He waited paitiently, his legs working in a dancing rythem of pure passion and allure. Nosing downward he cropped some grass that tickled his hocks. Perfect for a snack he pondered cropping some more. Raising his elegant head upward he watched her lovingly. Wondering deep in his mind how he'd explain he'd taken a mate to the other mare's that occupied the Clearing nearest to where they lived. What a display it was with two flutters, an ice mare, wicked little Samedi, and the Ambiotious unicorn Glory. Tossing his head his mane flowed black, a river of silken velvet liquid almost. His coat gleamed with the sun's gaze as it warmed his chocolate pysique. He was indeed anxious himself to meet with them. Checking in like a foal was directed when a mother stated it. Chuckling to himself he pondered their faces when she'd arrive.

Ardia had found the teepee empty, wandering back to where Sheridan was grazing. She filled her own belly with mouthfuls of the grass, chewing on it slowly, watching the stallion mostly. When she felt she had ate sufficiently for their journey she nickered softly. 'If you're ready to go, I'm ready to follow. We have the whole day ahead of , so its a good time to go.' When he would make to go, she would follow, staying with him till they reached his homelands.

The stallion leaned in with a playful n** secretly leading into a nuzzle. "Whenever you are m'lady." he said with adoration leaning into a perfect bow. His smile was never dull, eyes shining brightly with a wink. Watching her motions closely he momentarily pondered foals with her. A family of joyous little Sheridan and Ardia's. Tossing his head as long black strands danced in the breeze sneaking past them. A dream to look forward to he pondered. Rearing high as a showoff glistening creature he was he started his journey with his love. The mountains looks majestic as the land spread green with foilage. Life was indeed what it was supposed to be.

Meeting Nagual Sayuri_Nitta (( Sure can do some now ^_^ )) Izusa wandered away from where the human woman was standing - she looked too boring anyways. Yzsma padded over, slipping under the tendrilled tail and up near Izusa's front legs. She looked around, sniffing the air for any Soquili's near. She had still yet to find any that looked remotely like her, and had travelled far from the Village. But for now, she was hanging around to see if there was a chance she could steal fruit from someone's teepee. EchoLimaFoxtrot Nagual didn't really want anything to do with anything that might cause foot fungus....even though she didn't have feet to catch the nasty stuff, the filly did not want to risk it!
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a creature that she had never seen before in all her life. Completed interested, Nagual trotted up. When she finally reach it, she was still unsure on what it was, the filly nudged it with her nose, "Are you real?" Sayuri_Nitta Izusa had up-ended a basket, finding a few ripe apples that were in the bottom of it. She was just munching on one when Yzma yipped, alerting her to someone approaching. The kalona mare turned as the filly touched her with her nose. She blew air through her nose at the spotted filly. 'Yes I am real.' she spread her bat-like wings, beating at the air with them a moment. 'Why do you think I wouldnt be?' EchoLimaFoxtrot The filly smiled when the other, who she now knew was female, asked her the question. It seemed funny for her.... how could such a creature be real? "Well, to be perfectly honest, I've never seen anything like you. You look like you may be a Soquili, but maybe one that was unsure what you wanted to be... a bat? a goat? I cannot be so sure.... What are you, exactly, if you don't mind me asking?"
Nagual was not about to miss the food that the mare before her had gotten into...maybe if she asked she could get some? She debated this question while seeing what the mare would tell her. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa snorted, as Yzma snickerd..oh the Kalona wouldnt like that, the vulpine thought. She sat on her tail, waiting for Izusa to answer. 'I am neither of those.' she expressed, contempt colouring her voice. 'I am a Kalona..I am unique,' she stated proudly. She chewed on another piece of apple, her tail flicking on the ground close to the filly. EchoLimaFoxtrot "Well, it is nice to meet you, Unique! I must that, that is an unusual name." Nagual smiled, thinking that that was the Kalona-soquili's name. "I am Nagual-An." She noticed the fox, finally and dropped her head to greet the animal, "And who might this be?"((It's short, I know.... once greetings are done, it should go better sweatdrop xd )) Sayuri_Nitta (( *glomps Rein* ^_^ )) Yzma rolled over on the ground, pressing her paws against her front as she laughed in a barking way. 'My name is Izusa,' she said between gritted teeth. Were all fillys like this? She didnt remember being this dense. 'She is Yzma.'EchoLimaFoxtrot Nagual never lost her smile...although she rarely did anyways. With a giggle, she nodded, understanding entering her mind. "Izusa? Well, that's a much better name that Unique. I didn't think one as exotic as you could have a name as such. And Yzma? Well that is pretty too..." after noticing the fox rolling on the ground, the filly frowned and looked back up at the Kolana, "Is there something wrong with her? She looks like she's in pain!"
She crept forward and tried to sniff the fox, just to make sure. An apple was nearby, so when she stepped back -after getting a paw in the nose-, Nagual snatched it up. Sayuri_Nitta Yzma snapped at the curious filly, wriggling to her feet and shaking herself. 'Yzma was laughing.' Izusa explained, finding patience from who knew where not to chew on Nagual herself, though she did appreciate the compliment given on her name. 'Stealing apples as well?' Izusa canted her head to one side. Maybe this filly could have her uses. She was young enough for any theft to be overlooked as a folly of youth, maybe she could make usage of the silly little thing. EchoLimaFoxtrot "Stealing?" Nagual asked through her munchings on the apple, relieved that nothing was truly wrong with the fox. "I didn't steal... did I?" She swallowed the last of it and frowned up at the mare, "I saw you do it, and assumed it was acceptable. Although, I never knew that eating an apple could be deemed as stealing..."
The filly reached down and grabbed another one, just waiting to be smited from above for doing something wrong Sayuri_Nitta (( Mainly about wrong =P )) 'Yes,' Izusa chuckled, flapping her wings before letting them settle again. Yzma had slipped off by now, wending her own way across the Village to find the food she liked. 'I didnt ask to have these apples,' she kicked at the basket. 'And the human that lives here isnt mine.' she indicated the teepee they were stood behind with her head.EchoLimaFoxtrot The filly tried to shrug as best she could, "So... the apples were just sitting there. There was nothing guarding them... and why does it matter if the human living nearby is your's or not? If that's the case, can you 'steal' a human as well?"
Nagual looked around, trying to see if there was anything around here that should prove otherwise.((Eeps... I don't see myself able to finish this in like 10 minutes gonk )) Sayuri_Nitta Izusa was surprised. Most of the Soquili she had met she knew would denounce her act of filching food from all over the Village as a terrible thing to do to the precious humans. 'You certainly arent as goody goody as the other's of your kind around here.' Izusa remarked. 'Lets go, its boring here.' she clipped off slowly.(( can always pick it up later, even move it to one of the guild location threads =)) EchoLimaFoxtrot ((That would be awesome! I won't be on much this weekend too, which may be a problem... but if we can move the RP to a guild location.... yay!!!! <3333 )) Nagual giggled at the retort, "Well, actually... I am not from around here. I don't come here very often. I usually stick to the... less inhabited -I think is what I've heard it called- regions."
