Myka turned to Sho, hazel eyes flickering with amusement. "Really? My hair and my breats complimented in the same day? I'm going red!" she said dramatically. She rolled her eyes at Sho before folding her arms. "I'm here because I heard some very ... wonderful things from a very reliable source, and I'm just here to make sure things checked out." Myka said easily.

Sho folded his legs and sat down on the ground, closing his eyes. "Well, both of them are very pretty." He muttered, and smiled in Myka's direction. However, the smile faded from his face and Sho sat up quickly, a frown creasing his forehead. "You're not here just because you the the equivalent of high here, are you?" He asked her, a suspicious look crossing his face. "I mean, your new-found power is all fine and dandy Myka, but you have no idea what that did to you mind." Sho flinched slightly at the memory. "It was painful just for me to see. It may not have hurt you this time, but..." Sho trailed off, and smiled weakly at Myka. "Sorry. I don't mean to sit here and lecture you." "Great job Sho." He thought bitterly, sending the creek a nasty look.

Myka couldn't help but turn a little bit pink at Sho's first comment. Her earlier smirk had turned into a tender smile by that time. "It's alright. I didn't come here to get high. I came to... to talk to you." she said, still somehow able to maintain at least some of her nerve.

Sho's frown faded slightly, though it was still there. "Yeah?" He asked, his tone serious as he propped his head up on one hand, and focused his grey-blue eyes on Myka's hazel ones. "I'm all ears. What is it?" The wind ruffled Sho's hair, and brushed the long black strands into his eyes. Sighing, Sho tried to blow his hair out of his eyes, but failed. He was too lazy to brush his hair out of his eyes himself. "Maybe Myka will do it for you." A snide voice inside his head said, and Sho flushed slightly. "Thank Gods she not a mind reader."

Myka's mouth set into a thin line. She was almost tempted to say 'don't be an a**, this is hard for me', but easily refrained. Her hand reached out and snatched a a few wild locks of hair from the left side of Sho's face easily and curled them around her fingers. Her attention was only on the soft hair and her normally sharp hazel eyes softened somewhat. Her fingers were gentle as she worked through the hair, threading her fingers through it, braiding and then unbraiding it before letting it rest in her hand. "I like a lot of things. I like fast cars and candy bars. " 'I like you.' "I like blue jeans and trampolines." 'I like you.' " I like staying out and sleeping in.'I like you.'" I like Saturdays and shiny blades" she said, her voice trailing softly into the wind. Her fingers uncurled the hair as she tucked it neatly, gingerly behind his ear. "I like you." she said, her fingers lingering beside his face, just hovering over the shell of his ear.

Sho raised one eyebrow, but remained quiet as Myka slowly got to the point, silently reworking this theory about her mind-reading abilities. After Myka finished, a long silence stretched out between the two of them; Sho wasn't really that good at communicating his 'feelings'. "I like you too." He said finally, looking up at Myka. "You're not really like anyone I've ever met before, but I'm still trying to figure out if that is a good thing or not. I mean, I know I like you, it's just..." He trailed off, and looked up at her, shrugging apologetically. "Sorry, I'm not very good at communicating." Sighing, Sho sat up, and brushed dead grass from his shirt, obviously struggling with trying to 'communicate'. He lacked both Myka's easiness, and Ayame's bluntness. "What I'm trying to say is that I really do like you Myka." Sho said finally, meeting her eyes. "But I don't really like it here. I hate it here actually, and I really want to leave. But then I hear all these horror stories about if you leave the protective 'circle' that surrounded Camp Half-Blood, then you die." Sho shrugged again. "I do like you Myka, I really do. I just don't like where we are. And I'm afraid that might affect the way I act." Sho finished, looking up at the sky.

[[on my wayy~]]
Myka smiled softly and tugged at the hairs that were still in her hand. Her hazel eyes were soft as she fingered the hair and looked at Sho. "I understand." she replied, letting her hands fall gently to her sides. She sighed softly before bringing her arms back up, and hugging herself. "No one likes it here. Most of hte orphans do." she added shortly. Myka looked up at the sky, and let the wind mess with her long red hair. "Then do you want to put this, us on hold?" she asked. "Because I don't want to be your f*ck buddy. I'd rather be your girlfriend." she added.

"Well, I would like it if you were my f*ck buddy." Sho said softly in sarcastic tone, moving closer to Myka. "But that would be so rude of me; I guess I should just ask if you want to go out. So here's the big question; want to?" Sho was turned away from Myka, so the wicked sparkle in his eyes wasn't obvious, though if you listened hard enough, you could hear it in his voice. "Because I don't actually want to put us on hold." Sho turned to face Myka, then made a face of disgust. "That sounded like some cheesy line out of a bad romance movie." Sighing, and wondering if he was messing this up, Sho reached out and wrapped his arms around Myka's shoulders, pulling her tight to his chest. "All joking aside though," He whispered in her ear. "I really, really, do like you Myka, and I'm willing to stay here forever in this godd*mn place if that's what you want."

