Kay to the rescue prt 2

"ESPECIALLY the drink!" Kay sternly said, not liking the way she asked it. It meant...she'd taken a drink from them. The teenager wasn't stupid, he knew the kinds of s**t that happened to poor girls in bars; he'd never done that to someone, and he never would, but he knew it happened. Now, it was happening to Roxy.

Suddenly, everything seemed to be in stereo. The music that hung in the air was the same as the music that was being pumped into his ear; the laughter, the whistling...and Roxy's scream, even though the scream itself was more faint when it wasn't in his ear. With a furious cry of his own, Kay tossed his phone to the side, startling the bouncer by pushing right past him; once he was inside, it didn't take him long to locate the phones. He saw the oddly dressed blonde girl, and his dark gaze honed in on the man holding her arm.

"I told you not to touch her!" He yelled at the man, swinging a punch aimed at his face. Momentum was on his side, it seemed.

The man by the name of Joe wasn't a very big male, and half snapped as it was he didn't have much reaction time when he suddenly found himself slugged in the face. He staggered back, bellowing in pain, the poor blonde girl was just screaming now...sinking to the floor with her hands covering her ears like everything was too loud and too overwhelming.
Joe went to take a wild swing back at his attacker though was too drunk to aim properly and his hit fell short.

Kay grinned in satisfaction when he felt his fist hit it's mark; ******** right! This guy deserved it, and more. The young man easily dodged the drunken swing, and after a sweeping kick to the guy's legs to trip him, he moved around him. Joe wasn't his target anymore; Joe was drunk and indisposed...but not only that, the Bouncer had recovered from shock and was hot on Kay's heels...especially now that there was an apparent fight. Instead, he made a b-line to Roxy, quickly kneeling next to her, gathering the poor thing up in his arms, hugging her against his chest. "Roxy, it's okay, It's me, I got you!" He assured her, desperately hoping she'd still recognize his voice and not try to fight him off, too.

Joe wason his backside and was quickly making his retreat, it wasn't worth getting the crap kicked out of him over the blond. Take her, see if he cared. He quickly dissapeared into the gathering crowd.
Roxy on the other hand was in rough shapem her body was shaking her hands still over her ears , she screamed again when Kay touched her but her eyes were closed she didn't know it was him. Even if his words got to her she only cried out his name disoriented, pushing against Kay's chest and refusing to open her eyes. "Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" she shrieked and shuddered as tears ran down her face. Whatever it was in her drink was making her act bizzarely.

"Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" she shrieked and shuddered as tears ran down her face. Whatever it was in her drink was making her act bizzarely.

He turned to the bouncer, who was baffled. "You! Get that guy, the one that just ran into the crowd! He drugged this girl, not to mention she's underage!" He growled out; of course, at the mention of the age, the bouncer's eyes widened and he took out his phone, hanging near the only entrance and exit, but calling his friends inside to try and hunt him down. Drugs were bad, but someone drugging an underaged girl was a disaster.

In the mean time...Roxy was fighting him. God Damnit! She's really done her job in listening to him! "ROXY." He shouted over her screaming, trying to hold her still against his chest. When that failed he loosened his grip, instead bringing his hands up to hold her face, brushing his thumbs against her cheeks. "Roxy, come on, open your eyes, it's me! It's Kay!" He urged, his face rather close to hers so she might near him better, or perhaps smell him, if he had a paricular scent. Not that he knew, it was just a slim hope.
"I'm right here!"

Roxy was still flailing and when he grabbed the sides of her face she was crying, her hands went to grip his tightly and then they slackened, her heart was beating too fast, she felt dizzy...sick to her stomach...and a killer of a headache coming on.
Forcing her eyes open, her pupils were huge whatever drug it was it wasn't treating her kindly.
"K..ay?? KAY??" She started out slowly, and then screamed his name as if she had lost the volume control of her voice. It became obvious...wether or not her eyes were open, she couldn't see him. She was panicing. Freaking out was a good choice of words. Her entire body tremblnig as she felt like she was going to be sick, "I...kay..i...where ...are you?" she asked despetately searchign for him with one hand...oblivious to the fact he had his hands on her face.