When the Kalona walked off, Nagual quickly ran to catch and trotted at the mare's side. Truly, this was a magnificent Soquili...still very unlike anything she had ever seen. "Of to where-ever then?" she piped from her shorter height.((I think that is all I can post *sniff* I have to leave in a couple minutes))

Informal Rp turns into Formal Rp - Izusa meeting Inali and his baskets Sayuri_Nitta Izusa: *flicks tail a little, then sniffs basket again* Youkochylde ((Or they'll kill each other, one of the two. xd )) The basket didn't seem too pleased by the inspection, and wiggled a bit more before falling still again with a faint huff from inside the concealing wicker. Inali glanced up to the strange-looking Soquili with a bit of apology in his eyes... but not much. She didn't seem to be one to put too much stock in them anyway. "Perhaps it will be a bit more sociable once it's ready to emerge," he said softly, glancing back to the dark basket with a bit of distrust. It wasn't that he didn't LIKE the basket... it just gave him a strange feeling at times. The other didn't give him any such reaction, and seemed to be just fine in the state it was in. The hawk that had started to come around shortly after the basket's arrival had decided that it belonged to him... and remained perched on or around it more often than not. ((Inali is going to be my indian persona. Real creative, I am, it's just another word for 'fox'. xd )) Sayuri_Nitta 'Its so dark,' Izusa said, her tendrilled tail flicking against the ground. 'And it has a familiar smell.' she looked at the hawk, then at the two-legger, snorting at him. Izusa didnt think much of humans still. Youkochylde Nodding, Inali seemed to very clearly recognize the Soquili's unease towards him, but made no move at all... not to move away, or to approach closer. He simply sat where he was, letting the breeze from the hawk's wings send his hair in tendrils around his chest as the bird flapped them irritably. Suni didn't seem to care much for the new Soquili, and clacked his beak in annoyance. Glancing to the bird, Inali kept his words soft. "At first, I thought that perhaps the wicker was stained, but I've been unable to clean it. It seems to be the proper colour for it, despite how strange it seems." The fact that the demon soquili seemed to find the basket so 'familiar' was another factor in making him very uneasy, but he kept his opinions to himself for the moment. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa stared at the human, wishing he would go away. SHe flapped her bat-like wings hard before letting them settle again against her sides. The hawk-bird was looking askance at her and she showed her pointed teeth, tail lashing. She wondered how the human had known her words, he wasnt her fool human, could he speak Soquili? But the basket was more interesting to her, and she knocked it again with a hoof. Youkochylde Truth be told... he couldn't understand her. All that he managed to hear were faint whickers from the mare, but her body language spoke of curiosity and a hint of familiarity with that basket in particular. After all, she paid not one whit of attention to the other basket... or it could have been the taloned bird that fluffed out his feathers and hissed menacingly at the soquili. The man just let his fingers trail over each basket for a moment, tilting his head slightly towards the strange winged one. He'd heard the stories as a child... everyone in the tribe had. The Kalona, the soquili that nightmares were made of. This had to be one of them, although he never thought that he would ever truly lay eyes on one. "I've been talking to them," he continued, watching the baskets as if looking for motion of any kind. "Sometimes, I play music for them. It seems to soothe them both." Sayuri_Nitta Izusa had seen the other basket, but she'd had no intention of tussling with the feathered pest, and the basket was sickeningly bright. So it was bound to be another one of the usual winged, horned or plain Soquili that hung around the Village. But this one.. she lipped the weave of the basket, intrigued as to the life within. If, if it was what she thought it was, she wouldnt be alone anymore. Izusa wasnt sure if that was a good or bad thing. Youkochylde "Stop," Inali said softly, bringing his hand over the basket gently. "Don't disturb it... it needs to rest." He wasn't really too afraid that the Soquili would disturb the baby inside. After all, they above all others knew what it took for a little one to be born. Still... this one wasn't a normal soquili either, and if she decided to make certain that others didn't come into the world, then she could easily wind up making it so. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa snorted, blowing hot air hard through her nostrils, annoyed. But, she realised that the human could take the basket away from the Village, and she would not be able to find it. Unwillingly she complied, tail lashing as she clipped away. As she did so, Yzma came padding up, little nose twitching and silvery-purple brush held out behind her. 'What we got here then?' she asked, peering at the human, the baskets, the hawk and Izusa. 'The basket..' Izusa nodded towards the darker one. 'Interesting..' the fox familiar slunk over to it, nose twitching. Youkochylde The man was less wary around the fox... after all, it was his totem creature, the one he was named after. Smiling softly at it, he still managed to keep both hands on the baskets, caring for them. "You can inspect," he murmured softly. "But please don't disturb them." Sayuri_Nitta Yzma flicked her ears, glancing at the man. She dismissed the lighter one that the hawk was guarding as Izusa wasnt interested in it, and went over to the darker one. She sniffed it, and Izusa watched. The familiar padded back to the Kalona mare. 'So?' Izusa asked, keeping her gaze on the human and basket. 'S'hard to tell. I only met you remember. But it smells different.' the fox sat, tail curled around and over footpaws. 'If it is..' Izusa said. 'If it is, you wont be alone anymore. You okay with that?' Yzma looked up at Izusa who just pawed at the ground. Youkochylde ((*Tackles teh foxboi*)) Inali smiled faintly, then slowly started to get to his feet. It was growing more chill, and he decided that now would be a good time to head back to his teepee. He would be able to rekindle the fire and then set the baskets nearby to keep them warm. It was difficult, to say the least, and he picked up first the dark basket, leaving the hawk to watch the other. He moved towards his home near the river, stepping lightly through the grass so that he didn't misstep and drop the basket. It wasn't until he was inside the teepee that he set the basket down and began the walk back to get the other. Suni, meanwhile, was still perched atop the light basket, watching the other soquili and the fox with distrust. Sayuri_Nitta (( I gots to go now ^_^ Have stoof to do )) With the departure of the basket that had piqued Izusa's interest, she lost her desire to hang around, and with a derisory toss of her head, turned and clipped off. 'Smelly featherbag,' Yzma quipped before following the Kalona, snickering as she went.Youkochylde ((I gotta bail for a bit too. Have to run to the store real quick.)) INali came back fo the other, noting the departure of the soquili with a raised brow. He didn't question it... they came and went as they pleased, after all. Scooping up the second basket, he noted that Suni was very firmly NOT moving at the moment and sighed a bit. "Going to make me carry you too, are you?" he asked, and just chuckled as the hawk trilled softly in response. Without another word, the two made their way back to the teepee, and to the other basket that was waiting there.

Meeting Wyvern...Youkochylde The day was beautiful... The sun was out, there were only a few clouds in the sky, the wintery cold had finally started to abate and the birds were singing. Ballestra would have been rolling in the sun, if he wasn't chasing down another colt that did NOT want to be caught. "WAIT!" he called out, darting forward to catch up after stopping to watch a bumblebee. It was the first one he'd ever seen... "Wyvern, wait!! Where are you going?" "Anywhere but THERE," came the scathing reply, the Kalona colt turning to snap at Ballestra when he got too close. "Stop following me or he'll be wondering why we both disappeared." He was referring to the stupid human that had been there when both had come out of their baskets. Ballestra had nearly tumbled into the man's lap, and seemed to take to him rather well. Wyvern, on the other hand, had kept a wide berth and darted out of the teepee at first opportunity. Ballestra stopped, frowning at him then. "He's going to be worried..." "SO WHAT?!?" Wyvern rolled his eyes, turning to glare at the other with wings mantled. "That's it. I'm learning how to fly so I can get away from YOU." The unicorn shrugged slightly, looking at him in amusement. "I'll send Suni after you." "I'll find out if hawk tastes like chicken." Sayuri_Nitta (( Taste lika chicken! ))