"It does sound something of a romance movie." she agreed. Myka couldn't help but laugh. What else was she supposed to do at that moment? Cry? Aw hell no. She was only hesitant at first, because she had never truly been in this kind of situation before. It may have taken a moment, but Myka reached slowly up and wrapped her arms around Sho. First the embrace was tender before she was just downright protective. For the first time, Myka allowed Sho completly into her mind, so willingly. It was something like an elastic band feeling, as if he were already stretching out, and Myka had just placed herself inside the band. Maybe it was because of her recently discovered powers. Her thoughts were calm and warm, like the tender, yet flickering flame of a candle. Though you never really knew when the candle could fall, and a forceful flame would take it's place. She smiled softly, burying her face into Sho's chest. "I lied. I really did want to be your f*ck buddy." she murmured, "And we won't be here forever. I can pull some strings, get us leave." she added.

(Tee hee <3 Romance and angst ;p. Sorry this isn't as deep as yours.)
Sho closed his eyes, and made a noise halfway between a purr and a hum in the back of his throat. "Wow, you were lying..." He whispered in Myka's ear, teasing her as he allowed her thoughts to enter and mix with his own. "You don't have to be scared. Your brain isn't going to explode or something just because you're letting me completely into your mind." Sho assured Myka, his arms tightening around her ever so slightly. "Though I doubt you're ever scared of anything, right?" Without opening his eyes, Sho leaned down, and brushed his lips against Myka's cheeks. "Someone's hot right now." He said, laughing slightly under his breath, and enjoying the double meaning that lay behind that comment. "Hey Myka," Sho thought, opening his eyes and smirking down at the redhead who still had her face buried in his chest. "Kiss me if you can hear what I'm thinking."

Alright, seriously? Myka couldn't help but shiver. The cool of his skin against the warmth of hers began sending shockwaves up and down her spine. His breath on the shell of her ear was delightfully warm, and cold at the same time. Her knees turned slowly to jelly before she steadied herself, leaning a little more into his embrace. "Damn straight." she replied, tracing small circles onto Sho's back. Myka sighed, something like a sigh and a pleasured moan rippling through her body and slowly out of her lips. "I'm not afraid of the big bad wolf." she purred, a smile still on her lips. 'Jerk.' she couldn't help but think at the 'hot' comment, as a blush curled onto her cheeks. The first meaning was true; Myka's body was warm, and a blush was on her cheeks. Her fingertips tingled with heat as Myka brought her hands forward and rested them on his chest. The second meaning... Well, it was easier to keep it in your pocket when your new boyfriend wasn't such a tease. Around her hair, unconcious sparks of red flickered around her like a halo. They flew and popped, landing feathery on her and Sho's skin. THey did not burn, but tickled innocently.'Alright. You got lucky. You made me blush again.' she thought. Myka felt herself look up as she lifted herself to her toes. She was nose to nose with Sho, a smile still gracing her lips. "I don't need to know what you're thinking to know that you're dying to make out with me right now." Myka said leisurely. A devil's smirk was planted in oriental lines on her face, devious and cunning. But there was still that ever present spark of amusement behind her sharp hazel eyes that was just enough to keep anyone comfortable in front of the semi-sane girl. "And you don't need to read my mind to know I want to kiss you too." Her voice came out as a whisper, soft and bright, dancing away on the wind. She tipped her head up and leaned in carefully. She planted her lips mere centimeters above his, hovering ever so slightly, her breath curling around his mouth. 'Isn't it the guy's job to make the first move?' she thought with a smirk.

"Not always." Sho replied, eyes half-closed as he looked up at Myka with slight amusement. "I bet if I didn't kiss you right now, you would get pretty tired of holding that position. But here, I'll be a gentleman..." He leaned forward, and gently pressed his lips to hers before pulling away. "You should smirk less." Sho told Myka, unwrapping one arm from Myka and leaning back on comfortably. "And smile more." Said smile was playing across Sho's lips, a lazy, warm smile. Whatever cold, sarcastic fronts Sho put up to keep people away were slowly falling to pieces in the company of Myka. He leaned in and kiss her again, letting his lips linger against her for a second longer than last time before pulling away, the lazy smile still on his face, a contrast to Myka's almost bitter smirk. "So, Myka." Sho began, closing his eyes and tiling his head back so that the sunlight streamed through his thick black hair. "I'll make a deal with you, and then you can tell me what you think. I'll be your f*ck buddy if you stop smirking so much, and actually start smiling." Sho lazily opened one eye to look at Myka before closing his eye again. "What do you say? Does that sound like a good deal to you? Because I think it sounds great." Sho let his other arm drop away and rested his weight equally on two arms, so that Myka was sitting in his lap completely out of her own free will.

