Despite my love for fantasy and horror, I have to admit, my favourite book would have to be "A Season in Hell". That is the actual name of it for once razz
It's an action novel about an ex-SAS who is hired to investigate the disappearance of a wealthy woman's son. It mixes mystery with suspenseful action, though it is more of an action novel than a mystery.

I like western romances. They're rather discriptive with the romance parts, but still include some intense action. My favorites are "After All" by Jill Marie Landis and "The Texan's Wager."
And since I'm a major Star Wars enthusiest, I've got the Darth Vader ovel and read it so many times.
