MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus's hand and upper body came from the tip of the blade, grabbing the soul. "Thank you Nora..." He said softly as he held the soul above his mouth, and dropped it, allowing it to flow down his throat with ease. The taste was a bit watery, but dry at the same time, he felt the wound in his stomach heave up, it felt weird, the hole was warmed but stung, he needed to get back to a doctor or nurse or somebody. His body fully turned back into its human state, crouched on both knees looking down with his hands on the ground. As he slowly stood he turned to her, his face was pale and his black shirt turned a shade of maroon, but he gave her a smile and a thumbs up all the same, the mission was a success. "Good job Nora... But I think I need to get this checked out..." He muttered referring to the hole in his abdomen. ...but in ATTACK!!

~Nora Levine~ "Cano tasay noni, cano nimono..."
Nora let out a yelp and rushed over to Marcus as he knelt down in pain from the abdominal puncture Bill had given him before biting his neck and having had his heart torn out by Marcus's blade/hand.
"I-I'm so sorry! N-None of this would've happen if I'd have been more stronger! I promise! I'll do better next time! I will! C-Come on!" she said, grabbing his arm as she put it around her shoulder, "We need to get out of here. N-Nurse Toppan will know what to do! C-Can you walk? C-Can you stand?! I'm so sorry! Really!"
She literally dragged him up the stairs and out the basement before hearing a whimper and bark from the sopping wet poodle and it's teary black eyes.
"... OH ALRIGHT I'LL COME BACK FOR YOU TOO! HANG ON!" she yelled, setting Marcus down on the kitchen chair as she went down stairs and fetched the dog.
... Despite not having a shirt, she didn't seem to nice that the whole time, she had been parading around in her bra...

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus gave a smile, putting his feet beneath him and standing, "I can walk, I'll be okay..." He said noticing the light landing on Nora's bare skin, and being placed at the kitchen table. He gave a grin and took off his coat and readied it for her for when she returned. This was an interesting mission... Hopefully we won't be put in that situation where we are separated and have to fight individually, I may have to teach her some martial arts. He gave sigh and waited for her. ...but in ATTACK!!

"EEEEPPPP!" Nora squeaked as she put on the coat and rushed downstairs, "I'm so sorry! I didn't know! I didn't real--! So sorry!"
As she went down the steps to the basement, she picked up the drenched poodle and ran upstairs as she noticed that his coat strangely smelt good...
... Cologne? Soap? She didn't care. She had to figure out what it was when she got home. For now, all she cared was getting Marcus to Toppan and making sure that wound of his would be sealed up and healed by the time they got home.
'... Wow. M-Marcus must really be strong to endure all that... Huh... I-I just hope he doesn't get too hurt the next time we're on a mission.'
Indeed. Though she was still worried about her friend, she was more or less happy that they obtained one kishin egg and were already on their way to becoming stronger.
... Stronger...

MARCUS FAUST Strength is not in defense... Marcus smiled, "It's okay, but we are flying back... I need to see Toppan as fast..." He shouted as he went around the kitchen gathering hand towels and pressing them against his wound. The more and more towels he placed on the hole the less blood that seemed to seep through. "I think we did pretty well for our first time... Wouldn't you agree?"...but in ATTACK!!

"Yeah," said Nora as she helped him with the towels and applied pressure to the wound, "L-Let's just get out of here before anything else happens. I don't care if we have to airlift you back to Shibusen, you are going to see that Nurse."
She heard stories about 'Miss Nurse Toppan' and the horrific experiments and injections she performed on students for her own sadistic, sweet, lustful pleasures...
... But that wasn't true, right? Surely she wasn't like that...

Luna Luminesca The Ice Witch - The White Wolf of the North The journey had been a long one, and Luna had remained silent throughout its duration. They traveled through the snowy fields southward through a few mountain passes. Then, when the mountainous land became flat and green, Luna stopped. In this place, she wouldn't have a terrain advantage, and Rozen would have relatively little trouble traveling on from there. Maybe it was foolish to look out for a friend who was trying to kill you, but it gave Luna a sense of peace knowing that Rozen wouldn't have any troubles after this. Well, she still was going to return to Anemone, and that was trouble in itself, but at least the trip there wouldn't be a problem.
"Well, here we are, Rozen. I suppose this is it. One way or another, we won't be seeing much more of eachother after this..."
Luna looked up at the sky. It was beginning to get dark out, but it wasn't cold out yet. It was a good temperature to make the fight balanced. Luna wasn't looking forward to this, however. She had never really wanted to fight anyone, least of all Rozen. Plus, she had no idea what Rozen could actually do.
"...Unless you've changed your mind, of course. You don't have to go back to Anemone and the abuse...and you don't have to strive to be like them. You can be your own witch..."

