JOURNAL ENTRY Q U I N T ' S T H O U G H T S Dear Journal,
Seems to be really hard to get a hold of Kay lately, he either hasn't been home or he comes and goes when I am not there or something. I don't know. I'll catch the wiley b*****d sooner or later. After all I have a few things to talk to him about and not just because of the stuff with Victoria. Just stuff in general I guess?
Either way I been helping Mom out at the shop part of the mornings lately and making sure to squeeze in time with Tek, he's a pretty busy little b*****d too but I'm happy that he got himself some s**t to do other than sit around and glare at Dad or whatever. I should spend more time with him though as well as find Levi and talk to Anon.
When the ******** did I get so social? I remember when I didn't want s**t to do with anyone or anything. I just wanted to be by myself and not even look at another living soul for as long as I possibly can. Here I am talking to people and seeking out friends. Here I am being friendly to TODDLERS.. .. And liking it. They're ******** cute. I can't help it. It's like I can't help myself and I want to protect them and make sure no perverts get at them and stuff. That a bad thing? That mean I'd make a good father like Kay ribs me about sometimes? No I don't want to think that way...There's no way I'd find a girl that'd get me much less wants to be with me.
Met a chick named Trinity and she asked if I considered being a model but I dunno...It seems like the last thing I considered. I want to take the photos and not really be in them but I guess it wouldn't hurt...?
Also met a little girl the other day at the petshop getting some stuff for my fish and found a small girl. She was kinda cute and all had these completely black eyes, really pretty...She was fine with me for a few minutes and then she started to act really shy around me, maybe I said something bad or something? I guess she didn't dislike me cause she took my hand and lead me to her Mom and Brother...I offered that I would babysit to her Mother.
...Am I gonna regret that later when I'm faced with two kids and not knowing what the ******** to do? Meh...I'll consider it uncle practice or whatever...
Gonna help Dad cook dinner, later.

JOURNAL ENTRY Q U I N T ' S T H O U G H T S Dear Journal,
Victoria called me the other day and asked for me to meet with her at the steak house. When I got there she looked pretty good, bubblier than I had ever seen her and in good spirits which was better than I ever expected to see her glad she is healthy and doing well. She had the babies and showed me a picture they were pretty damn cute. The boy makes me worry a bit. Looks too much like his dad I wonder if he'll be just like Kay when he grows up...Other than seeing the pictures of the kids I refused to see them in person. It feels weird to be the uncle and to see them before the Father does. I told her I'd wait on that for a bit, at least until Kay got to see them - if ever. Guess it is a good thing she has a nanny to help her out with the babies..I think her name was Ale...Alli...Alice? Something with an 'A'.
She wants me to give a letter to Kay. I ribbed her about not being a Delivery Boy but I'll do it since Kay is no where to be found anyways but maybe I'll catch him. I kept looking for him even at the steakhouse and he was nowhere to be seen. I still want to talk to him - no I HAVE to talk to him. I ... I want to see what he has to say, I want to know his side. It feels so lopsided only knowing what Victoria thinks and feels and even all that can't be everything she made out to be the day she cried in front of me. I just don't want to think that Kay is that callous...
Other than the letter-thing we had small talk. We talked about her family and how she dropped some of her classes she was doing to focus on the kids. She seemed happy about her decision but still I wonder what it'll be like for her when the kids grow and start to be more independent. They won't be around her forever after all...I didn't have the heart to argue it with her right now she seemed happy for once.
She asked me about my photography and I told her that I am starting to get more serious about it and starting to research some things as far as equipment and stuff goes. We'll see where it goes from here...
I just wonder where the hell Kay is. Why isn't he coming home? Is he that ashamed, is he that scared? it isn't like we'll abandon him or whatever. Kay is such a ******** b*****d making everyone worry...

JOURNAL ENTRY Q U I N T ' S T H O U G H T S Dear Journal,
I finally cornered Kay and had a talk though it was more of a shouting match - mostly with shouting on Kay's end. Seems I seriously misjudged my brother. What else was I to think though? I mean all I had to go by was what Victoria said and I couldn't find Kay ANYWHERE no matter how hard I looked but I also didn't want to hunt him down like an animal I wanted him to come to me himself. Technically he didn't come to me. He snuck into the house like he was hoping no one was around.
..Am I really that scary? Is it really what happened that bad that he needs to be scared of us or something? I mean I don't think Mom and Dad would shun him for what happened or for the fact that there are now babies around that have his genetics and stuff. Tek might be a bit pissy about it or whatever but that's just the way Tek is.
I think Dad is getting close to leaving he sometimes gets out a notepad and pen and stares at it a long while before abandoning it to finish something else like he didn't remember what he wanted to write or something. It always seems like that until he finally writes the Note for mom...
Should I follow him again just in case? I don't know...Last time he could have gotten hurt but so could I.
Mom'd be upset if something happened to Dad...