Izusa was standing around, sun warming her wings, the pleasant surroundings lost on her. She was bored, Yzma was away somewhere, and pilfering items from the Villagers was losing its fun as well. 'Fed up..' she grumbled, swinging her head as she heard noises approaching. More idiot foals? She turned anyways, tail flicking the ground, the long tendrils kicking up dirt. She scented the air as they approached; both male and she waited until they were closer before walking towards them.Youkochylde Ballestra sighed, trying once more to get Wyvern to stop and listen to reason. HIS reason, of course. He darted in front of the angry colt, skidding to a stop. "But you can't just LEAVE." Narrowing his eyes, the Kalona just let out a growl, his tail lashing behind him in annoyance. "Watch me," he snarled, a moment before he lashed out, leaving a sharp n** on Ballestra's rump. The bite had the desired effect... with a sharp squeal, the unicorn came nearly a foot off the ground, one foot kicking where Wyvern's head had been just a moment before. Ballestra took off, running a short distance, before stopping and looking balefully at Wyvern. "FINE!" he shouted, a soft pout coming to his face. "Go be a jerk." Smirking, Wyvern just glanced over his shoulder. "Go running home to your human." Sayuri_Nitta Izusa smirked as she watched the two colts sparring...and tilted her head curiously as she regarded the looks of winged one. The tail in particular, so like her own; 'Nicely done,' she commented, walking up to the colt. 'You should stay away from those humans as much as possible.' she spread her wings, then let them settle again. Youkochylde ((Smart move, Latonia. xd Ballestra: *Nickers softly, enjoying the hugs*)) Wyvern turned at the new voice, narrowing his eyes a bit. "And just who are YOU..." he asked, crimson eyes darting over the mare warily. She didn't seem to be like that twit Ballestra... or any of the other Soquili he'd caught glimpses of. He turned to look at his own back then, and waved his tail under his own scrutiny. He looked back to Izusa then, tilting his head as his ears pinned back. "Just how many like us ARE there," he growled. Great. So much for being unique. Ballestra stayed where he was, near a tree that Suni was perched in. The hawk ruffled his feathers in aggitation and Ballestra just nodded as he watched the pair with wide eyes. "I don't like it either," he murmured, remembering the whispers that he'd heard from outside his basket when he was still inside of it. The villagers were afraid of the dark basket... and the tales of the Kalona were told more often than not. Now there were TWO of them? So much for trying to get Wyvern to lighten up. Sayuri_Nitta 'I was going to ask you that,' Izusa said, her tail moving sinously and her teeth flashing a little. 'I presumed I was the only one of our kind.' she kicked the ground, then walked around the colt. 'So it would seem we were both wrong.' Youkochylde Wyvern tensed a bit, one back hoof tilting slightly against the ground as the mare wandered around him. If she made one wrong move... "So who are you?" he asked, keeping his voice low for the moment as he watched her. At least she didn't seem to have the same annoying traits that Ballestra had. THAT one, he was going to take great pride in tormenting. The unicorn deserved it for trying to make him go back to that human. Still, he didn't quite like the scrutiny he was under at the moment, and his wings mantled slightly in response. Ballestra wisely chose to leave the two of them to talk for the moment, but stayed nearby. A patch of sunny grass looked just TOO good to leave alone at the moment and with a rather gleeful whinny, he took off towards it, only to have his front legs collapse once he reached it, the colt rolling in the sunlight. If a hawk could roll its eyes, Suni would be doing so. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa's pulse quickened a little. Except for the slightly different horn, he was just like her! His smell changed as she walked around him, he was tense and she clipped away a little. 'I am Izusa,' she said, sniffing the air, taking in his scent before blowing air through her nostrils. She glanced at the other colt that was revelling in the sun warm greenery and snorted contempt. 'You were in the basket that human had?' she asked, curious to know if the familiar seeming scent had been her recognising another Kalona. Youkochylde ((Wyvern: *Snarls at Kelaku, tail lashing* Back off, coontail, or you'll get hurt. Not too aware of his size, is he... stare Ballestra: *Peers out from behind Helaku as well*)) "That HUMAN," Wyvern hissed, ears flattening. "Can have the basket if he wants it so badly. I refuse to stay there." What WAS it with everyone and their simpering over humans? They weren't that great... they were annoying, they stank of cookfires and sweat, and they liked to put their noses in things that didn't concern them. The unicorn flopped onto his side, tail thumping against the ground as he let out a whuff of breath that toyed with the strands of grass in front of his nose. That had been FUN. There was nothing quite like a good roll in the grass. Well... if there WAS something as good as that, he hadn't encountered it yet. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa smirked at the show of anger from the colt. Unfortunately he was simply to small for her to even begin to be intimidated by it. 'Do you think I live with a human myself? I bother, and annoy them. But I dont align myself with the one who was in possession of my basket, and I hate those Soquili who do live 'happily' with their humans.' Izusa walked away, turning and looking at the Village. 'You will find yourself feared by the humans at any rate for who you are. It's fun to see their worried looks.' Youkochylde "Feared by humans?" The colt nearly grinned at that, his gaze narrowing as he looked towards the village as well. Sharp teeth became apparent as his tail twined behind him. This was sounding better and better. "HOW feared?" Suni took off from the branch at that point, diving towards Ballestra and letting his talons pick at the fur at the tip of the unicorn's tail. Ballestra let out a squeal in response, but this one was far from fear. He scrambled to his feet, long legs getting in the way for a moment, but as soon as he was up, he let out a playful kick and took off after the hawk that was now zooming at eye-level across the meadow. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa thought that it would pique the colts interest. 'Our looks..we are so different from any of the others. You must have noticed how different you look from that...other one,' she said. 'As for the rest..I only know what Yzma my familiar has told me. She listens to the tales the humans tell. They consider us evil beings.' Izusa's wings rustled a little. 'But, I have never been told to leave here. I think they fear what would happen if the did.' Youkochylde "Let them try," Wyvern snorted, his disdain apparent as he shook himself off in irritation. He'd bite anyone who tried to tell him what to do... and that included the human that claimed to be his caretaker. He glanced over to Ballestra as the colt darted off across the grass, frowning at the display. "Idiot." Sayuri_Nitta 'You do realise you are only a colt? At your size if they wanted the humans could easily capture you.' Izusa stated, voice and face showing her amusement. He was feisty to be sure, and would probably be a fearsome stallion when he grew...but if he tried to tussle with something bigger then he, a colt was as old as he would ever be. 'We should lead him far away and leave him there,' Izusa said, her wings twitching a little under the sun's rays as she watched Ballestra. Youkochylde "That stupid bird would lead him back," Wyvern replied, glaring at the hawk. Gods, but he hated that thing. He went quiet then, thinking about what she said. He WAS smaller than he'd like to be... surely, he'd grow in time, but until then, she was right. He'd have to be careful. No worries, he had no intention of going near the humans anyway. Sayuri_Nitta 'You are right..' Izusa glared at the feathered nuisance. 'We should plan something...once I have learned to fly a little better,' she beat her wings hard, hooves leaving the ground and then she landed again, more gracefully then her first attempt. 'Then the hawk could be taken care of. I could show you somewhere to take him.' she offered, eager to get to know the Kalona colt better, as he was the only of her kind she had yet to meet. Youkochylde "At least you CAN fly," he muttered, beating his wings against the air and rearing up at the same time. All he managed to accomplish, however, was lifting his back hooves off the ground about an inch and a half. He landed again, feeling an ache in his wings... he would HAVE to exercise them more, or he'd never get off the ground. Both ears swivelled forward at the mention of a plan for the birdbrain, and he perked up quickly. "Show me where..." Sayuri_Nitta 'Only since I grew,' Izusa trotted forwards, wondering where exactly she would lead the colt to. She had wandered alot since growing..possibly the dead end of the forest. She had found it a few days back, an area of the trees looked like they had succumbed to fire at some recent point, the place was eerily devoid of life, the silence lending it a haunted air. Not only that, it was tricky to get to, one needed to travel over rocky scree, and you needed someone to show you the way. Yzma had done so for her, and she would show the colt if he was willing. Youkochylde "Show me!" he said again, one cloven hoof hitting the ground impatiently. The silly mare was just teasing him now, and if she knew of a place where he could ditch horn-boy, then she'd better damned well show him where it was. "I want to know where it is so I can lose him. Then maybe that human will go off looking for him and I'll be rid of them BOTH." Sayuri_Nitta Izusa turned, eyes flashing dangerously, and her tail whipped the ground before his small hooves. 'Do not think me like that other, or the humans! I will not take orders from one younger then me.' she blew air out slowly as she looked at him. 'You have not even informed me of your given name...you do that, and then speak to me properly and I will take you to the place where you might lose both of them.' Youkochylde Wyvern didn't back down... if anything, the chastising had made him more stubborn. "Perhaps if you'd ASKED my given name, I would have told you," he stated, eyes narrowing as he glared at the mare. "Just because you're older than I am, don't presume that you can order me around any better than the stupid human could." His temper became evident then, and it also became apparent that he was going to be even more difficult to deal with when he finally got the size to back up his attitude. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa simply laughed, tossing her head back, mane shaking as she did so. 'If neither of us give...we wont get anywhere. Tell me your name..please.' she said, her tone stating that she wasnt begging, just not of a mind to stand here glowering at each other all day. 