WITCH ROZEN Rozen had been completely absent the entire trek, or at least such would appear to anyone without soul perception. The odd crackling of Rozen's soul, in that case, was pervasive.
Without warning, the witch was suddenly standing in the clearing, looking a little worse for wear, but emotionally dead. Her eyes may as well had been replaced by shadows from her hair. She looked up at Luna, and with one last flash of anguish, thrashed her head left to right; biting the air.
CRACK! CRACK!
With a creak and a groan, bony mandibles tore out the sides of Rozen's jaw. There wasn't any blood, but the way they contorted her face looked painful. Her eyes watered, but she couldn't say anything now, even if she wanted to.
Saliva drizzled down the sides of the bones onto the tundra as Rozen assumed a fighting stance. It was an odd consistency and probably unsafe, though the mandibles themselves looked capable of tearing through walls.
Rozen lowered her torso to the ground and raised her arms. While nothing as obvious as her skull had changed, her gloves now looked harder and sharper than before, like an exoskeleton. It was clear it wasn't just talk when she voiced her desire to become less human. Her rigid, splayed posture was positively feral.
'I can't be my own witch... I'm too weak... We... We all are... You--You are a witch too; you should understand... if we don't stay together, we will die... it doesn't matter the context. We need to live...'
All anyone could see of Rozen was a slavering monster, well beyond the Uncanny Valley in terms of humanoid anatomy. She dashed forward.
'It's all I can do...'

Luna Luminesca The Ice Witch - The White Wolf of the North Luna's eyes opened wide in surprise as she saw Rozen change. She wasn't expecting such a thing from Rozen, turning herself into some kind of monster. She knew that somewhere deep inside, however, this couldn't have been what Rozen wanted. She had to beat her and then beat Anemone, for Rozen's own sake.
"I guess that's the answer to that question..."
Putting her own surprise as to Rozen's form aside, Luna readied herself to fight. Combat definitely wasn't something she was used to, she usually ran from her problems. But she needed to fight now. The air around her quickly began to chill, and the ground within a few feet of her began to freeze over. As Rozen charged into the frozen area, Luna raised a wall of ice in front of her to block her path. She needed to hold Rozen off until her ice could spread further. The more ice she could create, the more ammunition she'd have for the fight. Then she could turn into her wolf form, she could still manipulate ice in that form, but she couldn't freeze things upon contact in it. In that form she was much more dangerous, stronger, faster, and more durable.
"Rozen...Somehow, someway, I'm going to beat Anemone. And once he's gone, you won't have to be anyone's tool. We'll be able to live in peace..."
Luna didn't know if she was saying this more to Rozen or herself. Rozen looked strong, and it wasn't looking like it would be easy to beat her. It was taking all of her courage not to run away.

WITCH ROZEN "HHKHHHSSSSSSHHH," was Rozen's only response, from both her throat and heels as she skittered out on the ice, and up the ice as momentum kept her going up the side of the wall. She made it about halfway up in a flurry of scratching limbs before she started to slide back down. With multiple "Kchnk!" sounds, Rozen clawed her way atop the vertical surface with ease.
She paused at the top and leaned over like a spindly gargoyle. Drool spattered down the side of the wall, and Rozen took a flying leap off the structure. She seemed to float peacefully for a second, before swooping down towards her target like a javelin.
The witch hit the ground kneeling and stumbled forward into wild swipes forward, just barely aimed at Luna. The movements were clumsy and erratic, but the basic training was there. If nothing else, Rozen was relying on natural instinct to fight the battle.

Luna Luminesca The Ice Witch - The White Wolf of the North Nobody had ever been able to climb up one of her ice walls before. Usually, the ice was much too slippery for attackers, and they would waste a good deal of energy and time just trying to get to her. Rozen's bug-like movements were allowing her to close in much faster than Luna would have liked. Luna was just able to hop backwards out of the reach of Rozen's attack, and as she landed let her momentum on the ice slide her further away. She moved expertly on the ice, perfectly balanced and without ever coming close to slipping.
The ice isn't slowing her down enough...I'm going to have to attack...
As Luna came to a stop, she put her hands on the ground. The ice under her began to raise up until it was a twenty-foot tall pillar. Once it reached that height, the pillar began to crack. Luna whistled and jumped off backwards. The pillar of ice broke into hundreds of razor-sharp shards, all of which came hurtling down towards the ground, raining down on the area Rozen was in.
As Luna fell backwards, her pink guitar came, responding to her call. Still ten feet in the air, the guitar parked right beneath her and she landed sitting on it, hovering in the air while the shards of ice rained down on Rozen.
((Its kind of like shattered glass raining down. Harmful to normal people, but I'd probably figure Rozen's exoskeleton would block most, if not all, of the damage.))