TEMPTATION OF THE PIE A N D A F A I L U R E T O S E D U C E . . . The slice of blackberry pie had been eyeing him ever since he had wandered into the diner for a bit of a lunch break after helping Mom shove things around in the shop. It wasn't literally eyeing him but still it was somehow making him crave it. Yes, the Pie was totally sentient as far as Quint was concerned and he needed to put an end to its lusty ways. He needed to be coy about it though... Yes he would order lunch first, a nice medium-rare burger and some fries then he would order dessert.
That blackberry pie shall be nestled in his stomach soon enough just wait and see. He waited, seated at the counter shifting a little from time to time in his seat. A young woman sat next to him and giggled.
"You look impatient~," she said in her best flirtatious tone. She thought he was cute and looked like a bad boy, someone she could seriously take an interest in.
Quint blinked and looked over at the young woman, "Umm...I guess?" he said awkwardly not really sure to make of the way she looked at him. Every now and again, to break the gaze he looked over at the slice of blackberry pie where it awaited him in a display case. The woman didn't seem to think anything of it. She thought it was cute the way he seemed to be shyly averting his gaze away from hers.
She rested her chin on her hand and ordered her drink and a small salad and then continued to watch the fascinating young man before her, "You know. I'm not doing anything after Lunch if you want to come home with me."
He startled out of train of thought and looked over at the woman. She was pretty enough, light brown hair, large blue eyes and nice skin but she wore clothes that were skimpy at best and her behaviorism was needless to say - a turn off. The way she leaned toward him as if to give him a better view of her the cleavage of her chest and she wore far, far too much make up. Not something that Quint would judge on but it was something that he did not want even as a superficial level. "No thanks," he said after clearing his throat and turning away from her as best as he can.
The girl pouted a bit, "You gay or something?" she simpered softly as she watched him. Quint tensed and straightened his shoulder and said nothing as he received his order. "Yeah I bet you're gay, a real ******** fudge packer," she sniffed softly as she watched him begin to eat. Quint paused his eating and stared over at the bitter girl.
"Yes, because I don't want to go back to your place and ******** you means that I am gay. Even if I am gay it is no damn business of yours." He snapped back as he resumed eating quietly hoping she'd be offended enough to at least change her seating up until she reached forward to grope along his inner thigh.
Quint startled and swatted at her hand with just enough force to make her retreat with a small yelp, he looked at her and frown, "I don't recall anything in my words saying 'Come here and grope me, slut'." he said waspishly at her, "I want to eat and be left alone if you can't ******** manage that much then move. I was here first," he growled at her.
The young woman blinked taken aback by the cold tone the young man took. He'd seemed friendly before but now he was just outright mean to her. She didn't understand what she was doing wrong. This worked every other time when she wanted a cute guy to go home with her. Right when she was about to object her order came and any retort she had was lost, the woman shifted in her seat to turn her attention to her meal. Where as Quint was eating with appetite and fervor the young woman ate as if it all tasted of ash and she soon left, her meal barely touched.
A wasteful shame but Quint was glad that she was gone.
He finished his meal and ordered a slice of the blackberry pie for home with extra whipped cream. When the to-go carton arrived as ordered he left after leaving the nice diner waitress a tip. No one seemed to blame him for his sharp words toward the woman because everyone that witnessed it had known it was her fault for trying to force herself on him despite everything the young man said. If anything a few of the patrons had respected him for not thinking with the parts in his pants and just traipsing after her.
When he got back to the shop there was still enough time to enjoy the rather tawdry slice of pie in privacy and so he sat at his mother's desk and simply enjoyed himself. This was the best tasting pie ever! Better than how it looked in the display, he would have to go back and get more sometime and hopefully that young woman wouldn't be there too - that'd make things awkward.
With the Siren-Pie settled into his stomach he got back to work even humming lightly as he dusted things off or shifted things around.

