curl. The golden tresses fell mid waist in the front and in the back it layed in perfect region with her bottom.
Sighing as she tip toed into the water, it was much hotter then she liked, but it was good to be able to bathe in peace. So, closing her eyes she 'grinned and bared it.' Slowly coming to a seat in the tub.
Absent minded she reached over the side of the bath tub to reach for a wash cloth, quickly the girl rang up the rag full of the warm water that she now lay in and then she rang out any excess water, placing the warm rag over her face. Funny how a bath can seem to melt away all your fears... but they always return, do they not? she thought silently to herself as she slipped farther under the water. Sighing she began to go over past events, etching them to her memory for farther reference.
Then her mind slipped to other matters. Zane... She was more then aware that he had wanted nothing more then Laura to die, and at this point and time she felt more then happy to oblige, to bad she was against inflicting self harm. She sighed tearing the rag from her face. She felt like crying in all honesty, but she couldn't let the tears show. They where a sure sign of weakness. "If he doesn't want me around then why does he protect me at all? Why not just act like it is all overwhelming and let me die... " she whispered into the air. Shaking her head she began to use the rag to scrub her flesh ruthlessly. As if there was dirt on her she couldn't get off.
Then, to her surprise, a swirl of liquid began to take form of a body in front of her very sight. Her eyes widen as she watched the woman from before form from the water. She screamed sitting upright in the tub, allowing her hair to conceal what would of otherwise been revealed. "What is wrong with you people!? " she said in a tone of voice that was angry, but in the same only slightly louder then the tone of voice she commonly used. She felt her cheeks blush as she looked at the woman, realizing that her clothes didn't manifest with her. Her blue eyed gaze lowered to the water, noting she could give her redden face to the heat of the water.

Aiyana smiled as she took complete form, stark naked and calmly took two sheets from the bed nearby and threw one sheet to Laura, and wrapped herself in the other. "You're a woman, right? You act like you haven't seen the human form before. You're lucky I'm in my human form, if you freak out seeing me naked in my other form."
Sighing Aiyana shrugged, as she formed a toga with the sheet around her. "Nothing is wrong with 'us people' that isn't wrong with you and your demon sidekick. My name is Aiyana and I am obviously the water walker. I have already met the Blazer... and you are obviously one of the goddesses too."
She held out a hand to Laura, "It is my belief that it is a matter of time before one of the gods or goddesses tries to take claim of everything and conquer the others. My goal is to be able stop him or her when they strike, so I'm looking to make a deal with the others."
Batting her blue eyes innocently and sitting down on the bed, "You seem like a kind hearted soul- like I am. I want to protect people and stop wrongdoers. Why don't we work together to achieve that goal and keep the world from falling into the hands of a dark god or goddess?" Fixing her gaze on the girl she asked, "So, what are you the Goddess of?"

Laura~ The Light Runner.
She blinked at Aiyana as she spoke, as if everything was normal. She didn't want to tell the girl the only naked form she had ever seen was her own. So, she bit her tongue deciding that information was better left unsaid. When the girl tossed her the sheet, she quickly wrapped it around her tiny body as she lifted herself out of the bath, careful not to get the sheet wet. She held both ends of the blanket together in front of her, much like you would a towel.
"Water walker... Surely you don't think those stories are true, you are smarter then that I do so hope.." she said as she walked from the bathroom into the main room, looking at the beds, it was obvious Zane hadn't returned his jacket and scarf where still tossed carelessly on the bed. She gritted her teeth a moment, looking then to the door, she never heard it open, it was still shut tight as well. Though she could hear ruffling outside the door. Someone else was outside the door.
"Your friend came with you?" she asked, knowing that if it was Zane he should of already been in the room. Not unless he was so determined to keep his word about not coming in unless she said so. A few more minutes wouldn't hurt him any if he so desired to wait and see the results.
She stopped shy of the door and looked at the one who seemed to believe she was indeed the 'water walker' the thought alone of Gods being reborn into the earth was just silly and ignorant to Laura, though it made sense. Zane, who obviously hated her more then he hated himself guarded her against his own wishes. Stop with the crazy thoughts, Alaura. You are being juvenile. Their just stories told to you as a kid to get you to go to sleep. With ease that the world isn't all bad. And that good always over comes evil. She had enough of this girls blubbering. So, she opened the door to let her out.
And wouldn't she of known it, right outside her door giving a rather intimidating stare down to the other white haired man was none other then the one who claimed to be her guardian. "I'm sorry, Ms. Aiyana. I believe you need to seek some mental help. I cannot assist you or your friend here. So if you would please, " she nodded out the door, she wasn't in the mood for nonsense at this moment, she really didn't care if what she said was true, if she was this so called Goddess, it didn't mean a thing to Laura, all she wanted was to be able to find a new home and live peacefully without being chased around by mindless men.
"Good-night to you both." she said with a final smile and looked at Zane to help her rid them of these two unwanted strangers. They had their own problems, neither of them needed the added burden of joining them in their plans to save the world from evil.