Kay growled, cursing under his breath. "I'm right here, right in front of you. My hands are on your face." He assured her, trying to speak over her yelling. His thumbs moved across her pale skin, brushing to let her know that they were his hands. He wasn't sure what to do, but the longer he looked at her, the longer he knew that that guy and his friend...weren't going to be alive much longer."You." He growled at the bouncer. "I'm willing to make you a deal; you tell me where that guy and his buddy hang out or live, and I won't report any of this to the authorities." Why let the courts take it over, when he would feel so much better tearing them limb from limb himself? He wanted to go into the crowd and find him now, but...Roxy needed him. The bouncer contemplated it; thinking rather hard on the subject. He must have figured Kay was going to do something bad...but at the same time, they could get into a lot of trouble for letting that girl into the place...

Roxy's small body trembeled even more, her clothes were rapidly changing color and shape, lost she had lost control of the ability. Somehwat like a cameleon who couldn't decide what color to become next. The small girl patted his hands before her pupils narrowed as she blinked before bursting into tears.
"D..don't leave me Kay.." She begged though it was hard to tell if she was reall registering what was going on or just having a hallucination.
"Don't leave...please...don't leave don't leave..." she continued as she reached forward to hold onto Kay shakily, the world swam before her eyes...Kay had looked an aweful lot like a distroted image of himself. She felt sick to her stomach...and was pretty sure she was going to hurl any moment.

"I won't, I promise." Kay released her face and wrapped his arms securely around her, holding her tightly to his chest again now that she wasn't fighting him. He didn't mind if she threw up on him; the point was that he wasn't letting her go now that he had her. Those guys wouldn't get their chance to touch him again. He lingered where he was for a moment, and the bouncer then decided to make his decision known, whispering it to the young Shaman...on the side without the snake. The deal was made, and after Kay gruffly told him that he'd be back in the morning for the guy's addresses, moved to start standing up. "C'mon Roxy, you gotta try and stand up, we're going home." He told her, holding onto her still as he got them both to their feet. If the Bouncer didn't have the guy's information by morning, Kay was definitely going to bring the Bar down for letting Roxy into it; not as satisfying, but SOMETHING had to come out of this.

Roxy only shivered in Kay's arms...and at one point her stomach did heave, at the exact moment that he stood up. The sudden change in dierction had brought it on, and she managed to miss most of his shoulder she still got some on his chest and on herself. Her stomach hurt. It hurt like crazy, dimly she felt the room sway.
"K..kay..kay kay kay.." she murmured the little sing song though it seemed like a lullaby she was singing to herself to will herself to sleep.

Kay wrinkled his nose when Roxy threw up on him, but otherwise didn't say anything. It looked and smelt disgusting, but hey, whatever got it out of her system faster was alright with him. "It's fine~" Kay told her, even though she didn't say anything about it. "Roxy, I need you to get on my back, okay?" Kay was slowly releasing his iron grip on her, but he managed to keep his hands in hers, guiding her behind him as he knelt down low enough for her to climb on.
The girl was getting pretty listless, her body still shivering from the effects of the drug, heaving and the alchohal. She somehow made it to his back, and she clung to him like a baby monkey may its mother. Though it was hard to say if she would really make it home awake. She needed to stay awake though, her clothes were slowing down in their morphing, even her breathing had slowed..she could almost be mistaken for sleeping if her eyes weren't wide open staring at nothing.
'kay..kay....kay.." she sang to herself in a series of low notes.

Kay leaned forward a bit to keep her on his back, hooking his arms under her legs to keep her from sliding off. He jostled her a bit, pinching the back of her leg. "C'mon Roxy, don't you fall asleep on me now." He told her, stared pointedly at the Bouncer before walking off, through the crowd and out into the streets, on his way home. "Talk to me, say anything, just don't sleep yet, got it?"

