Username xXSylvakyXx
Character Name Narab
Age 164
Looks 19
Gender Male
Sexuality Straight
Bio Despite being a demon Narab had always been different. He didn't go out of his way to sit around or get into useless fights. Instead he spent his time studying different emotional circumstances. He found it rather amusing how humans seemed to react to his presence compared to others. He always had a dark feeling around him. When you saw him you would immediately know he was dangerous. After his studies he concluded that emotions were useless and only got in the way. Little did he know he was more vulnerable to his own emotions then he first thought.
Likes Nothing
Dislikes Emotions
Interests Narab has always been one for art. It always portrayed what he was thinking. Soon he adopted drawing and sketching as a hobby.
Race Demonic Angel
Special Talents Narab has the ability to turn almost completely invisible. Making it hard for even the most powerful demons and angels alike to see him. Though it seems only humans are immune to this power as they can spot him easily.
Weapons Narab is equipped with two wrist blades that are hidden under his sleeves. He also either carries or wears ten metal claws, one for each finger.
(Would anyone like to summarize what has happened so far?)

((Sure. Ororon is found on the sidewalk wounded across from my apartment, healed by Airadain, and rejects my offer of help. He walks straight into a gang HQ to rest, and I follow him, concerned for his welfare. I tell him where he is and leave, exasperated that he continues to refuse my help. He beats up the gang kids using his supernatural powers, then wanders off down the street. Meanwhile I'm working at the nearby homeless shelter when I hear screams from the kids, and look out to see Ororon again. While I'm getting my first aid kit Rai starts attacking the gang because they have 'sinned'. I have just tapped her on the shoulder because I want to discuss why she is attacking.))

Ororon sniffed loudly and looked back the gangs hideout as the scent of blood multiplied. He didn't care much, it only meant they wouldn't bother him again. He smiled, then grimaced as another scent floated over, the pungent odour of a disgusting angel, and that is where he went.

Rai pulled her blade from the last sinner and swung it to face the human. A traitor. "I know you Fallen. You turned your back on the very entity that breathed life into you. You are even worse than these scum here." She kicked a nearby corpse to make her point.

Nadine bristled with shame and rage at the angel's words. Suddenly it seemed as though she had all the breath in the world. "My god has turned his back on me, but I have never stopped looking for him. He is the one who has betrayed his people, and I will not break the oath I made before your birth never to kill a man again." She looked somewhat condescendingly at the angel's rank marks. "Were you there when we flooded the earth from our hate? The same being that created us made this scum as well, yet he cares for us better than for these of his children." Angrily she turned away from the destruction that the angel had wrought. "Now thanks to you none of these sinners can be saved." She felt hot tears come to her eyes knowing that once again she could do nothing for any of the souls lying there in the dirt and puke of the hideout.

Ororon may have been raised as a devil but not in ignorance. From what he knew God would still love these 'scum' he found himself agreeing with the angels choice of words, no. It was Jesus who had said love them as you do me for everybody is my brother or something like that. That would mean he cared for his Angels just as much as he did for these but he was a very wrathful god after all. He stood outside the building wondering whether his honour would still hold for not somehow thanking this person because she was a fallen angel.

Rai scowled. "Disgrace. These filth were beyond saving just like their ancestors of long ago. My Lord has never turned His back on any, it is always everyone else who turns their backs to Him. He saved the righteous from the flood. You dare say He cares not for these scum? Who did He give freedom of will too? Certainly not us! Who did He create in His image? Not us! He has blessed these putrid sinners beyond count and yet they shame Him, curse Him, blame Him for all that goes wrong in their pathetic lives and then take the glory when He blesses them! Disgusting, vile, worthless, selfish sinners! All must be cleansed of this earth that our Lord so graciously gave them and in which they destroyed! None shall live!" Rai panted, her face flushed from her anger. She was one of the mightiest angels in God's command and she would not suffer a disgraced Fallen's pathetic whining. If only God would count the Fallen as humans so that His true followers could wipe them out. Worse than humans they were.

Nadine could practically feel the waves of hate rolling off of the angel. It made her feel sick. "What about the pain and suffering that He has exempted us from? Do you count that as nothing? And did not our Lord declare that He would not turn his back on even the most unworthy of sinners? I tell, you, more than one promise has been broken today." As she spoke Nadine saw that demon watching outside the cramped room and blushed, afraid he had seen her cry. So he was following her now, eh? This was the last straw, she felt her rage boil over as she pointed accusingly at him. "And what about these creatures that He made? Assuredly he has given them neither gifts nor assistance, and you can see what scum they turned out to be!" "Go ahead, rid the world of the life it has left. Let it be on your shoulders- act like the humans you despise, kill all the babies you want. But you'll have to get through me first." She turned to leave the abandoned hospital, hoping to warn as many as she could before they too were butchered. She knew that she couldn't kill the angel- along with that being nearly impossible she felt too much sympathy for her.

