It's taken me hours to create this.

What is this thread for?
This thread is intended for the development of my dolls from ideas, to sculpt, face-ups, eyes, clothes, until "complete".
I AM NOT asking for commissions; only ideas/links/pictures etc.
I am not trying to give/get advertisements, but if you find something I would like to know where it was found. (see Picture Example)
If I find/create something I'll let you know/give credit where it's needed, link etc.
I don't own a sewing machine, but I am willing to try to sew by hand.
I'm asking if anyone wants to add their two cents and throw an idea at me.
I didn't want to make one for each character because they're a group, and should be able to share clothing/shoes/accessories.
My dolls are for my own enjoyment!
My goal is to have a group of cosplaying BJD's who's "original" selves are based off characters from the anime Outlaw Star.
Most of my BJD's will be 1/4 AOD's so they can swap props, wigs, eyes, clothing and shoes.

I already have "cosplay" clothes in the works for Melfina, Gene, Harry, Ron, Fred, Aisha, and Suzuka.
I intend to post pictures/info of them after I receve them.
I'll have costumes for Aisha and Suzuka even though I don't have dolls of them yet.
I will not have anything for Jim yet because I don't have Jim or anyone of his exact size.

Shoes... I can't make shoes.
Clothes... I am going to try to make, so fabric etc.
May commission Aisha to be made, but I'll try.
She'll need to be dyed tan/brown and have different ears and tails made that all attach to the body with magnates. "Expressions" if you will. Ears and tails for different moods.

Anyway, so far so good... it'll take a while, but it's fun!

I want to add a little bit of a "Back Story" and/or explanations for my Outlaw Star dolls/future dolls.
I liked the anime version's of their costumes/characters/personalities/names etc. so I'm basing my BJD "crew" off of them.
My dolls are seven years later mostly so Jim can be eighteen years old; but also so they are more my own style/versions of them.

Melfina (Maybe one day Melfina Starwind) is my BJD Melfina's full name.
My Melfina is a sweet-natured, polite, kind, loving, calm, caring, honest, hard working, and friendly type of woman.
Melfina helps work for both Starwind & Hawking Enterprises and Salt & Pepper when she is able.
She loves Gene and supports him no matter what.
Melfina likes to read, study, cook, clean, and care for her friends.

Gene Starwind is my BJD Gene's full name.
My Gene is a cocky, reckless, shameless, lucky, irresponsible, bull-headed "tough-guy" type; but he's still has his friends to keep him in line.
Gene is in steep financial debt to Fred, but Jim manages to make things work.
He takes odd jobs for Starwind & Hawking Enterprises.
Gene cares for Melfina and values her opinions, advice, love and care; but he doesn't always show it.

Henry "Harry" MacDougall II is my BJD Harry's full name.
My Harry is a romantic, passionate, and compassionate kind of man.
He's more or less of a loaner.
He's trying to "find himself" and become his own identity.
He loves "Melba" and they both feel the same emptiness.
Harry is called "Harry" by everyone, except for MelB, who calls him "Henry" to make him feel like he is his own individual self.

This is because * in the anime Outlaw Star Harry tells Melfina he was basically a test-tube baby with bio-android parts.
*After the Galactic Leyline Harry's "back up" of himself is a digital program, and it would seem Ron would need to give him a body.
My doll is Henry "Harry" MacDougall II (The Second or 2.0), who would be the "new" Harry that Ron would have created.
(I am NOT going into how this "new" Harry would have been made, it's been seven years, so it happened!)

MelB/Melba (Maybe one day MelB "Melba" MacDougall) is my future BJD MelB's full name.
MelB is a made up, "inappropriate" character; but I am spinning that in a new direction.

In the "Manga" (inappropriate reading material, but I'll call it a Manga) MelB was in, she was a darker skinned, sharper eyed version of Melfina.
In the "Manga" Melfina was worried Gene would mistake this new girl for herself; so Melfina marked a "B" under the girls left eye.
The "B" was for "Black", making the girl's name "Melfina Black" or "Black Melfina" or "Dark Melfina" or "MelB" as they called her.

My future BJD MelB will be Harry's girlfriend.
She helps work for Salt & Pepper occasionally.
MelB is called "MelB" by everyone but Harry, who calls her "Melba" to make her feel like she has a real name, and is her own individual self.
My MelB will be a "back up/copy" of Melfina made by Professor Gwen Khan (a character from the anime) in case of an emergency.
There is only one XGP (the ship AKA The Outlaw Star) but Professor Gwen Khan made Melfina, and "MelB" to pilot the XGP to the Galactic Leyline.
My MelB will be lonely, empty, sad, apologetic, empathetic, sympathetic, and worrisome woman.
She's trying to "find herself" and become her own identity.
She loves "Henry" and they both feel the same emptiness.

James "Jim" Hawking is my future BJD Jim's full name.
My Jim will be a geeky/nerdy, intelligent, smart-Alic, computer carrying, glassing wearing kind of guy.
Jim still runs the business end of Starwind & Hawking Enterprises along with Aisha's restaurant: Salt & Pepper.
Both businesses having large sums of debt/loans owed to Fred of course.
Jim & Aisha have their own little restaurant Salt & Pepper that they share ownership of; and Aisha's the head chef.

My Aisha will be a hot tempered, easily bored, nap taking, mischief making, food devouring, childish, giggly "Cat-Lady".

My Aisha will have different sets of magnetic ears and tails to help express her "moods".

My Ron is a gambling, sneaky, thrill seeking, power hungry, greedy man; but he gave his heart to Suzuka.
He feels like he's lost his little brother, because Harry isn't who he used to be.
Ron still causes trouble, but Suzuka faithfully stays by his side.

My Suzuka will be a calm, quiet, proud and mysterious woman.
Suzuka, a former assassin, has become a tea connoisseur; though she still carries her bokken (wooden sword).
She will be married to Ron MacDougall.

Fred Luo is my BJD Fred's full name.
My Fred is a rich, essentric, spoiled, picky, happy, pouty, sassy, homosexual, and bossy type of guy.
Gene and Jim's Starwind & Hawking Enterprises along with Jim/Aisha's restaurant: Salt & Pepper are in Fred's debt from loans to their companies.
To make matters worse, Fred is the landlord, and one of the live in house-mates.
He gives Gene and Jim odd jobs to help repay their debt.
