’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
Erkamina nodded swiftly as the Mizukage said 'well done'. Even that tiny sliver of praise made her feel appreciated, even if it did come from the Mizukage's lips. He mentioned training and she was all ears, she was already ready with all her tools that she needed- seeing as her first tools were assigned by the academy and the only 'weapon' she'd use was her knife. She noticed the others following him so she shrugged and trailed after them as well. When they arrived, Erkamina had to take a double-take at the sands- they were as black as charcoal. Her eyes went wide at the shear contrast of color. Most beaches either had white or tan sands, not so much black. But this was the Village of Mist, not everything was as it seemed. After closing her unexpectedly open mouth and massaging her jaw a bit she took her position with the two females, not in line with them but slightly farther back from the group, showing her independence and distrust all at once.

Sorain removed his jacket, folding it neatly before removing his cap and placing it over his robes. These two pieces of clothing where the two main symboles of his rank and title in this village. Sorain then removed the top portion of his robes along with his head gear and other small attachments. His arms were wrapped in blue bandages all the way up to his shoulder along with various cuts and scars all over his body. Directly on his chest, was a long scar then went directly over his left pectoral. Sorain rotated his shoulders to loosen the muscles in his body preparing himself to begin his training regiment, he had not put very much thought yet as to how he would go about teaching them. He supposed that the best place to start was to find out exacrtly what their potential was, to judge them and build with what pieces he had. This would also server as a very good demonstration from his new medical ninja, killing two birds with one stone, saving himself time and energy in the process. "We will begin here." He said taking a few steps away until he was little over two yards of distance. Sorain leaned down and drew a deep line in the sand going across where he stood before proceeding to move forward to face them. "Your first task, is to get passed me and make it across that line." He said as he walked around in a circle, dragging his toe along the sand and creating a small perimiter for himself right in front of the line, "I will not move myself from this circle until you have crossed the line. If you make it across the line you then have to remain on that side of the line for at least ten miniuts. I would suggest running." He said calmy before making a fist, cracking each of his knuckles in the process. "When ready, begin. Maya, you will assist them by healing any injuries sustained, however you are not to aid them directly in their task."

Maya Nodded, before relocating to an area where she was relatively out of the way of the three, but still close enough that she would be able to observe and go assist anyone that needed the help. She observed them, noting the way their muscles moved and judged how they were planning on moving.
She still was somewhat of a novice at judging what move someone was going to do by their muscles, but that didn't mean she wouldn't take the time now to observe more and hopefully better her own fighting.
She observed carefully, after all that was what she did best. Using the small brush she had gotten out earlier, Maya wrote down the Kanji for Bird three times. Once she finished the last stroke the lines peeled off the paper, forming into small ink birds which flew up into the air silently. She would use these to keep track of all of them, no need in wasting chakra for now. If she needed to she would make clones later but for now she determined this was the best action she could take.

Erkamina looked somewhat shocked as the Mizukage removed the ceremonial garments that stated his rank above them and showed his arm wrappings as well as various scars of both large and small sizes, including one across the left side his chest that was rather nasty looking- not that she cared. She stretched her arms above her head lazily and then stretched her legs. She then saw a large line in the sand and raised an eyebrow as he said they had to get across that line. Was he kidding? What kind of training was that? Then she heard the 'stay on that side for ten minutes' part which she figured was the actual training. He was much stronger, faster, and more experienced then both of the genin and probably the medic nin combined. She mentally gulped, checking herself in the physical because she had a point to prove and she was going to dive head first into this 'training' and be the first one to succeed. She slid into a ready position and nodded at the kage before studying the line. It wasn't very far away but he mentioned running. She popped her neck slightly and casually walked towards the line, looking at the Kage in his little circle as she walked beside him, stopping to look at him like he had lost his mind before popping her knuckles against the palm of her hand and sighing. How far exactly out did they have to go, exactly, to stay on that side for ten minutes without being caught? There weren't many places, if any, to hide. And even if there were it wouldn't matter with a Kage tracking her down it would probably be a matter of seconds, so she remained safely on this side of the line as she thought. She took a deep breath and looked at the Kage again before thinking of her strategy- sprint as long and as far as she could and find someplace to hide. But would it work? She hazarded to guess it wouldn't but it was worth a shot. So she concentrated on the task at hand and sprinted full speed across his line and ran as far as she could, not daring to stop.