'You don't speak to me like that - and I will agree the same.' Youkochylde "Fine," he snorted, one hoof pawing at the ground as he grumbled and looked away. "And my name is Wyvern." He'd agree to these terms... for now, at least. It wasn't like he could do much to the contrary, at his current size. Oh, but when he got older, this stupid 'compromise' would end... "NOW will you please show me where this place is?" The word 'please' was grated out between clenched teeth, and one could almost see the colt's mane and tail fluffed out in irritation. Sayuri_Nitta 'Well then Wyvern. That was difficult wasnt it..' Izusa teased a little, grinning before trotting off towards the forest. Her wings were tightly folded against her flanks, tail trailing behind as she went, cantering at a pace that the foal could keep up with. At the edge of the forest she slowed again, trotting off to right as the tree line curved away. They would enter the forest further up. Youkochylde Wyvern followed grudgingly, his eyes narrowing as he followed the mare's movements. Overbearing, conceited, thrice-damned woman... his mind muttered, a low growl coming from his throat. It was lost in the wind, however, as he sped up to a full gallop, that being the only way his legs could truly keep up with hers. Of course, it never occurred to him that the traits he seemed to despise in her were the same he possessed. Him? Conceited? Never. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa could almost feel the glaring directed at her...and it was refreshing from the normal looks directed her way. That and the fact it was deeply amusing for the colt to be acting this way. Just out of the basket, and wants to fight everyone, she thought as she found the path that lead in a winding way to the beginning of the scree that lead to the dead area. 'This way,' she said briefly as she ducked between two outreaching branches, following the thin mud trail through the trees. Youkochylde ((*HUGS* Take care, ELF!)) One good thing about his size... Wyvern didn't have to duck to get through the narrow passages, and with his wings folded tightly, he didn't have to worry about squeezing through, either. Two pairs of cloven hoofprints led through the mud, the colt not seeming concerned with the state his legs were going to be in when he was done. After all, he could always go wading in the river afterward. Preferably upstream from the idiot human's laundry. That brought a smirk to his face, and his mood lightened, at least for the moment as he darted after the mare. "How far is it?" Sayuri_Nitta Izusa's tail trailed through the mud, and she looked around, sniffing. She thought she had missed the turning that led to the rock scree..but no, there was the lightning struck tree, the trunk rent with a huge gap and stepped around it, hooves sinking in the leaf litter, before quickening as the ground became stone filled. 'Just up this incline is a point where the ground rises up either side, and the only way to progress is over loose rocks. You need to know where to step to cross it...if you dont..you fall.' Falling with the loose rocks would lead to bad injuries. Youkochylde This was sounding better and better. Wyvern's mind was filled with images of the stupid unicorn falling head over tail into the ravine. "All the way down?" he asked, heading up the incline so that he could see into the ravine itself. He didn't move past that point, taking note of the loose rocks. He didn't want to be the one to go tumbling. Sayuri_Nitta 'I would imagine so,' Izusa said as they approached the end of the ravine. She could smell - just - the damp scent of the charcoal from the burned trees. 'I am not about to be foolish enough to fall however.' She climbed a little, remembering what Yzma had told her...step on the small flourishing plants on the hill as they were rooted in packed earth, and were not covered in moving rocks. 'Step where I do.' she said, turning to look down at him, curious to see if he was clever enough to notice why she placed her hooves where she did. Youkochylde Lowering his head a bit, Wyvern moved to set his hooves exactly where she had. Once they'd gone a little bit, he accidentally misstepped and knew immediately that something was wrong. It hadn't felt right... and the moment he pulled back, he saw the rocks go skittering down the slope. Pausing, he looked down at his own feet, and then to where Izusa was still walking. Plants... he thought, tilting his head to the side. He could also feel the ground firm beneath his feet where he was stepping. As if testing his theory, he reached out with one hoof and set it on a patch of long grass that Izusa hadn't stepped on. It held him just fine, and he smiled, looking to the mare as if he'd just caught onto a BIG secret. So that's the trick.Sayuri_Nitta Izusa smirked as she heard rocks go bouncing down the hill, listening as the clatter slowly subsided. But she hadnt heard a thud and kept going, moving swiftly, occasionally disturbing the shale, the worst as it was flat and smooth. Stepping on that would insure a swift return to the bottom. Blowing a little, she crested the hill, the stones giving way to firm ground again, and she overlooked the blackened area. The silence was as palpable as it had been last time, but she felt oddly at home here. Youkochylde With a final scramble and a smattering of loose rocks, Wyvern climbed up beside her, lifting his head proudly. He'd made it! Almost as if showing just what he thought of this accomplishment, he reared up onto his hind legs, letting out a high-pitched whinny that echoed throughout the ravine. It was HIS, by gods, and he'd definitely be coming back here. Preferably with that idiot horned one to watch him go tumbling down to the bottom. Let that stupid bird get him out of that one... Sayuri_Nitta Izusa motioned with her head. 'Down there is a gnarled tree that resembles a bird in flight..you could lure him down there to see it..and swiftly leave him.' she said cruelly. 'We can stay here for a while...but I would suggest going back,' she motioned to the sky, clouds had amassed as they had travelled. 'It is dangerous to go down the scree when it is wet.' Youkochylde Wyvern made mental note of the tree, and everything else around it. "I don't have to lead him down there," he muttered, a wicked smirk on his face. "I just have to knock him down there. I doubt he'll bother me again after that." As the sun was blotted out, he scowled, ears pinning as he looked up. "Rain," he murmured, scowling at the weather as if this was all its fault. "I hate rain." One had to wonder if there was truly anything he liked. Sayuri_Nitta The mare nodded her approval; 'However you get him down there. Just be sure to lead him quickly up the hill so that he doesnt work out the safe route.' she flicked her head, as rain started to spot down. 'Lets go,' and she began her way back down, taking even more care this time as her heavier body would work against her. Youkochylde ((*HUGS Shariea*)) Wyvern didn't have this problem, and darted down the hill, nearly bounding from safe spot to safe spot. He would remember this... and it would come in very handy later. What he woudlnt' give to be free of that idiot unicorn once and for all. Oh well... he'd be stuck in the teepee with him during the rainstorm, and he'd already heard rumours about why there weren't more unicorns. It would provide a perfect opportunity to convince the dimwit that every human he encountered was going to kill him for his horn. "I'll get him down there," Wyvern said, wings flaring to steady himself as he moved towards the relative 'safety' of the forest. Sayuri_Nitta In the end Izusa jumped and glided slowly to the ground, landing neatly next to Wyvern. She shook the clinging rain from herself, before setting off at a gentle canter, the rain falling heavier now, making a louder noise as it gathered and dripped through the leaves of the forest. Youkochylde I hate rain... I hate rain... I hate rain...It was like a mantra going through Wyvern's mind as he raced along through the trees. He hated to admit it, but the teepee was looking REALLY good right now. Maybe he could just curl up and sleep and ignore the human completely. By now, he was pretty certain that this was going to be one hell of a storm, so it wasn't going to be just one that he could deal with and stay out through. A low rumble of thunder seemed to agree with him, and it made the colt put on an extra burst of speed. I hate thunder... I hate thunder... I hate thunder... Sayuri_Nitta The grumbling elements seemed to be spurring the colt into faster movements, Izusa noticed as she clipped along, bearing the wet on her pelt as best as she could. At their pace they had soon left the Forest, and were headed back across plain towards the Village. When they had reached the outskirts Izusa stopped, rain running in rivulets down her folded wings and she sneezed a little. She would go find an empty teepee, one of the old abandoned ones, and she wondered if, despite all his sharp words, that he would go to the humans teepee. Youkochylde Wyvern shook himself off and glared towards the village. Too many humans. "I'll see you another time," he murmured, turning away then and starting towards the river. At least the human he knew had sense enough to get away from the village itself. He would have roughed it out in the forest otherwise. This way, he would only have to deal with ONE human and the idiot unicorn. He could handle it for the brief time the storm would last. Sayuri_Nitta 'I am sure you will,' Izusa smirked as the foal walked away. She flicked the water from her wings, and trudged off towards the abandoned teepee she knew of. She had been right..he was headed back in the direction the two colts had first arrived from. 'Go back to the human,' she muttered as she walked off into the rain and gloom. Youkochylde If he'd heard the scathing comment, he likely would have stayed to argue. Wyvern, however, was more concerned with getting out of the rain. He ran off towards the teepee, darting into the flap without so much as an announcement of his arrival. A moment later, a rather bemused man stepped out, looking around for his other charge. Ballestra, meanwhile, wasn't too keen on coming in from the rain just yet. Even the rumble of thunder wasn't dissuading him from running through the grass, kicking up his hooves every now and again with a gleeful whinny. Suni, however, was obviously NOT enjoying the rain as much. The hawk was perched in a tree, using the pine's boughs as shelter from the water as he watched the colt's antics.

Izusa meets Chaos Meeki ((It always takes me so long to really wake up. I've been up for hours yet still don't really feel awake. gonk Aww, romantic gestures are the best.)) Chaos wandered out of the forest and started towards the clearing. He didn't want to admit it but he felt so lonely these past few days. Did he miss Samedi? He hated how that mare had had captured his attention and perhaps a piece of his heart. She wasn't even a unicorn!
