(( I forgot to specify Mock's attire, but yeah, it's the usual. I'll do it now. ))
A mission... Something like that, yes. Mock abstractedly answered to Alder. The Captain regained his posture as he said I cannot speak for the other seated members though. As you well know, I've been out of touch with the "Court of Pure Souls" during my stay here, as that includes my own Squad of course. He gave Alder a warm smile and a tap on the shoulder as he continued But I promise I'll find out what happened to everyone, as soon as we get back!
MockaDash turned around to face Hibiki, as he returned his compliment with a simple and graceful nod, his eye fully closed from the wide grin on his face. Returning his stare to where the Hollow used to be, Mock caught a glimpse of the last traces of Reiryoku vanishing along with its inherent Spiritual Energy. The beast's final words were no more than a dim echo fading away into silence. Three other figures approached him, from behind this curtain of remnant energy that lingered - Hinata, and two others.
The Captain was easily recognizable - if not from his Reiatsu - at least from what he was wearing. Same white hakama contrasting with the common black kusode, and same old blue scarf around his neck. The sunglasses this time were scarlet, partially covering the eyepatch over his right eye, as always. The kasa hat and flowered haori on top of his tattered 13th Captain one, not-so-common in Shinigamis - though emblematic in him - were also there. The only reason for not being able to instantly recognize the Captain, would be never to have met him before. This was true for at least two of the Shinigamis present there, but Hinata did the honors of the introductions.
Guys, guys!!! What's up with all the kneeling and stuff? Take a hint from your superiors... He jovially said to Asuko and Sayuri. I actually don't care much for that sort of things!... Not when it's directed at me, and particularly at times like these... He corrected. Lighten up! And sorry for that rough moment back then! It was impossible to do what I did without releasing some reiatsu eventually. I did tried to use as less energy as possible to kill the foe in a single strike, and make it as quick and painless as possible for everyone involved.

"From their 'superiors', captain?" Alder cracked up a bit at that one. "You know just as well as I do that I prefer to see myself on even terms with the other members of the squad in every situation but battle." He grinned as he looked around the group. Noticing Asuko's bad shape once again, Alder decided to extend a helping hand once again to the Shinigami.
"You do realize that it's necessary for you to leave to the fourth squad, yes?" He asked, not showing that he was worried, but it was noticeable in his tone. "I wouldn't keep you here much longer in your condition."

Suddenly, the fabric of reality itself was torn apart high above their heads, as if a cadaveric mouth had just opened wide and spit out a monochromatic male figure from within. The impression that it gave, was that whoever came out of that gaping portal, somehow left a bad taste in that "mouth", so it was violently spitted and the mouth quickly closed afterward. Tell me the truth now... The man spoke to the Shinigamis below. Did you miss me? A smirk was painted on his face. From the white robe covering his body from his neck down - obviously covering a hole somewhere on it - and the horned white mask partially covering his face, it was plain to see that the newcomer was an Arrancar. Probably not so easy to figure out, is that it wasn't the first time that this Arrancar had a rendezvous with the 13th Squad. Unless of course, the senior officers present there, remembered him. The battle at your Squad grounds. You remember me, right? He yelled at them from above, not coming down from his position where he stood on air. I came to return the favor...(( Here's a link to this Arrancar's first appearance. -- Squad 13th Battle Ground -- ))

"I'm terribly sorry...." Alder said, a smirk forming on his face as he lifted Asuko off his spears, and set him out of harm's way. "But I don't remember you. I'll be sure to remember you if there happens to be a next time for you." A chuckle escaped the shinigami's lips as he circled the ground under the Arrancar. He brandished his spears, and surrounded himself with them; he was readying himself for the attack that would inevitably come.
Of course, the Arrancar seemed all too desperate to make his mark on the Shinigami again. It seemed that he'd run in with this squad before, and if that were the case, Alder would show this particular foe no mercy. "Bring it, Arrancar." He said, his grin only widening as he made the 'bring it on' hand gesture.

Hinata whipped around as an alien reiatsu suddenly invaded her senses. Looking up, she witnessed the fabric of the sky being ripped apart - leaving a gaping hole through which a bland-looking figure now stepped. He looked like the Devil in black-and-white, with a horned mask perched on his head and an evil smirk plastered across his face.
"He's almost ruder than me," Harikaze remarked as the Arrancar in question yelled at the Shinigami below with no respect whatsoever.
At least you know it... Hinata couldn't resist throwing the jibe, before blocking her Zanpaktou out.
"What?" She said distractedly in reply to the Arrancar. "Sorry, but I don't remember you - which possibly means I've never met you before; and probably means that you weren't important enough for me to remember anyway." Her face literally spoke of her unimpressed manner. The guy's cocky grin irked her to no end. Having been brought up in a well-respected family, she had been taught from a young age never to appear too full of yourself. There was a fine line between confidence and big-headedness, which this particular enemy seemed to be unaware of.
Ugh... Just die, you fool, the girl thought. Why did we ever let you escape?