Yua sighed and adjusted the headband around her neck as she listened to what the Mizukage had wanted them to do, it was an interesting training exercise. Yua was concerned about the Mizukage's scars he could have easily had those healed so why didn't he? Yua looked back up towards Maya, she must have been a medical ninja with the way the Mizukage spoke, also was he intending on hurting them. Why else would he have said something like he did to Maya. Yua wasn't liking the idea of this but if this is was he wanted to teach them, then she was willing to learn maybe he was testing their skills. "So then, Erkamina. What form of Jutsu do you use?" Yua asked wondering if she had already been thrown into a specialization, Yua herself knew a few potent Ninjutsu and a few Taijutsu. Yua knew that in hand to hand she stood no chance against the Mizukage. With Ninjutsu she could at least distract him more than she could with Taijutsu. But as long as one of them past this test Yua would be satisfied. She sighed and shifted her feet a little as she stretched her hands out wide and looked right at the Mizukage. "Ok then let's get this started." Yua said as she began to very quickly form hand seals her eyes never moving from the Mizukage as she form the final seal and her cheeks filled and then she opened her mouth and spew water all over the ground. "Ok, here we go Erkamina you may want to try and grab something." Yua said as she formed another set of seals and the water rose up and her Tidal Wave technique actived as the wave went in all direction around her.

Sorain smirked as he saw the fighting spirit awaken inside them both, although they were obviously weaker they went into the challenge head first with a warriors valor that was greatly encouraged in Kirigakure. Sorain for a moment was rather proud that they did not protest this training exercise as most did, the thought of going toe to toe with the Mizukage often put off many other students but these two, they had pride, they had valor, they had the potential to be what Kirigakure stood for. Sorain almost hated what was about to happen, but this was the way it was done. In order to become a favored student, or rather in order to be deemed worthy enough for special training from the Mizukage these test were a must, they would learn through their pain. Sorain thought back to the guiling year that he spent with his brother and the 4th Mizukage, the pain and agony that followed each and every day was almost too much to bare, but because of it Sai and Sorain had learned the most important lesson that Kirigakure had to teach. To fear death, but be brave enough to overcome it. The resist pain, but be strong enough to counter it. In the time that will follow that they are under his wing, they will both experience great strain on their bodies, as they are literally forced to the line of death, allowing them to look over it and see the other side, before being narrowly snatched back to live their lives with no fret for what they have already experianced. If they could survive this training, nothing that ever happens to them outside of Water Country borders will ever be too much for them to take. He would engrave this lesson on their flesh just as the former kage had done with himself.
Sorain eyed Erkamina, almost amused at the courage yet foolishness she had to come so close to him. The point of this excercise was to escape his reach, yet she actually though the direct sprint was the right way to go, "See through disception!" He yelled turning and raising his leg to his chest before slamming it down to the ground, causing the sand to burst into the air, rumbling all around him, distorting the line as well as causing it extremely difficult to remain balanced. He then turned quickly and noticed Yua performing hand signs which he immediatly proceeded to copy, almost exactly at the same pace. His eyes glowed a rippling neon that seemed to pulsate from the bottom to the top, increasing its effectiveness. All around him, everything began visible as well as Yua's hand seals that to him was literally like reading a book. With every sign Sorain could not only see his hands in slow motion, but the flucation of chakra that moved through out his chakra systems as he did, allowing him to quickly recongnize the type of jutsu, and add his own changes to the seals. Sorains high signs ended two signs after Yuas causing the very water than Yua had created to grow even larger, spinning around them before heading directly towards Yua with a massive force, "Your lesson begins now! Cross the line or be killed!" he said, remaining to his word, and not once leaving his circle.

Maya watched the girls, judged them as the Mizukage no undoubtedly was. Despite the fact that They were fighting the Mizukage now, the had no idea how lucky they were. Maya herself was never really tutored by anyone other than her sensei, but she supposed because of the lack of available ninja to teach the genin there was no choice but to have the Mizukage shoulder some of that responsibility. She watched, an in the back of her head was amazed that the Mizukage was taking time out of his undoubtedly busy schedule to help them.
Maya, deciding she would also take notes on the younger genin and even the Mizukage let her brush hover over the paper, making notes when necessary. To truly be an asset as a medic, it was always good to know how your teammates worked. That way it would be easier to identify what happened if they were to get injured. Such things and knowing what hand was their dominant hand while punching could help identify what areas of the body would be left open to injury, and also where self-inflicted injuries were likely to occur.
Just observing them it was obvious where their form was lacking. Compared to the Mizukage who had years of training and experience they left themselves open to attacks even while moving. Although Maya could analyze battles, she admitted that she herself was not good at identifying things like this while she would be fighting. Perhaps she would share some pointers to the others once they finished.