What was worse was he found himself feeling less angry when she was around. He found himself to be changing in ways that felt abnormal yet strangely comfortable. But with her absence, the angry feelings and his strong beliefs were slowly coming back, invading his heart, mind and soul.
He shouldn't care about the mare, he reminded himself. He was a unicorn afterall. He was proud. He was strong. He was superior. She was obnoxious, rude, vulgar, insulting, disrespectful and..
By the gods, was she ever beautiful. Chaos lowered his head in shame as he entered the clearing. He felt like a broken stallion for betraying his beliefs. Sayuri_Nitta Izusa had been mooching around the clearing, idly stripping the bark off a tree with the tip of her curved horn. She had hoped to come across the Kalona colt again, or even find out where Yzma had disappeared off to, but she had seen neither the Soquili or her familiar. She had grown bored and clipped along, chewing on a mouthful of grass when the scent of another drifted to her on the air. She stopped, watching as a stallion came into view, a patch of shadow with a needlelike horn. She stamped on the ground hard with a cloven hoof to get his attention. Meeki Reflexively, Chaos turned towards the sound and spotted a... well.. he wasn't quite sure what it was. It resembled a mare but was unlike anything he had ever seen before. It looked like something that spawned from nightmares and shadows. He knew that he should be cautious around this creature but curiosity drew himself closer to the mare.
Once he was near her, he cocked his head to the side and ran his eyes over her body. Not out of lust, or admiration but sheer curiousity and awe. When he was done her couldn't help but ask, "What the hell are you?" Sayuri_Nitta Izusa had done her own looking, taking in his flowing crimson mane, the sleek black pelt, and the feline like tail tipped with a tuft of hair. He was very appealing to the eyes...but she wasnt much swayed as she still regarded most other Soquili as pale compared to Kalona's. 'I am a Kalona,' she said, her voice proud as she spread her wings in a sweeping motion then let them settle again, the tendrils of her tail lashing the floor a little. Meeki Chaos repeated the word several times in his head as he searched his memory but had never heard of this species of Soquili. They looked like something one would use to scare little foals into sleeping at night.
"Kalona," he said out loud. "How.. interesting." He was actually near speechless. He always believed he had a vast knowledge of the world around him and here he was, completely dumbfounded. Perhaps this race just wasn't common enough to be well known? "Are you alone? Are there more of your.. more Kalona?" Sayuri_Nitta 'Yes..I am interesting.' Izusa could see that this stallion wasnt fearful, more curious then anything. 'For a long time I believed I was the only one. But a few days ago I met a colt of my kind. But he is the only other I have ever seen, and I have travelled far from here since attaining adulthood.' Meeki "Must get lonely." Chaos speculated, not really caring one way or another. But he did sympathize on one level. He knew what it was like to have a race that was uncommon and how important it was to keep that race thriving. He knew he should breed with a Unicorn but found himself questioning it lately. "I hope you can find more of your kind soon," he added, quite a bit more sincerely. In her own.. extremely unusual way, the Kalona mare was lovely to look at and no one deserved to be alone. Sayuri_Nitta 'Only if I cared about such things,' she said tartly. She wasnt about to confess that finding out she wasnt the only Kalona had given her a good feeling, more so when she discovered that Wyvern was as scheming as she. 'If there are not more out there, then there are remedies to that.' Izusa curled her lip a little. She was not romantic, and having seen Ardia and Sheridan together, decided that sort of thing wasnt for her. But furthering the Kalona line. She could apply herself to that she had decided. Meeki Chaos nodded. He found himself to be cold, callous, angry and cruel and he felt nice around this female. He wondered if Kalona were born without a heart. Would be sad if it were true. It sickened him when he caught others making such public and disgusting displays of affection but he didn't mind romance in itself. Perhaps again that was just Samedi's influence on him.
"There's no honor in wanting to hurt those of your own race without just cause." Perhaps the Kalona did not care about honor. Sayuri_Nitta 'I was referring to conceiving other Kalona's,' she said, her wings rustling irritably. 'But none of the other Soquili's have convinced me that they are equal to myself or the other Kalona.' Which wasnt technically true, as she had met two others that she had not hated - this one could possibly be the third if he didnt turn out to be as pompous as he was seeming. Izusa wandered a little, clipping in a circular manner around the unicorn. 'They are needy, and cling to each other and their humans.' Meeki The old Chaos would agree with her but lately, Chaos was plagued with a series of doubts. Perhaps it wasn't a weakness to be close to a two legger. Perhaps it was a strength. He decided not to respond to that part of her comment due to the conflict of feelings.
"I can imagine it being difficult to find your equal, especially with the superior races such as the Unicorn. It seems more Unicorn are lowering themselves lately to be the equal of others though. Such a pity." He wondered how much pride was truly left in his race. It seemed more and more were prancing around with other races than their own. He shook his head and sighed faintly.
"Speaking of conceiving," he started in an attempt to change the conversation, "How would one attempt such an act with you without getting hurt in the process?" The female did seem to have spikes all over her and he was always open about his curiosity. Sayuri_Nitta 'I do not know about that,' Izusa said. 'The last unicorn I met was full of joy, and eager to be my friend. That was not degradation for her after all,' she snorted proudly, blowing air hard through her nostrils. She tossed her head back, showing her fang teeth and laughed; 'Carefully!' she quipped, spreading her wings at her joke, leaving the ground a moment, before landing gently again. Meeki "Any Unicorn that lowers themselves to 'eagerly be the friend' of another race is degrading him or herself. It also shows that they don't put thought in their actions. They damn well shouldn't be full of joy either." Chaos stomped the ground angrilly at the idea. It seemed more and more in this land were acting.. happy and bouncy. He hated happy and bouncy.
"Carefully," Chaos repeated, taking the comment very seriously for a moment before he cracked a smile, the white of his teeth standing out prominently against his dark coat. "Carefully, indeed!" Sayuri_Nitta 'Poor thing..' Izusa sympathised a little. 'At least I know the other of my kind is as a Kalona should be. But are you the same? Or do you ally yourself with Soquili that are not Unicorns?' She smiled, kicking the earth a little. 'Take every care with a mare like me,' she commented. Meeki "I ally myself with those truly worthy, regardless of race. However, that is a rare act in itself and I hold the Unicorns in the highest regard. Well.. most of them. It must be easy," he spat, "to have Kalona be as Kalona should be, when there's so few of you." He didn't like his race being insulted like that. Let her make such a claim when the Kalona have grown to be the size of the Unicorn race. Though there were not many Unicorn, they far outnumbered the Kalona. Why, he didn't even know their kind existed until a few minutes ago! Sayuri_Nitta Izusa simply snorted; 'We may not be many as yet, but to those who know our name we are feared.' she said. 'And that's all I require.' she clipped away, making to leave the clearing, leaving a parting shot as she went. 'If your type persist on multiplying like rabbits, then weak shall they always be.'(( I gotta go, dinner is needing dishing out, and I have arts to do XD Thanks for the rp tho ^_^ )) Meeki ((Had to show off this pretty reference Shariea made for me of my dream Soquili. It's so pretty. Take care Sayuri_Nitta! )) "Multiplying like rabbits? I daresay, we don't have nearly the amount to do that as I would have abused the practice most assuredly! But we certainly have enough to keep our race thriving. You'll be an old nag by the time the foal matures and then you're going to have to hope he finds you attractive enough to mount." Chaos was finding himself disliking the 'Kalona' mare. She was worse than Samedi!
Chaos turned to leave but stopped. He really didn't enjoy being mean to any female. He was just quick to anger and took his pride and race seriously. He wanted to tell her that she really wasn't unattractive at all. If you could ignore the odd things poking out of her in random areas, she was quite a pretty Soquili. But he doubted she would care either way and just see his half-apology as a 'sign of weakness'. Perhaps he was getting weak lately.
She seemed so heartless as well. Better to just let her leave. Surely he was never quite as bad as that?

