I've never had a "set" party... I change it accordingly with every gym battle... Not THE BEST strategy, since every time I have to level up a bunch of pokemon... But it's just how I do it...
Maybe I should get a set party, and that way I can get to where it's fall quicker! eek
Lemme go pick one!

Okay! I'm two days into playing now! I've beat two gyms so far.
Current activity: Searching for a Growlithe. (I CAN'T FIND ONE gonk )
My party:
DESTROYER (togepi) Lv. 17
Ion (flaafy) Lv.17
Sebastian (geodude) Lv.17
Frick (spearow) Lv. 19
Murk (croconaw) Lv. 22

(I CAN'T FIND ONE gonk ) My party: DESTROYER (togepi) Lv. 17 Ion (flaafy) Lv.17 Sebastian (geodude) Lv.17 Frick (spearow) Lv. 19 Murk (croconaw) Lv. 22 Route 37 for your Growlithe! blaugh I've been trying to catch one, but they always do that Roar move that makes my pokemon leave and ends the battle... sad

I caught my growlithe by pure dumb luck. Accidentally threw a pokeball instead of attacking. No damage at all. 3 shakes click
"LOL YOU CAUGHT GROWLITHE" surprised eek
I srsly wish it'd happen more often. My dumbluck kicking in that is.

I'm at Victory Road and all my Pokemon are quite underleveled in my opinion.
Pidgeot lvl 36
Typhlosion lvl 36
Kangaskhan lvl 38
Haunter lvl 43
Gayardos (HM Slave, not Shiny) lvl 20
Kadabra (training) lvl 29
Yeah...I'm not going to be able to beat the Elite 4 for awhile... unless I use the event Pokemon I have stored in the PC... though I may even lose then. Haha.

But I managed to put one to sleep, and caught one! Her name is Irene I've beat four gym leaders now. I need to find a good, strong grass-type. Any suggestions?

I have my team half-assembled, since I'm still so early in the game, and I don't really know what else I want.
But so far when everyone's evolved I'll have : Slowking (Water/Psychic), Vileplume (Grass/Poison), and Typhlosion (Fire).
So, I definitely know that I want an ice type- maybe Piloswine (Ice/Ground)? And then I might get myself an Eevee and make it evolve into an Umbreon for a dark type.
I don't know what I want for my last in my party... maybe a fighting type? Hitmonlee? Maybe a flying type instead? I really have no idea.

  Just got to ecruteak myself, have to beat the leader. So far, my team has turned into vulpix, quilava, totodile, flaaffy, kangaskhan and bayleaf. But I never really stick with the same team, it switches up depending on what i need.
