The basic idea is that we are hated with no reason, and we are hated by many people. As to how they rationalize active hatered, thats when it gets complicated.

Christians hate the jews for being 'heretics' by not following jesus as the savior. Muslims hate the jews because they shifted the blame of their isolation and backward selves from the christians and the crusades to the jews, then came the influence that hitler had on some of them, and then came the formation of israel.
So there are reasons, but they are pretty (pardon my french) shitty reasons.

there are people out there today that are from the old nation called "amalek",and hate us.
in the desert when israel left egypt and went to israel they were attacked by that nation and we won, but anyway where is that coming from?
you know... all the story with yakov that stole the "bracha" blessing from eisav. eisav was first born from the twins (him + yakov) and was to get that blessing from itschak (their father יצחק - the name in hebrew) and yakov toke it. so eisav was mad and is going after us.
dont think yakov was not allowed to take it, before hand yakov bought it from eisav for some food, and he agreed. god agreed to this too, the talmud (jewish study for law) teaches that moses told pharoh in egypt "god said: let my first born nation go" the talmud says 2 things.
1) hashem ment by "first born", the best one.
2)from here we know god agreed to the "selling" of eisavs first born to yakov, he said " first born"
so with all this they still claim we "robbed them" but is not true! is ours, there is no good/right reason for them to hate us. is "anti-shemiut"

they are just pissy because they controlled the middle east for a long time, then christian colonization happens and then israel is formed.
In all fairness, I would be pissy too if my home was taken from me, but I digress...
They may not like it, but they should respect it because we all are in their terms people of the book.
The people of that region just shift the blame on everyone because they blame everyone in the world (also known as infidels) for their problems when infact it was their own isolation after the crusades which made them the way they are. Portuguese and Dutch ships found ways to go to the Orient without the need of the silk road, the Spanish found the Americas and began making their own coffee and sugar. The europeans went through the enlightenment and developed guns and better armor and weaponry, and all the while middle east is becoming poorer and poorer because of their foolish mistake to be isolated.
I read all about it in a book xd 3nodding
