"I don't know what he's saying Deskri, but he's probably lying. I got to you before his attack connected with the teen over there. That was Rasiel's doing, or his bad thing anyway," Sonnet was quick to assure before going over and patting Hayden gently on the head. "It's okay sweetie," she told him in a motherly voice. "The bad things are gone now, it's okay."
Next, her attention was brought to Alice. Sonnet heaved a heavy sigh and shook her head. "I would be more then happy to explain what I know, but I think right now what we should be doing is getting you some medical attention..." she said, walking a few steps closer. "After that I can attempt to explain the situation as best as I can."

"I didn't...?" A wave of relief washed over him, but it did little to ease the panicked expression on his face. Since Hayden was clinging to his arm, he used the other one to pry the kid off in favor of giving him an actual hug. "I'm so, so sorry Hayden..." He looked down at his toddler brother, expression changing to one of extreme sadness. He hadn't wanted his little brother to experience meeting Kagyaku, even if his little brother wasn't his most favorite person ever... It wasn't like Hayden could help it, he was a toddler after all.
He looked up to Alice, and took a deep breath. "It's too complicated to explain right here... W-we should get to the nurses office a-and I can explain better there." He started to stand up slowly, legs still wobbly. After he was up and stable, he reached down and the hoisted Hayden up into his arms figuring the little Meta might need some attention as well. He'd forgotten about Freya during the whole mess.
Sonnet's comfort and Deskri's hold calmed Hayden down a little more, though he still had a steady stream of tears since his leg still hurt quite a bit. "Wan' g-go hooooomeee..." He cried softly as he buried his face into Deskri's chest. "Wan' mommaaaaa...."

A lot of scary things happened. Freya didn't remember exactly when she hid, nor did she know exactly when she should stop. She simply sobbed quietly to herself. She didn't know any of these people or why they were angry at each other or what that thing was that came out of the ground. She just wanted to help Hayden. Underneath a bush, she breathed heavily. Everything was over, but was it safe?

Alice struggled to keep herself together. She had pretty much completely lost normal vision from her right eye at that point. Only met with more unanswered questions, her rage was starting to boil, but nowhere to the point where she'd erupt with anger. Moving to stand, still weak from being thrown around and whatnot. She helped Syth up as she managed to help balance Syth. "We should probably try to get to the Nurse's office then. And I expect a reasonable explanation once we get there." she half-demanded, still a bit angered by the fact that there was no current explanation on why she was repeatedly attacked in the last few minutes. Sighing, she turned to walk off with Syth toward the Nurse's office. She would have just flown there, but that would have required her to pick up Syth, and as it were, she only have one good arm right now and one good eye for seeing. It almost looked like she had just fought a massive war, despite she had only been hit a couple of times. Taking one last look back to make sure that Deskri and Sonnet would be following, she continued on to the Nurse's Office.

"Okay, okay..." Deskri sighed and started to follow after her, but Hayden began to wriggle about in his arms. "What's wrong?" He looked down at his little brother, confused. "F-Freya... Dunno wher' she went..." Deskri blinked a few times, trying to remember another toddler. The image of Freya peering up at him while Kagyaku was in control, asking if boys could wear make up too came to mind and once again he felt a cold grip come onto him. Was the kid okay? Did she get hurt? What if she got caught in the shadow at the wrong moment and died? It wasn't a very strong shadow, but she was just a toddler...
Deskri turned around, eyes searching the area frantically. "I-I don't see anyone, Hayden..." He didn't see any blood either, which was a minor relief. "I dunno what to do Hayden, I can't see her... Maybe you can find her?" Deskri set Hayden down, perhaps someone his size would be able to see Freya better than he could, especially since his eyesight wasn't the best at the time being.
It took some searching, but Hayden finally spotted Freya under the bush. "C'mon Freya we'rr gonna go t'nurse!" He wobbled over to where she was hiding. "Tha' birdy lady said the bad things 're gone..." He offered his hand, and then dragged her along back to Deskri to be carried off to the nurses office. Frankly it was a miracle that Deskri even managed to take two steps carrying two toddlers...
[;w; I-I didn't want to leave Freya out in the middle of nowhere after that.........-shot- To the nurses office!]

