Hisaki mentally mapped out the scenario in his head, taking into account everyone's personal condition. First is me. I'm low on chakra, and slightly bruised. I don't have any major damage yet. Second is Yuki. Yuki's body is in fine shape, but he's gotta be in the red as far as chakra goes. He's been using his Wind Sickle Jutsu and his Mind Body Switch Technique all over the place. On the other hand, he might actually be in bad shape; both of those are his element, and he's done a lot of work with them to master them. If I'd payed more attention to him earlier with my Byakugan, I'd know for sure. For my plan, I'll assume he's low. The third piece of the plan is Daidai. Daidai is still moving, but he's gotta be hurting. Even though his chakra is negligible, his body is a wreck from my attacks. It has to be. Explosions generally don't discriminate against people with a lot of muscles.

Assuming Daidai can't take too much more before he falls, and that Yuki is getting low on energy... I'll have to take out Daidai solo. I can approach from the back, then use kunai. After that, I'll follow up with two Gate Openers. One in each hand. Can I do that again? That Fireball Jutsu really sapped me of usable chakra. I'll have to push it. If I can get those two attacks off, I'll be golden. Following Daidai's defeat, I'll send up a signal for nearby Police Nin, and inform them of the three of them, their crimes, and the fact that they most likely need medical attention. Me and Yuki will meet back up, get all the ramen, then deliver them. We'll then report back to Sosuke Akamichi. He'll tell us that the late delivery means nothing to him, and that the one delivery only takes one ryo off the three-fifty, then we can report the failure back to Satoru. He'll get mad and send us home as failures. After that, we won't be seeing a fun mission for a long, long time... This. Plan. SUCKS!

Hisaki growled as he caught up to Daidai. He was about twenty feet to the massive ninja's back, and the oaf didn't even know he was there. Hisaki made his move, playfully thinking, I suppose Yuki would think of this as the Knight taking down the Rook.

Hisaki suddenly bursted forward. In only a second or two, Hisaki's fingers had reached into his kunai pouch and extracted a pair of kunai by their circular finger holes. In a fluid motion, he pulled them out and passed one two his off hand. Just as he caught the blade, he crossed his hands, and threw the pair of blades at the muscular ninja. They flew through the air at astonishing speeds, and a loud slosh signaled that they'd hit the mark! Daidai began to drop forward, and Hisaki didn't miss a beat. Within the second, his feet were planted on Daidai's back, with both his withdrawing the kunai. He threw them aside, he needed room for his next strike. Hisaki pressed his hands hard against the huge ninja's back, and yelled, "Brillant Key, engulfed in roaring flames; your flickering golden bow rests in my hand. Open the way! First Realm: Gate Opener!"

Suddenly there were two small explosions on Daidai's back (they weren't as big as the kind that knocked out Nashi earlier, considering there wasn't any oil nearby to utilize). As Daidai's body came to a stop, Hisaki jumped off, and looked down at the large ninja, "You done for the day?"

There was a steady silence, and Hisaki slid his foot beneath Daidai's body. With a quick pull of his leg, Daidai turned over onto his back. As far as Hisaki could tell, Daidai was out like a light. Hisaki pulled out a cigarette, and lit with a small flame in his hand. He puffed a few small puffs a smoke, then looked up to the sky. He took a deep breath of the rich smoke, then exhaled. Instead of the normal grey fumes of the cigarette, obtrusive red one poured from his mouth in the form of a massive maroon cloud. Now all he had to do was wait now. Any time, a cop-ninja would be here to pick up the mess.

Yuki ran as fast as his long legs would carry him. He had to get away from the irritable Team Kaju members, in fact, they only had one left, Daidai. Although he lacks brains and intelligence like his comrades, he makes up for it in determination, beefy defenses, and brute strength.

It would be easy, Yuki would circle around and grab what is left of the Ramen Containers while his more fight efficient friend would take care of anyone that needs to be roughed up. I have one container, there's one in the apartment, and the two left in the alleyway. If I take a wide, and confusing, turn, I'll lose Daidai and can pick up the rest of the containers no problem. We'll have missed the deadline, but I have this gut feeling that this mission was more than just delivering Ramen to begin with...

Even before the Yamanaka could plan out a route to addle his pursuer, Hisaki had come from behind and took him out, signaling with his disgusting habit to the nearby guards. "Thank you!" He shouted over his shoulder as he focused on his jog around the city to pick up the remaining Ramen. Review time. Ringo is done for, thanks to his open wound. Nashi was taken care of by Hisaki with my help, and Daidai was also taken out by my ally. All the Team Kaju members are incapacitated and no long able to intrude on our affairs. I think we can call that a checkmate.

