Kirin rubbed at his neck and hoped he wasn't blushing again as he reached out to accept Zac's proffered arm. He hadn't thought anyone did things like this anymore, but Zac seemed to be all over the old-fashioned manners. Kirin was only familiar with them because his mother had loved movies like that every so often, finding the olden style of manners very romantic (though less so the domineering male behaviour that often accompanied them - they'd never been able to make it through 'Gone With The Wind').
"I had a nice time today," he offered as they began walking.

"I... did too." Zink confirmed with a nod. "I would, still very much enjoy that chess game." He added slightly hastily.

Kirin nodded his agreement. "Yes, we'll have to do this again. Chess would be good."
Less confusing than coffee and a movie. Would the chess game count as a second date? Kirin still wasn't sure if today was a date. Or as far back as the karaoke? Dating was so impractical, and Kirin didn't have nearly enough data to try and force this through a flowchart.
"So," he tried to fish for some of that data he so needed, "that would mean we're..." Friends? Dating? Interested in seeing what developed after gathering more data and analysing it?
