Code-ster Advent Children all the way! How can you like the film better? it was the game that made the film work. The game has everything you'd every need for any sort of story.

I love the movie, and was so glad it came out, but the game can never be replaced!
I found it fasinating that on the DVD they have an 'intro' to the movie, which is basically the plot from the game crammed into 20 mins!!! Using in game scenes. My partner was watching ti with me, and got very confused, lol, probably as it went a boit fast for him to read and that he's never played the game sad

Hmm, the original game is superb but I think they both tie together real nice! Although I wouldn't have expected the storyline in AC xd

its kink of hard to say for me but i think i would say that the origingal is my favorite of both of them but at least in advent children u find out what happens after the final battle :

The game. Because you can't enjoy the movie as much as you can the game.

The original's story line destroyed the one in the movie but the graphics make up for it a lot.

Hakiro-kun_777 Which is better? I just wanted everyone's opinion. (First Post) In my opinion, they were both awesome. I just thought AC was a little bit of a let down because I expected it to answer some of my questions,(like who was talking to cloud the whole damn game???) and it did,(Zack), but it caused more questions than it answered. It confused me. But it was still a kick a** movie.

well it depends on what your talking about graphic wise ff7 advent children kicked a** as for story ff7 the original all the way

I love them both but would have to say the original. The original set the stage for Square(Enix) to build off of. Otherwise AC would have nothing. AC was great and the overall summary of the events in the game was simplified enough for anyone to understand... but I'm still partial to the game. I'll admit I'm a bit of a fangirl for Sephiroth, Kadaj and Yazoo though. So they both have their strong points. mrgreen

Umm ur all not too sharp, the game by far is better due to the fact games normally kick a** against movies.

im sorry but im going to have to go with the origonal FFIV over AC. in my mind that movie crossed one or two boundaries (mainly to do with bahamut rolleyes ) that it never should of....
also i sorta grew up with the game, and had it from the day it came out (well sorta) and so i guess that could be a reson why i dont like the movie.