The kalona mare mooched around again, kicking at the sodden grass with a hoof tip, the mud squished between the cloven split. Izusa was bored, the Villagers knew to avoid her now, and she hadnt see hide or hair of the new Kalona. Had she dreamt that there was another Kalona? No, she wasnt like that; wasnt a foolish daydreamer, prone to hopeful whims. But she did walk out each day looking for the colt, that she had been forced to admit to herself. She had looked forward to seeing him, and had not yet. So what would she do? She knew that Yzma had her own business, the little vulpine familiar had gone hunting, and was often scouting around for a mate..something Izusa firmly believed that she would never do. She didnt do that romantic stuff...as she was thinking this she passed Ardia, the brown mare decorated in flowers. She knew this mare had become a companion to that fool human she had first found herself with...and she also knew that this Ardia had found herself a mate, having witnessed the two together. The stallion was a fine one physically, Izusa had seen, but was so smitten with Ardia that it was sickening to watch. She snorted, watching Ardia jump as she did so, and clipped onwards, snickering in amusement. It was a pretty day as she moved off into the meadow, her wings spreading under the warming sun. The ground was moist still though from the spring rains, and she clipped a hunk of grass, chewing it thoughtfully as she watched the clouds drift along the sky. What was this feeling? Was she lonely? That couldnt be...and she took to wing, beating the air hard as she flew away, trying to leave her confusion behind with the ground.

Ardia spends time with Sheridan, Dory meets up with Swafi again..Sayuri_Nitta Ardia watched with amusement as Dory cantered around, the fox familiar Squishy gripping tightly with her teeth to the hair of the brightly coloured mares mane. 'I don't think she likes that Dory,' Ardia said, almost laughing as Dory trotted to a halt and the fox slipped off, wobbling about on shaky legs before flopping on the floor.'No? But it seemed like such a good idea! And its easier for her to move around then on her little legs,' Dory giggled sheepishly as they stood in the meadow, sun warming their backs. Dory looked at the fox and nickered. 'She looks ill now..'Ardia laughed a little; 'Yes I imagine she would.' and she moved away, grazing a little as the other mare went over to her familiar, nudging the fox to try and get it to stand. Remove Swafi was trotting around after all the whole lovy family thing at his teepee was making him feel a little ill or jealous, what ever it was. He hadn't really been caring about where he was heading so once he saw the two mares together he found himself in some luck. He recognized one as that pretty forgetful mare, pitty she was such a good looker, that memory was a problem. He didn'y mind much for now though, he trotted towards the two mares, his head held high. Shariea The Handsom stalion couldnt miskate the framilure whinny of his love for anyone else. His ears flicked lightly back a forth as a smile spread across his face. His heart lept at the chance to see her again, for even a minute was too long in his eyes and it had been several days.
Sheridan lightly moved into a trot, guessing by the sound of her voice that she would be around the corner to his left. His white feet pranced lightly and he held his strong head high. The sight of her as he broke through the brush was something to truely behold. Basking in the warm sunlight as she was. In a Single fluid motion he brought himself up to her side. "Good morning." he whispered into her ear before giving her an affectionate nuzzle. Sayuri_Nitta Ardia fair jumped from her skin when Sheridan suddenly appeared beside her and whispered into her ear; 'My goodness!' she exclaimed, heart thumping hard as she recovered from the surprise. 'Sheridan!' she chastised. 'You made me jump,' she was pleased to see him, and so smiled a little anyway. 'Baad body,' she nickered, blowing air at him and lipping his neck.Dory had jumped a little as well, almost squashing Squishy who quickly padded out of the way and up onto a nearby fallen tree. Dory watched the affectionate show between Ardia and her mate, and then turned as her nose alerted her to the presence of another stallion. 'Oh it's you!' Dory said, clipping over to Swafi...pity she had forgotten his name. 'Swafi..' supplied the familiar from her perch. 'I knew that!' Dory felt warmth in her face. Remove Swafi was a little dissapointed seeing a male go and nuzzle the other femme but hey, there was no problem in just talking to Dory, if she could remember his name that was. "Dory!" He smiled and bowed his head as he reached her. "Hello to you to!" He smiled at the small fox before bowing his head to the strange coloured fox. In fact, both were strange colours but they interesting and Swafi liked them. "How are you both today?" He glanced at the other two though didn't say anything, what would be the point in that? He would makea fool of himself! Sayuri_Nitta (( *pushes Dory and Swafi together* They would have damn interestingly coloured babies hehe..well we'll see XD )) Dory dipped her head as well; was it what they did when they met? Well she did it anyways. 'You remembered my name!' she said, pleasantly surprised. She wouldnt have thought a stallion would bother to remember her name after all. Well that and the fact that those with a memory capacity beyond a few hours was amazing to her. 'I am good thank you,' she said, then glanced at Ardia. 'Ardia will be happy as well..now she's seen umm..' The familiar piped up once more; 'Sheridan.' 'Yes that's his name.' Dory nodded.Shariea Sheridan couldnt help but laugh as his love jumped nearly out of her skin. "M'sorry." He said through a chuckle, most half heartedly. A handsom smile crossed his face as he took a step back as if admiring her. "I think You look rather cute when you're cross with me though." He winked at her and nuzzled her lightly again. His long mane flowing out beside him as a small breeze began to blow. "An what has brought you out here on this fine day M'dear?" Remove ((hehe they would! Not sure what swafi would think of mating with someone who couldn't remember his name though hehe.. we shall definatly see!)) Swafi chuckled. "Squishy isn't it?" He looked down at the fox and smiled. He could get use the that little fox, it was a good memory for Dory. "Ah, my friend has a mate and three children they are always happy when they see each other, love does strange things to people. Maybe if you ever fall in love you might remember more!" He chuckled and nickered happily. He couldn't see himself falling in love, he never seemed to be around one for long enough. Sayuri_Nitta 'My hooves,' she joked a little, presenting a polished looking hoof for inspection. Ardia's tail gently swished as she looked at Sheridan. 'I wasn't really cross you know..just made me jump.' She looked over at Dory, motioning to the other mare. 'I was out here with Dory, making sure she didnt forget her way home. She is a lovely Soquili, but a little...forgetful.' she looked at Sheridan again. 'Down from the mountains for long?' Sayuri_Nitta Squishy blinked as she was addressed, her pointed ears flicking and tail coiling around her. 'Yes..' she said quietly.
'A mate?' Dory nodded, thinking slowly. 'It must be nice to have foals...' she blinked a little at his 'joke'. 'I am well aware I have a bad memory you know,' she said forlornly, ears dropping. Her familiar looked up sharply and spoke; 'Dory may not have the most remarkable of memories but she is fun, giving and warm-hearted. She would make a wonderful mate, and any stallion would be lucky to have her.' The fox's fur bristled a little. Shariea Sheridan smiled and leaned down, craning his neck ever so lightly to glance over her hoove. "Ah, So you mean to tell me that M'lady is fancy free and goes where ever she pleases?" He chuckled lightly and glanced over his shoulder at the blue mare. "Oh? Well thats too bad. One would think she could remember things of importance, such as the way home. Thats a pitty." He turned back to Ardia with that grin once more. "But Leave it to you to lend one of those Shiny hooves." Nickering softly he shook his head, raven mane following his every movment like a fanfare. "Why Yes I am. " Sayuri_Nitta 'She remembers the important things..like how to be a good friend, which she is.' Ardia said, walking a little, and watching over Dory and the other stallion. She looked at Sheridan. 'I go where I wish yes..' she smiled. 'But I always come back here, and I will always follow you.' she reached out, neck arched gracefull and tugged on the long hair of hs silky mane. 'That's good. I had missed you.' Remove Swafi smiled, "I was being serious though, from what I have seen love does do unbelieveable things to people!" He then turned to the fox, "I would never doubt that she would make a male very happy, look at her she is stunning." He smiled softly, nothing about him would have suggested he had been joking as after all if he saw an ugly mare he had no problem in announcing it. Shariea Sheridan's heart skipped a beat as she tugged his mane lightly, her words echoing on into his mind. He smiled and lightly closed his eyes, capturing this moment in time. "As I will follow you to the ends of the world M'love." He whispered softly, as if a sigh. His tail flicked gently against the ground as he moved his head against her own. Nuzzling her softly, he hadnt known how much he had truely missed her until now. Sure he knew his heart had ached to be by her side. How he had missed her laugh and smark remarks. Yet.. to feel her warmth beside him was something he hadnt known he truely longed for. Slowly he opened his eyes and moved around to face her. "I Missed you too..." Sayuri_Nitta Squishy's hackles lowered again, mollified. 'Well then..' she nodded.
