Axel sighed. The girl was bored out of her mind. She got to her feet and shoved her hands in her jean pockets. She bit her lip, fairly unsure of what to do next. She ran a hand through her ebony hair before sighing in frustration.

"I'm sure the gods care about us, otherwise this camp wouldn't exist. Besides I'm sure they have a good reason, they have been very quiet since the summer solstice,' Alex said trying to explain. Even her mother, Artemis, who loved her dearly had seemed distance when the camp went up to visit.
