The sandstorm hit the city and quickly spread through the streets, the city's security force was assigned to direct people back to their homes.
The raiders reached the outer walls of the city and used a stolen heavy mining walker to bust through it. The Raiders spilled into the streets using speeder bikes and walkers, many raiders ran in on foot to loot supplies.
Zed's ship flew over to the huge sleeper ship and hovered beside it.
He pulled his goggles over his eyes and his scarf over his face. A hatch on the rear of his ship opened up, through which he then lept across to the sleeper ship, holding onto a large pipe.
He landed on top of the vast ship and walked around for a moment before attaching the nozzle of the pipe to the sleeper-ship.
He then activated his jetpack and returned to his ship, leaving the pipe attached.

John popped off another burst into a raider, running into cover. The sandstorm had masked thier approach, letting them breach the walls. John ducked into cover and pulled a grenade of his belt. He pulled the pin, kissed the grenade for good luck and threw it up the street. As the grenade went off, John pulled his thermal goggles over his eyes and ducked out of his cover, popping bursts into any raiders he could see.

Koko looked over the side of the ship she had ended up on, spotting someone attaching a strange object to the side of the sleeper ship before heading back again. After running after the 'sand ship' for a while, she'd caught up enough to use her hook shot to latch onto it & catch a free ride. Though, now she was in danger of being spotted & pressed herself up against the side.
(by the way, just as a notice to the participants of this roleplay - & future ones - if possible, try not to make pages of 1-line posts please. It spams the thread & causes others to potentially miss posts aimed at them. Thank you.)

Zed Sealed the airlock and brushed the sand off of himself before sitting back down in the cockpit.
He pressed a few buttons and a view from the only imaging satilite orbiting Ares appeared on-screen. It showed that the sandstorm's end was nearby, and his ship's refueling cycle would take another half hour to re-fill it's lifesupport systems.
He'd have to wait it out, not like much bad could happen to an air-tight, bulletproof ship that can bend physics.

Thane sighed and sat down on a seat in the church. "just my luck huh?" He looked around. The church was fairly empty apart from a few who had been, like Syuzanna and himself, pushed in here because of the storm, and a couple praying.

Neo was jostled and knocked to the ground by the people that were running to get somewhere to wait out the sandstorm. He was roughly pulled to his feet and pushed into the church by someone from the city's security force. He stumbled and fell to his knees, again. He had dropped his cane and started to move his hands around to try and find it.

John popped off more rounds into raiders, slowly working his way up to the breach that the raiders made. This type of battle was keeping him on his toes, the raiders were coming from all directions. The miltia were also doing well, setting up firing lines to kill waves of raiders. John reached the breach and proceeded on planning how to seal it. He used one of his precious C-7 charges to drop a large section of broken hull from the sleeper-ship to block the gap in the wall.
After the hull had settled, John looked at where the hull had fallen off.
Hmmm, that could make a nice sniper spot. I must remember that.

Koko pulled up the goggles she had round her neck over her eyes to protect them from the sandstorm, pressing herself up against the ship to try & keep out of the worst of it. She could see anything but the whirling sand as the worst of the storm set in.
Godammit!

Zed sat forward and watched some sand settling on top of his ship, the ship's name 'Aiolos' that was painted on the wing sections was almost covered by sand.
The Aiolos hovered motionless above the city.
The heavy sandstorm reduced visiblity to only a few feet with goggles, it was now impossible to see without goggles, or breathe without some kind of protection. Most people had made it indoors by this time, however a large number of guards and raiders were still fighting dispite the conditions, though the sand was causing weapons and vehicles to fail.
The raiders were still looting, and several headed towards the church, armed with bolt guns.