Dory's eyes rounded, and she thought the ground was wobbling - no that was just her legs. He thought she was pretty? She hoped, she really hoped that it was something she would never forget. She reached and nudged him with her warm nose. 'You..think I look nice?' she asked. Remove Truth be told Swafi found that little fox a little threatening but either way, she was happy now. "Dory, doesn't everyone think that?" He glances at Dorys friend and then Squishy, "If you dont mind will you follow me?" He spoke softly, her nudging him had been quite a shock but he hadn't minded, a femme had just, never done anything like that to him before. Sayuri_Nitta (( Just trapped my fingers under a heavy chopping board *waves them and swears* XD )) 'Then you should never leave me again,' Ardia said, only half joking. She missed him when he returned to his mountainous home, but she also knew they had discussed this before..and that he had said that he would have to return there from time to time. Ardia didnt want to become one of those clinging mares, but she did miss him. She moved to stand beside him, letting her flank rest against his for a moment.Shariea "oh if you only knew how it tore my heart to leave you each time." He said with a dramtic sigh, even though the words where very true. "I have to go back, you know that. However.. I can try and stay down here more often. " He lightly closed his eyes again as her flank rested against his own. His tail lightly flicked and he moved his cheak to rest against hers. "Would that I could be with you from dawn til dusk for the rest of our lifes.." Sayuri_Nitta 'I don't know many people,' she confessed. 'And I don't believe that I am. I mean someone might have said..but then I would have forgetten it..' she waggled her ears in amusement. 'Uhh..follow? Okay.' Dory looked over at Ardia then back at Swafi. Squishy eyed the stallion, but decided to stay where she was for the moment. If he led her astray..well then he would receive a sharp n** to the ankle! Sayuri_Nitta 'So dramatic..!' Ardia teased, her tail swishing along with her merriment. 'I know..I know this all. A mare can dream right? Of a time when you stay with me and never leave...and of a time when around us clips tiny hooves.' she said wistfully. Remove Swafi looked wearily at Squishy before smiling at Dory, "look come on." He smiled and turned, his tial flicking behind him. He wasn't taking her far just down to the river bank and it wasn't miles away or anything. As he reached the water he turned and looked at Dory, "look into the water." How could she not htink she was pretty? How many mares had her amazing colours! Shariea Sheridan chuckled. "And if you think i'd leave you when around us clip tiny hooves you're out of your mind. I think You'd have to push me away to get some quiet time." he laughed and nuzzled her again with a sigh. Truth be told with all the baskets that had somehow found their way to his mountain home.. he had found himself longing to be a father himself. Sayuri_Nitta Dory followed, a little hesitantly but when they went towards the river she sped up - was he taking her down here to watch the fish? She liked to do that. 'What am I meant to be seeing?' she asked, as she looked into the water. 'Oh look!' she stamped a hoof in excitement as a silvery scaled fish flashed into view, sunlight reflecting off the scales. Remove Swafi laughed at the awy she immediatly looked at the fishes. "He nickered and nodded happily before nudging her slightly. "No look at the top of the water, at your reflection!" He chuckled and stood close to her also looking down. He ignored his own reflection, the markings around his eyes annoyed him. Sayuri_Nitta 'You'd make a good father..' Ardia commented, shifting a little so that she could rest her head on his shoulders. Her tail lazily flicked an annoyance, a fly alighting on her haunches. 'You think I would be a good mother?' she asked idly. She had a hope that she would be, but well, you never knew right? Sayuri_Nitta 'But why...its just me isnt it?' Dory tilted her head, curious as to why she had to look at herself. 'What do you see that I dont?' she looked at Swafi. 'I mean I'm bright..but I've seem bright caterpillars with all funny hairs sticking all over them and they arent pretty!' Remove Swafi chuckled, "I see you. Look at you, your so different, have you ever seen another Soquili with your colours, I haven't!" He smiled and nudged her again. "Your pretty because your different and special!" He chuckled again and looked back to where the fox was. "If you dont see how pretty you are, maybe we should go back to squishy.." Sayuri_Nitta 'I guess..' Dory looked again, her reflection rippling as the water flowed along. 'I'm different and special..but in a good way?' The little nudges werent helping because she was having funny warm thoughts everytime he did that. 'So my colours make me pretty? I'm pretty..' she mouthed the words, still not believing, but not wanting to annoy this new friend of hers. Remove Swafi chuckled and just smiled at her, "You dont have to believe it, just try not to forget I do ok? Your special in a very good way!" He smiled and turned to head back to the little fox, flicking his tail so it hit her lightly he strated to trot back to the fox, who he lowered his head to again. Sayuri_Nitta 'I will try,' Dory said, a little meekly. She brightened when he said that she was special in a good way, and followed him back to where Squishy was napping in the sun. The familiar looked at Swafi through barely opened eyes and snorted quietly. 'Squishy I saw a silvery fish..' Dory said, unable to contain herself. 'That's nice,' the fox yawned sleepily. 'Didnt catch it for me though did you?' 'I can't do that you know.' she clipped her front hoofs on the ground, laughing. She looked at Swafi. 'Why don't you have a mate?' she asked boldly. Remove Swafi just laughed, "Why would anyone want to mate with me?" He had to turn the question. He didn't know why he didn't have a mate, females obviously didn't like him! ((brb dinner))

Cont..Sayuri_Nitta (( Okie doke ^_^ )) 'Umm...' she scraped the ground with a hoof, looking at the mud that she was curling up. 'Because you look nice..' Dory admitted, smiling at the stallion.Remove Swafi smiled at her and laughed, "look there is no need to say that, just because I think you look wonderful doesn't mean you need to lie!" He smiled as he spoke softly. ((*goes to sort out her stuff*)) Sayuri_Nitta 'Dory never lies..' mumbled Squishy from behind her pink brush. 'I don't...I tell the truth..it isnt always appreciated but I do think you are very - handsome,' she searched out the word carefully. Remove Swafi looked at the fox and then Dory in total shock. "You mean it?" Now he was the one who was finding it hard to accept. "oh.." He looked to the ground thinking, what happens now? A female had nudged him and now found him attractive? He was confused! Shariea "With Your caring nature how could you not be a good mother? I think you'll be a fine mother in fact." he said with a smile. Tilting his head lightly as she laid her head across his neck. He sighed softly, the question was would he be a good Father? She certainly thought so, and he was fine with the colts and fillys that others had.. but what of his own. Would he suddenly become strick? He snorted lightly at that thought. Sayuri_Nitta (( Got about an hour left before I should be scooting..got a load of art to do XD )) Dory smiled, pleased that for once she wasnt the one that had gotten the surprise. 'Yes..' she nodded her head. 'See! It's not easy to accept that you look nice to someone else.' she debated sticking her tongue out at the stallion but thought that might be a teasing too far.Sayuri_Nitta 'I hope so..more then anything I want the opportunity to find out,' Ardia curved her neck, shifting so that she could rest on him and nibble at his mane. Her mane fell onto his sides. 'What are you thinking?' she enquired, curious as to his thoughtful seeming silence. Remove He chuckled and nodded his head, "It seems that you are indeed right!" He was happy to accept he was wrong but still, someone thought he was good looking? Strange mare she was. "So.... what now?" He asked feeling rather confused and not knowing what to do. Shariea Sheridan chuckled softly and huffed. "Your right. No use fretting over it when we're not yet expecting." He looked back at her and sighed closing his eyes again. "Just wondering if we'll change at all when we have children..." he said almost sheepishly. Sayuri_Nitta 'Change? In what way?' Ardia was confused; did having children change you? She supposed there would be some adustment what with added mouths to feed etc. but she wondered what Sheridan meant by that.'If you'll excuse me,' Squishy slipped from the top of the fallen tree, slinking off through the tall grass towards the woodland. She wasnt going to hang around if this was going to become a 'eyes meeting with the tweeting of songbirds in the background moment'..