’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
As Erkamina continued her mad dash, the ground began to shake, disturbing the soft sand beneath her and sending her flying full force forward, only to catch herself by her hands and hear the words 'cross the line or be killed' at which she muttered "damn!" under her breath and pushed herself up again and taking a deep breath and continuing her mad sprint away, ignoring Yua's attempt at creating a giant wave behind her. All she had to do was keep running and not stop no matter what. Even if that meant abandoning Yua, so be it. It was kill or be killed in this instance. The wave got larger behind her but she ignored it, running full force until her legs hurt and her lungs burned from holding her breath for so long. She gasped out and in a few times, looking back to see that she had not gotten too far from the Mizukage and his 'line' which was now a small dirt smug in her vision. "s**t!" She said violently as she massaged her legs to regain feeling. She saw motion again and thought to keep running. Hell, it was better than dying. If she did collapse she'd do so on her terms, running like hell. She would have to find a hiding place sooner or later to recover.

Yua's Jaw dropped when the Mizukage used her own technique against her and hit her with a giant swell of water much larger than the one she had created. It hit Yua hard and sent her flying she was shocked at how the Mizukage was not holding back as Yua flew through the air though, she already had a new plan she caught her balance mid air and kept her back to the Mizukage as she formed more hand seals as she plummeted to the ground she moved her index finger and a thumb over her mouth and then faced the Mizukage and exhaled towards the Mizukage spitting out a huge ball of fire. Then she let herself hit the ground, and hard. She should have most likely run but if she could force the Mizukage to move from the circle then she would run, she was also feeling out a bit of Mizukage's abilities. Yua lay on the ground for a moment it may have been sand but it felt like cement. She lay there for a moment and then she rolled over and looked at where the Mizukage had been to see if her fireball had done anything. Yua decided to start her next set of hand seals just to be safe in this situation, she finished her last hand seal and then got to her feet and looked around.

Sorain noticed Erkamina making yet another mad dash to get away from him, it was at this point that he was not sure how to feel about the sitaution. On the one hand, Erkamina was right, in this situation the proper tactic was to flee and gain better ground on the enemy. Being that Sorain was a taijutsu heavy fighter, putting distance between them was excellent tactic which Yua had failed to grasp. However, leaving a comrade behind to fight your battle while you run was dishonorable. Sorain remained calm, trying to decide the best way to continue this training giving the fact that they did literally the one thing that he did not want them to do, which was abandon each other. Every man for himself never has and never will cut it in the Shinobi world. Sorain looked off towards the direction Erkamina was running in, trying to get a good lock on her chakra signatures as well as a prediction as to her running path and speed so that he could better plot his counter. Sorain turned quickly, reaching his hand to his mouth to form a small circle with his index and thumb before expelling a great amount of water from his gullet towards the fireball. As the attack was negated Sorain focused his attention on Yua, though still watching Erkamina through the 360 degree vision he was given through the byakugan. This was interesting, he began to think. Although what they did was stratigically not sound, and would never fly in the field, he did find himself in a rather tight predicament. Erkamina was slowly reaching the limits of his range and although he could easily hunt her down and gain ground on her, he was bound by his word to remain in the circle until they both crossed the line. Was this there tactic? For yua to stay here and battle it out with him, forcing attacks, so that Sorain would be forcued to remain in the circle, while Erkamina was free to wait the time out? Either that was perfect planning or sheer dumb luck, either way sorain was happy to see that his genin were not complete idiots after all.
"Its time to really begin" He said forming hand sings so rapidly that they all seemed to blur together as one quick formation, in both of his hands two thick black clouds formulated, resembling that of a storm cloud, covering his hands almost like a glove. Sorain twisted himself, firing the first of the clouds at the start of the spin aimed high, and the seccond at the close of the spin aimed low. These clouds were meant to engulf their targer and reduce visiablity. As soon as he felt as though the clouds were about to hit he quickly turned,"Void Style: Cosmic Camo/Void Style: Ranton - Storm Clones "he thought to himself, Sorain took off in a mad dash, out of the circle and towards Erkamina, his speed easily trippled hers as he was able to gain ground on her quickly. Sorain curved himself and cut her off, swinging his leg over the ground towards her legs.