NO LONGER SECRET M A I L T I I I I M E ! It wasn't every day the Teen picked up the mail, generally because usually it was never for him. Today was an exception it seemed because not only did he get the mail but there was something in the mail for him. He didn't think much of the envelope other than the fact that it had his address but apparently no return address and a simple stamp. He put the mail for everyone else in its usual place after he got inside and took his letter with him to his room.
Quint sat down on the edge of his bed and stared at the envelope as he tried to get it to spill its secrets with just staring or something similar but thus far there was nothing forthcoming so after a moment he pulled open the envelope with his fingertips and pulled out the sheet of paper inside and started to read it.
Dear Quint,
I love you.
I love you because you think my eyes are pretty. I don’t like my eyes, I think they are stupid a lot of the time, and I think they make me look like an alien. You like them though, and that makes me happy. I think you have the prettiest eyes ever. They are like my eyes, but they aren’t. They are much better. Looking at them makes me happy.
You are also very nice.
You helped me see the fish at the pet store, and you held my hand, and you gave me your earring. I wear it on a necklace everyday. It makes me happy too. You also saved me on the beach and then you walked me to my mother. I was very happy to see you again. I like spending time with you.
I wish I could spend more time with you. Mother says you have older kid things to do though and are probably busy. I understand. I can’t wait to grow up, because then I can do older kid things too. Mother bought me a squishy shark plush at the mall. I love him lots because he reminds me of you and I can hug him. I named him Quint, just like one of my goldfish. So now there are two Quints in my house.
When I get older, I hope we can spend more time together. I can’t wait be older so that I can be with you.
Love, Seidh
The Teen finished reading the letter and found himself rubbing the back of his neck with an uncertain expression. This was from Seidh? Why would she feel this way about him? He didn't quite understand. Should he just ignore it? Should he write her back? Should he talk to her about it? He didn't honestly doubt the feelings she had though they were quite strong he just wasn't sure what to think about it not one bit. Quint didn't recall ever feeling like this for someone when he was a child but then he kept himself a lot more distant from others than Seidh apparently did. His hand moved to rub at his face a bit as he set the note on the bed beside him and stood up and started to roam about his room. Mindlessly he fed the fish and then moved to stare out the window. Where was Kay when he needed to talk to him about something that didn't involve him wanting to beat the snot out of the Shaman? True, she was young and based on that Quint wouldn't pursue anything until she was older but it surprised him that he was even considering it but the fact remained that she was younger than him in a manner that would cause many (even him) to frown at the idea of dating her. Besides she was just a kid...No don't think that way. It was insulting even to a child. He wouldn't want to be brushed off like that.
He knew he liked Seidh and if she were just a bit older he might at least offer taking her out on a date of some sort but perhaps he could wait but didn't that seem creepy? Like some sort of predator waiting for its prey to age a bit before it could be devoured.
He found himself staring at the mirror in the bathroom now.
...How had he managed to make such a huge impact anyways? He just did what he did with most other children. He was kind with her, patient. He stopped worrying about his brother lurking in the bushes only to burst out of them to tease him about being such a good 'father' and how he needed to find himself a girl to knock up or some s**t.
The letter said she hated her own eyes but liked his. His eyes weren't anything that spectacular. Quint grinned at his own image showing his teeth and then frowned a bit. If he dated anyone he'd probably hurt them just by kissing...His heart drooped a bit as he leaned and pressed his forehead against the mirror. He didn't like the prospect of hurting Seidh if they did end up dating somehow when she got older but then he was getting ahead of himself.
They'd probably go on one date; she'd see how much of a b*****d he really was and not want to see him again.
He stood upright and moved to the kitchen and got himself a drink. The next time he saw her ... He'd try to talk to her about it at least and try to strike a deal with her of some sort. Maybe even reason with her? He wasn't sure what he was going to do or say when the time came he just knew that ...
...It was incredibly sweet that someone out there seemed to truly love him even if she was much younger than him.

SENDING YOU THE DOUBLES E N J O Y ! It was a nice chilly day and the air felt crisp and light. He took in a deep breath as he walked toward the residence where Akuja and her children lived only to note that there seemed to be no one home. He walked up to the door and even knocked. He waited a moment or two and found that there was no reply. He smiled a bit and sighed. It figured that everyone was out but it was probably just as well he would have to stay a little longer just so Seidh wouldn't feel as if she'd been shorted on his presence for whatever reason.
As much as he enjoyed talking and hanging out with this little family unit he did have other things he needed to do today so he got the bundle of photos and a large envelope to put the photos in. It took a lot of juggling but after a while he managed to get a note written on the envelope for Akuja and the photos all into the envelope in one piece.
He moved to the mail box and tucked the present for Akuja in there and started to wander away to go do other things. Like pick up some things at the store for Mom, maybe even hunt Tek down to see if he wanted to go to a movie today. Something that would fill up the time to this day. Note to Akuja Hey,
I took these pictures the other day when you asked me to babysit. There's quite a few in here from them and I hope you enjoy them. I figured since you're their mom that you should have rights to the doubles so you can embarrass them with it later or something. Sorry that I missed you guys and I hope everyone is doing alright.
See ya later.
