"Nice to meet you." Alexis said, "Um we need a place to stay, Damien but...I'm pretty low on funds..." she said, and turned to Sandyy "What about you, Sandyy?"

"I got a hundred in my pocket." she said pulling out a bill. She handed it to Alexis
Darrius walked into town after his hunt. He watched as the cars passed, wondering where everyone else was. He shrugged it off.

Alexis sighed with relief. "Thank you." she said "I think I lost mine running away..." she turnedto Damien "Will this and a..." She pulled out a ten from her pocket "Ten cover our stay for awile?"

Damien waved his hand in dismissal. "You don't need to pay. We've got enough." He picked up the bag that Lanathel had brought and smiled.

Sandyy backed up and hit a table. "Ouch." she cursed then sighed. She moved forward again, holding Alexis' shoulder so she didn't hit anything else.
Darrius walked into the inn. "Hey Damien I'm back." he said, eyeing the two newcomers. "Who are they?" he asked.

Damien smiled. "Hey Darrius. This is Sandyy," he motioned to each with his hand," and Alexis. They're thinking about joining the pack."

Sandyy felt him staring and moved to stand behind Alexis. She closed her eyes.

Alexis stepped back, holding Sandyy's hand and guiding her back with her. "Nice to meet you." she said, nodding her head. "You okay Sandyy? Um...so...where do we stay?"

Damien glared at Darrius for a second, then stood. "Come on. We have a few extra rooms at my house. It's one of those split houses; there's a door that connects them." He smiled and then moved up to Darrius, quietly hissing in his ear so that noone but him could hear,"Quit it! Your scaring her."

"Where are we going?" Sandyy asked Alexis.

"Two houses down and across the street to Damien's house." Alexis told her "Dont worry I won't let you go." She followed Damien, shooting Darrius a dirty look quickly walking by. "Dont worry I won't let him touch you." she whispered to Sandyy.

Damien walked to the door and opened it, letting the girls and Darrius go first.

"THAT'S not what I'm worried about." Alexis said, letting Sandyy go in front of her, as far from Darrius as possible. "So what DO we owe you for this Damien?" she asked.