Not even five minutes later, a police nin appeared at Hisaki's location. He swooped down from the buildings above, and stared at the incapaciated ninja at their feat. There was a moment of silence, then Hisaki said, "Wanna clean the street here, that way," he said pointing backwards, "and on a rooftop that way? It's a long story, but they aughta-"

"HISAKI! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO NOW?!" Hisaki practically fell backwards at the cop's sudden outburst and said, "Well... you see... Me and Yuki were happily prancing around, delivering ramen when: BAM! We were trapped by Team Kaju! And then they faught us, but BISHUU WAM BAM! I beat them up, and they ran away with the ramen! So we went after them, and attacked them in their apartment, then this guy ran away with a ramen package. I chased after him, but then SHWIP! I was caught in another trap! Then Yuki was all like, 'ah ha HA, all your leaders are belong to us!' and then I went all uber-pewnage, and escaped the trap! And I attacked, and he ran, and then I took the dude down. Now they need lots of Phoenix Downs. Ahuh, that's what happened." The Cop stared at him blankly, totally lost in Hisaki's gamer-istic rant.

Now's my chance!, Hisaki suddenly took off, yelling to the utterly confused police officer, "Just clean up for me, kay?"
PostPosted: Tue Jul 06, 2010 4:19 pm

Yuki dashed into the apartment the same way he had exited, through the window. The place was a mess, mostly from himself throwing around his wind based jutsu all over the place, but he noticed strings and tiny gadgets all over the place. Without giving much thought of it besides that it was how Team Kaju used their numerous traps throughout the apartment, he swept through the place, looking for the second container.

It didn't take him long to find it, but he was interrupted by an angry thought that had burst in his mind. Yamanaka Yuki! A familiar voice shouted, making his head spin slightly. Yes father? Yuki stood still as he concentrated, it was still a bit difficult to use his clan's telepathy sometimes, since he usually focuses on other things other than talking to people via telepathy. I have just been sent three teenagers who have a good amount of wounds each that are said to have been in a fight with you and Hisaki Hyuuga. What exactly were you doing today? Yuki sighed, closing his eyes as he did so Hisaki and I went on a Ramen delivery mission when they decided to mug us. At first, we just tried to stall them long enough for the both of us to run, but then one of them escaped into a nearby apartment that they have fortified. Next, we needed to get back the two containers of Ramen stolen, so we thought of a quick plan to retrieve it. At first it worked, but... Yuki paused, how would he tell his father about his experience with Ringo's mind?

But what? His father's voice boomed again. It's nothing. In the end, we got back all the Ramen containers. Yuki answered back, but his effort was wasted. The young teenager could probably drown in the amount of anger his father's voice now presented, One teen was covered with kunai stabs and from what I can tell, small explosions to the chest. Another one had the same explosive imprint, but on his back. Also, an interesting thing that I found was that you used our clan jutsu to take over his body, I didn't have to trace his memory that far back to see that one. Yuki was practically wincing from the conversation. The third teen is lucky enough that his leg was not sliced directly in half! You also tried to use the jutsu on him too, but something happened, which you had left out of your description.

There was a pause between the two Yamanaka's, until Yuki's father spoke again, I will not tell your mother what has happened, but you are suspended from the training I have been giving you for you to become a medical nin. As a medical ninja you would not have had to hurt these people, but merely slow them down for the rest of your team to do their job. You have failed in that duty obviously, so now you're suspended from learning anymore unless you smarten up.

Yuki grunted as he broke the link with his father, how dare he suspend him from training! Learning new techniques and strategies to become a medical nin was wasteful, because Yuki didn't want to become one, but it still proved useful! He shook his head and bitterly picked up the second Ramen container and rushed out of the apartment via window.

Hisaki leaped through the air effortlessly. With every moment that passed, he was regaining some of his chakra. Now that he was out of battle, and more relaxed, it felt almost second hand. On the plus side, I think I've gotten a little more powerful since the beginning of this mission.

Suddenly Hisaki heard someone call his name from behind him. Hisaki looked back and felt something hard smash him in the face. He tumbled downward and smashed into the rooftop he was jumping to below. Hisaki sat up and rubbed the blood from his nose, then said, "What the hell?" Looming over Hisaki was another Konoha Military Police Nin. The ninja was about a foot taller than Hisaki, and had a similar jester cap, though the newcomer's was longer and older. Between lips lined with scruffy hair was a cigarette, one of the same brand of tobacco Hisaki's mouth. A pair of shades covered a [air of the Hyuuga Clan's White Eyes. This was Kasei Hyuuga, Hisaki's father. "Dad? What the hell was that for?!" Hisaki yelled, flailing his arms.

