1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
Hmmm... I'm not exactly experienced in the critique part...
Buuut, I have been attempting a few original stories lately, my only fault is that I can never finish them...
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I believe that I might be around the original stories and fanfiction subs more than anywhere else. Er, oh my, I forgot to answer the first part. Well, the fact that I can post my own works without feeling overly stressed might be a new experience~
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
I'd like to attempt in writing my own little stories, maybe help my vocabulary uses and grammar issues.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
Mmmmm, I'm an ani/manga freak, so, don't mind If I go twitchy once in a while~
ALSO... I am pretty simple minded and dense, don't use sarcasm around me, I might take offense sometimes... I'm not quick to anger, but quick to get annoyed... And bored.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique?
Well... to be honest, I have no good experience really in both areas of literature, but I am hoping I may be able to step up and become a great writer.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I think original stories and fanfictions are right for me. Maybe the classroom section... I'm not for sure yet.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
I'd like to become better at writing anime/manga fanfictions along with role-playing her on gaia.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
I'm am a bit shy around others, but hopefully I can grow to like everyone here. ^_^

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.) I have been writing ever since I learned that I was able to create my own stories. I have a very active imagination and I enjoy allowing it to roam freely and create whatever my mind can conjure up. Since I am not artistically gifted, I choose to express myself through writing. As for being a critique, many people in my school bring their works to me because I am really good at catching typos and I discuss their paper with them. I talk about the things that they do well, and I tell them things that they could work to improve. I enjoy helping my friends and classmates out this way.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? I will probably spend an equal amount of time in all of the threads, I like to go through the forums and read a little bit from each one. I think that original thoughts and stories might occupy most of my time, because I like to read about other people's ideas.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? I would like to use them in my everyday life. I will be going to college to study literature so any tips or skills that I can pick up will be useful. I am an aspiring author, so many of the skills that the users in this guild help me to attain will be put to good use.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you? My name is Terra. My biggest pet peeve is people being rude. If you get to know me you will find that I am very polite. I believe in the golden rule, "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you."

Wow. I've posted several of my writings up here but never actually filled this out. So, um, sorry.
1) I write fanfiction, or poetry sometimes. I actually LOVE reading, and I've been reading and writing my whole life. When I was younger I would write stories, but now I stick to fanfiction oneshots because they're so much more simpler, and I'm actually like a fanfiction addict now. It's crazy. Haha. I don't write as much anymore, though I am forever musing about things and trying to think up a new story. It's difficult, now. Life's getting busier and all...
2) The fanfictions and poems? I don't know.. that's where I've been spending most of my time. 'Did anyone review me yet? No.... Oh, look! Something for Harry Potter!' Also, poems are short, simple, and can be so lovely when worded right. I love popping by that section in my spare time. =P
3) Apply the skills. Uh, duh. Like what that one person... [was it Ren?] said about my poem. I now constantly am on the lookout for figurative language. I want to KNOW MORE.
4) I love reveiws. I love GOOD reveiws. Even if you have a lot of criticism to give my story, I'll take it happily so long as you can find one thing you enjoyed. I know that's selfish, but it makes me happy, builds my confidence and all that. Hah. Also, I'm a freshman in a high school where the honors classes are a joke. It's a wonder people even like my stories, what with how young and inexperianced I am. I am glad you like them, though.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critic? I've worked as an editorial assistant on a memoir, pulled ridiculous all-nighters as an editorial assistant on a literary magazine, and also am getting a couple of illustrations published in a literary magazine. I also run a critique group for Speculative Fiction that meets on Vancouver Island, am a member-at-large of the Victoria Writers' Society, and occasionally crash Professional Editors Association of Vancouver Island shindigs. I've epublished a few short stories for free, and will probably epublish my current novella (easier finding unicorns than markets for novellas). I write a blog about epublishing and social media, and am acting as a publishing assistant for a woman self-publishing her novel, including designing her website and helping her epublish, and design and maintain a website for a professional editor. I also sometimes manage to find time to write speculative fiction. I have a perennially unfinished novel about fairies and werewolves and angels, and reams and reams of short stories from the writing group I helped run in high school. 2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? Right now I'm really into de-demonizing epublishing and self-publishing, because they really can be viable. I'm also looking for good amateur authors to encourage, and might be able to be talked into doing press for someone I think is really good (I need more of a web portfolio anyway)(PM me). 3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? Market myself better! 4) Anything else you want us to know about you?I'm sarcastic, and can't stand the Sincerist movement, either in poetry or as a mode of social congress. I don't sleep enough, and so am occasionally incoherent. I'm twenty.

