"Hiya! She's nice 'cause she is my fwend! Wanna see what I can do?" Cat asked excited. She was literally bouncing up and down, probably from that cup of soda she snuck earlier.

She motioned them to follow her. "Looky Here!" She said. She was standing next to a patch of dirt. "Do you see it?" She asked.

"It's so pwetty! And if nobody steps on him, he'll get huge!" Cat said. She was talking about a small seed that had just started growing, It couldn't be seen because it hadn't sprouted yet. "I kin help him, watch!" Cat said. She looked at the dirt and whispered something, then a small patch of blue flowers started growing. "Okay, I gotta stop 'cause he needs to grow by hisself." Cat said.

An assembly of moving parts performing a complete functional motion, often being part of a large machine; linkage." Catarina had probably just blanked out on the definition. "Wording directly from dictionary.com."
Chris rolled his eyes. "Catarina," he said. "Don't listen to her. What she means is that a mechanism is a combination of moving parts that are rigged to do something."