Walter had finally ended his call with his assistant through his headset and smiled. He was able to have the conversation even with two hands occupied by ice cream and didn't let either one of them melt. Parenting wasn't going to be that hard, he could juggle it with his job easy. Of course he could, it was him after all.
... But this should've been the spot, he was sure of it. Yes, that tree there and the view of the lake. Even Freya's shoe prints of where she stood next to the lake as she splashed it! This was the exact spot he left them and they were gone! First, Walter had to make sure. He darted his head around, turning hard to try to find some sign of them, but everything was too quiet. It wasn't like Freya to hide, she loved to be seen. He dropped the ice cream in both hands and grabbed for his chest as his breathe quickened to a hummingbird's pace. Tears welled up in his eyes. Barely audible, one could hear "ohmigod-ohmigod-ohmigod-ohmigod" repeated from Walter's lips. The first time he takes out his newly adopted daughter out into the world and he loses her! This could NOT be happening!

Deep in the night, the Sparkling Lake was quiet. Not a sound can be heard in the entire area. The surface of the water shone a bright reflection of the moon until the water's surface began to move. Ripples came from the center, breaking the reflecting into shards of the moon that wouldn't stand still. The water began to bubble, the surface started to break altogether. The ground itself seemed to quiver at the lake's activity and the once quiet lake became a loud symphony of sounds. The wind itself picked up and howled through the trees, the branches creaking from the stress. A wooden pole broke through, soon revealing itself only to be a part of the whole, a ship. Water rushed from the sides of the ship, trickling down and leaving the wet area to meet open air after its mysterious journey. A manic laugh could be heard from the helm.
"Ha ha, we did it!" a man shouted in content. "After all this time away, we finally found our way back to where it all began." He felt a shine of satisfaction about the moment, but it soon faded. He had always wanted to return, but it wasn't his choice to make. And the choice to come back now was one made out of desperation.
A small, cloaked figure spoke in a low, harsh voice, still light in pitch. "Don't yer be thinkin' 'bout that woman, Captain. Yer know we're only here 'cause it's the only way we can find out why I haven't grown."
"'N I told you before, girly," the man stated back. "That's she's the only one with the 'quipment ter fix ye." He started lowering his mast. "I gave ye what yer wanted, love. Adventure on the high seas, a ship and crew a yer own to do what ye willed. Don' ever say I was a bad captain."
The girl sank a bit. He was right. The Captain had be more than fair letting her run away from school and letting her have her adventure. It would be a lot to ask him to leave any idea of having a woman of his own, but she couldn't help but feel jealous. He was her captain, her father and the only one she could trust. She ran her hand along her bare arm, feeling the occasional scars she had received during sword fights and the like. She experienced so much in her life, but never seemed to age from being a child. She hated it. Hardly anyone would take a child seriously and obey her command on the sea. At times, she feared her own captain doubted her judgment because of her appearance. But it had vastly changed. Stitches and scars marked her body and an eyepatch covered her right eye, a reminder of misjudging a sea monster. She told herself that she'd still have that eye, if only she were bigger.
She sighed as she left down the hood of her cloak and revealed her shortly cut hair. It resembled more of a boy's haircut than anything else. "I'm sorry, captain. It's just when we left...."
"It's okay, girly," the Captain started. "A lot have been past. I doubt she'd even remember me." He seemed sad now. The girl felt a sliver of guilt before she turned her mind at the tasks at hand and started. He stood there, however, and looked up at the sky. It reminded him of her, in a way. Distant from the world, but so radiant. We started back to the anchor, hobbling with each step as his peg leg hit against the deck. As he dropped the anchor, he remembered the day he lost his leg. Everything he has ever done has been for her: his first mate, his daughter, his Undine.