Narab watched closely as an angel entered the building he was perched upon. Followed by a fallen angel. He sat still as he listened to the sounds of death. He knew he should probably save the humans but they would probably turn against him as well. It seemed to be happening a lot lately. He sighed as the fallen angel came running out of the building. Narab was sure the angel wasn't to far behind. He couldn't believe what he was about to do. Though, the fallen angels had defied the lord and sided with the humans. Why, he did not know but it made them partially allies.
Standing and brushing off his pants he jumped down, letting his wings slow his fall. As his feet touched the ground he stepped to the side, letting the fallen angel past. Turning around he faced the building door. Slowly he put on each ten of his claws. moving his hand and fingers in such a way to test the flexibility and fit of the small metal blades attached to his finger tips.

Ororon looked up as the angel corrected the fallen. There was another. He was spying on them, and would certainly want Ororon to return home. Which was the last thing Ororon wanted, he ducked away as Nadine pointed him out to the Angel. She would likely kill him and he had had enough of defending himself for today, the blood covering his coat was proof enough of that.

Narab shifted his eyes to the side. "Ororon..." He greeted. He didn't say anything about returning as he should have. The way he saw it, he would go home when he was ready. Though for now he had larger concerns. If the angel insisted on fighting then he would protect the pathetic humans, after all, it was an order.
How he got stuck with babysitting humans he didn't know. But it was a job, and every job he took seriously. It just so happen that it was harder to be the protector. Usually he'd be going about his business studying or killing as usual.

Rai breathed deeply and scowled. Demons, two of them. "Bring it." She sheathed her large sword and pulled the daggers from her boots. She couldn't wait for a good fight against demon scum. RETURN. "No! Please my Lord, allow me to finish off these filth!" Rai begged, feeling the tug on her body as God began to pull her back. She refused to leave without doing something. "Titans of old, hear my plea. Turn in your earthen graves and shake the land around you! Destroy the unholy and the fallen!" Rai smirked as she felt the Titans waking under her feet before she gave into her Lord's summon. The demons and this wretched city were about to be in for a rather quakey surprise. (( Going to be pretty busy for a while and I will drop in when possible but until then I thought I'd leave ya'll with something... big lol. (And in case someone can't figure it out, the Titan's are causing an earthquake).))

The appearance of yet another demon had frightened Nadine and she had run even faster. If another demon was in the city his intentions were surely not good, he might even try to kill her. She felt cowardly as she ran away from what looked like a fight starting- but, hey, warning the humans was more important than saving any one of the beings in the veterinary, right? The quake wrenched Nadine off her feet, and she hit the ground hard, rolling all the way down the hill. She struggled to control her path as random cracks opened in the ground beneath her. Yet another reason I ought to have wings, Nadine thought as she painfully fell into a depression that had just been street. Bruised and battered, she tried to use her staff's blade as a sort of lever to try to climb up the dirt cliff to street level- but her muscles, exhausted from hours of harsh abuse, thought otherwise. Frustrated, Nadine flopped back into the network of crevices, concentrating on presenting a smaller target for the quake damage. ((Sorry to have been out for so long... and thanks so much for the gift, Kitty rolleyes ))

Ororons inhuman balance kept him upright as he ignored the spirits of old. He watched the fallen angel, he forgot her name and briefly wondered if he had known it at all. She was ridiculously clumsy in this earthquake and would surely get herself killed if she stayed in the crevices. The demon Narab had shown no interest so it was safe to help her, get his dept payed off. His long legs swiftly carried him over the shaking ground to her, "for helping me, I will grant you one wish"

Despite herself Nadine cracked up. Here she was stuck in a crevice and this demon wasn't even helping, just acting like the Tooth Fairy. Demons didn't grant wishes, they cursed people. Well, if he wasn't going to help her then she would just have to manage. Meanwhile... "Just protect the humans in this city, as many as you can." If you can manage even that, she thought to herself. Still, the task should keep the demon busy trying to do good while she got herself out of such a vulnerable position. And at least the demon was giving her credit for her help.
