Olga-- Scarred lawyer The house is.... cosy. Following after the strange... man? Olga presumed it was a man from the rude tone of voice it used. He leapt past her to reach the next floor and bounded to the first door that he came to. Opening it swiftly, he hustled them into the cramped hall that was filled with various junk and other things. While he was waiting for everyone to make their way in the door he pointed towards the room on the left which was not much larger than the entrance to his house. Finding the room filled with couches and chairs, Olga hesatated momentarily, before heading to one of the seats next to the far wall. It was a deep blue with a thick cushion for a seat. A high back and a low seat, just like the one she had at home.Spotting a towel hanging on the wall, she grabbed it and wiped at her gunk covered clothes as best she could before sitting down. She waited as the guide made to speak.

Victor Victor walked, moving closer to the guide, hoping that he'd make it out of here. When they entered the room, he leaned against the wall and sighed. Why did this have to be happening to him? He watched a woman wiping the gunk off her with a towel. He had some on his jeans. "Hey, can I use that when you're done?" he asked, pointing to the towel.

Sable looked around at the odd assortment of funrniture, and found a padded foot stool place at the edge. The fabric was red.. a plush velvet, and she sat upont it almost timidly, as if it were going to grom fangs and consume her at any moment. He posture was strait, and she looked nervous, a flightty bird, ready to take off at the sligtest sound. No on else adresses the small man, so she did so. "W- wh-Where are we?" She refused to make eye contact, and instead stared at the hands folded delicately across her lap. Her speech started lightly, nervously, and slowly grew stronger. "Everything is... wrong. It's nothing like the world I know. Where are the people, and the noise... and the beauty?"

Casper unwillingly followed the others into this random person's "home." He sighed. Man, I don't get payed enough for this. He took a seat in the room of many couches and for a moment, was reminded of his late fiance. Everyone assumed she was dead. The woman had worked at the Chronos Building and had suddenly disappeared one day. Casper himself was still having issues with her disappearance, though his current situation was bothering him much more.

Olga-- Scarred lawyer A clean towel. Olga jumped as someone spoke from behind her. Tuning to face the man she quickly found that he had been covered with as much of the "blood" as she had. Wiping the last of it out of her hair as best as she could, she moved to pass the towel to the man, but realized that it wouldn't do much as it was already covered in the gunk. "Wait a second. I think that there's another towel up here." Scaning back over the mound of random junk next to her chair, Olga soon found a similar towel to the one hat she had used and passed it to Victor. "Here, this should be better than the one I used."((I'm going to wait for SkunkBlossoms before posting as Icar again.))

Victor "Thank you very much, ma'am." Victor smiled and wiped the gross stuff off him. Today was just getting weirder and weirder with each passing moment. He sighed and collapsed in a chair, wiping the gunk off his arms.

---Jack Dubois
Unlike everyone else who had randomly put all of their trust in this shady figure that they had just met, Jack was pretty suspicious of this new character. Watching with icy eyes as the rest of the bunch from the elevator sat down comfortably on the couches in the room, he stood and watched, crossing his arms as he speculated everything wrong about this picture. His eyes were glued to the figure for a long while, then passed quickly over the younger man, the lawyer, the woman that he had saved from having her face shredded, and the other younger girl that he had seemingly not noticed when in the elevator, before returning to Icar.
All Jack really wanted was to get back to reality, if that was the case at all; since he was still skeptical. He had had something to get done, and now it was only being set aside until this ridiculous predicament was solved. It seemed he was getting rather impatient with this man who told the lot he would explain things to them, glaring at the silence that persisted. If they were in danger, he wanted it to be eliminated as quickly as possible, and this whole cozy charade was getting irritating. "If there's something we need to know, I'd like to hear it now if it's okay with you," he said, though something in his voice exuded the fact that he didn't care if the.. man was comfortable about it.

The guide named Icar A lot of speaking Now that everybody was in, Icar coughed lightly to get their attention. "Right. No doubt you're all confused by a lot of things right now. Hopefully I can clear up some of these things to help you all out. Firstly, you are not on Earth anymore. The sooner this sinks in, the better. Your normal rules no longer apply. Secondly, Welcome to the Realm of Crossroads. For some reason, everything that jumps realms will end up here first. People, usually wander until they fall into another realm. You would call these thing aliens in your planet. Thirdly, I know of a way back to your world. This is a good news/bad news situation. Good news is, it's not that far away. Bad news is, the spiders are in the way. We might need to jump through a few other realms to get back to yours. I'll be the one leading you through these realms to keep you on the right path. Right. Any questions?" Even if someone had tried to jump in when Icar had been speaking, no signs of stopping or hearing them was shown. Questions would be asked when they were wanted. Now they would be answered. ((Scythe, is this too much? I can change it if you want.))

((It could be, but we're being creative here. Not everything may go according to what Icar believes. By the way, if anyone has any ideas that they think would be interesting to confuse the hell out of the characters with, fee free to pm.))
Casper hadn't really processed the words that the ...thing was saying. "Spiders in the way..." he mumbled. "Why did we end up here anyway?" Wait... how big are those spiders... that was a disturbingly amount of green gunk at the elevator...
...and then there came a skittering loud banging sound on Icar's door. Whatever was out there was big and had multiple legs. But it didn't just bang on the door. It was banging on the walls as well. Maybe it wasn't aware of Icar's little dwelling. Maybe it was simply annoyed at someone or something.

The guide named Icar Question time. A scuttling and banging in the hallway outside the house brought everyones attention to the door. The meter tall spider would make short work of anyone in it's way. Fast, strong and dangerous. Thankfully they wern't very smart or they would have found the house long before now. I think that will give you a vauge size of them. That one sounds like it could be about a meter high, probably less though... Someone asked something about why your here? The answer to that is, I don't know. It could be something to do with fate or luck, god if you beleive in him or something else entirely. I'll leave it up to you to decide on that one. Any other questions?" ((Revival attempt))

Shivering violently, Aaron clutched the back of his head, gripping mounds of his hair into his fists as he tumbled down into a fetal position. His teeth chattered, his eyes wide and staring at his cloth-covered thighs. He had been running down a stairwell yet had seemed to just be going higher. He was afraid and desperately wanted to be with his mother. The skittering of another, rather large, spider caused his head to snap his head back up. It found him again. With more tears falling from his eyes and covering already-dried ones, he jumped up. The small boy had spotted a small crevice made by something or another against a wall and darted, not wanting to go through anymore flights of stairs that took him backwards. Squezing in, the spider banged against the wall and door near him. He curled into himself. After a few more terrorizing minutes he let out a scream for his mother that made his dry throat go raw.

Immediately after Icar ended his "sermon," a loud wailing scream for "Mom" sounded, echoing the whole floor. Well, damn. Who or what is that? Casper thought. It sounds like my cousin's bratty baby song. Except the whole floor moved because of it. It even drowned out the spider's movements. Whatever the case, something else was out there and seemed to be in need of help. Casper wasn't about to do that though. One meter high spiders weren't something he'd rather go against empty handed.
"That's not a spider, is it?" Casper blurted.
((If no one in the group ops for a rescue mission, I'll ... make something up to get little kid Aaron in.))

Sable went shock still. "That's definately NOT a spider." She said, her tone even and a little angry. "There's a Frecking KID out there!!!" She recognized the scremes.. just like her younger brother would scream when he got lost. Terrified, anger, frustraion. "Did a kid come with us?" She asked... then answered her own question with a quick absolute no. "We have to get him... you can;t just leave a kid to die like that."
((sorry for the crapy post.. sort of writers block right now. >.<))