(( Anyone missed me? :3 )) "Move faster fat a**! C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!!" Vyrin whined as he racked back and forth on Voir's back, his impatience at how slow the dragon was moving definitely getting to him. It had been a few days since they had left the Sand Village and made their way back to Water Country, leaving behind Sai to go his own way. It was frustrating, Vyrin wanted to be with Sai not back here where the only people he knew was his Uncle Sorain who was always busy with his projects and kage business to play or train with. And his sister Katsuko, who he got rather tired of hanging around all the time. He loved the girl like she really was his sister but seeing the same face over and over again did get tiring... Cept with Sai, who always had to cause some sort of trouble or doing something silly. "And you call yourself a storm dragon?! What type of bullshit is this, hunh? Can't you go any faster!! I'm... Wait, what the..." The young boy's head tilted to the side questioningly as the pair flew over head a black beach. It wasn't the color that caught his attention but rather the commotion that was going on down below. There was four people, three of which he didn't recognize and the final he wasn't sure how he felt about seeing in this situation. Was his uncle really training some genin? After all the times he asked for training or sparring sessions and was denied... He was training some bullshit group of genin? They had to be genin, fresh ones from the way they moved and attacked. "Oh... This is so not flying. Voir, mind teaming up with me for a short bit? I think Uncle Sorain owes us a nice welcome back and I definitely want to make sure he does it right~"The boy's face stretched into a wide grin as the dragon growled back at him and dipped down slightly before plummeting rapidly towards Erkamina and Sorain. Rapidly the dragon grew in speed as it neared the ground, changing course only so it could fly just above the sands as it zipped towards the pair. "OI UNCLE!!! SAI'S SAYS YOU'RE A DOUCHE!" Vyrin blurted out from Voir's back, the black sands scattering away from the two as their speed caused it to split and raise away like a parting sea. In the boy's right hand he held a curved sword with the blade on the inner side. His left hand however was firmly pressed against Voir's head as he stood up on the dragon and edged towards his snout. Kicking off from the dragon's body and flipping his body foreword and over Voir, Vyrin closed his hand tightly against the beasts skull. Suddenly, the dragon's entire form shone a dark black before disappearing completely as Vyrin landed just a short distance from Sorain and the other girl, his left hand firmly hold a sword. "Hope you don't mind the intrusion, but it's been so long and I feel quite left out~" He chimed out playfully with a large smile on his face.

’I shall fight to honor the name of Kaiten, the name of my father…
Erkamina saw movement out of the corner of her eye but her mind was too slow to process what was going on and she tripped head-long over the Mizukage's leg. She landed hard on her hands and knees, skidding forward and leaving nicely visible scrape patterns on her hands. "What the hell..." She said swiftly as she realized what he'd done which was make her look like a complete fool. She looked into the distance to see the large storm cloud-like thing engulfing the area. She went wide eyed and knew she was clearly out matched. But she wasn't one to give up. From her position she saw her error in speed-judgment. She stood back up and dusted her knees off, blood could be seen from the tears that the sand had made in her pant-legs. She sighed and stretched again, trying to make her knees and legs stop throbbing. But the throbbing just kept coming. She stared at him for the longest time and gently sauntered back towards the line but not back over it just yet, she was too proud to willingly retake her position by Yua to start over. But something felt off and her instinct- if you will- said to go back. And as much as she hated to, she had to 'save' Yua. Or rather fight by her side. However, she was just a novice, she didn't even have an elemental jutsu. Wait, didn't the Mizukage just use a whole slew of elemental... No, she couldn't ask the man that she hated so much for such a favor, could she. "I have no choice..." She thought as she stood within two steps of the line, turning back towards the Mizukage. "Teach me a jutsu." She said plainly, not 'asking' per say, more 'telling' or even 'demanding' then anything but something triggered in her mind that changed her tone real quick "please teach me, something with Water Chakra, it's supposedly my element."

Yua jumped up to her feet one of her legs almost giving out the fall had hurt her badly, she had landed hard on her back and was winded but the fight had not left her she was prepared to exhale her fireball again when a huge cloud engulfed her, she couldn't see anything. She exhaled in a random direction but also inhaled at the same time burning her throat. She coughed as she stood in the cloud the haze from it burned her eyes a little as she wandered around she had meant to learn a wind based Jutsu, but had never gotten around to it. She decided the best way to get out of the cloud was to go up so she leaped as high as she could, but it still wasn't high enough this was a top notch Jutsu, she also heard voices outside the cloud and the she shrugged, and sat for a moment her back and legs where killing her and she had already wasted so much Chakra. "Erkamina better have got away i hated that she ran but stalling was my best tactic to make sure one of us got away." Yua said as she rubbed her back and then stood and then picked a direction and took off as fast as she could, she just kept running until she came out of the cloud luckily it was in the direction Erkamina and the Mizukage where also some odd man Yua had never seen before. She stopped and stood there wondering if the training was still going or if there was something else going on.