Dory shifted nervously; 'Umm..I don't know - do we have to do something?' she eyed Swafi, and then looked at the closeness of Ardia and whatshisname..Sheriban wasnt it? They didnt have to do that did they? She smiled at Swafi, tail swishing. Remove Swafi wasn't sure but hewalked a little closer to her, mimicking what the other male had done and nuzzled Dorys neck before nipping it affectionatly. "What was that like?" he asked looking a little confused stepping back a bit. Was that ok? Did he do it ok or was it wrong? Shariea "You know.. Like make your strict and stuff. Change who you are because you know have ofspring to look after." he shifted lightly, feeling suddenly awkward to talk to seriously about such a thing. He smiled lightly and chuckled. "Im sure it wouldnt now that I think about it.. " Sayuri_Nitta (( XD I like playing Dory as much as Izusa ^_^ Ardia is my mellow easy to play character hehe )) 'What what what?' Dory skipped back, turning around to try and see what he was doing. He nipped her! Why did he do that...but it was nice? 'Erm..well,' she looked sidelong at him. 'You surprised me but it was nice..' She blew air through her nostrils, trying to work out what was going on. 'Do this mean I am going to have a foal now?'Remove He shook his head, "I dont think so...." He really wasn't sure what to do but he liked being close to her. He trotted close to her again and this time just nezzled her, blowing warm air onto her neck through his nostrels. Yeah being close to her was nice as long as she didn't mind. Sayuri_Nitta 'But I think being strict can be good...I wouldnt want to raise a wayward foal.' Ardia mulled his words over. 'But you are right..its not like you have ever shown any sort of firmness in your nature to me. Love, and sweetness..' she smiled a little. 'I think its natural to wonder about stuff like that.' Shariea Sheridan nodded softly and rubed his cheak against her own. "Im sure you're right. Just a thought that crossed my mind is all...Do you often think of what they would look like? Act like?" he chuckled softly. "Im sure we'll have our hands full whether we had fillies or colts." This was a side of sheridan that was rarely seen. Many would think that this handsome stalion wouldnt think of such things as having children, and dreaming about what they would look like. What with him dashing through the woods and making such a show of himself as he did. Some would also call him arrogent, yet only Ardia had the privlage of seeing the sides of him that no one else could dream of. Sayuri_Nitta Dory's eyes went round again; 'Swafi you are very very nice..' she said carefully, her tail gently patting against him as she swished it in her nervousness. 'But I'm really worried that I'll forget about you. I think..before we get like..umm well that,' she indicated with her head towards Ardie and Beribaum..or whatever their names were. 'That we should test my memory..I think we should say goodbye and meet up again. I think if I remember you the next time we meet..then I might like you enough for this - touching stuff.'(( Dory: Am I? *twitches ear* I can't remember 4laugh )) Sayuri_Nitta (( *waves to Rein* )) 'Handsome just like you,' Ardia smiled a little, drifting into thoughts. She realised she would become meloncholy if she continued to think of the things she might never have. 'How are the others that live up in the mountains with you? Do they venture down here at all?'Remove Swafi sighed, it was true. He moved away from her a little and looked at the ground, "Then all I can do is hope..." He smiled at her and nickered softly. "I will look forward to the next time I see you Dory, when ever that may be." He bowed his head, he was to leave soon. Shariea He chuckled and although he wished to speak with her about their possable children to come he noted her expression and shifted topic with her. "Hmm, Some do..if not all. Celendria has been coming down much more rarely since she had her sons." he paused and glanced up at the sky. "and the two flutters are always out and about. Never know when one may drop in in on you. " he laughed heartily and nudged her side softly. "Sometimes Its just me up there...which is when you can find me down here." Sayuri_Nitta Dory gently lipped Swafi's ear, her neck stretched as she reached. 'I'm sure I will see you soon..' and she hoped that she did remember him..his name and the things he had said and done. She nickered softly, and clipped off...and then clipped off the other way in the right direction this time. Remove Swafi smiled at her and then turned to leave, his head drooping. He could hope right? Thats all he had anyway, just hope. Sayuri_Nitta (( Awwww heart ...I need to update the friends post in my teepee XD )) 'I don't think I've met Celendria..or the flutters that you speak of. They are winged I take it?' Ardia chuckled. 'Oh I see! So I am your fallback when you are bored huh?' she feigned indignation.Shariea Sheridan gave her an aprasing eye and laughed. "Oh yes, When I get bored roaming the Hills I figure its about time to come and see you again." He nudged her softly purely in jest and laughed. "Celendria is an ice mare, she is the purest blue you ever did see.. very calm. The Flutters are like giant butterflies. They have the wings of them yet the body of a horse....Chittery little ones. Always hyper and jumping about, zooming this way and that." he rolled his eyes softly. Sayuri_Nitta (( *grins* )) 'Feh,' Ardia tilted her nose upwards, flicking him with the tips of her tail hairs. 'Celendria is calm? How does she put up with your high spirits I wonder.' she teased him again. 'Well the flutters sound interesting to be sure. I'd like to see them sometime,' she sniffed the air, noting the different smell that hung on it, and as she looked up, the darkening clouds that had drifted in whilst they were talking. 'Maybe we should head into the Village...might need to take shelter soon.' she suggested.(( need to wrap it up - gotta get orf compy and do stoof XD )) Shariea "She takes people as they are I suppose, although I have gotten a few icy stares." he suddered softly and glanced up at the sky. "I think the flutteres would like you too. Shaylee is quite high spirited and High flyer is a bit more clam. At lest she appears to have a head on her shoulders. Sometimes I think Shaylee would loose hers." He laughed a bit and with a furrow of his brows nodded. "a Little rain never hurt anyone." he chidded her. "But ...shelter might be a good idea with the way the wind is turning..." (( Ok, tis been fun ^^ )) Sayuri_Nitta 'I can imagine,' Ardia clipped off, wandering towards the Village, intent on waiting out the turn in the weather in the lee of a teepee. They could carry on talking there..(( Ok I'm off for now..might be finished with your piccie tonight Shariea *waves* Thanks for rp - bye all =))

Dory stood on the shore, hooves sinking slightly on the sea damp sand. She watched the tide drift in and out, coming ever closer as it did so. The breeze tugged her tail and mane and sniffed the salted air. 'What are you thinking about?' asked Squishy as the familiar approached her. 'Things..my bad memory mostly. If I'll ever have a family..like Ardia,' she said, remembering her friends name properly for once. 'You will.' The vixen looked up at the mare, concern on her vulpine features. 'If you say so..' Dory was more solemn then she'd ever known her to be. She wondered what that stallion had said to her when they had gone off together for a bit, and she was curious to know if that was the reason Dory was introverted. 'Swafi..' Squishy looked up in surprise. 'He...I still remember his name..' Dory look suprised at this, turning away from the incoming tide and wandering inland. 'He was weird.' complained Squishy as she padded alongside the Soquili. Dory chuckled. 'He was nice...but he was weird too,' she admitted. 'And you remember his name..' 'Yes I do...I wrote his name in shells the morning after I saw him again. The human has been showing me her letters for making words. I made his name...well she said it out loud when I had finished putting the shells in the sand, and she cannot understand my words so I could not have told her..right?' Dory was worried that she had forgotten that the human had known the word but the familiar agreed; 'The human doesnt know the language of the horses yet...you could not have told her.' she soothed. 'I was worried..' Dory said, a nervous smile on her soft mouth. As they strolled onto a more grassy area, Dory began to graze, worries forgot...but Swafi's name oddly was not. She wanted to see him again, and hoped she would. She had said to him that if she remembered him it was a good sign..and she hoped that by the time she saw him she still had his name in her memory.

Swafi was heading down the beach mainly for a run in the sea but the hope of seeing Dory was definatly there inside him somewhere if he would admit it or not. She would have forgotten his name and everything like always.
He kept his head down as he attempted to walk on the sand, still not use to the way it sunk under his hooves but in a mad desperate wave of enegry he made it to the waters edge where the sand seemed to always be harder. It confused him but he liked the water up against him it felt strangely nice.

Dory had filled her belly with grass, grazed enough and decided to wander back down towards the sea to watch the sun set as she often tried to do. She squinted into the dying sun rays, not able to see who it was standing in the foam of the tide until she had gotten nearer..she paused, looking at Swafi, her tail swishing with her nerves. 'Hey,' she said quietly as she clipped towards him, the sand making the familiar noise under her hooves as she moved closer.

The voice was instantly recognizable and he had this sick feeling in his stomach, this was something he didn't have normally. He turned his head slowly and sure enough there stood the blue frame of Dory. He bowed his head and smiled, "Hello Dory. Its a lovely day for a run in the sea!" He chuckled trying to avoid the subject of her remembering his name, she hadn't anyway so why was he hoping? Stupid head!
