Kenji got up " yeah bye" he said and got up and walked to his next class just waiting until the day was over.

Alexa walked back to her apartment thinking about Kenji and what had happened today. But mostly about Kenji. 'What is with him? Why won't this bizare feeling go away?!' she landed face first on her bed and just laid there until 2:30 finally rolled around. 'What is today, Thursday? Crap I have to work.' she thought pulling on her uniform and heading down to the supermarket.

Kenji sighed and looked up at the clock " i am not staying here" he said and walked out of school and went home and sat down.His parents were gone for another few weeks like always.He got up and picked up his wallet and headed to the supermarket to pick up a few things.

Alexa was busy stocking shelves when she heard the door buzzer go off. She stuck her head out of the isle with her eyes closed and a giant smile on her face. "Welcome to Keisarage Supermarket! If there's anything I can help you with..." By now she had opened her eyes and saw who had come in. "Oh, Kenji. Hi." She said, her hands full of packages of Ramen.

Kenji saw Alexa come out the isle and he smiled as she greeted him.When she realized it was him he waved " oh hi Alexa you work here?"he said and shook his head "I never would have thought you would i thought you would work at an electronics store" he said and laughed " i do but its only on week ends" he said and smiled and looked at her " well its nice to see ya i am just picking up a few things for the house" he said and smiled. He had a list in his hand and a basket so he could carry the few things he needed to get.He looked at her " hey you need some help?"he asked.

"No, I'm good. The manager would get mad at me if I asked a customer for help." She smiled placing the ramen on the shelf and picking up an empty cardboard box. "So, shopping for home huh? Did your mom make you come down here as punishment?" she joked

Kenji looked down and shook his head but straightened up and smirked looking at her " oh no i just came down here to see the woman i love" he said and looked at her.

Alexa's smile faded as her face got serious. She stared at Kenji for a few minutes and then started laughing. "Aha! You're joking right?" she asked smiling.

A devious thought came to kenjis mind and he looked at her with loving eyes and walked closer to her " no i am not joking i never say what i don't mean,I love you Alexa" he said and grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes with a warm smile.

"Alexa! Come get this vegetable crate and restock them please!" the manager called from the back room.
Alexa blinked and shook her head. "i've gotta go, Kenji." she said thankful to be out of that situation.

Kenji laughed and nodded and started to walked around to get the things he was supposed to .He smiled still thinking of alexa and that moment truth be told in his mind even he never knew what he meant.

Alexa stood infront of the vegetables with the crate resting on her hip and stocking the veggies with her opposite hand. She stood thinking about what Kenji had said and wondered if it was true. 'impossible. we just met' that was the one thought that repeated over and over. but no matter how many times she tried, she couldn't convince herself that he was lying.

Kenji stood there in one isle looking at something before snapping out of it in his mind he was`telling himself "this was a joke " but no matter how many times he said it he couldn't shake the feeling like he should mean it.He kept saying that until he was done gathering the appropriate items.He stayed for some reason still looking.

Alexa finally finished unpacking the veggies and went back behind the register and took a seat, reading her book. But she wasn't actually reading. mostly just staring at the middle of the page.