"Ootara says you were in a fight. Is that right sonny-boy?" Kasei said, grabbing his son's cheeks and pulling hard, "You have some 'splaining to doo~" Hisaki stared hard into the shades, grabbed his father's hands, and ripped them away from the red marks on his face now. Hisaki took a drag from his cigarette, and began the story, going into every detail. The idiot at the offices, the mission, the ramen shop, Team Kaju, the battle, their escape, and so on. "And that's what happened." He said.

Kasei relaxed, "Well, good going. I gotta feeling that Masaki Yamanaka won't be happy with Yuki. I wouldn't doubt that he's being mentally scolded as we speak. As for you... Take these." Kasei grabbed a pair of scrolls from his belt, "Unlike Yuki's dad, I'm a cool dad." In the split second between that and the next sentence, Hisaki thought, Cool dad's don't punch their son's face in to say 'hi'...

"These three items should come in handy for whatever the heck you're doing out there. Just don't kill anyone or something... Ok? I have a feeling you'll know exactly what they do when you open the scroll." Kasei looked off into the city, "I should get going. I have rounds to do. See you later, buddy." Kasei made a handseal, and wind whirled up around him. Leaves poured from the trees in the area, and made a spinning leaf whirlwind. With a pop, Kasei was gone, and the leaf swirl faded into a small circle of foliage. Hisaki got up and pocketed the scrolls. He had no clue what was inside, but he didn't need to deal with it now. Hisaki took a running start, and leaped to the next building towards the apartment complex.

Upon seeing the apartments, Hisaki jumped to the building where he and Yuki had dropped off the ramen containers earlier that day. He grabbed one in each hand, and saw Yuki not far off. Even in the setting sun, Yuki looked as white as a ghost... Like he'd just seen a ghost...

Hisaki called over to him, "Ey! Yuki! Get the hell over here. I have no clue where we're going anymore!" Hisaki put down the ramen containers and looked around impatiently.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 06, 2010 5:44 pm

Yuki's head snapped over to Hisaki, an oddly cold look displayed on his face, "Of course you don't, your attention span wouldn't allow you to listen to our sensei." And with that, Yuki darted off down their original intended shortcut, hoping to get this over and done with. "We need to train, a lot more. I am dissatisfied with how we handled things today." He paused, he knew Hisaki would follow him so he expected him to listen, hopefully. "If you are up for it, I think we need to squeeze in some time for some more training." Seeming as how I have a lot more time on my hands now that I've been suspended.

Yuki then sped up, trying to get this mission over and done with, "I apologize for not being of more use." He half whispered as he dashed quickly around a corner. Their destination wasn't much farther, as Yuki referenced his mental map he had made earlier that day.

"Woah Yuki, harsh." Hisaki said with a grin. He'd seen Yuki get like this before. Usually when something rather bad happened. Hisaki had the feeling that Yuki just got neck deep in trouble with this mission. Hisaki darted off after the gloomy genin, holding both ramen containers, one in each hand. Hisaki heard Yuki talking ahead, and honed in on what he was saying, "We need to train, a lot more. I am dissatisfied with how we handled things today. If you are up for it, I think we need to squeeze in some time for some more training." He said.

The words hit Hisaki hard, Woah. What happened? Outside of missions, Yuki always, and I mean ALWAYS trains for being a med-nin with his dad. Whether it's reading stacks of medical books or practicing med-nin maneuvers, he's always at it. I can't think of many times we've really trained together as a team... What did his dad say to him? What could have he said... Did he tell Yuki that he's not training him anymore? s**t, I bet that's it. That's tough... really tough...

Hisaki then heard Yuki mumble, "I apologize for not being of more use." Hisaki's jaw hit the floor, "What? What the hell do you mean? This has gotta be because of something your dad said, isn't it? I mean... I ran into my dad on the way to you, and he predicted that he'd telepathically talk to you or something..." Hisaki seriously had no clue how that even worked, but he continued, "Dude, you gotta let that kinda mindset go! You did great out there today, man. You pulled off that Mind Split thingy you've been working on, and you held up your chakra through the entire fight! You even did a great distraction job when I was caught in that trap! If it weren't for you, I'd totally be in a bind right now..."

