Now let's see how long I can wait this out.
It is, as of yet, only hitting firefox users right?
Has it expanded to anything else? Most Gaia members use firefox it's going to be a common similarity. Okay - I'm safe then... for now.
This is all just - a big pain in the butt. Mass hysteria has made us all twitchy.

just throwing this out here but i use windows explorer 8.
and i was kicked off my account and was unable to log back in for several mins. when i got back on nothing was gone but i changed my password and cleared my browser instantly. i havent had any other problems and im not 100% sure even what that was. but just saying it might not only be firefox, firefox might just be what most people use.
i have had alot of hackin attemps but there obvious ones like pop ups and people pm'ing me.
hopefully they get this all solved soon tho. for everyone sake XD

Well on my other account i got an item hacked, but it wasn't on firefox but a week later it returned.
I don't know if it was like a glitch or what...

Once in SS's threads yesterday, today in the guild, and twice in breedables, and once I don't remember. Have not had issues logging back in. But I run a norton scan everytime too. That is all the info i have right now lol And I think two of those times, I was actually on....but in one screen it said I was logged out. But when I went to another thread and tab it was fine.

Alter Persona Oh I forgot to add something originally, since all these hackings have started I periodically have been taking a screen shot of my full inventory that also shows my gold and Gcash. Just in case. I also mouse over the time so the date displays as well. This was a really good idea. I honestly didn't think of that... would have saved me a lot of trouble when I was hacked a few months ago (incidentally, I am a firefox user and was hacked out of the blue...). Thanks for posting this thread! It really helps, and now I can reassure myself that it won't happen again by doing more to keep my account safe. smile

Best to clear all forms of information caches on your browser each time your done. No but the very fact that I can still log in, means that if there was an attemp that it didn't suceed, right? But it can't help to run it, along with clearing everything either.

Why don't you make a thread (if you don't have one already) that has names of everyone that posts spam/scams so everyone can add them to their ignored list. Like those ones that ask for Pass and User name ?? I already have two on my list just found out about 2 days ago and I'm on a roll lol. But me and a lot of other people I think would LOVE to know of hackers like that to add to their list and that can also help us prevent hacking's ? Through script's and all sort's of methods they can use ? But it's just a suggestion XDD

But it's just a suggestion XDD Because a majority of the profiles that are posting scripts to hack are profiles that were originally hacked to begin with and chances are the mods will have them disabled within a day.