WITCH ROZEN Rozen ended up on all sixes as she missed Luna by a mile, or at least a mile from Rozen's perspective. She wanted to end the fight as soon as possible, even if it meant taking the more violent route. Rozen just wanted to leave, but she needed to prove herself first.
She shakily attempted to stand up and skate herself, but it was quickly realized as a bad idea. Rozen wasn't just tall, she was oddly proportioned; a normal girl stretched vertically with an elongated torso to compensate her extra arms and elongated legs for no other purpose than to compensate her extra abdominal muscles. In short (no pun intended), balance was not Rozen's strong suit.
Instead, she stayed low to the ground, clawing at the ice with her fore arms and gripping the scratches with the others. She realized almost immediately that an enormous pillar of ice was probably a bad omen, but kept pressing on, even after it exploded.
Frozen shrapnel rained down onto Rozen, shredding what little area of her leggings weren't covered in runs and sticking into the leather that covered everywhere else. She hissed lowly and flattened her antenna against her head.
With a desperate leap, Rozen pounced at the remains of the pillar in an attempt to use the jagged pile of ice as a foothold. The poor start caused the witch to tear her twisted leg to pieces on impact, but it regenerated almost immediately. Without missing another beat, she flung herself off the ruins and towards Luna. It was such a poorly thought-out maneuver, it was unclear whether Rozen meant to grab Luna or ram her, given she even on target to begin with. The clicking of the cockroach's mandibles were clear in that whatever the thought-process, it was intended to hurt.
((By the way, your video's been removed.))

((Thanks, it's fixed now.)) Luna Luminesca The Ice Witch - The White Wolf of the North Luna wasn't expecting Rozen to be able to charge right through the rain of ice shards. Usually, it would at least give people pause, if not seriously hurt them. But Rozen charged right through, ignoring the damage as if it were nothing. Luna didn't get a chance to see this and plan for her to be so close, her concentration was on her guitar, making sure it was beneath her as she fell. When she turned around, she was surprised to see Rozen right in her face.
As Luna jerked back, trying to avoid being hit by Rozen, she forgot in that instant that her guitar was quite narrow, and she really didn't have space too move. She fell off, landing hard on her back on the ground. Luckily it was only a ten foot drop so she wasn't seriously hurt, but Luna was anything but durable. As she hit the ground, the wink was knocked out of her and she was stunned momentarily. For once, the ice was betraying her. She was an expert at staying balanced when standing on ice, but once you had already fallen down, it was quite hard to get back up, even for her. It was a perfect chance for Rozen to attack.
((Wow, this really seems like a low powered battle. Rozen basically has a free hit on Luna now, just don't kill her or anything...))

WITCH ROZEN "KKHHHHSSSS--KKc--KKc--KKc!" Rozen gargled as she clumsily hit the side of Luna's floating guitar. She scrambled to right herself, tearing at the strings of the instrument, which was now slick with saliva.
Without Luna's magic being focused on the guitar, it started to lose its levitation, tipping and dropping Rozen to the ground. She hit the ice hard, shards splintering up beneath her twisted form. Cracking and popping erupted from the small crater as Rozen pulled herself together and realigned the bones that had broken on impact. She twisted herself out of the ice and used the broken pieces as a foothold. She launched herself forward towards Luna...
...and skidded right past. In her hurry to attack, Rozen hadn't been able to grip the ice. She remedied her mistake, digging her claws into the surface like cleats and tried again, teeth bared.

((...Oh boy...had to hit the guitar, didn't you? )) Luna Luminesca The Ice Witch - The White Wolf of the North
As Luna was finally able to pull herself to her feet, she looked up, just in time to see Rozen skid past her. It seemed like her ice was more effective than she originally thought.
She looked up towards her guitar, and saw the condition it was in. Rozen had torn some of the strings, made some serious scratches in the paint, and covered it in saliva. Luna stared up at it in horror, watching in slowly float to the ground. Luna was still for a moment as it hit the ground, almost as if the damage was taking a while to register in her mind. She turned slowly to face Rozen, her fists and teeth clenched tightly, and her eye twitching.
"You...hurt my guitar..."
The already freezing air around Luna seemed to get much colder, to temperatures far below zero. As Rozen made a second charge at her, Luna ran towards her, jumping over Rozen a split second before she would have made contact and shifting into her wolf form in mid jump. As she landed, she slid to a stop, turning to face Rozen with her own teeth bared. Luna let out a long howl, and Rozen could feel the ground shaking beneath her. The ice formed beneath her and launched upwards in the form of a spike, threatening to impale her. And around Rozen, about a dozen other spikes rose up, all threatening to cut off any escape routes from her initial attack.