Why hello there~ blaugh
1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)
Mmmmm, I suppose I have a decent amount of experience under my belt. I've been writing fanfiction since I was 14; I am 22, currently. To date, I've written one BSB fanfic (go ahead and cringe), 2 Dir en grey fanfics, and one Escaflowne fanfic as collaborations with 24ko, another member of this guild. Well, except for the BSB fanfic; that was cowritten with someone else. xd I've also written one Angel Sanctuary fanfic and is/was in the process of its sequel, but it's been on hiatus for ages - literally.
So yes, I've got a lot of fanfiction experience. xd However, I'm also in the process of a manuscript for an original novel that I hope to get published.
Aside from novels, I've been writing poetry since I was around 12 years old...? 3nodding Also, while I was in college and part of the school newspaper, all of the articles I wrote for the paper ended up making it into the newspaper - go me GO! xd
Oh, and I'm sort of an avid RP-junkie wiff 24ko... just throwing that out there. sweatdrop
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I believe that ultimately I'm just interested in being a part of a guild full of writers. I feel that we'll all be able to get more feedback from each other in a place like this. At the moment, I'm not sure where I'll be spending most of my time, here - my interests are so varied, even within the realm of writing, that I'll probably end up being the social butterfly - popping in and out of all places. xd
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Oh, I definitely hope to be able to apply the skills acquired from this guild to my manuscript... The ultimate goal here is to get published! whee
4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
Mmmmm... let's see, here. My middle name backwards is Eel. blaugh No, seriously. I guess it should be noted that I'm not a big fan of AU fanfics. I can understand some artistic license with canon, but when the entire pre-existing plot is thrown out, I can't help but wonder why a person couldn't just adapt it into an original work? For example, "the highschool AU," where all pre-existing characters are randomly inserted into a giant highschool that never existed in canon. I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion on this matter. But it's definitely not my cup of tea. Also, perhaps oddly, I've found it difficult to get into songfics. I'm not entirely sure why. I just... haven't.
As far as genre is concerned I'm enjoy reading a variety of things, so long as they're not too dry. Most, if not all, of the things that I write have fallen into the drama/romance genre, and I enjoy most things paranormal. I've also been known to write a little graphically. That means smut, and that means gore. Er, not necessarily together. sweatdrop

@Brenli - Oh don't LIE. Need I remind you of Astyroth and his Oz? Oh yes. I think I do. whee
Okay. Now on to me....
1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)
Oh, jeese. I wrote my first fanfiction when I was twelve years old. It was for Aladdin! I'm not even joking. Don't make fun of me. 3nodding Anyway, I've been writing a lot of Fanfiction over the years. My fanfiction adventures have taken me through the world of Gargoyles, Escaflowne, both the series AND movie version, Avatar:the Last Airbender, and even Final Fantasy 7. I'm currently working on THREE original novels. (I have a short attention span.) I do hope to get at least one of them published, one day. 3nodding
I currently have read and even own a TON of books on the art of creative writing. I have taken bits and pieces from each of these books to develop my own sort of take on writing technique. I believe that I'm definitely a good editor/critique. Brenli can vouch for me! 3nodding
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
I'm definitely looking forward to sharing my work, and helping others improve their own work. Writing is a very beautiful art, and it's tragic how a lot of writers believe that they have to work alone. It's not true, I'm telling you! We writer's have to stick together.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
I want to fly to the moon....
Naw, I'm kidding. I'm hoping that whatever I gather from this guild will only make me improve. heart
4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
In case you can't tell, Brenli and I are totally buds. We've been bouncing ideas off of each other since... gosh... FRESHMEN year? And we're both 22, now. If I can recommend anything to ANYBODY in this guild, it's to get a writing buddy. They're freakishly inspirational.
As a matter of fact, I do accept full credit for getting Bren to write her freakishly AMAZING Angel Sanctuary Fanfiction, that spanned over forty chapters and got over 200 reviews on FF.net. Yep. I told her to get up off her butt and write a fanfic. Because I rock. 3nodding

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.) I use to be a "great" writer in school. Always being praised on my "impressive, college level" work but since then I've lost my muse.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? I'll most likely read the work of others to hopefully regain what I lost and get inspired again
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? I'll use them to improve my material. To finally get past this writers block I have had for the past 2 years.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you? I can handle criticism so no need to beat around the bush. Just tell me what you honestly think and that's all I ask