Hisaki caught up to Yuki as they went around a corner, making sure he got eye contact as he did. As he looked forward again, he winced, Crap, I'm gonna look like a total softy after this...
PostPosted: Tue Jul 06, 2010 6:31 pm

"Who cares what my father thinks? I admit he is intelligent, although a mediocre medical nin, he doesn't think properly! For someone who is telepathic and deals with the human mind a lot, he is rather close minded!" Yuki shouted in rage. It could have been just the teenage stage of mind where rebellion sets in or it could have been just pure rage, but he could not control his mind as it boiled with his audacity.

He let a moment pass, to let Hisaki's encouraging words sink in, and it did make him feel more calm, but at the same time, weak. If Yuki were to show weakness, someone could pinpoint a weakness on him and utilize it. "Thanks." He muttered, locking eyes with Hisaki for a second as they went around a corner to show his sincerity.

"Now, before we start planning cuddle time, our destination is close by. Its a maroon house and should have a sign outside." Yuki slowed down to scan his surroundings, many of the nearby buildings were all different shades of red, and some had signs on them, mostly showing of their clan's symbol. "Found it!" He called out, strolling up to an average looking house, "Eh, should we knock on their door and hand it to them? or just leave them on the porch and knock?" Yuki asked awkwardly, they weren't given specific directions on what to exactly do once they got there.

Hisaki took in Yuki's words, he seemed to be feeling better. Although he still sounded a little more rambunctious than usual, he definitely seemed to be in better spirits. Then, in that same attitude, he said, "Now, before we start planning cuddle time, our destination is close by." Yuki then explained what the house looked like, then soon after, spotted it. Hisaki landed next to Yuki in front of the house, and Yuki pointed out a few ways to leave the ramen.

Hisaki ignored him completely, and walked up to the door. He set down the ramen, and knocked. No answer came. Hisaki knocked again, and a man inside said, "Yeah, I'm coming." The door opened and revealed a man only a few years older than himself.

The man looked at Hisaki and said, "What took you guy's so long? What ever happened to delivery in thirty minutes or whatever?" Hisaki was about to answer the question when a girl (also only a few years older than Hisaki) appeared behind the guy, and said, "Hey, the ramen's here! Chen, why aren't you paying these kids yet?"

Chen looked over at the girl, and kissed her, "Yeah, why don't you go get the tea off the stove and I'll have them in the table in a sec." The girl giggled, then ran back inside, "You two are lucky that Sosuke's joint has those special Ramen holders. They keep it nice and hot for hours. Hand them over two me." Hisaki handed his two over, and Chen opened them up. Like he said, there were two scalding hot bowls of ramen inside. He quickly ran the bowls inside, then came back for Yuki's two.

After that, he paid the bill, and threw in a meager tip for the two of them. Following that, the door closed, leaving Hisaki and Yuki alone outside. Hisaki counted the money in his hand, and said, "Jeez. What a penny pincher..."
PostPosted: Wed Jul 07, 2010 5:28 pm

Yuki grew even more angered after hearing their customer complain about how long it took the pair to deliver it, but he was quite glad that the young girl extinguished the man's rage. After he explained the special Ramen holders, Yuki's bad temper quickly shifted over to Sosuke and how he urged them to hurry.

Despite the small tip, he was glad that their mission was done. "Well what did you expect? We were lucky we even acquired a tip. I'm just glad this is done, and we won't see Team Kaju anytime soon." He flashed a quick, maniacal grin before continuing, "Well, let's report back to Sensei before he rings up another colossal tab."

(sorry that was a pathetic post inu :C )

Hisaki shook his head, and said, "Dude. We gotta bring the cash back to Sosuke Akamichi first. We do that and then go back to Sensei." Hisaki closed his eyes and made an over-dramatized saddened face, "AND THEN WE FAIL!!!" Hisaki wiped away the melodramatic tears, and continued with his trademark happy-go-lucky smile, "Let's do it!"

Hisaki dashed down the street, and suddenly had a realization. His eyes darted from one side of the street to the other, and he began to see a path he could take. It would take almost half the effort to take it, and he might even move faster! Hisaki took a jump, and ran alongside the side of the building for just a moment. He then kicked off, and did a one-eighty to plant his feet on the building across the street. He had only just touched the sides when he bounced off again. He did this for almost an entire street, bouncing from building to building with ease. Each bounce gave him greater distance from Yuki.