[RPing with Self! Mira is currently in Mimic Mode: Deskri]
Mira had wandered about for a while as she stopped when her next step was into something wet. She reached down and placed her hand into a cold pool of water, moving her hand about slowly, she realized this was much bigger than she originally thought it was. Much bigger. She closed her eyes and listened to the ripples glide farther and farther away from her. It had to be at least as big as a lake or a still ocean. Either way, it was never a big interest of hers to go swimming, she always had difficulty learning when she couldn't see where she was going. She had been squatted down by the lake, running her fingers through the lake when she realized something a bit strange. Her fingers felt odd, unlike hers. All of them. It came as a surprise to her since one of her hands had been of a light lavender color, which meant her hand had been previously sewn on and the feeling in that hand was a lot less than the other. Mira stared at her hand in curiosity, her fear had left her now that she was far away from the ballroom where it had originated from.

Rasiel had been searching everywhere for a sign of Deskri, it seemed he may have been no where to be found. In a desperate attempt to clear his mind and calm down, he went to visit the lake he knew so well and came to use as a place of refuge. Rasiel stopped atop a hill and caught sight of something dark, a person crouched down by the lake. His heart fluttered, knowing that Deskri was alright and not off hurt somewhere. He quickly made his way down the hill and approached behind him. "..deskri... have you been here the whole time?.." he asked, trying to catch his breath from anxiously running over. He stared down at the curled up boy who seemed to be staring at his hands. Rasiel had a look of worry and concern on his face as he didn't know what might be wrong.

Mira heard someone talking but didn't think she was the one being addressed. As she heard the voice persist an answer from right behind her, she stood and turned around to face him, not looking him in the eyes since she didn't know where they were. "What do you want?" she asked, almost bothered by the idea that someone she didn't know had all of a sudden began to talk to her as if they had known each other for a lifetime. She hadn't the slightest idea of who this person was talking to her, all she knew is that she wanted to be left alone, and didn't want to be disturbed by anyone if it wasn't a friend of hers. Mira began to turn back around to ignore him, not wanting to waster her time at that moment, she had better things to do, like figure out how she was going to face going back to the ballroom and explain to her brother why she had run away in the first place.

Rasiel raised his eyebrow, it was almost appalled by his words. "What do I want? I've been looking for you everywhere! How could you even say things like that?" he asked, a growing concern and sorrow in his voice. He was beginning to panic because of the tone of voice that Deskri was giving him. It was hurting him, stabbing down into his heart. He reached out and placed a hand on Deskri's shoulder. "Please... let's just go back..." he half-pleaded, hoping that his first comment had just been a fluke and he really didn't mean it.

Mira felt a hand on her shoulder and she completely lost it. Her eyes were beginning to turn a hint of pink as she whipped around to face him once again, and hit his hand away. "Don't touch me!" she yelled as she glared at him. "I don't know you! So just leave me alone!!" she continued to demand as she then she turned slightly, but kept glaring eyes on him.

Rasiel stared in complete disbelief. "L-leave you-... al-... No. No! Don't say that!! You know who I am! Don't pretend you don't!! Don't.... don't ignore me like this.." his voice was soft, desperate, as he tried hard not to lose control of his emotions. "Please... tell me you know who I am..."

"Get away from me, you freak! I told you I want nothing to do with you!! So LEAVE.ME.ALONE!!!" she screamed as she began to walk away. This guy was deeply bothering her, she didn't understand what he was rambling about as it only infuriated her even more to hear him babble on about not leave him when she didn't even know him.

He felt his heart tear into two as Deskri had told him to leave him alone, but not before he had called him a freak. Of all people. Deskri. Called him a freak. It was almost too much to bear. "No! Don't do this to me!! Please, don't do this to me!! I need you!! I thought... I thought this meant something to you.... I thought... I meant.. something.." his voice trailed off, the pain was too much to bear. He lowered his head, beginning to slip off into his own world once more. "..you're nothing but a failure, Rasiel. He never loved you. He just used you. Like a little faggoty doll. How brilliant.." he spoke in a low voice, whispering to himself as though someone was talking to him, but it was him talking to himself. He managed to attempt breaking free from his slipping depression as he took a few steps forward, you last desperate attempt to try to make things right again. He hoped it was all a sick joke, he hoped it was a lie, or even a dream, a very terrible nightmare. "..w-wait!..." he called out, outstretching his hand to him, trying to maintain him to keep standing.