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? (unofficial stuff on the side like hobbies counts too. Don't be afraid to say you're just getting interested in writing if that is the case.)
Literature critique? Not very much experience in that particular field, I must say. I've done some editing on writing for my friends, but that's about it. As for experience with writing, I'm pretty far from professional, but I do like to write a lot. I've got a few stories started, and they're going to be reasonably long if I ever get around to finishing them.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here?
Definitely the critique part. I could use some constructive criticism for my writing, what with my dreams of someday writing a novel and all. I do get some editing from peers and my english teacher, but that's about it.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild?
Apply them professionally, hopefully. I'd love to publish my work, and I have some pieces online, but a book is definitely my dream. 4) Anything else you want us to know about you?
I'm very disorganized, rather eccentric, and often get yelled at for taking the long route in terms of detail when I'm telling an anecdote. Oh, and I am rather obsessed with animals. As I write this, I have one of my seven pet rats on my shoulder, and I've also got a budgie and a cat who enjoys lacerating my hands.

ever sense i fist learned how i have been interested in reading and writing. it is my passion. i write poetry short stories songs i have even written books. i have problems with spelling and grammar but other then that my work is rather creative. i tend to write only fiction. i dont like to write non-fiction. i took this on to begin with as a hobby. but it evolved into something i do all the time. i write when an idea pops into my head its how i express myself and how i spend my time. i am a book worm. i read non stop.
really everything about the guild interests me. i love the idea of other writers and letting other people know of our amazing talents. i also think its a great idea to try to improve our methods and ways of writing. but if i had to choose id say the critique part i really do need some constructive and experienced criticism. i really want to improve my writing.
i plan to use this to help me get where i want to be. im going to go to colleague to major in journalism and then im going to work my way up to being a famous author. it has been my dream sense i was a little girl.
i started reading the first harry potter book when i was in first grade, i took a while for me to get through them all because at first i didn't understand them. but eventually i finished. i wrote my first book in third grade. i have never gotten anything published and that now is my main goal. i am a very creative person, no matter where im at you wouldn't catch me without paper pencil or a book. i have a huge obsession with vampires, Greek legend, believes, and other myths. i am now about to finish a series i have been working on. i also am about to start another book called dreaming of danger that is about a fallen angel. i also am getting into the Nicholas Sparks books.

 1) I Started Getting Interested To Be A Writer When I Was Little, A Toddler, Just Getting The Hang Of Writing, One Day, In School, My Teacher Went Up And Gave Me And My Little Friends A Assignment, Creative Writing. I Wrote About How One Sunny Day A Bunny Went And Planted Some Carrot Seeds, And Instead Of Getting A Carrot, He Got Some Cabbage. So He Sold The Cabbage And Bought A Carrot, The End. That Short Story Opened My Tiny Eyes And Brought Be Into The World Of Writing, Which Surprised Me In Many Ways, And Now I Have Grown Older, I Have Taken A Fashion To Writing, And I Still Enjoy It As Much As I Did When I Was Little.
2) I Think I'll Be Writing My Own Stories For Other People To Read And Give Some Constructive Criticism. While Waiting To Read It I Will Give My Own Feed Back On Other People's Stories Too.
3) I Want To March Up And Publish My Book. Hopefully Someone Will Want To Publish My Book.
4) No, I'm Very Shy And Like To Keep Secrets. If Anyone Wants To Know, They, Themselves, Can Ask Me.

2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? Right this minutes, I am not sure where I will be spending most of my time. I may take me awhile to look around, and find a place that fits me.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? I would like to possibly be a better writer, though I am already a good writer.
4) Anything else you want us to know about you? I am a published author. I know many publishers in the Calforinia area. I could contact them if anyone needs them. Though I am just a young teen, I aspiring author since I have only had one of my books published.

1) What experience do you have as a writer and as a literature critique? Not a lot. I use to write when I was younger and am just starting to get back into it.
2) What part of the guild interests you the most? Where do you think you'll be spending most of your time here? The classroom is what interests me the most, but I'll be spending time elsewhere as well.
3) What do you want to do with the skills you get from this guild? Sometime after the first dozen years or so of rejection and failure I want to make a career out of writing. I'm hoping the time spent here will help me pin point my strengths while improving my weaknesses.
4) Anything else you want us to now about you? I love world building. Something about creating entire cultures from scrap just makes me giddy. I'm also a huge video game and superhero cartoon fan.