Hisaki noted the difference in their speeds, and slowed down to let the slow poke catch up. Just as they were neck and neck again, the ramen shop entered Hisaki's sights. He made a skidding stop in front of the restaurant and brushed himself off before entering. "HEY, MR. SOSUKE!" Hisaki yelled as he entered. Very quickly, the large man busted from the steaming kitchen.

"What took you two so long! It's been a whole hour since I sent you out! At this rate, you'll be paying back your sensei's debt for weeks! Where's the cash from this order?" The man roared. Hisaki handed over the cash, then said, "Well, you see, we ran into these guy's called Team Kaju, and we beat the snot out of them-" Suddenly Sosuke's face grew red and tense.

The sudden yell he made sent Hisaki jumping, as well as the rest of the restaurant, "YOU BEAT TEAM KAJU!?!" Hisaki meekly nodded, and the man smiled, "Well done, my boy! That damned team of rogue ninja has been interrupting my deliveries for months! My delivery business will be back up and running now thanks to you two! I-um..." He shuffled around, going to the cash register for something, then returning with two cards, "Here," he said, handing them a pair of light blue cards, "These are a pair of free meal tickets. You can get a ramen here next time you're in the area, on the house. As for the debt, consider it payed off. I'll be making that kind of cash back in a few weeks now that we can make deliveries again. Really, thanks alot!"

Hisaki stared at the man, then the ticket, and nodded, "'Kay then. Well Sosuke, my man, we better get going before the Ninja Offices close. We want to call this mission Completed before Sensei leaves the office. You know, to rub it in his face just a bit." The large man made a rumbling laugh, and saw them to the open doorway. As Hisaki and Yuki took off into the village, back towards the Mission Offices, Hisaki smiled, and said, "Well, that went a hell of a lot better than I thought."
PostPosted: Fri Jul 09, 2010 7:42 pm

Yuki grunted at Hisaki's melodramatic performance, but did agree with the fact that they needed to see the Akamichi man first. "It's almost sundown, so we don't have much time until the offices are closed."

The blond followed the jester hat wearing Hyuuga down the street, or at least he tried to before Hisaki did some fancy footwork and increased the distance between them. Yuki frowned, Of course, typical Hisaki. As soon as he has enough chakra to pull something off, he burns it right off. On the other hand, I like to reserve my chakra for a bigger effect, like a time bomb. His frown then molded into a clever smirk, Hence why he is the knight, great when the board is crowded mostly during the middlegame, but the bishop is more powerful in the endgame for it is more maneuverable. And guess who is the bishop? Yuki let out a small chuckle, before glaring at Hisaki again for being so far ahead, and began to slow down.

"HEY, MR. SOSUKE!" He shouted, much to the Bishop's dislike. The robust man scrambled from the kitchen towards the two Genin. He began to complain about how they both took too long, and that they were probably going to have to deliver loads more ramen. Yuki sighed and nodded when Hisaki explained the situation, "You see? We were not dawdling."

Sosuke's face turned maroon and gave an astonished yelp that made Yuki jump backwards and even began to shake slightly afterwards. "YOU BEAT TEAM KAJU?!" Hisaki and Yuki almost nodded in unison until he began to praise the two smaller ninja on their accomplishment. He was handed a free meal card too, even though he would pay anyways to help out.

Sosuke thanked them as the Knight and Bishop took off towards the Mission Offices, to finally complete the mission. Hisaki commented on how well the situation went as they hurried to the offices, "Just wait until we tell Satoru-senpai that we payed off his debt in a single hour. In fact, let me tell him that we finished it easily."

It wasn't long until they graced the Mission Offices with their benevolent presence, as Yuki took a deep breath to put on his poker face as he opened the office of Satoru-senpai. "We have finished your mission for you Satoru-senpai. However, instead of coming back successful, I regret to inform you, we have failed. In fact, we increased your debt to an astronomical rate. Sosuke told us to just go back and warn you, because he found it cheaper to hire ANBU to assassinate you instead of using us to repay your debt." A maniacal grin spread across Yuki's face, "But don't worry, we'll try and protect you from your unfortunate meeting with the ANBU."

Satoru-senpai didn't even utter a word before being bullied by the obviously joking genin. At first, his jaw dropped as his face turned various colors, but then he regained his composure as he saw through Yuki's joke. "Very funny Yamanaka, so have you repayed my debt or not?" Yuki nodded with a frown, he was disappointed that Satoru wasn't as naive as Yuki thought. "Here, please take your reward, and leave. Quickly."