Roxy was babbling nonsense words at this point, like a person trying to sleep and yet carry on a conversation.
"..hu..huh?" she roused herself slightly from her stupor shivering from the change of the over warm bar to the cooler night air.
"cold..." she mumbeled, "why dos..it ..cold.." she made little sense at all. "..hnmmna...Kay....? wh..ere...Kay..."

That was fine with him, so long as she was babbling and not sleeping yet. When she started mumbling about being cold, Kay found himself grumbling. Well crap...he didn't have a shirt or anything to give her! "I'm right here, you're on my back. If you're cold, morph your clothes into something warm. I know you can do it, just try to focus." He suggested, looking over his shoulder at her. Even Nahual seemed sympathetic to the girl for once, slithering over to curl up against her head in some vague attempt to 'help'.

He did, however, pick up the pace a little bit. He had to get her home, and away from the bar. He could yell at her when she sobered up again...Christ, what was she thinking?

The young girl shivered against Kay's back her hold loosening with each step, morph her clothes? The easiest thing to do at this point was nothing. And so they shifted back into the simple white t-shirt that they originally were. Sadly this was better than what she had been wearing, if marginally.
"Kay...kay......" Roxy was doing her best to try and stay awake...in her babblnig state it was hard to really take anything she said seriously, her subjects went from one random topic to another. Talking about blue lights...and ghosts...and then scars..stars ..and coins fallling out of the sky. She babbeled that she didn't want to get hit by the coins..it would hurt... and she squirmed weakly on his back as if to avoid 'the coins'. Once closer to his house she was more setteled, though had a more stoned look to her face.
"Kay....." She murmured, "I really l..like Kay...I thi..think I ...lo..v....'im...." The last few words were garbeled as her head was nodding off as sleep or unconciousness tried to claim her.

Of course he listened to her babbling. He played along where he had to, encouraging her in others; despite the unfortunate circumstances he had a bit of a chuckle over the coins. He didn't know what it meant, he'd probably never know what it meant, but to him it was almost cute. The babbling of a crazy little girl who...sadly wasn't so little anymore.

"Hmm?" The way she murmured his name had him looking over his shoulder again, peering at her out of his only good eye. What she had to say made his eye widen a bit in surprise; it was much easier to understand her now without the blaring music in the background, even if it was still a drunken garble. It was different than anything she'd told him up until that point; it seemed...real?

Closing his eye, he turned his head slightly, his eye reopening to look ahead of him, at the door to the shop. When he spoke, it was in a quiet voice, his tone fond. "S'at so, Midget? I think you should tell him that one day."

Shifting her on his back a big, he unlocked and opened the door, taking her to the bedroom in the basement he so frequently claimed as his. Here, she could sleep away the drugs and alcohol...

The next morning -

Throughout the night, Roxy either slept like the dead or was shivering uncontrolably and then vaugely trying to get up...failing and throwing up in the bedroom and being generally disoriented and and very sick.

It was a long night, and by the time morning hit, Roxy awoke with a killer headache, the acidic taste in her mouth from throwing up, and shivering like mad due to the fact her body was still getting over the drugs that were in her system.

Where was she? Too disoriented she couldn't remember a bloody thing from the evening, she looked around frantically as if unsure of where she was, only calmng down when until she spotted Kay.

She tried to talk..but her throat burned painfully, swallowing was an experience she found she didn't enjoy. Her entire body felt like lead and she had a killer headache. She felt like she could be sick again..just at the idea of eating food.

"K...a.." She tried to talk but her throat was so raw she couldn't make out much, had he been with her all night? She tried to remember what happened last night...all she did know was she didn't want it to happen again.

Crawling up to him, her nose wrinkeled as she noticed that ...pungent smell of voment that hung in the air. She smelt like it...and so did he...but she had a feeling it wasn't because of anything he had done.

Licking her dry cracked lips she reached for Kay with unsteady hands and then leaned against him with a sigh of relief. She wasn't sure why he was here...but she could figure out he saved her somehow. He stayed with her...and that meant more to her than anything.

Kay had tried to stay awake with her throughout the night; for most of it he was up with her, making sure she made it to the bathroom and back again. But when the trips became less frequent, he worried less about her not making it or not finding her way back...and eventually he just fell asleep. Dead asleep.