Myka shrugged blankly. "Nah. I'd just move." she replied softly. For the first time in too long a time, a giggle escaped Myka's lips before Sho kissed her. To say the least, it was better than being high. Better than being jacked up on all that fruity magic crap stored inside of her. It was better than staring at fire, or rising with the sun, or beating Ivy up after comments on various parts of Myka's body. It was better than everything and nothing. The tiny red sparks fizzled and swirled around each other until they were a singular ball of light floating above Myka's head before it exploded into various kinds and colors of fireworks. 'Oh how cliche. I was hoping for something cooler. Like a dragon.' Myka thought. "I appreciate your gentlemanly efforts." she replied. A soft shiver ran through her body when he kissed her again, and something at her navel wanted to tug her forward to deepen the kiss. She was somehow able to ignore it, not wanting to push into anything too quickly. That sort of lingering thing he did was too much! You're better at this than you think you are.' she thought, a smirk still painted on her face. She cocked a brow breezily at Sho's offer before reaching forward and pulling a strand of ebony hair towards herself. Myka wasn't lying when she said she loved Sho's hair. "Hm...An interesting proposition...." she murmured to herself as she sat with Sho. She pressed the hair gently between two fingers before turning her hazel gaze back to his. "Deal. Smirking is an acceptable loss." she said, raising her voice somewhat. "Besides, being your f*ck buddy sounds too good an offer to pass up." Myka chirped, resting her forehead against Sho's, a smile on her lips. "How's this?"

(I love how often they use the word f*ck buddy.)
Sho smiled again. "Wonderful. You have no idea how happy you've just made me by accepting my oh-so generous offer." His smiled got slightly wickeder as he listened to what Myka's thoughts were. "Gods, if me kissing you makes you this happy, I guess it's something I'll have to do more often." Sho said, almost thoughtfully before stretching lazily. "Well f*ck buddy, should we head back to the cabins and see how everyone is doing? It seemed to me that we weren't the only ones with a budding romance, but maybe I'm just imaging the things I saw going on between Ayame and Arson. You'll have to tell me, since you're the romance expert." Sho fell silent for a minute as he eyed the black strands of hair that were still held loosely in Myka's hand. "And may I ask you why you like my hair so much? It's just hair!" Sho rolled his eyes in mock-annoyance. "I guess it must be another girl thing. Then again..." Sho looked up at the mini-fireworks that were exploding in Myka's hair, and smirked slightly. "At the moment, your hair is doing some pretty interesting things. If I were you, I would try and control that. Walking around with fireworks in your hair is a great way to alert everyone of our secret love affair. But it's all up to you." Sho's smirk turned back into a smile, though there was still a hint of amusement in his smile.

[[it is marvelous. XD ... i love myka. ]]
Myka giggled softly, still toying with that stray strand of Sho's hair. It really was lovely hair. How did he get it so soft and managable? God knows Myka's hair was nothing like that. "Best high I've ever had." she mumbled, somewhat incoherently. "And I would greatly appreciate that." Myka added, kissing Sho's forehead lazily. Myka tilted her head as she began thinking. Ayame and Arson? Well, she had known Arson for years and Ayame for what felt like years at least. She could tell that something was going on between the two, but she hadn't been close enough to figure out exactly where it was going. A deadly smirk curled onto the redhead's face. With her skills and Sho's mind-reading, she could make the best romance spy team ever!! She brought the hair in her hand forward and curled it around her upper lip. She raised a brow and after a few seconds nodded. "Yeah. It's official. I'd be even sexier with a mustache." she stated strongly. When a somewhat cold burst of air flew from the river, Myka shivered. She hadn't changed back from her training clothes, had she? And she was sitting in Sho's lap, wasn't she? Oh, how intimate, and somewhat embarassing. Nearly naked in a guys lap. 'Shouldn't that come after dinner and a movie?' she wondered offhandedly. Myka blinked curiously and put her hands up to her hair. 'Well, s**t.' she thought blandly, as a blush crept swiftly onto her cheeks. She took in a deep breath and tried to relax herself. It wasn't hard, and it wasn't easy, considering every time she opened her eyes again and saw Sho, the sparks started back up. "They're related to my emotions." she grumbled as she patted and pushed back at her hair. "If you're looking for a blunt explanation, I'm either in love with you, or very, very horny." she said loftily.
