Rakaeba had closed his eyes again, when suddenly he felt a nuzzle. At first he growled, figuring it to be Gould pushing him off. Then, as he opened his eyes, there was Ya'kima. His heart beat faster, his sister was there. Blinking as he slowly moved, his paws taking to the ground slowly and unsteadily. His eyes catching the large male and he swiftly nodded his head, aknowledging defeat yet the fire in his eyes remained. Showing he still felt as strongly before the fight as he did now. The nod was formal and part of the end. Finally on his feet he gave a rough shake of his pelt and glanced the woods for any signs of his family. Pressing his head onto Ya'kimas shoulder swiftly as he turned and headed back down the path. Leaving the sacred circle with a soft, baleful howl. He wouldn't leave. He'd been defeated in his own fight, he may have started a power struggle but that mean't nothing for the Alpha position. This was a decision that relied on the pack and he would await there judgement upon the course of fate.

Gould walked back towards the den, his head hich his tail out straight, he may have won the battle but the war was not over. Still, he was proud of himself and his son, his tail lashed back and forth, the dance of the alphas, he had primised to himself that he would never loose a fight, a combat, loosing the pack now to democracy he knew would be a blow to him, still, he had faught the good fight, it was his right to take back the pack as far as he was concerened but then, then he knew he had been away a long time. He trotted ahead of his son, he would be the first back to the den, his paws would touch the sacred grounds, it was his right, it was tradition. he had not given up without a fight.