It wasn't until she touched him and leaned against him did he stirr again, groggily blinking open his eye, lifting himself a bit to survey the room and, finally, the sick girl on his side. "Oh, you're awake?" He murmured, rubbing his eye with the heel of his palm. "How ya feeling, Midget?"

Roxy didn't really know the answer to that question. How did she feel? She felt like someone was beating a set of drums in her head whilst her stomach ached and her throat burned.
"h..u..rts..." She replied as best she could in her raspy voice. She felt weak ...throwing up so much probably did a number to her small body. She smiled if only a small smile at his nickname for her, nudging him slightly with her nose and continued to cling to him. She felt very..childish..holding onto him like this but he was a great sense of comfort for her right now.

Solo - Trinity's worry..

It was hard to not be worried, despite not wanting to be declared the 'mother' of the two children she had come to look after Trinity felt a gnawing worry building up in the back of her head, which traveled down to her throat and made her stomach churn. Her worries were only confirmed when Roxy came home one day looking a bit worn tired and sore.

The young girl hadn't said anything but it was pretty obvious by the way she walked funny that..well she had probably had sex. It was even easier to figure out whom with.

Trinity wanted to talk to Roxy about it...she felt that obligated need to. Did they practice safe sex? Oh god was she suppose to have that talk with her? She missed the talk didn't she? Crap. Crap crappy s**t.

If she missed it was it a bit stupid to try and have that discussion with her now? The young woman was at her wits end. Unsure if she was suppose to talk to Roxy, leave her alone or wait for her to come to her for questions or help. Should...she get the girl on the pill? That was an option...but then it meant she'd still need to have the talk with her...

More crap.

The woman had no idea what to do. Roxy was in high spirits..well as high as she could be considering she was sore. But at the same time she was ...well...

Roxy.

Trinity knew the girl as well as she knew the next door neighbor, a sad thing actually considering she was raising the kids. Though...Gera raised her technically...did that make her a terrible parent? Aunt...she was the Aunt. Not the mom. She mentally corrected herself. Why was she so against being the mother figure?

Trinity chewed on her lower lip, she supposed she had to talk to her at some point about it. She really really didn't want to though...how awkward. She supposed she'd have to...or she could just try and keep tabs on her 'daughter' of sorts.

Yeah...she'd do that. Keep tabs. Oh wonderful the trying to not be a parent.

Roxy was sitting in front of the mirror brushing her long blond hair. On one aspect she was happy, on another unsure. She wanted to be happy, but it was hard. After having sex with Kay she thought everything would be right with the world, did she regret it? Perhaps, not so much that she would want to not do it again, or not want to do it at all. With Kay she felt so right.
Like she was one with him, and though she hurt from the sex, (she was young after all) she didn't wish she hadn't done it at all.

Did she?

Looking at herself in the mirror she thought she say the figure looking back at her smirking. She blinked and it was just herself looking back at her pretty long blond hair. Kay liked her for what she was.

No...he likes you because you resemble a pop star.

The little inkling of doubt seeped into her brain. Was that true? Did Kay only like her for the fact she looked and sounded like a famous singer? It was a horrible thought. Once that made her hands quiver and shake as she brought the brush down along the long length of hair.

She knew Kay would get angry at her for thinking such ridiculous things. Giving a small laugh she shook her head running her fingers through her hair, she adored it after all. Her pride and joy. She may not have boobs..but she did have pretty hair.

Kay liked her, was going out with her even. Despite their age gaps and she was happy.

Happy? You are a slut..throwing yourself at him..like it was the end of the world..

Was the figure in the mirror still smirking at her? She blinked and reached out to touch it despite herself. It only mimicked her like it should normally.

Strange....

Getting up she stood in front of her mirror, changing her clothes to look like the outrageous outfits Gaga normally wore she suddenly felt very...watched. How could she be though? She was the only one in the room...and yet it seemed like her reflection was getting satisfaction watching her change clothes.
