That kinda sucks though. The shops part, I mean. Cause before, it was like, Here's a store. It might have some cool customers there, or just some interesting dialogue or whatever. Or certain stores will have some items, and not others. So if you just use save points like vending machines, it kinda takes some of the personality away from the game.

Yeah, but I doubt it'll be 4 minutes in FF13. I mean, just considering how much more content FF13 is gonna pack into one disc.
By the way, my friend tells me that the screen resolution on the Xbox 360 version of FF13 is gonna be really crappy.

By the way, my friend tells me that the screen resolution on the Xbox 360 version of FF13 is gonna be really crappy. yeah thats what i heard too. poor them i geuss. mines going to becrappy either way cause my tv suks.... lol there was soomin else i wanted to say but i forgot what it was. that i read in the mini guide...... *goes to get mini guide* did u know u will have lil to no control over the other chars, if im reading right thats what this thing says. you can skip cut scenes not a big deal thought id mention it some games you can some cant. you wont get money from battles only from selling items u get from battles and from finding it or selling items u get from finding.

Well, you can't control the other party members in Persona 3 either, so that doesn't bother me so much. As long as the AI is good and they're not being idiots during battle.
The best thing I find in a lot of games cinematics these days is being able to pause right in the middle of the cinematic. I love that. Can you do that in FF13?

No, it'll be my loss if I buy it and it sucks. Sucks being a relative term, FFX didn't suck per-se, but it was disappointing. And if FFXIII is as good as X, then it's by far not good enough. Then I would have wasted $70. There are games out there where I know I'm gonna love them from the start. But with FFXIII, I'm very skeptical. So I'm not gonna take my chances.

Final Fantasy is no better than any other game series. And as such, (especially with 13 installments) it has and will have good and bad sequels as long as it exists. So don't put it on such a pedestal. There was absolutely nothing I've seen or read about FFXIII that will suggest that it's gonna have a good storyline. And that's a deciding factor in an RPG.
